Months ago a tech look at the washer came and order the wrong parts. Three big boxes got delivered and were in my house for two months. the second set of techs came order a second set of parts and did not take the three big boxes from the first order. A month later three more boxes came so I had 6 big boxes in my basement. Finally the techs came and fixed the washer they said they couldnt take the parts that were order wrong and the old parts. Not really a great experience. I wonder what a waste the parts they were order wrong.

I bought a craftsman riding lawn mower w it’s an extra two year warranty. When I needed to get it fixed I was told there us not a model number or serial number on the mower therefore they could not fix it I have talked to 29 people over three days no one can help me I was even told by one employee that I was screwed if there is not a modelNumber of serialNumber in the mower I will never go into a sears or Kmart again as long as I live. I hope you don’t make the same mistake. I had the invoice, warranty agreement and still no help.

Technician Jonathon #722165 was wonderful. He showed me a lot of things about my refrigerator and was very informative. He was extremely thorough and explained what he was doing and how to take care of my fridge. Should I have need of any future refrigerator needs, I will most certainly request this tech.

Kevin, the Sears Service Consultant was timely, professional and explained the required repair and the parts needed to complete the furnace repair. He also discussed the timeline in which the repairs would take place, pending securing the required parts.I truly appreciated the quality of his work and would request him for any future furnace maintenance required. I would also recommend Sears Service to my neighbors and friends.Sears and Roebuck had serviced the Detroit Metro area for years, its good to know, even mergers and consolidations have occurred, some things have not changed, excellent professional service!🙂Lucille

The technician determined that my GE refrigerator needs a new thermostat, which he said may be unavailable for this model GE.. So far (10 days after) I have heard nothing by way of follow-up. New thermostat or voucher for replacement refrigerator??

I’ve used Sears in-home service for appliances, but wasn’t aware that Sears offered on-site service for outdoor equipment as well. Our snowblower is a beast, which would’ve made it challenging, at best, to take in for service. The serviceman’s name was Cass. He was prompt, professional, informative and friendly. He did an outstanding job, and the cost was quite reasonable. Thank you Sears, and Cass!

The technician was great but the service provide by Sears was horrible. I purchased an extended warranty for my fridge but when it completely broke down in the middle of Aug. it took Sears 10 days to get a technician to my house. The warranty cost nearly as much as the fridge. Sears needs hire technicians at the same rate they acquire extended warranties. I will not purchase anything through Sears ever again. I just bought a Kitchen Aid bundle for a 2nd home and it wasnt through Sears.

I wish I could recall our service techs name, (maybe Derrick?) but hewas very nice and very efficient. Arrived on time, took care of the two things we needed fixed on our Kenmore fridge and asked if he could assist further in any way.A very good experience; couldnt have asked for anything more.The only remaining question is, Why didnt I call sooner? :-)

Sears home appliance repair is an awesome service!! I really hope they never go out of business, because its always very easy to schedule an appointment for someone who can usually come out the very next day. My issue was resolved and the tech even spotted another problem with the washer that was unrelated to my original problem and he got that fixed too!! I highly recommend Sears Appliance Repaie for all your appliance needs.

The service technicians that came to the house were great. The repair, parts and warranty departments that I dealt with on the phone were awful. The wait on hold times were very long, the people who answer the phone do not speak very good english. They like to blame each others departments and transfer you back and forth instead of helping you. It took over a month to get my 3 1/2 year old fridge fixed.

This is the worst service Ive ever received from Sears. It took a week to get an appointment. The day of the appointment, I called and asked them to call my cell number when a repairman was on his way to my home. I never received a call. When I got home, a service repairman did indeed come to my home. I was furious. Turns out their computer system was down for two days; therefore, they can no communication with the repairman. Got an emergency appointment two days later. Repairman did come and made a repair, BUT MY FREEZER IS STILL NOT MAKING ICE! Called to get a new appointment and I have to wait a week for that. Ive been without ice going on two weeks now.

Durell, the a.c. tech was fabulous. He fixed our air conditioner when two previous techs from different companies said it couldnt be fixed and would need to be replaced. He said hed try to fix it and if it didnt work, then it may need to be replaced. His repair worked and I hope we dont have to replace it since the unit isnt that old. He didnt hesitate to try where others just charged us for the call, replaced a fuse and hoped wed buy a new unit from them.

