Maintenance team is thorough, efficient and personable.I mentioned a potential issue to leasing office - a ticket was opened for me, maintenance showed up in about an hour and resolved the issue in about 10 minutes.Same individual had resolved a separate item a few days earlier - followed up with me and confirmed satisfaction - they are excellent!

I cant say enough amazing things about this place, and the staff who works here. The apartments are modern and updated and have smart home abilities. The rent is reasonable, and the staff immediately respond and are kind, polite, and helpful, no matter what question or issue you have. This is only the second apartment I have moved in to, but I promise you...if youre considering Chesterfield Apartment Homes, look no further. I dont have one single complaint. Thank YOU Chesterfield, for making finding a home and living in your home a complete and absolute joy. There wasnt one single thing I had issues with upon move in...or even after. The grounds and apartment are clean, safe, well lit, and beautiful...but the staff here truly are the ones who make it home.

Besides my neighbors being extremely pleasant, the leasing office staff, along with their family are great people. They walk, play, mingle with each and everyone one of their residents, Chesterfield is truly a GREAT place to live! It’s a wonderful social fest after work hours, especially during the pandemic they make it a awesome place.

So far so good. The staff are super! The app makes everything easy for payment to work orders. I love the Hub for packages. The grounds are clean and well taken care of. The updates in the home is very modern.Update...3/2021The only problem I have is they say they are family friendly but they are not. Residents hide their children because others complain about them, playing outside, having fun, just about every thing kids do is a problem. For the price I pay I shouldnt have to be worry about my kids being kids.

We moved in about a week ago or so and so far we are extremely happy with almost everything. Theres a few little cosmetic things like paint spots on the floor and a somewhat sloppy paint job in general but compared to some other places I have stayed and stories Ive heard about some apartment buildings I am completely happy with our new home. Also the staff is really great and the amenities are really awesome and different than the standard apartment.

Love the staff here. They care and get to know their residents. Cleanliness is also an expectation for all which is how it should be. Best of all is the location which is close enough to many main roads and great places to visit or eat at.

By far the best apartment complex I have ever lived in. The office staff was always kind and helpful, especially Katrina & Tara who have gone above and beyond too many times to count. Robert and Eric (maintenance) are awesome! They’re fast, easy going and just genuinely nice people. As a newly single mom I was a bit lost on how to do the “manly chores”.. Eric and Robert both came to my rescue for even the smallest things. It truly felt like a small village there, everybody was like a big family. If I didn’t have to relocate out of state, I would have lived there forever.Thank you Chesterfield for the wonderful experience for Skye and I. We will never forget y’all!#D Building

Ive been living here for a year and a half and am very happy. The staff have always been professional and courteous. The maintenance crew is awesome! Ive never had to wait long for any request. The grounds are well maintained and the parking is good and well lit at night. I feel safe here. This was the most important thing in choosing where to live.I honestly have no complaints other than I wish my kitchen was more updated.

This is not my first go-around with Morgan Properties. I lived in one of the companys State College properties a few years ago and moved out shortly after a maintenance crew member drove an ATV through my front window... but thats a story for another time. When I found out that Morgan had taken over at Chesterfield, I cant say I expected a good experience. Communication from management was lacking and confused from day one. Office hours changed, but were not posted. I received a call from the office regarding noise from washers and dryers in our building, asking us not to do laundry after 10 PM. I shared with the office staff member that I rented an apartment in Building N that didnt have a washer dryer and she seemed surprised. It was consistently a case of I dont know whats going on, so I will either ignore your call or make it up on the spot.If you choose to move here and pay ~1300-1400/mth (we signed at $1032/month in fall of 2018 for reference), keep an eye on every bill and statement that comes through your online portal. The complex works with a third-party utility vendor, which is not uncommon. However, this vendor increased rates dramatically throughout winter of 2019. I paid every month, on time (Feb-June), yet we were charged a final bill upon move out -- a lump sum of nearly $200 for the same time period -- with no explanation. Our questions/concerns were ignored.

My husband and I lived there for 3 years and just recently moved out. We were extremely happy with this complex and were very sad to leave. The office staff was always very friendly and accommodating. The maintenance crew was always prompt and very helpful! The only complaint I can say I had was the parking for our specific building was tough and we would often have to park considerably far when we got home from work. Other then that, we were very happy with the complex!!

1yr lease starting august 2018. Good experience until management was taken over by Morgan Properties. Then, utility charges started increasing...and never stopped. By the time of move out, we were paying 5-10x more in utilities than we were at move-in. Charges are confusing and incoherent, some months we were charged exorbitantly for sewer, then we would be charged exorbitantly for heat (in the summer months). Management and office staff provide a variety of poor excuses, township taxes, seasonal variations, etc. before refusing to provide supporting documentation, ceasing contact, and pulling hundreds of dollars further out of security deposit. I lived in 5 NJ/PA apartment complexes, and none have reached this level of dishonesty.

