The common symptoms of out-of-balance tires are uneven and faster tread wear, poor fuel economy, and vibration in the steering wheel, the floorboard or the seat that gets worse at faster speeds. When all areas of the wheel-tire unit are as equal in weight as possible, the tire will roll smoothly.My tires were put on in October. And vibration started a couple weeks back. The manager stated because I didn’t rotate my tires every 5000 miles that’s why. Which I pretty sure if you don’t rotate enough it cause more wear on the back tires than the front tires. It doesn’t cause it to have uneven tread wear. I stated I had them rotated at jiffy lube when recommended. Then the manager stated we have no record of that. And then started to try to sell me tires. That’s when I stated just put my tires back on. I Will take my truck elsewhere. I can’t say I didn’t get very upset and had a few choice words. But try spending 1400 dollars to get all brand new tires and have an alignment done by them to assure no wear or damage to the tires. And less than a year later having to buy another set of tires.

Folks be careful! Bought 4 new tires! So far so good on them but I did the oil change thing with them! Woke up after wife went to work to find 1 trail of oil on driveway and in my garage along-and throughout my neighborhood! Wife drove to Lawrence KS from Liberty MO! Told her to go to Firestone in Lawrence. They said it was the oil cap and replaced it and filled back with oil! Next day she leaves in morning and a second streak appears when leaving! Went to Liberty store and said it was a loose oil filter! Offered free oil change for my trouble!🤬called corporate no need to deal with weekend staff! Got a case number! MGR calls me and try’s to be accommodating! I had to buy a power washer strong enough to try to remove! Oil and water don’t mix as you know! Well he paid for my power washer! Wasted a whole Sunday dealing with clean up still present and not fully clear! This is my first post I think to be negative but what needs to change is procedures to ensure things are tight and working properly to avoid this again to anyone because this sucked! Stuff happens but I hope some additional measures are in place so this doesn’t happen to you! Staff was nice to me though!

They fixed the mechanical problem but they left a bunch of oil stains inside the cab of my car and all over my leather seats. If your car is worth over 5 grand I wouldnt take it here because youll get it back covered in stains. Spend over three grand for a job and they cant even wipe it down when theyre done or bring it to the lot their business is in.

Big shout out to this team for helping me this week! I’m from out of town and was driving through when my axel broke. Not only was this team able to immediately get to work on diagnosing the issue, with a bay-full of cars, but they welcomed my dog into the shop and treated him great as well! Rod, at the front desk, was helpful in getting me a quote and offered me a discount; he’s also a navy veteran so he shared some cool stories with me during my wait. Mat, the technician, was super efficient with his work and got me out of there in under two hours! Really can’t thank this team enough for saving my day, and at a reasonable cost!

I called to setup an appointment and the lady that answered the phone was well spoken and polite. the job was quick and painless. I went to this location with 4 identical newContinental Extreme Contact DWS06 All-Season Radial Tires. After installation I checked my tires and 2 of my tires were not on my car and were replaced with generic tires in front. I will never go to this location again. They stole 2 of my tires! F**k This Place!

Every time weve taken our vehicle here for inspection they find something wrong and charge an arm and a leg to replace it. Today was the last time. While stuck in their office without easy access to my vehicle, they charged $240 to replace a $65 part that takes less than 30 min to replace. Not a bad way to make nearly 400% profit on people who are stuck and cant leave easily. Save your time, money, and sanity and go anywhere but here.

The parking is tiny and cramped, so I would recommend an appointment and not drop in. Theyll still take you as a walk-in, though, depending on what you need. I have had a much better time here than at the Firestone in Independence, even though the Independence branch is bigger and has more staff and parking- I wont go back to that one. The folks here in Liberty are very professional and have taken the extra step to help me out and make sure I leave satisfied with my car.

Scared to take care of a customer. Said my tires weren’t under warranty due to “impact” and that you could clearly see curb rash next to the defect in the tires.I just went and looked, you are a lier.

Friendly helpful and quick for a safety inspection. Set an appointment. Got right in and they were prompt and helpful. I would recommend going here for a safety inspection and they are probably good with tires too. I mean I am just guessing but that is what their primary focus is, I think. Anyways. They tried to keep 200.00 worth of used tires. How can I give them any stars? They were told 2x to put the old, nice tires (see pic) in the back of car (when I made the appointment and at time of service). They did not. They kept them AND charged me for disposal They also gave me no itemized estimate of the work needed. I did get my Bridgestone Touranza tires back and the disposal fee refunded.I listened to their BS excuses as they had blown it from the top down but the hourly tire tech was trying to say he blew it. Actually, LIBERTY FIRESTONE blew it.Will not be back. Try the Truman FS Store downtown (at least they act like they really need and appreciate your business).

- Update, 12.7.19. Firestone Corporate got in touch with me a few days after this review and refunded the $40 in labor. I truly appreciated the effort they made to make it right. I would have given 5 stars, but it should have never came to this in the first place.I had used this place for ages. Then today, they charged me $40, plus parts, to change a twist and pop light bulb during an inspection. No screws, no nothing other than a slight twist to pop it out. Crazy. I guess my business goes elsewhere now.

Had tires installed here on 2 different vehicles in the last 3 months. Alignment on one, check on the other as well. Made appointment, ordered my tires on line, had them delivered. Went smooth as silk. Done on time and in the time promised. Cant attest to the rest of their mechanical work, but awesome for the above.

