I have known State Farm Insurance Agent Michelle DeCarlo for 15 years and I highly recommend her for all of your insurance needs. She has always proven to be professional, compassionate, and understanding. I have always loved working with her and her team because they always go above and beyond for anything and everything that is asked of them.
Steak tacos and Menudo are the bomb...love this place. I used to go to eat when I was on a hangover, because it was the cure all.. now its just for pure enjoyment of the food and the family that owns it.

The company failed to send me my new insurance cards on-time twice. I was upset when I talked with the owner Michelle, and she got angry with me and had very poor customer service skills, blaming the Post Office, and being very uncaring. Another employee of hers promised to help me and he never followed through. Finally, on the 3rd contact, I was helped.
Honestly, I wish could give agency zero stars. I bought my truck, and they misquoted me under my sisters name, who wasn’t even with StateFarm anymore and hadn’t been for a few years after I told the guy on the phone my name multiple times. Ended up being misquoted two more times, billed for random amounts every month, and no one could give me a solid answer about what was happening. Finally, I was told for all the misquotes on my 6 month premium I owed StateFarm money for what I was supposed to have been quoted the first time and was being billed for this offices mess up. This whole time no one was ever able to tell me my real quote until the very end. Michelle was very rude and unprofessional on the phone, tried to talk over me and told me I was lying about the other misquotes (if that’s the case, where’d they come from because I sure didn’t pull those out of thin air) even though I was able to name the employees who had given me the other quotes. I ended up filing a formal complaint against her with StateFarm but clearly this hasn’t solved any problems. I switched to Allstate a few months back, told StateFarm to kick me from their insurance as I didn’t want to be with them anymore after her staffs continuous screws up and Michelle’s poor behavior towards me.Go on a few months, there was no problems with this agency for my parents and suddenly their insurance rate goes up enough to be questionable, my dad calls and it turns out, after not being insured by them for months, I magically reappear on their policy under a vehicle I have NEVER been insured under before and, wait for it, no one can give a solid answer at that office as to why I am now insured by them again when I can provide current coverage with Allstate.Absolutely horrible customer service and office staff does not know what they’re doing and neither does she. Not sure how she’s stayed in business this long and how StateFarm hasn’t caught onto her numerous complaints and sour attitude towards her clients. I recommend finding another StateFarm agent and staying clear of this office or bet yet find another insurance company.
Had multiple insurance policies with this office for far too long a time, and it was only when I switched agents that I learned how many mistakes this office made, including a huge oversight where one of my policies was actually dropped. Feel like I can sleep better at night now with a more responsive agent and team. P.S. With regard to your recent response please note I was not your customer for 25 years.
When trying to change my address, my policies were canceled or messed up. When trying to fix that, more payment plans were added. None of the agents could actually assist me on their own. Unhelpful and stressful.

Michelle and her staff have been very helpful. We switched from American Family which was a little cheaper, but had poor customer service. We figured if the service was poor in serene times, what would it be like when we filed a claim? Michelle and her team worked hard to find us the most discounts possible. She also took the time to recommend a specialist contractor when it was not part of her job and we werent filing a claim. It feels good knowing you are going to be taken care of in a time of need.
Absolutely terrible insurance agent. I have had issues with Michelle since I switched from my Oregon policy to my Colorado policy because I moved. She lacks professionalism, she doesnt follow up, is rude and careless. I would never recommend her to my worst enemy.
Job seekers beware! I wasted 2 hours of my life interviewing here and being offered a job that was essentially a fraudulent posting. The listing states that employees’ compensation includes commissions and bonuses, which was then confirmed at the interview. After an offer was made, I was informed that their budget couldn’t afford commissions and bonuses after all.Additionally, I was told that a second employee would be hired on after this role was filled. After the offer, turns out their budget doesn’t allow for even this position to be full-time, let alone hiring a second person.I should’ve read more reviews before wasting my time. The entire experience felt unprofessional and dishonest.
Been with State Farm for 30 years. Never once filed a claim until this year. After receiving 1.5 hail damage on my roof, I asked State Farm to step up to the plate. They refused. I asked for a 2nd inspection, and they refused again. Data from AccuWeather doesnt lie, and State Farm is insistent that the weather reports were wrong. When contacting my agent, she provided no help whatsoever. Basically treated me, not like a valued customer, but as a customer that they didnt want since I filed my first claim in 30 years. State Farm is not a cheap insurance, I would expect more. Allstate and Farmers both are considerably lower in price than State Farm. You only know how good insurance is when you need it. State Farm does not stand by their customers, and their agents will not go to bat for them either. They need to keep their claims down, and if you file a claim, they dont want you as a customer. And will do nothing to help.
We have been with Michelles State Farm office for almost 10 years. She and her staff have always helped me have the best coverage. They are well trained and check in with me to see if there are any changes or if we can qualify for any discounts. We have our business vehicles insured through her office, our personal vehicles and home. I really like their customer service!!

