I cant find the words to tell you all how thrilled I am with this company. I called for an estimate on Wednesday, owner Jim Daniels came on Thursday, and today (Friday) the trees were removed. Jims crew arrived early and got right to work. They were so fast and so clean that one of my neighbors hired him on the spot to trim one of his trees. In an hour and a half they cleared FIVE trees, cleaned up beautifully and the price was so amazing that everyone I tell says That cant be right! If you need trees pruned or taken down dont call anyone else. For fair, honest work contact Jim Daniels from Tree King of Long Island, I promise you wont be sorry!

These guys are amazing!!! Second time we used their service and couldn’t be happier. Very organized, proficient, and FAST!!! We had a large tree and shrubs removed, three others trimmed up, and stumps ground down. Clean up was impeccable, and they even chopped up a few limbs for us to keep as fire wood. All done in less than 2 hrs. Pricing was extremely fair and the crew were amazing to work with. Would a 100% recommend them to any one.Bottom line: Great job with fast and quick service.

I had 3 other estimates, Jimmy from Tree King Of LI came with the most reasonable price and I knew from his mannerism he was honest and reliable. He came to do the trimming of branches from neighboring tree that already crushed my shed. I was beyond impressed with his crew, they were very professional, job was done in no time, I highly recommend!!

Called Jimmy to remove two of my humongous trees and a couple of skinny tall trees. Came by right away to give me pricing and details how he will get the job done, by next morning he sent his crew out and got the job done in less than 3 hours. Cleaned up so nicely that i couldn’t figure out where these trees were!

The manager came to my house and promised to do the work within one week. The week came and went ... We talked on phone three times and each time they never showed up. Its week 4 now and same no show. Its a shame because I felt the manager was genuine but turned out to be very unprofessional and a no show.

Dealing with JIm and John was a pleasure right from the start as they issued a quote for the job to be completed that was more than reasonable considering the other quotes I received from other companies. As other companies seemed to be taking advantage of the recent tropical storm we had and the trees were really unsafe and needed to be removed Tree King of LI did not try to over charge due to the circumstances and so I booked them. Jim was a pleasure to deal with. His crew did a great job! The only feedback we can provide would be communication on arrival time could improve. But other than that they did a great job and we had a positive experience. We would absolutely recommend and use them again.

This storm really did a lot of damage all over LI and I get that people are busier than ever. But I too Called & left a message - Jimmy called me back that night at 8pm which I was impressed by. He was really nice & I looked forward to meeting him at my house for the estimate that he said he’d be there for. Jimmy no showed. Left me hanging. No follow up call - no apologies - no explanation. I called twice afterwards to get a call back and left messages. No response.Bad business

Gave the best price. Came and got our big tree down in less than 1 hour and also removed part of a tree in backyard. And removed all the stumps (left us a few for our fire place as per our request) Very quick Very professional would use again and absolutely would recommend to others. Thanks!!

We too chose this company for its competitive pricing. SOOOO PLEASED! These guys said 7 and pulled up by 6:57. Punctual. Made an impressive entrance with all their big trucks and equipment. The man in charge and his crew was polite and very friendly. Wasted no time. A team of 8 took down a large, over 2 story, pine in our yard. Within the hour it was felled, stump ground all was removed and debris cleaned completely! They cleaned the street as well. You would never know they were here. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! As a matter of fact they happen to pick up a job at my neighbors when they were done here. They too were very pleased with Tree King Long Island!

This company was recommended on Facebook and from some friends that used them before . I had storm damage and a tree was lying on my home . They were very good and very reasonably priced as we got a few estimates from other companies . They were on time, friendly, very professional and cleaned up and done in a very timely manor . Jimmy the owner was such a nice man . I would definitely use them again and recommend them .

Jimmy the Tree King of Long island was a true pleasure dealing with. He is an honest man and makes sure the right job is done! I asked him to come by and take a look at a house I own to trim the bottom of the trees which were getting low. He came out and told me the trees really needed trimming away from the house as well as the front of the trees to make them fill in and look better over all. He gave me an estimate which was fair not cheap but fair over all, he said he would call me back with a date. Due to the weather and all the rain lately he was a little backed up but I understand that. He called me the morning of and said his crew would be there in the afternoon. They came out and trimmed the trees as well as removed some dead branches from the back of the house which I completely forgot about. They cleaned up the work area. The only reason you knew they were there is the trees were nicely trimmed up and away, no mess left behind! I will post some pics when it is nicer weather to get a better look. I can highly recommend Jimmy and his team. Money well spent.

I had 2 trees topped and shaped. We were nervous about this - we didnt want to make the trees look odd but we needed more sun on our pool. John and the crew from Tree King did a great job and the trees look good. They covered all surrounding areas with plywood to protect them, but didnt really need to. They were so careful when directing the falling branches. They lowered the larger ones with rope, and cleaned up everything so well. I got calls from John telling me when they would be coming and they were prompt and courteous. I would highly recommend and will use them again in the future.

