Not sure where to even start. I know someone who lives there and has consistently had water over flow from her water heater area. All they keep doing is snake it and give her a big fan to dry. Also, does not help pay for the electricity that the fan uses. Than constantly has maintenance looking in her windows so no privacy. This place is a joke!
Im not sure exactly where to begin. A friend of mine and I went to go fill out an application here and got told three different excuses of why we were denied after being told they would work with us and did everything that we could to prove that we were valuable and reliable tenants they still seem to treat us like we were trash. I was required to put down a deposit on a apartment so my friend and I ran to the store to get a money order to do so and spent almost two to three weeks dealing with the runarounds of why we were denied the apartment we were shown. First off we were told that we didnt make enough even though we made well over three times the rent and had shown them proof. Secondly this claim that I was evicted even though I never was from my current home and they required I show proof so I did and it still was not good enough. Third of all they claim yet again we couldnt afford to live there because my roommate had just changed jobs as we explained to them that we can bring in the letter showing how much he made in his hours and they said they would approve it and work with us so we drove clear across town to his job to do so for them to ignore us for a week and denied our application yet again so I go in there to ask them for my deposit back and they told me it would be mailed to me and I am still sitting here waiting almost a month later and now they are screening my phone calls and ignoring my messages so more than likely this will be going to court if it was possible I wouldnt even be giving them one star I would not recommend renting here and if they tell you to put down a deposit so they will hold the apartment dont do it until the day you move in there theyll keep it and not return it or your phone calls just ridiculous.
I don’t know where to start except the the 1st day I moved in I heard dripping water hitting the ceiling, mind you it had been raining for a few days prior. I am on the 3rd floor. When I called maintenance they showed up & the maintenance man said he didn’t hear anything & of course by that time There were no dripping sounds. One thing the maintenance man did do is stand on the kitchen counter and place his hands on the ceiling & the whole kitchen ceiling moved. I stated that doesn’t seem right. I was told if I hear the dripping sound again to report to maintenance.Low and behold a Week later when it rained off & on. I had just came back from a Lyft trip when I realized my curtain rods had been left in the vehicle. I’m in the living room with lights off in a folding chair, Near the balcony because at the time there was no furniture in the apt. In the mist of me communicating with the Lyft, I heard something drop, sounded like a heavy purse, and I thought I don’t recall putting anything On The counter. Immediately after, there was a loud/bang type noise that caused me to jump & take my phone and turn it to the area in the dining kitchen area. Only to see with horror that the ceiling had fallen. I am very thankful I wasn’t hurt or injured.I immediately contacted maintenance & I was hysterical and closed myself off in the bedroom. When arrived I told the maintenance man that I believe it is due to water forming. The maintenance man touches a piece of the ceiling and it crumbles in his hands. Proceeds to tell me it will be cleaned up the following day & that the dry wall didn’t appear wet, so he isn’t sure how this happened. When the maintenance left I looked up under where the section of ceiling fell, & I could see an outline of wetness along the edges of the ceiling and could clearly see the section that fell was wet as well.I went to the main office the next day after I got out of dialysis treatment & spoke to all staff present in office. I immediately told them that there is most likely a whole somewhere in the roof top. I was told that it was most likely a cable man/person that put cable up and fell, and overtime the area has gave away. I asked when did the cable person put the cable up? I was told it could be a few days, to weeks that the cable had been installed. At that moment I was perplexed & was reassuring that I was going to be taken care of. & what did I expect from A 50 yr old building.I should have said this but didn’t.......(I expect up keep and a safe environment to dwell in especially since I am a Lupus Warrior & a dialysis patient)It took a week before the section of the ceiling was fixed. This was on a Friday & by the following Monday, I heard dripping in the same spot the ceiling had fallen prior. I had to call maintenance a second time because I was afraid that ceiling would collapse again. This time I was distraughtly historical & the person told me to calm & I stated why don’t you live here then. Of course it was documented & maintenance did come out, but was brief & he did recognize he too could hear dripping noises, and could see a light layer of wet ness reforming in the are that had been fixed. It took one more call & three additional weeks to have the problem solved by an outside party that told me the issue was on the ridge of the roof. There was an ample size hole that was there. Never Did anyone apologize.I am still a current resident I have mixed feelings on the idea of choosing to live here. I have been here for a year & 4months. I resigned a 2nd lease I’m trying to give this place a chance, & now I have issues with roaches, due to a neighbor’s neglect & when that neighbor moved out that’s when They appeared. There is an awful urine pungent, nauseous smell that comes from that apartment. Even though I saw a small crew changing the carpet in the apartment the pungent strong order still seeps in the Hallway, & into my apt. I asked for additional spraying, no response, just crickets.
For the lodge apartments to accommodate dogs is my favorite part about it and the fact that the pet owners are responsible and clean up after their pets. Its wonderful.
I have lived in the lodge for 4 years. It has been a great experience! Maintenance has been awesome at coming in a timely manner. The staff has always been great and understanding and working well with me. I would highly recommend the Lodge apartment as your home!