10/8/18My opinion ONLY: THE WORST INSURANCE COMPANY POSSIBLE, check out their policy before doing business with them and their rates. We had a property insured with them for 16 years, they are only tooooooooooooooo happy to collect premiums, there were a few claims and all of a sudden I receive a notice IN THE MAIL (TODAY 10/8/1) that the insurance will be cancelled as of 11/7/18. In May after the agent checked on the house, they send a new bill and the rate has gone up to over $4,000.00 we did not file the claim, we paid it ourselves, boom, now it will be cancelled.SORRY, SORRY COMPANY1/6/2019Well Michael, when I received a call from your office, your secretary, she was talking, think you were listening in and all of a sudden you came of the phone.I would say a day late and a dollar short on your excuse for the raise in deductible from $1,000.00 to $4,000.00 and then cancel the policy, I would say there is NOTHING you can do to fix your mistake, I will copy this to BBB.Disgusted with excuses and State Farm,Marilyn
Stay clear of this Michelle DeCarlo Agency. Transferring from one State Farm agency to another due to marriage ... my fiance went to join her policy with mine (both State Farm customers) and Michelle DeCarlo proceeded to harangue her and inform her since the other agent is taking away my money, Im going to make them do all the work... in processing the policy transfer. Rude. Conceded. Entitled. I will be sure to spread the word that there are plenty of polite agents who can help clients no matter the circumstances.
I had a good experience with this State Farm agent. This office staff was able to provide me several different options for coverage on two vehicles. They were helpful in explaining the options and what types of coverage I would have for two vehicles. The overall rate was competitive and provided more coverage than I received with my other provider so I decided to switch my coverage to this State Farm agent.
Going to switch to a different insurance. They have been over charging me every month. Been paying $50 dollars more than what I was quoted. I dont know why they have me paying so much in the first place because the other insurance is half of the 310 they are charging me here. Do not recommend. I am in the process of trying to cancel with them now.
Professional and helpful with setting up a new policy
I have had nothing but issues with this insurance office. State Farm in general is an OK company, but this specific location has given me nothing but headaches. As another reviewer has said, if you want anything changed CORRECTLY you have to go into the office. The only agent that has been helpful and courteous was Bronson, everyone has has either been rude or messed something up along the way. Due to my experience at this office I have recently switched to another company.

I honestly dont want to even take the time to write down all the disappointing experiences Ive had with her office over that 18 years. But the biggest one was them removing the wrong car from my policy (twice) and I couldnt register it because I was apparently driving around as an uninsured motorist according to the department of revenues motor vehicles division. Glad a police officer didnt run my plates....either time. Im a fool for taking so long to changes agents. State Farm is fine. This agent is not.
Michelle has messed up our insurance.my boyfriend didnt have coverage in the state because she forgot to press a button .When we went in to talk to her about it she tried to blame someone else when customer service was on speaker phone letting her know she forgot to press a button to activate the coverage. She acts very eager to get more clients but doesnt put in the work to keep them . We were promised towing and rental coverage and then when we need it we cant use it because it doesnt fit into their fine line of what is coverable. We pay close to 200 a month for nothing. Anytime you go into the office to I can see she takes on too much to actually be productive . We will be dropping asap
I have been with State Farm for over 25 years and have had good experience with them. However, this agent/office is horrible. It is the first time Ive have nothing but problems with a State Farm Agent. They double billed me for a premium and the agent refused to call me to try and get it corrected. Furthermore, her staff were unable to resolve the issue. After much headache, they now issued a refund check and refunded my credit card. They just cant get it right! More headaches to resolve such a simple issue. Im in the process of changing agents because I like State Farm but this agent/office does not meet my expectations.

Being retired requires a sharp awareness about insurance and coverage. Michelle has both, plus she called us to help us save more. She already had our insurance when she called. First time an existing agent actually initiated better rates in our lifetime. Thanks Michelle.
We decided to switch insurance companies because we were paying too much money for our insurance and the care we received. Once our insurance policy was canceled state farm still took out money from our account and now is refusing to pay us the money back in full! I do not recommend getting insurance here!

This agency is garbage. They take forever to get back to phone calls, always mess up policies, and even signed me up for a life insurance policy I didnt want. Youll have to stop by the office if you want something corrected and I just dont have the time for that.You could do a lot better!
Horrible service. They cant do anything without calling StateFarms office, they messed both my and my familys insurance. I would strongly recommend going with another agency. Michelle is just looking to nickel and dime you with everything she can. Her employees are not helpful and they surely do not care about their customers.

I have referred people to Michelle DeCarlo’s agency for years, and am a very happy customer of the DeCarlo agency for the past 2 yrs (total of 5 yrs); I was a happy customer for a few years until I had too many speeding tickets and was not able to retain State Farm as my insurer.During my stint away from Michelle’s office, I used AIG, Progressive, and American Family; all which charged more (even after all of my tickets fell off), and the service was hit’n miss as I’d send an email and it would take 48 – 72 hours before I would hear from my agent.Michelle’s team has always been responsive, informative and very proficient with respect to my policy needs, inquiries. The team even checks in with me to see how I am and if there’s anything they may do for me.As for negative comments, we meet great people in our lifetime and sometimes we just don’t connect well no matter how amazing the other person is.
