Top notch service from Junior as always! Did a ton of paint work and installed/paint matched my spoiler. I am super picky about my car and this is my go to shop for all body work. Great communication while my car was at their shop and great quality work.

Excellent work by Junior and his team! I needed some work done on my front bumper including minor repair and paint. Mal’s got the car looking perfect! Junior was extremely helpful and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. Very communicative, responsive and honest. Highly recommend taking your car here!

Great prices and better service

Went here for an inspection sticker and the guy helping me was very short and would not give me a time estimate on how long I would have to wait. When my car was done the sticker was put on crooked and the old glue was still stuck on below it. The one thing to do was put the sticker on straight but they couldn’t even do that. I am not going back to this place.

This is about the Arlington location. Its also about the repair shop and not the auto body shop. I have encountered rudeness at the auto body shop but not at the auto repair shop. the latter has friendly personalized service with employees that remember who you are and really care about making sure you get sufficient repairs at a reasonable price. When I leave, I feel good about the experience every time. These are great people!

Been working with Jimmy-Mals at Mals and they have been great. From towing my car to discussion on repairs and cost, they have been upfront. They have made a bad situation less painful. Thanks.

Mals saved me when my oil lines ruptured while I was driving on 95. I had no idea what was wrong with my car but it felt like something really bad when all the check engine lights came on. I was towed there at noon and they were able to quickly diagnose what was wrong with the car, order parts and get it fixed correctly by the close of business that day. I was over an hour from home and considered going to the Toyota dealership because I was in an unknown area but I have a feeling I saved a fortune at Mals. I would recommend them to anyone.

What an amazing local shop. They have been in business for many years. Mal is the owner and his sons run the business. It is a very fair and honest business. They are always busy and you may have to wait but that is due to the great quality of the place. They will always tell you exactly whats wrong with the car and what you need. You will not be disappointed with the end result. Just be patient.

My Lexus RX GPS screen is black out and I took to Mal’s auto and I was told to leave the car there. I was called to pick my car afternoon and told to go to dealer to replace new one and I was told to pay $195 because they run the computer through. First of all, nobody called me to ask my authorized the service, secondly why you run computer for? It was totally rip off the customer without any ethical. I will tell my community to boycott this auto service because you will spend money to buy the nightmares.

Run for the hills. High fees, hidden fees and inflated prices. They don’t accept check or credit card payments. Charged me three days “storage fee”even though they had it less than 48 hours because I picked the car up after12pm. Then I was planing on having it towed to another garage and they wanted $108 as a yard fee to have another company come on their lot. I drove the car next door and called AAA. I recommend anyone Avoid this establishment.

I just got some paint work back from Mals and everybody is stunned at how amazing it looks. I can see my reflection in the paint perfectly from how awesome they did it. Whoever sprayed it and buffed it has got some crazy talent!!

Mal is an extremely decent human being who understands that everyone goes through low points, everyone needs help sometimes. He worked out a deal with us so that we could afford to get the car out and make weekly payments to him for the balance. I thank god for good people like him! I will be baking him and his shop a cake next week!

I have had several of my own vehicles repaired at Mals the past few years. I work in the automotive industry and know exactly what to look for and these guys are awesome! Their work is incredible I have never had a complaint. Family owned and operated! Call and ask for Mal Junior.

Friendly courteous staff

I have had multiple cars repaired at the body shop. Each time the repairs were done right and completed on time. The paint finish was as good as the factory finish. (Im picky and notice if theres orange peal) The price has always been very reasonable and lower than local hack shops. Will continue to work with Mals. Thanks Junior.

Worst service I have ever dealt with. Had a flat tire and saw the car sitting on the road at 6am, they call me to say the car is on the lift and it will be $120 to put on a new tire because it cant be patched. Car was never on the lift bye. It was in same spot when I went down Low and behold another place I had it towed to patched it. It had a nail in it. So mechanics at Mals are incompetent. Avoid them at all costs. Theyre scam artists.

Superb body work! Ive relied on them over twenty 20 years for major front end crash work to most recently a surface reconditioning of my Porsche Carrera paintwork. Jim and Bob and Mal and staff are terrific.

When they were towing a truck they ended up tearing out the wiring of one mans home. this made it so he couldnt heat his house in a god damn snow storm. wanna know what they did? absolutely nothing. these people are garbage, look else where.