Good service, just had one guy (smh) guess who had a badd day and a attitude.

I went here to get an oil change which was fine and priced great. However, the complimentary inspection that came with the oil change was not great. They told me they tested my battery, and it was at replacement levels and was almost dead. I went and got my battery tested at a different place after this, and they said the batter still had half of its life remaining. Additionally, they told me my right front tire needed to be replaced because the tread was low. I went to a different tire place and they told me it could go another 20,000 miles. Bottom line, they tried to take advantage of me and charge me for things I didn’t need that would have been over $300.

They have always been very good to me and have done a great job on my car. Compared to other places their prices are very reasonable. The Liberty Firestone crew has always gone above and beyond for me.

I showed up on Sunday, two minutes before closing and they kindly helped me. My tire had a hole in the sidewall and was gushing air. They put on my spare, ordered a new tire for me and kept my wheel so they could assemble it the next morning when it arrived. I have had horrible luck with tires, lots of nails in them and hitting pot holes. The warranty plan is amazing and their service is always above and beyond. Thank you!!

Went the last week of July for my car inspection. They knew I was under time constraint, thats why they told me I needed 2 new windshield wipers. Well, my husband changes the wipers on my car every winter and again every spring. Told them I would have him look at them. Oh, thats fine, but youll have to come back in to get the inspection signed off. Its $25 for 2 new wipers. Needless to say, I didnt have time to come back in, and they were counting on it. So I had to pay $10 each for 2 wipers and $5 for the labor. I WONT GO BACK!! I dont believe I needed new wipers, they just wanted to make more money off just a car inspection. On top of it all, when I pulled in I had trouble finding a parking spot and one OF THEIR EMPLOYEES drove around me in the lot and pulled into the only spot! REALLY!!!??

I recently moved to the area and needed to find a decent place for oil changes and such that doesnt cost an arm and a leg. Not only was I able to schedule an appointment online but there was a deal that made it a fairly good price. On top of that, the service people were beyond friendly and brought to my attention issues that would need repairs. I also have to say this: while I was there, they had a rather demanding and borderline disrespectful customer. The service team was nothing but polite and as helpful as possible, regardless of what he threw at them. I have worked in customer service before and I applaud them for their integrity and handling of that situation.

Complete robbery. Asked to have my brakes done and got to add multiple squeaks to my car while stopping. When asked about it, they claimed something else must be wrong with my car and it couldnt be their brakes.Follow up:Went to Firestone Independence to have my brakes inspected due to the continued noise. Ends up Liberty put stuff together wrong causing parts to rub that shouldnt. Fortunately this didnt cause any damage to the brakes.

Had a tire replaced on my company van. Got it back, ran fine for a week until last night and then today. I found out they over tightened the wheel studs. This in turn caused me to lose 4 of the 5. Thankfully Im still alive.

I have used Firestone for state inspections, diagnostics, brake jobs, oil changes, and tire replacements. Every time they have been fast, efficient, and overall a great experience. I feel like I can trust the sales advisers and the technicians when it comes to pricing and recommendations on my vehicles.

Went to get a state inspection done. Just got my car out of the shop 2 weeks ago. Was told it failed inspection because front sway bar links have excessive play and tried to get me to pay $300 to fix it. Called up Christian Brothers, was told that having play cannot cause a vehicle to fail inspection, only if its broke. Took it up to Christian Brothers, where it passed inspection with flying colors and they said there wasnt even excessive play on my sway bar link. Dont take youe car to Firestone, if you are a young female they will illegally fail you and try to scam you out of money!!! Christian Brothers is a much better option for everything.

Why is the firestone company in general so expensive? A simple diagnostic for hundred and something you have to pay and no work done at all for the car, just checking it out.

Shawn and Tyler had caught a problem when trying to patch our tire to our car and we had explained to them we were having problems with the other tire blowing out and they had found the best price for a brand new tire for us . Highly recommend coming here .

Have been here approximately 4 times for alignment and have had nothing but problems every time. This time they left my steering wheel crooked..... again! I even make sure to tell them this time to make sure that it was straight. They pinched my abs wheel speed sensor so when I got in my truck I had traction control error codes on dash, then had to pay them 125$ for a new one. Got home and noticed the front was way out of alignment just by eyeballing it, so I take it back in next day only to have chris the manager to act like Im an inconvenience for him to make my truck right. No apology hardly said anything but do you have your keys, and I told him that they didnt straighten my steering wheel, his response was my guys are all ASE certified but couldnt do a simple steering alignment. After another alignment they say my adjustment bolts came loose and thats why it was misaligned again. Then he pretty much called me a liar about me saying every time I come here i have problems. Chris needs some people skills and some customer service training ASAP

Went in for an alignment on a 2012 Super Duty had to go back 2 weeks later to have them realign it and that still isnt aligned properly. Dont believe their technicians are ase-certified

The store name says Firestone complete auto care. Called to check how much to replace a heater core and was told the mechanic doesnt work on those. If your mechanic is not smart enough to replace a heater core then either you need to replace your mechanic or you need to replace your sign. I am not sure what complete auto care means to them but complete auto care to me means I can fix all aspects of a vehicle. Guess this isnt the case.