These guys are awesome. From the first phone to set up an estimate to the day they showed up for the job. They are highly professional and friend. Recently, I was in need of a Tree Removal Company. After much effort seeking a recommendation from family and friends, I came up dry.So once again, I was left to find a reliable, competent and reasonable priced company. Plus the company had to be licensed, insured and accredited by the BBB. After numerous phone calls, estimates and an enormous amount of time, I was fortunate enough to find all of the above in Tree King of Long Island. In addition, they were easy to work with and nice guys! Without a personal recommendation, it is often a challenge to get what you are looking for in a company. So in conclusion, if you find yourself in the same position, try Tree King Of Long Island!!!!

REALLY disappointed. Called & left a message - Jimmy called me back that night at 8pm which I was impressed by. He was really nice & I looked forward to meeting him at my mothers house on Sat morning - which is about an hour away from where I live. Got to her house for our 9am appointment & no Jimmy. Called at 9:25 - got voicemail - left a message. Still no Jimmy - no Tree King - no nothing. Finally left after 2 hours as he left me hanging. No follow up call - no apologies - no explanation - nothing. Thanks for nothing Jimmy. You should only be calling yourself the King of Unreliable.

No need to go anywhere else. I had an 80 year old tree pruned in my front yard and the entire process was seamless. From the initial quote which was quick and professional to the execution of the team trimming the monster tree, these guys were true pros. They showed up on time, did an awesome job and cleaned up to the point that you wouldnt have known they were even there. Dont hesitate to call them for your tree needs.

Wish I read another review from a different site as it happened to that person too.Full Version:On the date and time scheduled to meet with Jim for an estimate he called a couple of hours later saying he was busy at another site and can come by now. Didn’t really matter since I was still around the house. Got the quote and agreed on a date and time to cut the trees. The day of he called early and said he is getting done early at another site and will be at my house by 11:30AM. I told him I can get there around 12 and he said he would be done by then. I rushed out of work and got to my house at 11:30AM and waited until 12:30. Never returned my calls and never heard from Jim again. Don’t waste people’s time. It’s very simple to call, text, or email people these days. I would be weary of the good reviews.

Just had Jim and his crew at my home to remove what would have been weeks of work for me to do. They arrived promptly and began instantly. Six or seven guys all working in unison and talked each part of the yard. 80 feet of shrubs, 65 feet of big shrubs, two big trees in the electrical lines. All the stumps and roots grounded gone. They cleaned up nicely and helped the neighbors navigate out of their driveways.All at a great price. I recommend the Tree King.

I have had Tree King to do work before. A week ago, they removed a tree from my backyard. What a great job they did! Jimmy the boss was there along with four of his excellent workers. They worked very hard and did a thorough clean-up. They will be my tree service when I need it in the future!

I contacted Jim from Tree King from a referral of a neighbor. Jim came out and provided an estimate to remove a cedar tree that was planted too close to the house. Pricing was very fair. Jim and his crew arrived as scheduled and the tree was removed in about two hours time. The crew was very thorough and cleaned up after the removal. I highly reccomend Long Island Tree King.

I needed two large pine trees completely removed. Called Tree King and Jimmy came to give estimate the following morning. I thought the price was fair and agreed to have them do the job. They showed up exactly on time with a big crew and lots of equipment. The entire job was completed quickly, and after the cleanup it was hard to tell that they had even worked there. I have a built-in pool that was just 10 feet from the trees, and I would be hard-pressed to find even a single pineneedle in the pool. The owner Jimmy stayed there for the entire project. What I felt was a fair price was actually a great price for the service I received. I would highly recommend this company to anyone I know.

We called and had an estimate done, price was competitive so we called and set the date for the tree removals. The day came and went with no show up, no phone call, nothing. Very unprofessional, and rude. Regardless of the reason a phone call was due.

The tree on the side of our house became diseased (Verticillium wilt), and needed to come down. We had several estimates -- one of which was unbelievably unreasonable. Mr. Daniels -- aka the Tree King of Long Island -- came the same day I called to give his free estimate. His quote was the complete polar opposite of the other one: Extremely reasonable (I was quite surprised at how good it was to be honest). There was no pressure at all: Mr. Daniels even recommended some trees types to plant when our tree was removed -- no matter who took it down.I called him after making my decision and his team was here bright and early the very next morning. I think it took just over an hour for the tree to be cut and the stump to be gone.If youre looking for speed, efficiency, courtesy and a great price, I highly recommend Tree King of Long Island.Cheers,T

Weve had 8 trees removed by them, 7 were done in 2003 to clear way for a new shed and fence. Then one was removed 4 years ago becasue of disease and to clear the roof for our solar panels.I really HATE having to remove trees, but sadly the one orignal maple left has to go now too. Time to call again!

They are so bad don’t deal with them, they’re not cleaning after their job and they will treat you so bad after they get paid!!!!
