Rented a handful times from them last summer and this summer. Always on time, never had any issues with quality or cleanliness. These guys are the best. Ive been pretty disappointed by some other rental companies in the area so now I only use Aloha and everything always goes smoothly.

Matt, our Captain, was very knowledge of the lake and catered to our request of a relaxing ride on the lake. Prices were very reasonable and equipment was in great condition. I visited Dallas just for the weekend and my friends and I were looking to rent a boat to take out on Lake Lewisville. I called Aloha Hydrosports hoping to get a rental last minute for the following day. I easily booked a pontoon for 9 people by speaking with the kind and helpful Carl Burmeister. We paid half of the full payment through venmo prior to arriving and the other half upon arrival--very easy! it was $460 for 4 hours for 9 people on a boat and definitely worth the money; Especially because of our Captain, Captain Matt. He was a lot of fun, laid back, but kept us safe--great guy! I will be booking through Aloha Hydrosports if I come back to Dallas and want to have a good time on the water.

Rented a pontoon for my birthday and we had a great time. Our captain was cool and kept us safe. The price was reasonable and Carl was easy to work with. We paid the deposit through Venmo and paid the balance in cash on the day of the rental. I’ll definitely use them again.

We rented the 16 person pontoon boat on Labor Day weekend 2020 and had a blast! Magic Mike was our driver and he was experienced and fun. He took us out to party cove on lake Lewisville and we all had an amazing time. The boat rental process with Carl was easy and he was available to answer any questions we had. I would absolutely rent with Aloha again in the future!

My boyfriend and I were sent over by another company that was booked up and this was the best thing they could have done. We met up with Carl, who was super friendly and very helpful. The Jet Ski he rented to us was super FAST, even with out combined weight. Water was even included in our rental, trust me on those hot Texas days, you will want to take advantage.

Carl is a great guy and was very accommodating and flexible. I gave him late notice about wanting to rent a jetski (which was in great shape) and he made it happen. At first I thought it was strange to do the refundable deposit over venmo, but it actually was a non issue as Carl refunded the deposit immediately back into my account after I returned the jetski.If I am ever in the area and looking to do something like this again, I would not hesitate to be a return customer.

This was our third year renting a boat from Aloha Hydrosports, always great communication and customer service. We have had a driver every year which we love because that means we can all drink with no worries. This year we had Kyle and he was great! We asked to move spots a few times and he never obliged, he even helped us with a friend that had a bit too much to drink. Can’t go wrong with Aloha!!!

We rented a jet ski for one hour on a Friday. My husband and teenage niece had never been on one so I wanted to make sure they got comfortable and liked it before committing to the full adventure. Renting from Aloha Hydrosports was easy, it is a bit pricier than other places and cash only, but he did all the work for us, we just showed up. You get what you pay for, in this case it was a super fun time, top of the line service and a beautiful and fast jetski. He was on time, explained everything clearly and well definitely rent from Aloha again!

Carl at Aloha Hydrosports was awesome. He was very kind and accommodating. He even opened and rented to us on his day off. He made sure everything was just perfect for us. The pontoon boat was in great shape, held a lot of people, and surprisingly was very fast. And even better the prices were best around. We had a great time on the Lake and it was a beautiful day. Background: Rented 2 jet skis on a Saturday with my partner and his family to celebrate his sisters birthday.TLDR: We were lied to, insulted, and almost cheated out of $1000.Advice to customers: Run very very far away from this company and do not look back.This is a long long story.Full story: Just so you guys know, the legal age to operate a jet ski in Texas is 13. This companys website states that you must be at least 27 to rent. My partners aunt is the one who rented the jet skis. His sister (Ill refer to her as SIL) and her friend got their boating licenses to be able to legally drive the jet skis that we rented, and obviously were very excited for that weekend.When we arrived, we were notified that apparently the company has a rule that people younger than 21 are not allowed to drive the jet skis. This rule was not stated anywhere on the website. SIL called Carl (the renter) to explain that she was legally able to operate a jet ski with her boating license, and that he did not convey his rule on his website (I attached screenshots of his website for your reference). He eventually allowed her and her friend to drive the jet skis. Idk why he didnt let them in the first place.As we were returning the skis, Carl claimed that we had done damage to one of them, but the other one was fine. He had us to wait while he got a quote from someone to fix the damage. Then he returned and suddenly changed his mind, saying that there actually was damage on the other ski, and said hed take out whatever sum of money it was from the deposit. He believed that the jet skis were bumped, however no one driving either of the skis even came close enough to bump. When we conveyed that information to him, he said that this was the reason he didnt want people under 21 driving the jet skis because theyre irresponsible and insinuated that we were lying. He claimed to be very professional, but if he was so professional then that information would be stated on his website and he would NOT be insulting his customers.Carl claimed he had photos of the jet ski before he rented it to us. I asked to see them for proof, because there would be a time stamp (he had an iPhone). He said that the photos were on somebody elses phone, so I told him that he could very easily have that person text those photos over. He then said that it was illegal to do that(?)not sure why he thinks its illegal to provide proof of damage. I said very firmly that we did not do that damage, and he asked What do you want me to do, not charge you anything? to which I said Yes duh. He cant even prove that we caused the damage, but he wants us to pay for it anyway?? Huh??At this point, Carl threw his hands up and said I cant do that. One bad review wont do anything to me anyway. My response was Ill make sure there are 7. Carl got in my face, waved his finger, and said Then Ill just keep the whole deposit. (remember, the deposit was $1000). Honestly my blood was boiling and my partners mom told me to take a breath and sit with the others so she could try reasoning with that dingus. As I walked away, he yelled over his shoulder I wont have a child yell at me. ...whining over being called out for cheating his customers..Whos the real child here, Carl?He told us to call the police if we wanted to dispute him, which was a great idea. I cant see a single reason why he would not be at fault. My partners mom told him as much, and finally he settled for taking less than $200. I cant remember the exact amount. He offered a flimsy apology for yelling at me. I told him not to call people in their 20s children, and his only response was that his daughter is 23 and he calls her a child. Newsflash: YOUR DAUGHTER IS YOUR CHILD! NOT ME OR ANYONE HERE!Moral of the story: take photos of anything you rent (jet ski, car, hotel room, literally anything) before and after you use it. Dont rent from this company. Find someone else. Better yet, go to a lake with cleaner water lol.

We rented two jet skis on the 12th from Carl with Aloha Hydrosports. My family and I had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this company. Carl was very courteous and patient with us as a few family members had never driven a jet ski before. After a few minutes of explaining the lake rules and instructing them on the ski, they all felt very comfortable and off we went to enjoy the ride!