THEY SCAMMED ME. Put in an application for an apartment and a deposit to hold it. They didn’t hold it, told me they had another apartment available in September but I had to be moved by the end of August, told them that wouldn’t work for me. When I called to get my deposit back they said they could only give me half because I didn’t let them know “within the first three days” of the application approval, when in fact, I let them know BEFORE MY APPLICATION WAS APPROVED. I STILL HAVEN’T GOTTEN MY HALF OF THE DEPOSIT. It’s been over a month.
Very nice place to live and raise a small family. The office staff are amazing. Maintenance is wonderful and the rent is very reasonable. I love these apartments. Pet friendly and theres even a dog park. 2 pools. It is just GREAT
Cant wait to move in. The complex looks wonderful and I think I will be very happy. Thanks for the opportunity. Im very happy with the new appartment and the experience these first few months have been great. Thanks...
Grew up here as a kid, area for kids, has gym, pool, and a park right across the street from thw complex.
If you like to feel like your walking on rocks through your home then this place is for you! When I looked at the place I’m on second floor, there were soft spots all over in the floor. I mentioned it to the lady and she said the apartments were built a long time ago, that was Saturday, Monday I got a call that they were replacing the carpet in the apartment and I asked if they were going to fix the floors and she said yes. I moved in and I have had to put carpets and runners down just so I don’t fall into the walls when I walk down the hallway. Not at all happy! If you want a nice apartment I wouldn’t recommend renting here.
No upkeep of property,my carpet was never shampooed and they never rectified the problem yet added a clause to my lease that they chrg.100 move out fee for carpet shampooing🤔🤔lmao do not vac.hall/stairs they use a broom no dustpan,to move dirt around, and into your apt under doors.Fix things? Is that a crime here😂hike rent, dont send out until.bill properly .trash & ignorant pet owners(no fault of pets) poop! all over.
Im not quite sure where all the negativity is coming from so Ill put in my two cents.I lived there for about 8 months, just moved out a couple weeks ago due to a new job. The place was great. My fridge, stove, and dish washer worked wonderfully. The furnace did its job and it was all electrical which was nice.I only needed one repair while I was there and that was the knob for the shower. Put in a ticket at their website and they had it done in a couple of days. (It wasnt an emergency so that worked.) One time the washer and dryer downstairs had its power cable cut off, I have no idea why, but it was fixed in a couple of days as well.I really enjoyed it there. I didnt see anything wrong with the place and it was easy to move out.
I love Lodge apartment because they are the best people ever. The time I lived there if I had any problem they would take care of it right the way.❤️
The apartments fail in comparison to what is advertised. I can’t wait for my lease to be up so I can move!!!! The staff would rather give excuses then do a quality job. Come out and look at the outside of the buildings. They are rotted and falling apart in many places.
Ive been here for almost 2 years. Its close to my job and they shave always worked with me. I had a bad experience one time but maintenance has definitely stepped up their game. I always recommend this place when people are looking for a place to live.
Lived here for two years. Rent increases every 3-4 months and they have 3 pools but only one is active and available for use. two buildings are full of drug addicts. Garage prices are a rip off because the locks do not work on the doors. Neighbors are not friendly and crime rate is high.
When I reviewed this place two years ago, things werent great, but manageable. After our lease was up we switched from month-to-month, and the rent was raised about 30-50 (reasonable increase imo). Two months later, they tried raising the rent ANOTHER 50 dollars. Their reasoning was current market values, but paying almost 750 per month when we were originally paying 590 three years ago was too high of an increase (we have since moved out).
New management is light years ahead of previous. You can actually get ahold of them. Request are taken care of in a timely manner.
Love it
I never see the staff which works I guess. The furnace in my apartment makes funny noises and hasnt been inspected since 2003. I think is a fire hazard. The dish washer is as old as my parents. The maintenance folks wont fix the toilet. And no one is in the office when I need to pick up a package. The apartment they rented us is not the nice shiny sample apartment. I guess is my fault for getting taken in.
ALL THE GOOD REVIEWS ON HERE ARE FAKE!! DONT BELIEVE THEM!! i lived in these apts for 6 months and that was more than long enough. Run down, lots of drugs dealers living there. Police constantly there. Lots of ghetto people. Horrible place to live which is surprising considering its location.
