The communication from them letting me know the status of the job being done is really the best I’ve ever encountered. Everything was perfect. I was kept in the loop each step of the way. All of the staff was kind and respectful on every interaction. I dropped off my Mustang last Thursday and now its the next Friday. I was told everything would be finished by Monday. Monday came around they had to order a special part. Everything will be done Tuesday. Tuesday, the technician called in sick. Was told that everything will be done by Wednesday at noon. Wednesday comes around oh we cant get it done because the rust strip the bolt. Have to special order another bolt from Ford. Everything will be done by Thursday by noon. Thursday by noon comes around its not ready because nobody decide to pick up the part from Ford or Ford decided not to drop it off. Everything will be ready by Friday by noon they said. I drove by and its now 11:20am. and they arent remotely done with my car. I work in another city that over a hundred miles away. They have cost me more money than what the repairs are going to cost. I could have taken it to another place and they guaranteed and they have not let me down but I convinced that they were quick and fast and reliable. Theyre not quick and fast and no matter what you tell them it seems to be an excuse oh the rust and unforeseeable things. Guess this is understanding but to kick the bucket down the street for four days straight is unacceptable they did not offer to help remedy any of the problems they didnt offer a discount for the problems that they bestowed on me. And money I am losing for not being at work. The only discount that I got was my military discount. They didnt offer to take a percentage off because they kicked the bucket down the road for four days straight going on five. Its now Friday and theyre closed on the weekends Will I get my car by the end of today or am I going to be up Creek without a paddle for another 3 days. I am writing this review before Ive got my car back. Hopefully there is no retaliation or shabby work that would be done to my car. But I have never been to an automotive repair shop that has kicked the bucket down the road for four days straight and I had my transmission changed all the way to the other little things as lower tie rods from the driver side. By the way the passenger side tie rods were to be replaced by them. I understand the car is a little rusty on the bottom its a northern car but not for 4 days this is truly unacceptable. I will not promote nor advocate for them if anybody ever asks if they need a good automotive repair shop.

Great place with great service. Took my F250 in for tire rotation and the folks gave me a detailed description (with pics) on condition of my tires. Very professional and friendly staff. I will certainly be back!

I brought my car in because my brakes were completely shot. My cars from NY so heavy rust. Was told they’d call me in an hour with a quote. 2.5 hours later I called them to see what was going on. Was told it was still being looked at yet when I was given the quote it said the mechanic had finished his quote at noon and it was now 2:30. Strike one. Quotes me for brakes, rotors and calipers at $2,200. Was told brakes were ceased and there was no way to fix without replacing everything. Found additional issues that jumped my quote to $3,800 including a rusted exhaust. Mind you there no hole or noises with said exhaust so why fix what’s not broken? I called a mechanic friend and he laughed about it. Told me to have them put it back together and he will fix it. They told me that 6 lug nuts were rusted to the point of not going back on. Asked them to replace them so I could drive to my friends house. Get to friends to see two lug nuts missing. Paid them $50 for 6 lug nuts and got 4. Lug nuts are about $2.50 per so $35 in labor to put on 4 lug nuts that they had to take off to do the inspection anyway. Guess that’s how they make up for a free quote. Luckily a few hours and $150 in parts and my car is fine. Calipers that they wanted to replace had nothing wrong with them, just rusted. Brake pads all around and a good cleaning and I’m back on the road. My aunt and cousin have brought their vehicles here for years and my aunt even said she won’t be going there for repairs anymore. I was really hopeful as they had great things to say about this shop. Always get second opinions people and if you can just buy the parts and have a friend help. Felt very taken advantage of as I don’t know much about cars. This entire experience did not seem very Christian at all.

The guys at Christian Brothers are top notch. They listen, they make sure they understand and they are genuinely nice guys. They have 3 master mechanics who do everything right the first time. I am leaving on a trip this week. Took it in just to make sure it was ready. They checked out every system on the car, topped off a couple of fluids and didnt find any other problems. Do you know what they charged me? Nothing. Nada. Zilch! I dont know many places in town who would do that. They arent the cheapest in town, but in my book they are, by far, the best. I am on a limited budget, but I will find other ways to economize. Christian Brothers has my business!

Flawless... called and told them my car wouldn’t start after contacting the dealer and being told it would take 14 days to “get me in”... Christian brothers got me in next day, replaced a battery and tested the rest of the car, and sent me on me way that afternoon.The best part? Mechanic meets modern world... they text you every step of the way! I knew when my car was being worked on, when they were done, and when they needed to tell me what was wrong, they explained it very thoroughly.I won’t bring my suburban anywhere else.

I’ve been to many shops. This is the best one by far. These guys will walk you through step by step of what needs to be done and why. They take videos of certain inspections being done to show you visually why the work needs to be done to begin with. They even put the work that needs to be done in chronological order. I arrived at CBA in a panic after my A/C stopped working and my red battery light came on just as I was about to travel over 100 miles on the interstate in 90+ degree weather. Although they were completely booked, they looked for the problem, identified the 2 broken belts and replaced them in an incredibly timely manner. I was back on the road and home in time for dinner reservations! So incredibly thankful for the service!!! I highly recommend!!!

