After completing an oil change, my brakes were checked and found to be sound. A concern regarding my steering column was discovered to be still under warranty and saved me a great deal by my being sent to the dealer to have it repaired. I went to meineke to have my BMW checked for a second opinion after I had the dealership (BMW) tell me that there were multiple problems with my car. Meineke has great customer service and they go above and beyond explaining the diagnosis of your car. I am so happy I finally found great mechanics who know what they are doing! They were very thorough with my vehicle inspection and most importantly they were honest and told me everything that was wrong with my car and they were extremely patient while I dealt with my extended warranty. When selecting and auto mechanic I am looking for two things: Integrity/honesty and the ability to diagnose a problem.Even recently I have had a major auto dealership with a reputation for integrity not perform the service I paid for. Historically when I take a vehicle in for repair at other places I sometimes end up having to diagnose it for them. Not at Meineke of Lexington.They are less expensive than a dealer BTW

I had to get my clutch replace. My car stopped in the road so I didnt have time to shop around to find the best deal. Randomly pick these people because I felt they had a good reputation. They did $1,778.00 of repairs. I paid it, got my car back. I then checked around a few other shops to see what they charge for the same work. It would have been half the price a 3 other locations. They really took advantage of me. Dont go there!

I stopped to see if my muffler could be fixed it was going to be a week and a half before they could even look at it. There were cars everywhere and nowhere to park was very disappointed because I had someone tell me this was a great place to take your vehicle with quick service.

Let me just start off by saying how much I love the guy at the front desk with the blue eyes! I called on Monday to schedule a certain service. Based off what I was telling him, he advised otherwise and asked if I could drop my car off Wed morning to diagnose it first. Right then and there I was pleased simply bc he didn’t allow me to pay for a service I didn’t need. I got there at 8am and he showed genuine concern abt my issue. He called and kept me abreast of what was going on. I very much appreciated the effort and multiple test drives they took my car on to ascertain a resolution. But what was really refreshing was his integrity! He was honest and forthcoming about how the diagnosis was complicated and how the service was more a trial & error type of thing...and THAT’S something I never felt I got from “dealerships.” Because of that alone they have gained my trust and therefore a new customer.

Called and they got me in right away. They fixed my car and I got it back within one day. I highly recommend going to them for any car needs.

I had all 4 brakes done my F150 at Meinike yesterday. They are a veteran owned family business and great to work with. Richard was helpful and courteous before, during and after the service. Unlike many places which will force new rotors, he turned mine and the price was very reasonable compared to other shops. Work was done quickly and communication throughout was great!

They took care of everything. Checked to see if my repairs were under my warranty, contacted the warranty company and even had it ready within 2 days. In my opinion, Meineke always goes above and beyond. They are excellent!

I have been using this particular Meineke for all my oil changes and repairs for the past couple of years. They are professional and I believe their prices are fair. They do not push unneeded repairs in my experience and give honest feedback. It is inconvenient that they are not open on Saturdays but I appreciate their service enough to work around that in my schedule. Make sure to schedule ahead as they tend to get quite busy.

Had a Chevy Captiva about to travel 1,200 miles to the Midwest in a couple of days. I was changing the oil & noticed an oil leak unrelated to the oil change. My regular shop was booked & unable to inspect it on such short notice. They referred me to Josh at Meineke. Although his shop was busy, he agreed to look at it. It took driving the vehicle some more to pinpoint the leak point since oil had dripped on the drive belt and been slung around. It turned out to be a leaky crankshaft seal. Josh and his staff were very professional and showed me the leak point. Josh was able to get a new seal by the next morning to make the repair. His communication was excellent and his price very fair. My experience was excellent.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Josh and Richard are great. I recently had to take my vehicle elsewhere due to a potential warranty related issue and that shop told me they couldn’t detect the warranty issue and said I needed brake work to the tune of $700. I said “no thanks” and took it to Meineke where they determined I only needed part of the brake work done AND they identified the warranty related issue we knew was there. All for $270. They have proven time and again that they are honest and accommodating. Super nice guys to boot!

They never try to talk me into repairs that I dont need either. Theyre all super friendly, and their prices are the most reasonable Ive ever seen. Theres no way Ill ever take my car anywhere else.Update: I had an appointment to have the brake pads on my 2010 car changed because I was hearing the indicator and I knew they had never been changed before. I hadnt been there too long when Josh came in and told me that my brake pads didnt need to be changed yet. Hows that for honesty? They could very easily have taken my money and needlessly changed brake pads, or just taken my money and told me they changed them. I have so much faith in Meineke that when anybody asks where they should take their car I always, always recommend Josh and crew at Meineke.

I had had an immediate need for a catalytic converter replacement on a Honda Accord Monday morning September 9th 2019. I called Meineke of Lexington South Carolina on Main Street and was allowed to come in within an hour of my call for the work to be done. I was promised it would take an hour for the job to be completed and it was. I asked for some leniency on the repair bill due to the owner of the car having large medical bills from prior cancer treatments. They were graciously able to save her some on the bill. It just doesnt get any better than this. Highly recommend these gentlemen to any in need of the services they can provide. I watched in the waiting room while many other customers were coming in and being immediately handled as well. Great to see quality work its still available.
