Have used Walt’s for years and now will never return. Dropped truck off a couple of months ago to have an exhaust leak repaired. Wife picked it up and problem wasn’t repaired. No big deal as they didn’t charge me. Dropped by a couple more mechanics that agreed that it was an exhaust leak and told to take back to Walt’s since they are the best. Went to drop truck off this morning and they are busy as always. Parked my truck in fenced in area as I know it would be left overnight. Spoke with Steven and he said they were 15 vehicles behind and asked where my truck was. I told him where and I had parked it there to leave. He then snapped at me and said I have cars that have been sitting for days waiting. At that point I said don’t worry about it and walked off. He did try to stop me but I told him I was good and left. Be professional and courteous when busy. I would’ve been more than happy to leave my truck for multiple days. My question is since they are first come first serve, are they turning everyone away from opening that comes by for exhaust work? Are they working on the left vehicles first? I highly doubt it.

Great workers, does a variety of repairs.

I had my ac stop suddenly on a Saturday evening and by Tuesday morning Walt’s had me up and cooling again. The price is very reasonable and the customer service is exceptional! I highly recommend them.

Best place for the money, they do great work, all the years that Ive been going there never had to take it back twice.

I called to get a price before I traveled there and was put on hold for 15 minutes then disconnected so I called back and person answering the phone acted like he didn’t want to answer the phone and put me on hold for 10 and I was disconnected again, so I’m guessing they didn’t want my business or money or they just felt like they didn’t need anymore customers. So guess what, I went elsewhere to have the work done and won’t be going back to them anymore. News to them my money is good and still spends like everyone else’s but they won’t find out . Don’t waste your time with them .

Best in town!!! The whole staff is wonderful they operate like a team and make you feel like family. They get to the bottom off your issue. They replaced the ac compressor because a big chain told me thats what it was when in fact it ended up being the wires burning out. It was absolutely worth the trip. They are very reasonable. First time there today and was blown away at how busy it was. After having my AC fixed (condenser/drier) in only TWO hours, I can see why people come from all over to see them. The guy that helped us diagnosed the problem immediately and gave us a very reasonable price. I’ll be sending anyone needing work done there. When you go, get there early if you can. Exceptional value and service.

They did a fantastic job! Very welcoming and just good country atmosphere. We arrived and were waiting for when they opened at 7:30am. The tech came out to our car moments before then and asked how he could help us. We needed a new muffler put on and he was quick to get us taken care of. The pulled the car into the bay and had it up on the lift within minutes. They installed the new muffler and had us on our way before 8:00am. We drove all the way here from Climax, NC at the recommendation of my father-in-law who had also been here before. We will definitely be back for any future needs.

I came here to get my car’s AC fixed. They were supper busy but they still fixed my car on time. The guys there were nice and gave my a quote before doing anything. I paid $230 +tax for parts and labor included. I would definitely recommend!

Worked on AC compressor early in the week and then I had to take the vehicle back because of a camshaft position problem that was giving Service Engine Soon codes when checked. They got the part as quickly as they could on Saturday morning and then I was on my way with a fixed vehicle

My AC had a freon leak on my older Civic. Young man named Dustin jumped right on it. In less than thirty minutes I was leaving with cold air and the fix was just under $100. They do great exhaust systems as well.

Way too busy, and unorganized. Cant even make an appointment to have work done. Just have to show up on a day you want work performed, & hope they can get to you. You could be waiting there ALL day.

Horrible experience. My car was overheating. I came in asking for a radiator flush. They refused to do it claiming it would not fix my problem. They claimed they were doing a diagnostic for free. They told me I need a new water pump. I paid $140 for the pump. I drove 4 blocks and my car overheated. I called them and drove back to their shop. They then told me I needed a new head gasket at a cost of $900. So where was their so called diagnostic? Did they even test my car after the pump install to see if it was working properly? They didnt even offer any of my money towards the head gasket! Do not go there!

This is not the place to go if youre black. From the time you step on their lot you can feel the tension. I spoke to one of the guys and he just looked at me and walked right pass me. I waited for about 10 mins no one helped me so I left and Ill never go back there again.

Very busy, wish I had known before I drive all that way. However, walts is an awesome shop with reasonable prices and the guys all know exactly what they are doing. Now if I can just get squeezed in that would be freaking awesome. Guess Ill have to make appointment just so they can check out what Ill need to replace my catalytic converter someone so nicely sawed off my Honda CR-V. Hopefully soon they can get to me.

They do great work dont get me wrong just make sure your car is cleaned out before you go cause somebody took all the silver change out of my door while it was there... So great work but untrustworthy apparently.

Took my truck to get the converters changed... well long story short I’ve had to go back already twice for the same annoying noise that the converters make now. And every time I go they treat me like if I’m lying? Yet they find it and claim they fixed. Well I’m not ever going here again. I recommend y’all look some where else for your services.

I called 4 or 5 times they told me each time 550 plus tax well it was 720 and I didnt get a warranty because I wouldnt let them fix one thing that we already put on and another my brother n law could fix

Had Muffler Cat Convertor and tail pipe replaced! I DECIDED THE Tail pipe was good. The tech informed me that the tail pipe was the cheapest part! Felling that they probably would not knock off the quoted price l let them install the tail pipe. ????

I have dealt with them many times. These guys are slam busy all the time for good reason. Theyre the best. Period!

They got the job done same day replacing some brake lines cheaper than I could find just the parts. Seems to be good work. Though, they started work on it before calling me with an estimate and getting the ok to do it.

The guys at this shop are awesome! They work very very hard but still greet you with a smile and deliver good customer service. Excellent shop!!! Everyone up there is an expert at what they do. They are so efficient even though they are crazy busy it is still very fast service! I went and got a flowmaster muffler and custom dual exhaust put on my truck today, they had me in and out in no time. Truck sounds amazing, pipes look great, I love it!!! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They came highly recommended and I see why. They were very reasonable on price! Anyone who wants to be treated fairly, get a good price, and have real car experts do a true professional job on your vehicle, go to Walts!!!

Walt’s Radiator and Muffler shop is about as good as it gets. I have taken all of my Challengers and Durangos there over the past few years and they have done quality, reasonably priced custom exhaust work for me. They sell Borla, Flowmaster and Magnaflow mufflers too so they are able to create a custom exhaust for you right there on the spot. Essentially any configuration you can dream up these guys can make happen.

A + Auto Service....If your vehicle malfunction needs any of their specialties, you will leave pleased and surprised. They are experts, they are fast and the cost is well below dealer or even independent garages. Worth the half hour drive for me.

I base this review on the fact that every time i call, nobody ever answers the phone.
