Wonderful mechanic. Loricks was the only one in town willing to work on my 2007 Chevy Aveo as a walk in with headlights I had already purchased. They got it done quickly, and did good work. They informed me that one of my headlight brackets had been broken but my car was still safe to use, which I wasnt aware of. Best of all, they chose not to charge labor for the installation! If my car ever has issues again while Im down in Columbia Im definitely going back, as this was the best service Ive had at an auto shop in quite a while.Edit: I am also a trans woman and they still treated me with respect as if I were any other customer. I was a bit scared at first because of it, but these truly are kind people.
I was a dealer mechanic decades ago. When I moved into management, I rarely worked on my own car anymore. Finding an honest mechanic was always a challenge. With my experience, I could tell quickly when a mechanic was padding a bill or just plain lying. NONE of that happens at Loricks. Jamie and Mike are honest People, and will help you get your car back on the road for the most reasonable cost. They will tell you what you need, and what you DONT need, and they know exactly how to get your car right. They are BUSY, thanks to a great reputation. No, they did not pay me to write this. They EARNED every word by taking great care of my cars for the past 16 years.
Mike and Jamie are terrific. An honest mechanic is hard to find. So glad I found one. I recommend Loricks to all my friends. They are very knowledgeable and polite too and go above and beyond for their customers.
I am customer #6, but would have #1 if I left my car that day. So happy to have Loricks as my only car repair shop for over..20? Ikn years, however long they have been open... I actively recommend.
Absolutely outstand service!!! 11/10 for them!! Because of them I am able to get my vehicle going this weekend!
Great mechanics that know what they are doing. Honest people who complete quality work to give you the feeling of a new ride.
Back in November I took my car to Loricks because my Chrysler 200 kept stalling when the engine was cold. After a brief check they found out that there was no oil in the engine. Evidently when I took it to the dealership for an oil change they failed to put in new oil. After Loricks put in oil the stalling issue immediately went away. I needed another oil change today because I needed an oil change and tire rotation. They told me of a price increase because the price of synthetic oil went up. They also recommended that I replace the air filter. Total price was slightly above $100.00. Truth be told I was a bit surprised but not enough to stress over. Im very confident that when I check the oil in a few weeks because of Loricks I will (unlike the car dealer) find oil on the dipstick. I highly recommend Loricks and will continue to take my business there.
On this visit to Loricks Automotive they serviced my a/c. They were fast and as always ready to get me headed back on my way to my busy life. They got me in the shop with a quick phone call and did the repair and it was just so easy to get it done.I have used Loricks for about 8 years on two different cars and they have always been courteous, professional and quick to get my car back to me. The office staff, not just office staff, knows and seems to be trained in the repair work as it is done also. I have never had a bad experience at Loricks. And I appreciate the hard work and availability they put in to our community. My thanks go out to all the team at Loricks Automotive. Very Sincerely, Robin C.
Fair & Honest Folks at this shop! They always seem to work us in even when it seems like they are up to their armpits in work. I really only go to places I trust and I definitely trust the folks at Loricks for our vehicle needs! Good People!
Courteous, helpful, awesome service, fair pricing!.... great value!
For some reason my power shifting went out, these guys got me in and out with no hassle at all. Will be back for common tune ups.
Just visited yesterday for my car to be serviced. Jamie Lorick and his Team are all very knowledgeable and they treat everyone with the same courtesy and friendliness. I’ve known Jamie a long time, he and my husband worked together at Hancock Buick and we have been friends all these years. Since my husbands death, I wouldn’t trust anyone else to service and repair my car. They treat women the same way they treat men, listen to our issues and make suggestions to solve them.Good, solid Christian atmosphere, would recommend them to everyone.
Best place Ive found around.
Great service!
This is a family-owned business and you can tell from the moment you walk in. They treat you with respect give you a no-nonsense approach and always give you a front price before they do the work on your vehicle. Once you okay it they are doing it by the 24 hours from now 48 max if you have to order a part and they always keep you up-to-date. I absolutely love them and Ive had lousy Auto Repair prior to this so these people are absolute treat.
Absolutely amazing work. Honest guys ans affordable. We just moved to Lexington and I know this is the only place Ill trust with my old car
They charge me $580 to change 8 spark plugs and 1 coil pack. I wont ever go back with those rates.
Never have we been treated so well!!!Had a break down while traveling.Mike took us in, served us like special guests and also had his Dad chauffeur us around like royalty!!! And THEN didnt charge enough to take his family out for fast food!!!!!!Wish I could give 100 stars. We cannot express our gratitude enough.
Me and my husband took our 2006 Kia optima to get our alternator replaced and it took them 3 days to do nothing besides replace the battery which wasnt the issue to begin with + recharge our alternator. We Were Not Taken Care Of Properly
Loricks = Straight Shooters. Pleasant people well versed in the field of automobile mechanics, they also treat the customer with thoughtfulness. Very competent. Theyve earned my trust.
These guys look out for your car and just as important, your wallet! Without going into too many details, they were honest with me about not gambling to get to a part on my car which could’ve caused more damage than it’s worth (because of a lot of accumulated rust.) I will not go to any other mechanic as long as I live here.
Took my car in for routine maintenance and to see why my engine light came on. Was informed the light was on for an insignificant reason. They fixed the problem plus did all the routine maintenance for cheaper than what I would have paid at the dealership. I also had my car back quickly. These are good, honest people, who arent out to price gouge customers. I would recommend them to all who need car repairs.
