They came out to repair the handle on my freezer door that kept coming off. The technician (I use the term loosely) attempted to fix the problem and ended up scratching the stainless steel where the handle attaches to the freezer. Then he asked if I was satisified with the repair. I told him I wasnt sure because there was no way of knowing if the handle would fall off in the future. His reply was if it comes off again, just call us back. Then he opened the refrigerator door to get the serial number and dented the door which I didnt notice until he left. So I called Advanced Appliance back to notify them of the damage and after some runaround they replaced the door. I admit I was happy about that but when the same guy came out to install the new door, he rushed through and forgot a part from the damaged door. I didnt notice it until he left when I opened the door and I could see right away he forgot a plastic sleeve that luckily was in the damaged door that fortunately he left. I consider myself fairly handy and installed the sleve myself rather than calling them back.Unfortunately, the freezer handle still comes off when when you open the freezer door so I called GE for another service call and insisted that they not send Advanced Appliance! My advice is never call Advanced Appliance to repair your appliances.

They called at 8:15 AM to tell me Michael would be out between 10-12. He arrived at 10:01! Good start. He then began to install the defective part in my microwave and fix a rattling sound made by the fan. Perfect! Then he even solved issues which GE could not even address. Even more perfect!Bottom line, Advanced Appliance far exceeded all my expectations, and just as important to me, treated us with respect; qualities which are becoming more rare.If I ever have issues again with any appliance, they are my first choice!

For starters when I called to set the appointment it took four days for someone to come what I thought was to repair my GE washing machine butt no they were only there to diagnose the problem I was told buy the tech they dont carry Parts on their trucks they would have to order a new door switch which will take an additional 3 to 5 days, and I miss another days work. the reason for a two-star review is because the tech was quick was only here in 10 minutes tops

Mike repaired a new GE double oven that was on warranty. After working on a light issue in the lower oven, it was discovered the malfunctioning bulb was in the upper oven. This involved taking the oven out and starting over. He was very polite, and completed the 2nd repair efficiently. I was very impressed with his professionalism. Everything is working and I am grateful to have had such great service. Id given more stars if I could!

An employee came out to look at my dishwasher which was not working. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and knew what had to be done.The receptionist was courteous and helpful as well.

We have a BOSCH dishwasher that had an issue. we had several people look at. After dealing with a few other companies we called Advanced Appliance. Great service and Mike spent a long time here and tracked down the issue. He was very knowledgeable. Great service and Great company.

Advance Appliance is a company that I have been using for years now. I would never go with any else. I have used them at both of my grandparents homes. They treated both sets of grandparents like family. The techs came in were extremely friendly and helpful. They had explain the whole process to them. They were even honest with us the washer part was a little high and they recommended to just buy new and not to fix the part. They have always called right back to scheduled to come in I have never had to wait longer then a few days for them to come out.

Their techs are dedicated to their work. They are very knowledgeable and very honest; Id rather work with someone whod level with me over someone who says what they think I want to hear any day. The impression I got was that every customer counts, out-of-pocket or warranty.

I would like to give negative stars if possible. Also went through Lowes to have my 1 1/2 year Bosch dishwasher fixed. Then man who was nice came out only to look at my machine, he didnt even pull it out from under the counter top and said he had no idea what the display reading meant even though that was clearly stated when I called and reported the issue and on his sheet when he came out. He also told me that the techs havent been been paid in 2weeks so he would be seeing them all that afternoon at the office to make sure that they were being paid and he can ask someone there what the meaning of the error code meant. I really think that was the reason that he didnt want to touch my machine b/c he may not get paid. I called and reported this to Lowes asking to send out another company that isnt going to waste my time b/c I work too and cannot stay home for nothing and to make sure that they let advance appliance know not to order anything for my machine. Well they did send out a fabulous company today, Bill and Rods, who are GREAT but advance appliance still called me to schedule another visit and when I told the lady on the phone what happened last week she had the nerve to call me a liar! She said I was making up the whole story b/c I was upset that he didnt fix my dishwasher and that he did diagnose the issue and ordered parts, which is so funny b/c like I said he did nothing and wasnt here for more than 5 min and I full warranty with Lowes and I am confident that the issues will be resolved. The BEST part is Bill and Rods said that it is not even repairable b/c its leaking and damaged from the seals in the back of the machine and Lowes will be replacing the entire machine. I called Lowes and reported the entire thing and asked them to NEVER send Advance Appliance to a customers home again since this is how they treat Lowes customers. I am disgusted by them completely.

Definitely would highly recommend them. Have had them out on 2 different occasions and both times they took care of my dryer problems. Very professional and courteous. Wouldnt hesitate to call on them again.

Poor customer service. The techs that came to the house did not seem to know what they were doing . we have to keep having them come back for the same issues. And they dont keep the appointments that they schedule. It takes weeks for them to come back with the parts.

Good luck with your repair! I have warranty on my appliance and the manufacturer sent Advanced to to replace my freezer door. The repair man was very unprofessional and did a terrible job replacing my door . When I pointed out the issues before he left, I was told to contact the manufacturer! Upon further inspection, I noticed that he ripped the lining in the door and simply did not transfer parts that were suppose to be reused in the new door. I called Advanced about the issues and their customer service sucks! I can not believe this is the company that big appliance manufacturers use for their repairs. They must give a huge discount and it shows in the quality of service! Dealing with Advance - specifically the Lincoln Park location is a huge headache and Im not even the person fronting the repair bill (its under warranty) !