I had requested Sears to perform preventive maintenance service on my up-right freezer. I was scheduled for a 4 hour block, Sears contacted me the day prior and the service technician called when they were on their way. They performed the preventive maintenance in a professional manner and checked everything out, including the drain inside of the cabinet. I recommend Sears service.

Service was good. Freezer is still broken. Have to wait 2 weeks for another try at fixing it. It only took 30 minutes to tell me i needed a $500 compressor. 3 hrs to put it it. The freezer works the same as it did b4 the $500 compressor. I feel like somebody got ripped off!!!! ME.

My dryer wasnt heating properly -- he showed me that the flame was on and cycling properly and said everything was normal. Paid the $80 fee and he left. Ran a load of laundry and the dryer still did not get hot enough to dry the clothes.He never took the machine apart to check that all of the components were functioning properly, because, as I eventually discovered myself, it was the improper function of one of the two solenoids that was causing the gas valve to not open all the way.The technician was polite and Im sure it was just an oversight.

Not pleased. Scheduled an appointment online for a 9a-1p window. Got close to end of window so checked online and appt had been pushed to 130-330 window, with no notice to me. Checked again later in that window and now had been pushed back AGAIN, to 345-545 with no notification. If I had wanted the 1-5 window, I would have selected that... why offer a time slot if you cannot guarantee it?? I had an appointment to go to at 430 AND stayed home from work for the day waiting for the repair. Chatted with Sears and they wanted to reschedule for the next day!!!! Totally unacceptable when it is after 2pm and I had a 9-1 window AND stayed home from work. Technician finally arrived after 330, and I was still charged a diagnostic fee even though I TOLD HIM WHAT WAS WRONG! There was an article of clothing stuck under tub and I needed tub removed. There was absolutely NO diagnosing on his part. Will never use Sears for any type of repair EVER again!!!!

Are you kidding me? It was NOT REPAIRED. The job was marked as COMPLETE by the technician. I have already filled out an online survey and now I am getting another one. In review, I took a day of work off..... Your tech never came and told you guys he did.... You send me another survey by mistake. Im not very happy...I called service because I noticed what looked like black mold in my dishwasher. The service man said the problem was that the drain basket was plugged...OK. We were told to run the dishwasher with vinegar in it to remove the mold...OK...neither things helped. The dishes are wet when I go to empty the dishwasher...this seems to be the problem...the water sits in the dishwasher and mold forms from it being there...it doesnt seem to be hard to understand to me...seems like simple chemistry. As far as the drain basket, I dont put dishes in the dishwasher without scraping them so Im not sure why that basket should be clogged but I gave it a try...unsuccessful! Theyre sending someone out again tomorrow...sure hope we have better luck then!

I am not sure the repair was diagnosed correctly, a broken timer knob was found and replaced with another of my own knobs, and when used that knob broke also. I believe there is something wrong with the control timer device itself that keeps it from turning easily.

This is my 4 time to have someone out here and it has not worked in a month I very unhappy every time I call it takes one to two weeks to get someone back out here so you need better trained service people who can do all parts of the washer

Well.......I guess if you count the tech spending maybe 25 minutes for a cleaning and maintenance check satisfactory then your doing good. Not to mention, I had to catch him before he started to leave. He said I knocked 3 times, and no one answered. Wasnt the most pleasant with his reasoning as well. Maybe I didnt here him, with 2 young boys running around the house. But......I did knew he was coming, and I did receive a courtesy call prior to him getting to my home. Plus, he really didnt put much effort cleaning the felt from the dryer. Now my lint catcher doesnt line up as well as it did before he finished, ( not too bad, but it is noticeable). Guess I wasted the money I just spent to re-new my warranty.

Originally scheduled for June 27th between 1 and 4 no one showed up had to call at 6 p.m. to reschedule for Friday Friday came repair man came 8 hour before scheduled time I was not there had to reschedule a third time all is well Date: June 9,2017, CHUCK CAME & REPARED MY RIDING TRACTOR, this man is a keeper, he finished the job not done properly on May 22. My ice maker is working! the repair person came during the time window and once determining the problem ordered the part needed and returned within hours and did the job quickly and efficiently. He could see that I was disappointed in the cost and suggested I look on line for a coupon. I SAVED MONEY I had decided never to use Sears service again. His advise and repair work made me change my mind. I was going to cross Kenmore appliances of my list of replacement purchases too. again I changed my mind. I have almost all Kenmore appliances and they have served me well.