Brought my wife’s van in for an A/C issue. Was told up front there may be a fee for the test, depending on whether or not a machine needed to be used. After a technician took it back for testing, he returned and told me there was enough dye that leaked out that he knew exactly what it was without having to hook it up to the machine. Saved about $100 right off the bat, where many shops would have charged for a test they never had to perform. All employees were very friendly and Mike in particular was extremely helpful. My part was ordered immediately and the repair (as well as an oil change I added on) was performed professionally and in a very timely fashion. We have definitely found our new local mechanic shop for both her van and my truck! Friendly service, fair prices, honest people, clean environment and a true neighbor in Lexington, SC! Thank you Lorick’s!!
It’s wonderful to have an honest, fast and quality repair service so close to home. They have provided us with great service twice now. And though I hate the cost of having to repair our vehicles from time to time, Lorick’s doesn’t break the bank and doesn’t give me anxiety about it.
All I wanted was the truth about the condition of my vehicle. So many other places could not offer this to me. The other places only offered me partial truths that required me to keep spending more money. However, Loricks told me the whole truth about my vehicle. They took me underneath my vehicle and pointed out the problem area so I could see for myself. It was clear that the vehicle wasnt worth fixing and they told me this as well and advised me it was time for a replacement. I replaced it and took the new one straight to Loricks. It needed brakes and price for the repair was not insane like other places. All I wanted was honesty and that is what I received. Thanks for the great service.
John and Jamie of Loricks Auto Repair are gems. I had a tire tread separation and made it to exit 58s exit ramp. The experience of losing a tire tread traveling over 70 MPH had me very shaken up. I found this shop with my mapping app and barely caught John as he was about to go home for the day - close to 6 p.m. He told me they didnt deal in tires, but that hed come help me. He gave me his cell number, took mine and got there in under 15 minutes. He actually had to pick up my car to get the jack under it because it was sitting on the rim - there was no way I could have done this myself. There was an issue with my spare and so we hopped in his truck and went to the shop where they just happened to have a tire that would fit my car! At one point, I had black stuff all over my hands - I was trying to help this man all I could! John went and got a towel from his truck so I could clean my hands.Overall, the guys at Loricks are upstanding and honest - a must for a good auto shop. But additionally, they are caring and compassionate and I think my closest brush with angels on earth. John even called me the next day to make sure everything had gone ok on the rest of my drive back to Charlotte!Thank you John and Jamie!!!
If you want a different kind of mechanic meaning one that is honest and not out to take every dime to your name, then this is the place. Loricks Auto is the best, honest, Christian, will go the extra mile to fix what is wrong.
Honest, hard working, fantastic crew, great people. Our Subaru came back running rough after a valve job (somewhere else) and they tenaciously traced the problem to a bad ground wire. Reasonably priced. Once mess something up and fixed it with an apology no charge. You can trust them.
We were visiting family and on our way back north when our car was overheating. We turned around to head back to GA and took the first exit. Fortunately there was a gas station so we could put water in the radiator. We drove back to the interstate and missed the exit. When turning around we noticed a garage. We pulled in were informed that they were closing but would be happy to help us out. The mechanics looked at the car for 2 minutes pulled it into the garage and in less than 30 minutes we were back on the road north. If it wasnt for these kind and professional employees we would have been stuck for another day or 2. Thank you for helping us get home. May God bless you
While visiting Lexington from Nashville the power steering pump went out on my 2001 Chevy pickup and I went to Lorick at 8 AM on Monday morning. They were kind enough to start on it right away and had me back on the road in a few hours. Great service and I highly recommend them!
Excellent place to take vehicles who do honest work.
I have been a customer for years and Im always very satisfied. Jamie and the staff are competent, friendly and trustworthy.
Great service and prices
Honest and friendlyFirst I did not want to take my vehicle to a national chain shop. I decided on Loricks and I am so glad I did. Honest and friendly. Thanks Mike for making Loricks my choice in Lexington for my auto repair needs.
We were passing thru and the Jeep broke down, so we got it towed to Loricks. The guy was very nice and said he could help us and keep our car for a week. Well, a week goes by and I didnt hear, so I called, and they said they were about to get to it. I had one day before I needed the car and they hadnt even looked at it. It was an older Jeep, a very simple design, and I felt confident it was a very minor problem like an ignition coil, spark plug wire or a sensor. After calling them three more times, he finally told me at 3 pm on Friday (I needed the car next day, they were closed) that it needed a new distributor, which seemed like more than it really needed. This part is only about $60. My bill was $320, which was high. Next day, I get in the car, it runs ok for about 15 minutes, then starts sputtering and dies. I manage to get it to Oreillys and I replaced the ignition coil myself in the parking lot. I had told the guy this is what I thought the problem could be. Well, car fired up and made the three hour drive with no problem. I paid way too much for a repair that took way too long and did not fix the problem.
Jamie and his team are the best in the business. You can trust in Loricks
I had some repairs done to my Eclipse- they got the repairs done in more than sufficient timing and they kept me updated me on my repairs. As a busy full-time college student and work this was one less thing for me to stress over! Thank yall so much!
Great place to get your vehicle fixed
Reliable, trustworthy, and friendly. I wont take our vehicles anywhere else for maintenance if I can help it.
My dad is a mechanic and normally does any work required on my truck. My truck broke down in such a way that I could not transport it to my dads shop - he saw the work that Loricks Auto did and described it as clean and having been done for a very good price - I will always go to Loricks from now on.
Honest and fairly priced. Helped us quickly when our car acted up day before vacation.
The best in town. These guys do great work at great prices.
Great service performed very timely by honestand experienced people at a reasonable price.
Friendly, honest service at a great price!
It took them 6 weeks to fix my car. Although it was a large job, I felt I was strung along for several weeks. I suggest them for small jobs, but beware if you have a bigger problem.
Very professional.
Great service
