Staff is super friendly. Cars I rent are always clean. Rates are very reasonable. Manager went out of her way twice to get a very popular model (Jeep Wrangler) . Other special accomodations were honored. Will definitely be back!

I was told the office closed at 5pm on Tuesday when I called at 4:25pm they said no one would be in the office to assist me when I got there. I called the 800 number and no one was of help. I was never offered the pick up service even when I told the person at this location I was looking for a way to get there. Terrible service. No refund I still got charged even though I never picked up the vehicle not to mention earlier closure than said business closing hours. This place is a joke

If we could leave less than 1 star I would. Reserved a specific type of car 12 days before we needed it. Called the morning before we were due to pick up and inquired about our car, they stated they did not have the type we reserved (and were paying EXTRA for!!!!!) but they had subbed with a minivan. We OWN. A minivan, if we wanted one, wed use our own!! Told them that was not acceptable, we wanted the type we reserved, they said they would search other locations and see what they could do. My husband made a follow up call 2hrs before we were due to pick up the car and they said they were working on it, trying to get a car from another location.Once we arrived they still did not have our car but one was in route from another location. We had to stand and wait for an hour and a half for the car. We were due to leave on a trip that was delayed by this complete disaster of a Hertz location!Their customer service is horrifying. If you do not have our car (I understand there can be complications or issues) CALL US, thats your job!!!

Do NOT rent from Hertz! I paid $212 for the 3-day rental of a muscle group car (Mustang GT or Camaro SS) but they gave me a Nissan Sentra and would NOT reimburse me the difference in price between the two vehicles, the Sentra would have cost $95 total yet they only gave me a $45 refund. On top of that despite being a gold rewards member i waited for almost an hour to get my car at the rental counter. Very rude and unprofessional rip off artists!

To say they work slowly is an understatement. Ive been sitting here in the lobby for 45 minutes. This is the worst customer service. Barely even acknowledged Im sitting here waiting. This place is terrible. Im now running behind schedule. I wish I could give 0 stars. This is unacceptable. This is insanity. Im now running late for my flight. This place is GARBAGE.

They do not understand what reservation means. I made a reservation a month early and called a few times to verify that what Im reserving WILL be available. I arrived on the scheduled day and lo and behold! My vehicle is not there. There were no upgrades available either. Just a whole bunch of downgrades and smaller cars. Their excuse: Ive only been here a couple weeks and our supervisor isnt here. It isnt worth dealing with this location or company. The people arent properly trained and they cannot keep a reservation. EPIC FAIL!!! I called customer service and I had to go through 7 people/phone transfers to be able to swap out the downgrade for the original reservation at my destination. If I could go back in time I would punch myself in the face for even considering using this Hertz location and I would spend the extra $50 and use Enterprise. Worst. Rental. Experience. EVER!!!

I rented a car through Hertz at this place and it took almost an hour for them to rent me a car that I had already reserved. These people are nothing but cons, they charged me a $100 deposit that I had to call back after 2 weeks of not receiving it. I left a message for the rental person (they have other businesses at this place) and he didn’t even call back, then I forgot and called a week later. The owner gave me a hard time saying it was too early for him (9:00 am) and the car was a mess when It was turned in and with no gas in it! Please, we turned it in to the people there before the drop off deadline and never said a word about it until I called. So he said that would be a $40 charge and supposedly he would reimburse me $60. Obviously he refused to give me my $100 deposit. I’m still waiting for my money back. I will never use this place again.

This rental car facility is the most unprofessional and incompetent business Ive ever dealt with. I dropped off a car I drove from my duty station in South Carolina to this location. I saw an additional $300 charge on my card a few weeks later. After my wife and I made a series of calls to corporate about it (since Lexington Park couldnt disclose that information???) corporate finally said the charge was for smoking in the vehicle. Funny, since we DONT SMOKE and we were the only people in the car. We were sure it was a mistake and thankfully corporate agreed to remove the charge. When my wife called the Lexington Park location for an explanation as to why this was charged in the first place, the associate Bonnie ARGUED that the car was so smoke out and there were ashes everywhere. After my wife advised that was impossible, Bonnies response was I dont see what the issue is... I thought they are refunding you the money....Besides the fact that her response was COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE and UNPROFESSIONAL, if you are going to charge someone $300 dollars you better have proof that the charge is justified. When we went to pick up a car to take back to my duty station, Bonnie called us and asked us to come in early because we scheduled pick up at 12, and the location closes at 12. Dont make a pick available for that time and then call me the morning of because YOU dont want to stay at work a minute past closing. However, we agreed to come in for HER convenience. The second car had an additional mileage charge, which the SC hertz agreed was a MISTAKE and advised us to call lexington park. Called Bonnie. Her answer was call corporate, nothing I can do about it. I suggest using Avis or Enterprise if you are in the SOMD area. Hopefully they arent as incompitent, unethical, and unprofessional as lexington park hertz.