Christian Brothers Automotive is always fair. They give more thorough explanations than is the norm for the auto repair industry. Prices are reasonable, and one generally has the impression that they are actively trying to save money and only recommend what is needed. Consequently theyll get more business because the customer will continue coming back, as opposed to making a killing once but never seeing the customer again. I took my car to Christian Brother’s auto because Car Max couldn’t service my car. The staff at Christian Brother’s Auto are prompt and professional. They treated me and my car like we were the only people at the facility. I was sent updates and pictures of my vehicle. Scheduled a general oil change with Christian Brothers since my regular mechanic has unfortunately become unreliable due to piling up work. I’m very, very particular with my vehicle, so I wanted it to go to the most highly recommended/rated facility within the Lexington area. Service was prompt and VERY thorough. All the pictures and break down of everything was so cool. It’s extremely beneficial, just in case you stop at a different location in another state. It was a really great experience and everyone appeared to be knowledgeable. The only reason I’m not giving five stars is because the parking is quite tight, and I’m pretty nervous about parking close to people, which is your only option there. Haha, I don’t want door dings! They could definitely use a bigger parking pad. Otherwise, it was great and I’m glad my RAV has a new home!

From the moment I called they were extremely kind and professional. I honestly have never been to an auto shop like this before. I had some questions on how my oil was burning and one of the gentleman actually drew up a diagram for me and explained it all in detail. Very professional, very HONEST (I thought I had an oil leak-in fact I was sure I did, and they told me I did not. Once your warranty expires there should be no reason to ever go back to a dealership service department again unless you just want to buy parts that you don’t need at outrageous prices.

It was my very first time as a customer and it wont be my last. As a first time customer I was greeted respectfully and welcomed like family. Customer service did a wonderful job taking my info and even offered me a drink all while making sure I was comfortable as I waited for my car to get serviced. Upon my car getting serviced Jerem went over all my car inspections of what I need to get serviced in the future. He thoroughly gave me a class on everything I needed done and not just give me a sheet of paper to figure it out on my own but he went over everything once by one. My oil changed was a decent price didnt hurt my pockets at all. I left there feeling extremely satisfied and to add that not all service shops are blindly getting over on people but at Christian Brothers they are fair and friendly people and they definitely earned my respect and I will definitely do business with them again and I would also recommend to friends and family as well.

My air conditioner was not working well. air was not cold enough especially in hot weather. asked another mechanic to look at it and I don’t know what they did it to my car. I noticed after that it was worse. We tried to recharge it. It did not work either. CBA did a diagnosis for the car. It was actually too much Freon in the system. They pulled out 17 oz of Freon and it is working like it should be. Much needed cool air in the hot weather. Really appreciate them. They are always so professional and honest, they do a very good job to take care of my cars. It seems that good mechanics are hard to find nowadays. But I’m really lucky CBA is right near the entrance of our neighborhood. My son once had a flat tire. They helped to put the spare on the car for free. My son told me that CBA got his car service business for life. If you are looking for professional honest mechanics. CBA is your best bet!

Had a four o’clock appointment on Friday for a routine oil change. As I waited in their waiting room several customers would come-in for their schedule appointments.Listening to Cristian Brother’s explanation of the work preformed on their cars. The only mechanic I will ever use again! They are so nice and helpful. Asked them to look over my Kia Sportage and not only did they give me a detailed list of what i needed done, they also took pictures of the issue. I also felt their pricing was extremely fair compared to other mechanic shops in the area.

But once we got our vechial back we noticed that our 2 full gas cans on the back of our truck was messed with and one of the guys they have working for them stole gas out of one of them in the middle of this gas shortage and we have to make it across country to texas smh. My vehicle was sent here since it was under warranty. Best service Ive ever had from a mechanic. They were in constant contact with me while my vehicle was there and were always available for calls. My favorite part was they texted me a detailed report of my car complete with pictures.The shop is almost an hour from my home, if they were closer I would use them for all of my needs.

I brought my vehicle in to have diagnostic testing done to determine why my vehicle wasn’t running correctly. They ran several diagnostics. Everything was explained in great detail. I received an email with an attachment containing a full breakdown of issues and pictures with explanations. They are wonderful. I plan on having any repairs done through them now and going forward. They don’t hide anything and feel they are upfront and honest.

I called around to get an alignment done on my car.I decided on this place, scheduled appointment, went in, they were ready when they said they would be and work got finished in a timely manner. Other shops seem to always be 2h behind, I mean how hard is it, if I take the time to set up an appointment and show up at the time, be ready. The punctuality of this shop was a big plus for me.The staff is really friendly and seemed like they genuinely want to help and had good answer to questions I had.I was pleasantly surprised that the price quoted was the price that I was actually charged, other shops always seem to have extra fees they tack on to the final bill, like its a surprise to them that certain consumables were needed to do the job.Based on my experience so far I would recommend this shop to a friend.

I have to say this is the most honest automotive place I have been to in a long time. This place knows how to take care of their customers. They do a inspection of your vehicle if you would like and then go over everything they inspected. Christian Brothers, hands down, is the BEST place and the only place I will ever take my vehicle again.

I have taken 3 different vehicles to this place and every single time I received outstanding customers service that is hard to find these days. They honestly advised me agains the service I thought I needed for my transmission that saved me money. They walked me through all the repairs needed the way I could understand everything and the reason it is being done. When I picked up the vehicle they went outside and showed me everything they did. It’s hard to find an honest shop these days, but I will be taking all of my vehicles there.
