The young lady who took our clothes is absolutely a breath of fresh air. Plus the cleaners always do a great job.

Only cleaners I trust. They have always taken excellent care of everything Ive taken to them. They seem to go above and beyond and really understand what I need as a customer, which I appreciate very much. I love the girls that work up front, they are very personable and always pleasant when they are helping me. Its just nice to have a great experience with a business even when theyre busy!

Paid 15 dollars to have dog hair removed from a coat. After paying for it I realized the coat was still covered in dog hair. Instead of the Asst. Manager offering to complete the job or give me my money back she gave me instructions on how I could probably fix the issue myself. Dont waste your money at Schickels.
Horrible experience. They gave my (now) husbands suite jacket to someone else a few days before our wedding. Two days before the wedding the said it wasnt ready to pick up and finally the day before the wedding they told us the jacket was given to someone else. There was no urgency to help get the jacket back and they even said they wished we would have told them it was for a wedding. Do they only make sure they dont lose clothing if it is for a wedding? We had scramble to get suite jacket the night before the wedding and get the alterations completed. Fair to say we will never use this company again!

Bad customer service! Been there twice looking for the seamstress and the guy who was working at the front didnt help...he seemed to not care! Im glad I checked out the reviews... Im not going to waste my time going there again! Sorry for the business owner 😏
BE AWARE! I dropped off 4 pairs of pants to be hemmed. I instructed them not to press any of the pants after alterations as this leaves a permanent crease in them. I took 2 pairs of jeans to be hemmed several months ago and asked them to not press them as well. Even though the nice lady that does alterations made notes both times on the receipt not to press, they pressed them anyways. The first two pair of jeans still have permanent creases on them and white lines down the front of the legs. I was disappointed but I did not say anything the first time. This second go around I made it very clear again DO NOT PRESS. It was noted on my receipt again. However, when I picked them up, all the items had prominent creases down the legs. This time I brought it to the attention of management. They said they would try to get them out. After several days and a weekend, I returned to pick them up. Two pairs of the jeans were ever so slightly better, but the dress pants and another pair of jeans were still very badly creased. Im a pretty easy customer and said I would take the two that were slightly better but the other two were not acceptable. I was told I could possibly receive monetary compensation for the two pairs of pants but the owner would first have to look at them. I was asked to provide receipts for the purchase of the two pair I wanted compensation for. I instructed them that I did not have receipts for them. I knew about how much I paid for each pair and relayed this information. They said they probably would not pay that much as I could not prove it and also because even though each pair had never been worn as I was waiting to have them hemmed, I could not prove that they were brand new. I was told that I could not take my pants until the owner came in to look at them and decided on an amount of compensation. I was told that after that, it may take several weeks for a check to arrive in the mail. I called today to see if I could pick up my property as the owner was supposed to come in last Friday. I was told that he had not come in and that I could not have my property back if I accepted monetary compensation for their error. It was unsettling to me to just now be presented this info. My choice was to surrender my property to Schickels Cleaners for a probable lesser amount than what I paid and then have to go out and replace those items on my own time. Not only was I going to be out money, have to give them my property, I would then have to go shopping again in hopes to find those items again. I instructed them on the phone that I would like to pick up my pants and be done with this whole ordeal. When I picked them up, I told them I didnt feel it was right that they got to keep my property. I asked what would happen if they damaged something of real sentimental value to me like a 40 year old college letterman jacket of my fathers. They said if they damaged it and I wanted monetary compensation, I would have to give them the jacket! What would keep this business from deliberately damaging something of great value, and without proof of purchase from the customer, offering their own assed value at a much lower price, and then keeping the item for themselves? I instructed them I would not give them my items for their error. They offered store credit but I declined and said that I did not want to come back to their establishment. They responded by saying OK. Their incompetence to read the notes written down, follow customers wishes, and to provide satisfactory customer service when they make an error is unsettling. Not only did they lose me as a customer for life over only 2 pairs of pants, they lost all the business of my family members. I understand people/businesses make mistakes. It wasnt the initial mistake that made this so bad, its how this business responded and their policy that lost me as a customer. If you have something of value to you and you dont mind giving to them if they do something to it you specifically request not having done...DONT GO TO SCHICKELS CLEANERS.
Seamstress is rude, dishonest, and incompetent. After giving explicit instructions to this person and waiting a week the job was done incorrectly and then the person lied about what I wanted. Go somewhere else.

Dishonest service. Requested press only service for 4 shirts and 3 sports jackets and they charged $46! It wouldve been cheaper if I did regular dry cleaning according to the rep. But guess what? They didnt educate me during point of sale, before I dropped of the garments. They told me this after I paid. Dont go here if you want to save your hard earned money.

Very rude customer service and I think they are borderline prejudice prices change all the my clothes would be damaged buttons broken etc trust me this is the LAST PLACE you should go!!!!!!!
