I took my truck to Midas and got an estimate on putting dual exhaust on about 2 weeks ago. I was told it would cost $388.00 and some change. I thought it was a little high but within reason. I brought my truck back two weeks later and left it over night so they could work on it the next morning. I called Midas and they said they put my truck on the lift and he stated it was going to cost $730.00. I told him I was here 2 weeks ago and you had my truck on the lift and you told me $388.00. He stated he did not know who gave me that estimate so I checked around. I found one place said he would do the same job for $275.00 and another one $350.00. I have yet to speak with the manager but I will after i get off work. If you take your vehicle to this place you better watch yourself.

I had been taking my vehicle here for almost 8 years for service and oil changes. I was always treated right, so I recommended this place to friends and family for years. Recently my son’s a/c went out in his vehicle so we took it in to be fixed, my 19 year old son paid nearly $700 for the repair, but when we left the a/c was only blowing at the feet no matter what position the blower was placed in. We immediately called to say there was an issue and brought the vehicle back the next day. They wanted to charge for a diagnostic test, which I refused. They did the diagnostic at no cost and stated that it would cost another $700 to fix the a/c. I was beyond upset since it should have been completely working when we left the day before after already paying a substantial amount. When I refused that they said they would only charge me $350. I asked them to put our vehicle back together, told them I was not paying a thing, as my son found how to fix the issue on YouTube. Miraculously, when we got there, the air was blowing out all blowers as it should have been. But I am certain they would have allowed me to pay for the same result. So, after an 8 year relationship with this shop, I am done. My friends have all been notified as well as family - they too will not be returning. I am very sad it ended this way, since I had told them I always felt like family when I was there.

I was just driving through town when my car started acting up. Took my car to 2 other places before coming to this Midas. They did a diagnostic on my car and found a simple problem the other shops were unable to find. Dean was helpful and well knowledge and made this horrible experience a whole lot better. I highly recommend them.

I went to another midas location and was given the runaround then called these guys and felt like the way they handled themselves over the phone I might have more luck for what Im needing done. I had purchased an aftermarket exhaust for my honda civic and the other places acted like they just couldnt do what I needed. Well I arrived to the best customer service Ive experienced ever at a car shop. And then they told me oh yeah they could do what I need. They were so professional and the muffler guy was a young man who honestly in my opinion did the best job ever. I mean the muffler guy was A1 like he knew exactly they way I wanted it and I am so happy with everything they provided me with. Even had plenty of space in the office for my pregnant wife to easily social distance from others. If I could give them 20 stars I would. If you need anything done to your car these are your guys. I will be coming to them from now on. The man running this place and the muffler guy need a raise. Best experience with a car shop.

I got new tires, alignment and a tune up. They never put my engine cover back on and I didnt notice until the check engine light came on only a month after they serviced it. Not sure how to remedy that... The servicing took all day, the prices were high and, other than the friendly staff, I would never go back.

The manager Chas May has extensive knowledge of cars and was very helpful in figuring what needed to be repaired. He also got me a excellent price!

Ive been here several times now. The guys are always very sweet and knowledgeable. Its extremely helpful when you dont know much about cars. Lol I very much recommend them to others. Ive never been made to feel inadequate or talked down to because of my lack of understanding.

Terrible customer service!!Me and one other customer waited patiently in line to be seen by the front desk cashier while he was on the phone. As he ends his phone call a male walked through the door and the cashier immediately addressed him and proceeded to assist him completely ignoring the two customers he had in front of him. Very rude!!!

Just left from getting service, Cody is very customer service friendly and I got a great price on brakes. - One major let down is Cody is the only one who wears a mask and this is very selfish when working with the public. I will refer them, but I hope they have future consideration for others moving forward...

I went to take my car to change my oil and do a review of my vehicle, and the sales manager of this place showed me two filters of my car and explained that they should be changed as soon as possible and also that the container of The oil in my car had a leak and he gave me an exorbitant price of $ 700 to fix all this, $ 200 to change said filters and $ 500 to repair my oil leak, I was about to fall for his lie, but I I stopped to think that something was not correct and I decided to go to another auto shop to compare prices and in this place they told me that to change my filters it would cost $ 45 and it was then that I realized that the MIDAS sales manager wanted to scam me without remorse these people are the most corrupt there is, they were about to rip me off but my intelligence did not allow it, that place should be investigated by the authorities

From the moment I first walked in the door, I felt my work was going to be completed in a professional manner. I knew I had come to the right place. I had a muffler problem and my parts person at Ford told me to go to Midas. He was definitely not wrong. Even though my wait was rather short, they had the most comfortable chairs I have ever sat in. Went in and bought KO2s the price was higher than most, but needed them. Specifically asked the manager to take the best tire and put it on my spare. He even put it on purchase order. He picked up the tires because they werent in stock, then went home. This was mid of 2017. Later in the year discovered I had a piece of wire in the shoulder of my tire, dropped my truck off at a local mechanic and asked him to replace with my spare. Come to find out they never put my tire on my spare. After many phone calls speaking with their VP MATT NAVALA..Text messages to prove they would pay half the cost of a tire he still has not sent the check. I paid for insurance on these tires also. This is by far the most unprofessional company Ive ever had to deal with. Dont go there!!

