Stopped Sunday at 930a. This place has 3 bays and 2 of them were open. They seemed to have plenty of staff, which is refreshing... we waited in line less than 10 minutes. Our oil change took around 15 minutes and they honored my VIOC app coupon. The staff were polite and friendly. I would return to this location.
They were awesome! First time Ive had to have the oil changed since my husband past. They were friendly and helpful.
I usually get great service at this location but that wasn’t the case for my most recent visit. There was one individual that clearly did not want to be there and it showed. Once they were finished he showed me the dip stick and somehow the oil shot back at my face and got on my shirt. No apologies whatsoever. Soon after I asked if he could check my tire pressure. Which I thought they did that anyways but didn’t this time for some reason. While he was filling one of the tires, he asked his buddy what time it was and began to curse. Saying he can’t wait to go ******* home. After I left I noticed he input my mileage wrong. He was off 100k. Not sure if that even matters but it just shows that he did not care. I must however give props to the girl on staff that was actually helpful. She checked the car’s fluids and noticed the coolant was way above the fill line. There was nothing they could do for me there but it was still nice to know so I can take it to a shop. Though, I’m pretty sure that another Valvoline filled up my coolant at an earlier visit. Overall my visit was not a good one.

Will not stand behind their work Did not put splash guard back on properly after oil change. Started dragging the ground in less than 10 miles. Would not pay to replace the two damaged plastic parts that each are under $100. DO NOT USE!
Be sure to take a picture of the oil drain plug before you go in! If you dont, you wont have proof that they were the ones who damaged your vehicle. They will blame anyone but themselves for the rounded off drain plug, and then send you on your way saying they cant change your oil.Before you let them know that you took a picture just before arriving - record them telling you that the drain plug was already messed up when you drove in.This happened to me and it just happened to my kids dad. Hopefully it does not happen to you, but if it does now you know how to prove the truth and how to force them to take responsibility for their actions.
I was in line like everybody else. My car was service on time, but my most significant issues is the Sticker. I feel thats misleading and deceptive business. You need oild change every 3000 miles with regular oil. up to 5000 miles with Synthetic Blend and up to 10000 miles with full Synthetic, but they print a 3000 miles reminder regardless of the oil type. I think thats misleading and deceptive. Its psychological game they playing. Once you see the mileage on dashboard reached they know you will return for oil change.
Employees were very unprofessional had no clue what was going on in the line. Talking politics and on their cell phones while they are supposed to be working on your car not paying attention at all. I felt something was not right after I left and went to the car dealership to have them check and very glad I did my oil filter was not on tight. I was leaking oil. I definitely will not be going back. If you value your vehicle do not take it here. When I called and spoke with the manager he just disregard everything I stated and took no ownership of his team mistake. Which could of costed me my car.

Okay, so I honestly dont have the heart to give them less than 5 stars. The staff here is stellar and they are great at their jobs, training, and customer service. I have brought 5 different vehicles here over the years. I am just not happy about the new charges for top off service. I need an oil change right now, and am sitting here looking for options, even though I really just want to bring it here. I felt compelled to give this review. I really wish they had never changed this feature.
Very helpful, Ive got a 93 pickup, that tests the limits, the manager was right on target, they got the oil out so I could see how dark and looked for metal shavings, figured it needed high milage oil..out the door in no time! And it didnt cost me an arm and a leg...lol

For years Ive been going to the location in Liberty. I went in the other night to get oil topped off between oil changes. They have recently been bought out by corporate. They have now changed the policy for between oil changes they charge now for oil and fluid top offs which is always been a perk and one of the reasons Ive always been a loyal customer. I think Ill take my business elsewhere now

Very professional. Didnt try to sell me a bunch of extra stuff that I neither want or can afford at the time. They tried to help me fix a light on my dash that stays on to long after I start my car without me even asking. I will definitely be taking my suv there again as I am new to liberty and was looking for a decent place to maintanence my suv. I would recommend to anybody.

They told me they had pulled out the transmission dipstick and that the transmission fluid had floaties. Later, when I was doing some maintenance on my vehicle I found that they had not re-inserted the transmission dipstick. They replaced my transmission free of charge when I told them, and I figured that would be the end of it. The next time I went in for an oil change, my check engine light came on on the way home. They had disconnected part of the vacuum system and forgotten to reconnect it. If you go here make sure to double check everything yourself before you get off the lot. Otherwise you may end up with a very costly problem on your hands.