The only person more incompetent than the mechanics at Mal’s is I: I decided to take my 2008 Prius there even after reading all the horrendous reviews. But it was only to switch the snow tires back to the regular ones. What could go wrong?Let me tell you. First of all, when the car came back, not only did they switch the tires, but performed an oil change, which I hadn’t asked for, and tried to charge me for it. To their credit, they agreed to take it off the bill. That was the only good thing that happened at Mal’s.Over the next few days, I detected a faint oil smell every time I started the engine. Then I noticed oil spots under the car. I took it in to the Toyota dealers just to have a look at it. They said the entire engine was splattered with oil. The Mal mechanic had neglected to put the oil cap back on! They tried to clean it, but the engine was a mess. Then they said that the nuts they put on to secure the wheel were the wrong kind, and did not fit securely on the hubcap. They fixed it at Toyota, and advised me to return to Mal’s and explain – that surely they would refund my money.Hah! They denied everything, and said I should have brought it back to them to fix. Right! I am going to bring it back to someone who doesn’t even know how to change the oil?So please, don’t be stupid. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO MAL’S, FOR ANYTHING!

DANGEROUS, FRIGHTENING AND FRUSTRATING. I picked up my car after Mals had it for more than eight weeks, despite being told it would be ready soon on multiple occasions. Less than 25 miles later the rear tire came off my car. They never tightened the lug nuts. As I brought the car under control the tire went across the road and hit a van coming the other way. Fortunately, I was not on Rt 128 where I had been earlier, where the incident could have been tragic. Mals repaired the damage quickly this time. When I asked about any compensation, Mals response was No. Nobody was hurt, we paid for the repair and we cant afford anything more. So much for good will.Do not go to Mals and if your car is ever towed there, have another body shop pick it up.

I had my car towed here because it stopped because of the alternator going out on I-95. They wanted $900 to fix my car, and I got an estimate from another mechanic for $275. Then when I told them I wanted to tow my car off their lot and to another mechanic they said there was a “yard fee” of $100 to take my car off their lot and a $70 storage fee also. I was about to call the police and argue this out with them but when I showed up they brought the price down from what they quoted me on the phone and I only had to pay for the tow and the diagnostic they ran to diagnose the problem with my car. Had I not argued it out with them on the phone though they would have billed me a crazy amount. I wouldn’t advise going to this garage for anything or have your car towed here if you are in need.

I brought my car in for a simple oil change. After waiting over 3 hours, the car was returned to me with dirty smudges all over the interior. When i asked the salesman pauly he told me to wait a minute and he would take care of it. Well that never happened! Pauly was very rude and I got the impression he wanted nothing to do with me because i didnt go for the 1000 dollar brake job he said I needed. Pauly is a scam artist!

My sons vehicle (VW Jetta) was in a collision and towed to Mals, which I had never heard of. The car had both mechanical and body damage and I was happy to learn they do both so I didnt need to take it to multiple places. I spoke with my insurance adjuster and Mal Jr. on several occasions and we negotiated a fair price to have the car repaired. The work was completed within the time promised and the quality was excellent. Mal made a point to say they would stand behind it forever if anything came up and I have no reason to doubt that. He also made a downward adjustment to the bill for work they did not need to do and even did a few items items above and beyond, including an interior cleaning. I highly recommend this company based on my one experience.

I went to mals to have some work done on my 2014 Toyota Camry. I left the car at the shop for the day and ended up paying over the phone with a credit card. I believe the salesman kept my credit card number and possibly tries to use it. I cannot say for sure,but I believe this to be the case.Do not trust the sales ppl at this shop with tour credit cards

Just got ripped off for $130. Driver was told by police that my car didnt need to be towed after it was hooked up and they refused to put the car back down and told me they would drive me to an ATM so I could give them the cash they demanded. Told me it would only be $90 and then changed it to $95 and then charged me $5 per mile and then charged a fuel surcharge. Truly horrible company. Stay away.

Had my car towed there after an accident.last night they told me 170 to get my car now its over 200 and hasnt been a day yet.now even more fees just to open the gate. DONT GO HERE!!

My car was towed to this business and my belongings were STOLEN from the glove compartment. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!
