This place is phenomenal, I had an event to go to in two days and couldn’t get any one to alter my dress! This lady here literally took my dress and created wonders! She made my blue dress fit perfectly!!! I appreciate this lady so much!!!! Thank you for everything !!!

Mrs. Sandy, the granddaughter of the late Mrs. Esther, provides an excellent service and the alterations which she performs are of great precision! Being from out of state, I was not familiar with any local seamstresses; however, I am very glad that I chose Esthers alterations! I definitely recommend her work! What is even more impressive is the fact that the business and sewing skills have been passed down through many generations in Mrs. Sandys family!

If I could give Vanessa more than 5 stars I would. I dropped my clothes of in the morning and received a surprise call at 3 saying they were ready to be picked up. She said since I was going out of town she wanted me to have my clothes to travel. Great customer service and my dress was perfect! Thank you.

The proprietor was very professional and did a very nice job for me, I was skeptical at first if she was going to do a good job but she really did well. I recommend her 100%.

Dress pants were not hemmed straight. The stitch was bunched up. I had some jeans hemmed and she said she knew how to leave the original hem. I even commented I was surprised how cheap it was given its more work than a regular hem. She gave no inkling to the fact that she had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. She hemmed them like my grandma used to when I was a kid. Cut, fold, sew. She matched the thread but not the stitching. The thread spacing is waay smaller than what are on the rest of the jeans and what were on the original hem, and not straight.Very nice woman, but if you want your jeans done with the original hem dont take them here. $10 alteration is going to cost me $70.

With a sad note and a heavy heart, Esther has passed and it is now run by her daughter. Nonetheless, the quality of work is still superb and the prices remind me of the 1980s.

She absolutely saved my train wreck of a wedding dress, and with short notice! Would highly recommend!