Moved from out of state. Chose The Lodge bc its one of the only places that allows large dog breeds. That is the ONLY positive aspect of this dump. The office staff and maintenence are nice people. Management is hit or miss depending on what youre calling in regards to. If its to complain about something expect to get snarky attitudes. People dont pick up after their dogs even though tenants are threatened a $50 fine for not complying. Ive called the office about this issue and they basically told me they cant do anything but put up notes asking people to pretty please follow the rules. Our first apartment on garden level flooded heavily. We tried to move and work with management to get out of the lease due to what we considered unsafe living conditions (wet electrical plugs, water leaking through ceiling lighting fixtures, mold) and we were told that would break the lease and they would have to disclose that to future land lords. So to avoid issues with future renting we agreed to move into a new apartment within the complex and it is just as bad. People yell and scream and slam doors at all hours of the night. Ive seen drug fueled temper tantrums which at one point included a car chase. Frequently have people fighting out in the lawn or parking lot screaming at eachother in front of God and everybody. The cops are at this complex EVERY single day. Ive found needles in the lawn. Hallways always smell like pot. Cigarette butts ALL over the place. I do not smoke and we end up with cigarette butts all over our deck bc our upstairs neighbors obviously werent raised right. Laundry room has open electrical boxes. Ive had packages stolen off of our door step. There is litter and trash all over the place. Ive found condom wrappers in the laundry room. When Ive called the office to have someone come clean it it took them over 3 months (& unfortunatly that is not an exaggeration). Someone hit our garage door with their car so hard it dented the garage door so badly we could not open the door. It took over 2 months to replace. We paid full price for 1 of the 2 months for a garage that was useless. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. They need some serious help cleaning this place up from the physical trash on the ground to the trash that lives in the building.
Huge cockroaches. Thick layers of paint falling off of everything. Managers are rude and judgemental....neighbors constantly playing loud music and nothing is done about it. Worst place to ever live, especially with kids
This place is the worst place I have ever rented. I lived here for a year and a half and every time it rained my apartment flooded and to get them in there to suck up water is like pulling teeth. You call the maintenance on the weekend and they tell you that its not an emergency. Hot water tank went out in my apartment and it took them a week to replace it so my child and I did without hot water for 5 days. They left a mess in my kitchen and scraped up the kitchen floor which they charged me for. Dishwasher was leaking under the wood floor in the kitchen and they refused to come fix it. The management is fair but the two young ladies that show the apartments and draw up your lease are rude and nasty. Ants are a pest in these apartments as well as roaches. They constantly raise your rent and more than once a year. They are poorly managed and when they do fix something its jerry rigged. They claim to have 3 pools but only one is working. When asked when the other two were going to be fixed its the same story, we are working on it. They have been saying that for over two years and still nothing has been done about the pools. The gym is always broke and the tanning bed is broke. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!! THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!
When we got here the hardly cleaned it and the floor smells like rotten feet and we have washed it 3 times and the smell wont go away because they didnt car about are apartment are stove handle broke off are dishwasher hardly cleans are dishes and a wheel fell off of the cart honestly 2 pools a tanning bed and a gym is not worth it if you have to live like this one of the pools tiles fell of and someone got blamed
I didt get to live here and I still have had such a bad experience that im compelled to write a review. Me and a friend applied here on May 9th and have yet to approved to move in. We were told we could move in as soon as we were approved, saying it wouldnt be long. So we put a $250 deposit down plus $30 for two app fees. two weeks later I had to call the office six times to tell them that we cannot wait any longer to move in, so they are taking half of our deposit and our application fees for doing basically nothing but leading us on. The lessons here are 1. Do not live here 2. dont put a deposit down in good faith because they will just slow play you long enough that you will have to look somewhere else to live. That way they make $155 for doing nothing. $125 for half of the deposit and two application fees.
I lived there for a year and a half in a basement apartment and it was a total nightmare. Every-time it rained or snow melted the living room would flood, and the incompetent staff would take over a month to respond to our requests. When they did they wouldnt give 24 hour notice, and were very rude. Me and my wife started getting sick from the mold. We took videos of the flooding and mold and they still had the balls to blame the flooding smell on our cats. You can make up you own mind but I would never recommend them to anyone, especially if youre getting a basement apartment.
Absolutely awful. Office staff is rude, maintenance only has two men and they do not get much done. I asked for a ceiling fan since my ac was broken for two weeks. It took the maintenance guy three seperate days to install it. When they were done, they left a huge mess and tools every where. It is a joke. The people- my neighbors door has been kicked in for about two months. He had the scariest people in and out of his place at all hours. My hall smells like weed all day, everyday. Stairway smells like urine. I think half the people are crackheads. Yesterday I saw a woman hiding behind a tree (in broad daylight) holding a box of cornflakes.... no idea what that was about. Very ghetto people.People dont pick up after their dogs. They claim to have three working pools. Right now it is one working pool. Everytime I drive by the pool that works, there are fifty little kids with no supervision. No thank you! When I asked the office lady about getting the others fixed, she told me maintenance probably wouldnt get to it this summer? This place is a joke. I wouldnt rent here.
Always fights in the hallways, drugs every where and mold covered on windows. No one picks up their dogs waste and it gets very tiring.
Lived her for 1year. Rent was cheap but wasnt worth it. Hallways smell like drugs, cops are constantly here all day everyday. Not a good place to live or if you have kids.
Oh hell no!!! The staff mean and ugly. They say they have three pools and they only have one pool. Ive lived there for six years. DO NOT EVER AND I MEAN EVER LIVE THERE!
I wouldnt recommend renting here...
The office people are very rude
This place is a joke.