Great experience for having has such bad luck. I pulled into the shopping center across the street and realized I had a flat tire. I went directly there and was helped immediately. With in 20 minutes my tire was plugged and I was on my way! The service tech refused to take a tip and was very courteous.

I stopped into this location randomly a few months ago, I was well overdue for an oil change. They welcomed me in a genuine way and worked with me to get the best service for my Subaru. I got an education, too. Not only was I putting the wrong type of oil in my car for years, I was overpaying for the wrong service as well. Ill never go to an in and out type of oil change location or dealership for my services again! I scheduled an online appointment this morning for my second oil change at this Midas location. I arrived at 12:30, and left shortly after 1pm. Their service is friendly, thorough and efficient.... they even include tire rotations in their price. Thank you guys for the great service! See you in 6,000 miles!

I arrived at Midas at 7:45 am and was promptly greeted at the door and let in 15 minutes before the official opening time. I explained the issue and was told the exact amount of the charge once my car was reviewed. 30 minutes later I was on my way. I received excellent service!

First visit to Midas in Lexington, SC was so quick and easy. I was in and out with new windshield wipers...that I had put off way too long. Customer waiting area was clean and comfortable and staff was super friendly! I will be a repeat customer.

Called Banks and specifically told him the problem with my Ram truck. I explained to him that I run a sales route and wanted to make sure the job can be done before I decided to take the truck off the road. He even told me that they did the same repair on his truck. I dropped the truck off the next day and received a phone call telling me they cant do the job, and that Banks was off. So now not only is my truck not fixed but i also lost a days pay! No comunication between managers they didnt even know why my truck was there to begin with, they had to call me to find out why it was there. I took my truck to MEINEKE and they assured me they could fix it and they did. If your mechanics arent qualified enough to do the repair then dont tell people you can fix it. This place cost me money and didnt care about it.

This place is completely unprofessional. They do not understand what an appointment is. I scheduled an appointment to have a muffler put on my truck when I arrived I was informed it would be about 20 minutes and someone would call me and tell me the price. An hour later and I still haven’t heard anything so I go to pick up my vehicle and asked what was taking so long and was informed that the tech had to finish an alignment on another car and they had to locate a muffler for my truck. Then why give an appointment for a time you cannot meet, with parts you don’t have?

My first time there and it was great. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this place to everyone I know.

I had a wonderful experience. Matt explained everything to me, called to follow up on the progress, let me know when my car was ready, and had it waiting for me at the door for pick up. I will be back and will encourage all my family/friends to go also. BTW - they do more than just mufflers.

I am very distrusting of car mechanics after several bad experiences, but I cannot recommend this Midas highly enough. Rick Best is the name of the manager and his absolutely first class. He answers questions, resolves issues, and will respect customer wishes. This Midas will tell you the issues with your vehicle and allow you to make a pressure free decision on repairs that are needed. Most importantly this Midas stands by their work like no other car repair shop I have ever dealt with. Will not take my car anywhere else!

Sent an online inquiry about my rotors. Online it says someone will call you within 6 hours. I received that call in about 30 minutes. Jason was very professional via phone. I was advised of the sale they are running for the month of February. I came in 30 minutes before closing and turned out I needed to replace rotors as opposed to resurfacing. Explained and gave me a visual of the issue. All part store drivers were gone so Midas employee had to pick up the rotors. All in all they took care of me and in a professional manner.

I brought in my boyfriends car for an oil change. Jason was professional, and friendly. There were a few other things our car needed to have done but he did not try to over sell me on things we did not need. I have been to several Midas locations over several years and this location was by far the nicest, cleanest, and most knowledgeable. I will definitely come back and recommend this store.

Very happy with the diagnosis of my 02 Excursion 7.3 Diesel hydraulic brake booster on 23May16. All I needed was more power steering fluid! I had not kept up with the level for a while and thought I had a $500+ problem that, thanks to Midas Lexingtons careful and honest review it was a $30 problem solved! Thanks for making my trip more bearable.

This was my first time to Midas. They were all very knowledgeable, professional, and they treated me like family. The technician Ron was the best ever. He was fixing my car from 5 min oil doing it wrong, but he also made my car run better by catching some other things that were wrong with it. I was in and out in an hour! Chase that worked the front desk knew all prices and products without hesitation. Overall I will not be going anywhere else for any work that needs to be done. Midas is by far the best!!