They didnt honor the discount they sent me. I didnt notice they didnt apply it until I pulled out. They said the couldnt apply it once the transaction had already occurred. Any other place Ive been to will honor a discount or at least apply the discount for future purchases to keep your business.

First and last time. I came here for a vehicle safety inspection. Waited in line for half an hour, pulled into the third bay, and asked for a safety inspection. They said I should have been greeted when I pulled onto the lot and informed that only one bay was dedicated to that. I wasnt lucky enough to guess that one. No signs indicated this. To get back in line for that bay they estimated a 1.5 hour wait. I decided to stick with scheduled appointments.The second star is for the valuable life lesson this taught me: Dont waste time with anything youre not sure of.

October 30th 2019 we arrived @ 7:05am with no other customer insight. Now its 7:53 and just leaving. The simple 15min oil change took them this long. Poor customer service. Wont be back!

I was there before open and just had to wait until they were open and I got right in. They showed me the actual air filter and cabin filter to verify how dirty they were before I committed that they should be changed. I love how they show you the dip stick to verify that it is full.Staff is extremely friendly. I usually go to the Kia dealership for oil changes and maintenance. I will be back to this Valvoline from here in out.
Do NOT go here if you care at all about your car. I found out after my oil change that they discarded the bolts for my skip plate and zip tied it back on. I returned to the N Oak location to have it fixed and after telling me about a former employee who stole all their zip ties, had me pull in the car and said they replaced all the bolts except one that didnt have anything left to thread to. After leaving, I discovered half of the zip ties still in place and the skip plate damaged badly. Im frustrated about the poor workmanship, but furious I was lied to by the staff who said they were fixing it. Ive never had such a consistently poor experience with a company. DO NOT risk your car with these people.Update: I called the number in the response, repeated the story, and told someone would call me the next day with an official response. That was over a month ago. DO NOT go here.
If youre annoyed with having to wait around a dealership for 2 hours while they try to squeeze you in for an oil change, here is your answer. It may be a few more bucks than your basic budget oil change, but to me the convenience is worth more than a few bucks. Its a lightning fast, drive-thru oil change and you literally dont even have to exit your car.They even take out the air filter and cabin air filter in front of you to see if they need replaced. None of the old trick of grabbing an old dirty filter they have sitting around and shoving it in your face and commanding you to buy a new one. And they reset the oilThis was my first time here and I will continue to go back any time I need a simple, quick oil change.
Stopped in to get my transmission fluid checked on my 95 dodge ram, not as easy as it sounds. They did not have the right very odd sized wrench, I totally understand, I told them that was fine and was ready to leave, but they wanted to take care of it however they could. The guys (James and Eric? Hope I got the names right) really went above and beyond to get the job done, with some fantastic improvising. Highly recommended as I usually dont trust these kind of places, but absolutely do here.
Customer Service is amazing! I was in and out of there within 15 minutes. But, there was some miscommunication about which oil I wanted and they ended up putting the more expensive oil in my car. The manager was extremely helpful and actually lowered the price to the price of the oil that I was expecting to pay for. He even added a $10 off coupon to the total which brought it down even more!

This Valvoline location is fantastic! In the three years Ive owned a car, Ive never taken it anywhere but this location for an oil change.The service is fantastic. Ive had oil changes, of course (synthetic blend, always) as well as the air conditioning service, air filter replacement, light bulb replacement, and safety inspection services. They are great at what they do and Ive never had a problem! If I did, I know it would be fixed promptly. They seem to take pride in what they do and I can definitely admire that!The employees at this location are always polite, helpful, and friendly when they communicate with me about my needs for my car and their recommendations for service without being pushy and pressuring me to buy other things, unlike a lot of other car service places who are only there to make a sale.The location itself is clean and comfortable. There are plenty of magazines to read and the chairs are comfortable! The smoothie/slushie machines are great - my little sister loves coming to wait for the car to get done with its service so she can see what flavors they have available that day!Im sure other Valvoline locations are just as good, but this one is where Ill keep going because I have been so consistently impressed with it!

