I have been going to Paul Mammolas, and specifically Leslie, for a long time. She is wonderful. And the salon has always been inviting and friendly. During Covid, the salon has been great about communicating regularly about what it is doing to adhere to and go beyond, health and safety protocols. Very reassuring.

I recently moved back to the area after 30 years in NYC. After a few unsatisfactory salon trips in the area I found Paul Mammola Salon. I am so HAPPY that I have finally found my new place. The staff is warm and professional and attentive. Somara is just what I was looking for. She listens and has a great touch with the scissors !. Recommend HIGHLY!

For almost 15 years, Ive been going to the salon. The hairstyles are great. Everyone is extremely professional and friendly. Its especially important to me that kids stick to the rules during this time.

I went to this salon to get my first facial in a long time. I had the appointment with Marketa and got the Spa Blossom package. It was such an amazing and relaxing experience and my skin feels so rejuvenated, thanks to Marketas professional treatment.

The last few months have been full of compromises for all of us - but thanks to a meticulously run salon, dedicated and talented stylists and a focus on ongoing improvements to customer and staff safety, we can come back with confidence. I was missing the salon experience and the wonderful uplift in mood that a fresh color and cut can give - we need it and they deliver. I have been a happy client for almost 30 years and every time Leslie styles my hair - I leave with a smile on my face!

The salon is clean and inviting. The staff are friendly and courteous. My hairdresser, Tina, is fantastic and does a great job with my curly hair. Ive seen other great stylists here, too.

October 2020 update:. I have posted 2 pictures. One picture show the separation of the sinks with floor to ceiling curtains. The other picture shows how the chairs are separated by floor to almost ceiling plexiglass shields. The middle chair is marked off to prevent it being used. I feel very safe here.Covid update: The salon is SPOTLESS. It is large enough to separate clients so the closest client is about 15 feet away on the top level. There are also separate rooms in the lower level with only one client per room. Each station is sanitized between clients. All hairdressers change gloves, masks and smocks between each client. There are 4 sinks so they can easily sanitize sinks between clients. There are no reading materials, so there is no risk of viral transmission from magazines. You cannot enter until invited to do so. Upon entry each client is asked about covid symptoms and recent travel. The clients temperature is also taken and clients are asked to use hand sanitizer. I have no reservations about coming to this salon, they are being super careful about health.Previous review: I have been going to Paul Mammola Salon for 3 or 4 years now and would never go anywhere else. There are so many pros and no cons to going here.First, when you arrive, you are welcomed by the friendly and extremely efficient front desk. Even on my first visit, I felt like a valued client. Stepping inside, there is a roomy table to spread out while having my hair colored. If I need something to do, there is a good selection of magazines.Leslie is my very talented hairdresser. I wasnt sure what I wanted on my first consultation. I gave her some thoughts and she converted this into a great color and style. She is a good listener and made sure the cut would be something I could manage on my own.I highly recommend this salon.

I have been going to the salon for over 15 years. Haircuts are perfect. Everyone is very professional and very welcoming. Especially important to me is that they follow the rules outlined during this time.

Truly a gem. Stylish and clean salon. Added bonus there is a tranquil spa in the lower level. Everyone is friendly and skilled (I’ve never had a bad cut. I have been seeing my stylist for over 6 years. I can tell they are like a big family as most stylists have been there for 10+ years.

Paul Mammola salon is my favorite of all in Lexington, immaculate, calm and relaxing, wonderful staff and amazing hair! Cannot recommend this salon enough, they are doing an exceptional job during the Pandemic too.

Leslie has been cutting my hair for over 20 years. I would very highly recommend her for any cutting, styling or coloring service you require. The salon is managed by Matias who is diligently working to minimize COVID-19 risk by every means including temperature checks, required masks, minimum people in the salon, extended hours and days, and the air is filtered by a HEPA filter. I highly recommend Leslie and this salon as they are serious about keeping everyone safe while providing great service.

Ive been getting my hair done here for about 20 years or so; they really are the absolute BEST in the business! My stylist, Somar, is outstandingly professional, knowledgeable and helpful -- she always goes the extra mile for her clients and is truly fabulous in cutting, coloring and styling. Incredibly detail-oriented, she is also very easygoing and friendly; I cant help but recommend her with enormous enthusiasm!Paul and the entire staff greet you warmly from the moment you walk in and always make sure you feel welcome, pampered and genuinely cared for. Theyre really a lovely and exceptional team, and I hope they are all staying well and safe in these very scary times of Covid-19. I can hardly wait to see them all again!

It is solid place. I consistently get a good haircut here, which is why they deserve 4 stars, but the experience could be improved.

Alex is the best! Shes very creative and listened well, Im fussy when it comes to brunette color hair. I took a chance on this salon & Alex, and so glad I did. Alex does make-up too, bonus! Im def going to return here. The owner Matias is fabulous also. Prices are reasonable too. (Paula)

A full service Salon in the center of Lexington. They offer a full array of services in addition to hair stying including facials, manicure, and waxing. It has a relaxing atmosphere and is well run. The prices seem reasonable. Ive always been very pleased with my cuts. An acceptionable salon.

Love this place! Friendly and Great job with color and cut! They have snacks and water in waiting area and a convenient parking lot behind the place. Covid update: clean and safe!