I would live in a box before signing a lease with Morgan Properties. Morgan Properties are the least responsible property owners, certainly on the east coast. Ever since they have taken over ownership of Chesterfield Apartments, as others stated, utility costs went up without warning or reasoning, and continue inching up. While there are remnants of staff from the last regime, the only good of it would be the two remaining maintenance men; IE the leasing office is less than helpful. As if living between two recovery facilities isnt bad enough, with once-a-year car break-ins, you can now enjoy your neighbors cigarette smoke through the thin walls of your 60-year-old apartment. Your complaints will go to the leasing office, who will then tell you it does not break the provision of your lease titled disturbing the peace or the specific smoking policy where it states how it is illegal for you to smoke in a way that inhibits your neighbors [because those in the office cant understand their own leasing agreement].The office then will tell you to screw off with your complaints, provide your neighbor with the complaint information, so they threaten bodily harm on you; Middletown PD is at least friendly when making police reports that Morgan Staff will then not care you even had to do.These new renters Morgan likes to pursue, are referred to as undesirables as many of the pre-Morggan tenants in my building call them. Pot and Cigarette smells linger throughout the hallways, with the leasing office doing less-then-nill to remedy. You have people in and out at all hours of the day, who do not live on the property. with possession of door security codes. There is screaming, crying and banging accompanied with only the newest of tenants.Any community improvements are no more then a rash of unlicensed, uninsured, irresponsible and unintelligent contractors. Morgan Properties is incapable of putting something out to bid and reviewing the bidders for any of the aforementioned traits before giving them a contract. You will be provided with less than 24 hours notice that someone will be entering your apartment, advising of no flexibility what so ever. You can then enjoy the shoddy work such as backsplashes missing grout with mesh coming out the top, sidewalks damaged more than fixed as well as steps out of code due to too high of a rise [still debating turning this in and watching them having to have it all ripped out], an idiotic putting green that isnt even level; destroying the grass in the courtyard, disassembled ac units not properly put back together, thus making AC inoperable, in the name of caulking, mulchers putting mulch above window cills, and most recently a contractor that was to fix drywall cracks but somehow missed the largest cracks currently remaining in our bedroom.Your pipes will clog, your dishwasher will break, the ceiling will leak, the laundry room will be stocked with leaking machines and tenants will never change the lint traps on their own accord. When summer rolls around, you can take part in signing up for a pool pass. You will be billed twice for it. When its time for the pool to open, they will then open it a week late, missing Memorial Day. u2028u2028New amenities include no parking, as they let any individual pay for specific parking spots forcing you to park wherever - including under trees that will break severely damaging vehicles underneath [P building pictured].u2028u2028Seriously, if negative stars could be given, there is not a more deserving property to receive negative stars.

On move in we rented one of the older style apartments. It was very clear from the greasy residue on and in the cabinets that the kitchen was never cleaned. There was some kind of food matter that look like it exploded on to the upper cabinet from the counter. The linen closet shelving was also sticky... Pretty gross. You could clearly see that the vinyl on the kitchen floor under the stove had also never been cleaned as the flooring is cream and it was black/brown.We complained for 3 months that we could hear a tv thru the walls very clearly and well into the evening hours (10 pm until as late as 1 am). It wasnt until we called Middletown Township to complain that the office got more involved. Even then it was my husband that identified the culprit. Because of this persons age it seems like they were much more lenient about the complaint. This person was interrupting our sleep at night and waking us up at 6 am with their tv. The office manager made it seem like we were being unreasonable for wanting to sleep and suggested that we get a sound machine app to help cover up the sound. To this day it is still an issue but we dont bother to complain anymore because nothing is done about it.Since this Morgan properties has taken over I cant count how many times people have entered our apartment with little to no warnings prior. Any time frames given for completion of the work arent ever close to accurate. Half the time people show up unannounced. My husband and I decided to get a camera to watch over our belongings. The laundry room in building D is down right disgusting. The washers dont drain properly so the drywall is soaked thru and there are holes as well as mold. There is usually a large puddle on the floor from the washers that you have to walk in to retrieve your laundry from the machines. If you do decide to move here do yourself a favor and get an in unit set up. We have found other peoples underwear and cigarette butts in our wash.If I had to do it over again I wouldnt move here and we can not wait to move out!

Went there Saturday to look at the apartment with my mom the place is nice but the lady showing the apartment turned out to inappropriate and insulting while representing her company, after my mom was honest about her credit the lady said Im sending to this other apartment which reviews arent that great so I said I dont thing so, the lady responds was beggars cant be choosers. If the rest of the staff is like that theres no way that I would wanna live here.

THIS Place is a nightmare. DO NOT move here....The management staff is rude and gossips. I had water in my living room and bedroom everytime it rained for six months. I had to pay for electricity to run large fans every time it rained. I had no heat for ten days in JANUARY and they gave me small space heaters that never reached more than 64 degrees and the Manager, Marie, couldnt have cared less. She told me the only time she takes emergency phone calls at home was if the buildings were on FIRE. I also over heard the management bad mouthing a potential customers bad credit and making jokes. The only good thing about this place is the maintenance crew. They at least care about your problems and handle them as best they can.

The walls are thin so you hear everything white carpet you have to pay for a pull pass an also for the fitness center an u have to geta guest pass forthe pool or pay 5 each time an its nott that clean i lived here for a year an hated it i live on the second floor an you hear people under you an above laundry. Here also sucks only two washer an dryers and the dryers suck its really not a good. Place an there never parking at night time theres always something braking the dumpsters. Are so far from where u live its just ridiculous. You pay so much but theres so much that isnt worth it giving them 3 stars is way better then this place diserves the first few months were ok but its not a place you would like to live for long not a place to pay 908 for a one bed room an if your pregnant. You should just buy a two bed room bc omce the babys born u have to get a two bedroom its not like most places like u can wait tell the baby is year old to make ypu get a two bedroom i wouldnt waste your time here at all happy im leaving bad experience. An the pool is tiny no diving bord nothing for kids to do here only swim your child has to be at least 16 to be able to go to the pool or has to have an adult if your child is not 16 you have to go. An the maintenance people knock say maintenance. If you dont answer they walk in your place so make sure your always dressed worst apartments i ever lived in