Highly recommend. Ive taken my Mazda there for service and have never had a problem. The Managers and the Staff are friendly and Im usually in and out relatively quickly. These guys really know what theyre doing.

I brought my car in for service and to have my milky looking headlights refinished during the process they buffed the paint off of my bumper. Tried to hide it then admitted it... Now they are being very rude to me and refusing to fix my car. I will never spend another dime with this place.

Took my car for an oil change and tire rotation. They called me and said that I needed back brakes and the rotors refinished, and after thinking about it I decided to go ahead with the recommendation. I also told them that while traveling down interstate at 80, then having to slam on brakes, the wheel would shimmy bad. They said it had to be front rotors needed refinishing, also. Went with all recommendations. Fast forward one week while traveling in Charleston, I had this old lady come barrelling towards me from the side, and due to me visiting Midas, I was able to Stop!!! Had I not had brakes and rotors work, I would Not have been able to Stop!! I Definitely would recommend Midas in Lexington!! Thank you for taking good care of me and my car!

Grenaded my water pump while merging on I20 the Friday of Memorial weekend. Called them up and they arranged for a tow to the facility, quickly assessed the damage and even stayed late 1.5 hours after closing to ensure i was able to continue on my journey West. Excellent customer service!

I usually dont use Gmail and this is the only one I can remember, which was made in 6th grade, so ignore the name please. I just wanted to say that I have been to this location twice now for exhaust work. The first time was to replace all of the exhaust clamps with welds and they did a great job and its solved all of my rattling and drone issues. In the past week I noticed a rattle coming from somewhere underneath my car. I took it back to them and explained what was going on and they quickly repaired it with me going in and out in less than 30 minutes and at no charge. They are some of the most friendly, outgoing, fast and efficient service writers and technicians. I highly recommend their work.

My wife went in for an oil change. They did a great job on that. Then they told her the serpentine belt badly needed replacing. She called me, I told her I could do it myself. I just bought one and popped the hood. No significant sign of wear on the current one.Stop trying to sell people things they dont need.

Went in for an oil change and had a recommendation for approximately $2000 worth of repairs. Was told I had a major leak and it needed to be repaired soon. I had another evaluation and it was not anything like what Midas told me. One item recommended to be repaired my Midas did not even need to be done. Very dissatisfied with Midas and wont return.

I was crossing over the dam about 3 weeks ago when it was pouring down rain. The rubber part of my windshield wiper broke off the arm, fell against the windshield and slid down in the crack on top.the hood. I pulled over, tried to reattach it with no luck, in the rain while Lexington 500 zoomed past me. I get back in the car and slowly drive to the top of North Lake Drive and see Midas at the top of the hill. As I pull in for help, the rain literally stopped and the sun came shining down on Chase, the guy that works there and smiled in greeting as he walked out of the storefront. He quickly reattached the piece to the arm and with the biggest smile said, there ya go, and the sun is out now. I was so happy to have him help me. He didnt charge me and I was grateful, not just for the help, but he genuinely wished me to have a better day. I love that Midas is in my neighborhood!!

I had an oil change here yesterday. Pretty quick and nice service. I have an oil leak and the quote to fix it was comparable to other locations so I will go back and have that done. Im not entirely impressed with this location based on a quote for a cabin air filter replacement. I asked one of the techs about how much it would cost, figuring maybe around $25. While I was there, I might as well. So the guy comes back with a quote of almost $60 to replace a $15 dollar part that takes all of 5 minutes for an experienced mechanic. I feel that this quote was inflated due to the fact that I was a young female. I really hate that mechanics try to take advantage of young females trying to maintain their vehicles.

No appointment, did a wonderful job on our motorhome rear brakes that started to smoke on the last 5 miles of our trip from Florida, thank you Banks and your team

This company is a total rip off!!! 6 months ago i had brought them my car 95 mustang for suspension,oil change,and throttle position sensor repair. These items were supposed to be replaced. I suffer from cancer,so I wasnt able to drive the car afterrepairs were supposed to have been done. This past weekend my girlfriend brought it to a friend to repair a leak. Hes a professional. Turns out midas charged me $980 for repairs that were not done. The parts that were supposed to have been fixed hadnt even been touched. 30 day warranty,so i was screwed.With my experience i would never recommend midas for any type of repair!!!! I would have given them a negative review but the site wont allow it.

-Update- Management reached out to me quickly to help find a resolution. Remembered me by name from years before and has been extremely helpful in rectifying this situation.

I only give them one star because they were nice. Well kind of. I had two different vehicles they screwed up on. One, they didnt tighten a bolt so the calipers were falling. The other vehicle, I took in 4 different times. After the third attempt, they finally grinded the rotors right but I still have a squealing issue. They cant seem to get anything right.