Showed up at 1:45 on Friday afternoon and they said 35-45 minutes... There was 1 car getting their oil changed and another car in front of me. So I figured yeah it shouldnt take but 45 min to an hour max... But 2 hours later they finally got done... I seen numerous cars leave the line because of their deficiencies.. This place is poorly organized and ran... Plus a regular conventional oil change is $45 for a older sedan vehicle... If youre going to charge at a higher price, at least be efficient in your service.. I wont ever come back to this place or any other Valvoline place ever again..
Friendly but very overpriced
Had a really great experience here. I was driving all over to get a state inspection and everyone was booked or I even had one place tell me they could do it but then their inspector’s car wouldn’t start so they directed me to this Valvoline.The staff are extremely friendly and got my inspection done immediately and with the utmost customer service. One of the best express mechanics I’ve been to.
Got in line at 2:15 and they said 20-30 minutes max. Here I sit at 3:40 over an hour later just now getting service. Multiple cars backing out of line because of the wait when its advertised 15 minute wait. Don’t advertise something you cant uphold. I have never in my life seen a group of more slow, lethargic, working individuals goofing off the entire time I sit and wait in my car not taking their job seriously. They could care less about the customers waiting in line or how long it takes just as long as they have time for a cigarette break. I travel all over the country and will never return to a valvoline oil change again. Horrible experience.

I needed a state safety inspection and drove into this location around 5:30PM on a Wednesday. The employee in the bay told me they dont do inspections past 5PM on weekdays to show up before then. I then returned to this location at 3PM on a Friday and was told they had already left for the day. The person in the bay this time then asked me who would have told me 5PM? It was a total waste of my time to even think these morons know what they are doing. These guys will NEVER get my business... ever.

I have never been to an instant type oil change place, and I was pleasantly surprised. It was very fast, efficient, and convenient. However, it was more expensive than I was used to. However, time is worth something and I will definitely be returning.

Took my 11970 MGB down to Valvoline Instant Oil Change for its Missouri inspection. They were fast, efficient and thorough. From what I saw, they checked all areas from the top, to including the bottom (underneath). Time wise, they said it would take 2 hours. I was out of there in less than an hour and a half. I was very pleased.
Came in yesterday. They didnt have the correct oil filter for my truck. I didnt end up getting a full service oil change, like I came in for. Heres why they get five stars:I came in, and was directed to Bay 2, where I waited roughly 15-20 minutes for my turn, as the tech that greeted me predicted. I rolled into Bay 2, and we changed the vehicle on my account to the vehicle I now own. This vehicle has thrown some hiccups at me when it comes to buying parts, since its fairly uncommon (2016 GMC Canyon / 2.8L Duramax Diesel). Because Im aware of this, I wasnt surprised that they didnt have the correct oil filter in stock, but I was impressed by the service. Eric called multiple locations to try and get me a filter while I was in the bay. Failing to find someone that had one on hand, he had my fluids and tire air topped off, and drained my old oil, filling it back up with new oil. He explained that he would have to re-use the old oil filter, but said hed be ordering filters for my truck immediately, and to either come in next week when they came in, or buy one elsewhere and come back. Either way, hed start having some on hand. Everything they did to my truck in that bay was free of charge for the inconvenience, and every tech that came into contact with me expressed their regret at not being able to fully service the vehicle.Im definitely coming back. I was really impressed with their professionalism, and resolution to make the situation as right as they could, with plans to order the filters to continue to be able to service my vehicle in the future. Speaks volumes about the kind of people that work there. Im grateful for their demeanor, and customer service. That is totally worth a full five stars in my book.Update 10/06/2019: Been over a month, still no oil filter for my vehicle. From what I understand, its a supply issue. Ill be changing the oil and oil filter myself.

While I was out of town, my wife was driving my truck, and it went dead at the Hy-Vee in Liberty. Valvoline was the closest place, so thats where I told her to go. Two different workers told her two different things. The first recommended the alternator be replaced (something they dont fix there), and the second recommended the battery be replaced (something they do fix there), leaving my wife confused as to the actual problem. Since the battery was replaced just seven months ago, I dont think there was any outstanding problem with it. As well, the battery could have been replaced for free where it was installed seven months earlier, if that was the problem, but no questions were asked. Since they could fix it, they did. Just one day after they replaced the battery, the truck would not crank one morning before work. Now, we are headed somewhere else to try and actually get it fixed. The only reason for two stars is that Im grateful my wife was able to get it fixed enough to get home and not stress about the situation any more. Get the basics done here, but be weary of other repairs.

The service I received here today was first class and I believe this team could teach other shops a thing or two. During a road trip, our car needed some fluids replaced. After several frustrating answers from other mechanics, I pulled into the parking lot and was greeted warmly, offered assistance decoupling my trailer in below freezing weather, given clear information about what my vehicle needed, and saw that they knew I needed to get back on the road quickly. They were polite, clear, fast, and about every other good adjective I can think of.
