Normally I love and absolutely love Mary’s nails. However today I was highly unsatisfied. I walked in and told the Nail tech what I wanted (almond shape sns) upon walking in no one told me who to go to until they got impatient. I wasn’t given time to select my color. The tech stayed on his phone the entirety of my appointment. He began cutting the tips short even after I said I wanted almond upon entering. And then asked if I liked them. When I said no his response was well you should told me almond before I cut the tips. I absolutely hate my nails. Normally my appointment takes 1 hour. I was in and out in 30 minutes and not actually treated how I am normally when visiting this salon. I am highly disappointed in the lack of professionalism in this tech and the fact he took another client before I was done and treated them vastly different than me and just sent me on my way without any formalities.

We love the talents each individual has here. They are always nice and very professional.

I love Mary’s! They are always prompt to help and I have never been unsatisfied with my nails:) they do details so well and really take the extra step to ensure it’s a good experience. 10/10

Best place to have nails done in Lenoir. You can schedule an appointment online or call and they will generally get you in very quickly. Would not recommend walking in because they are generally very busy. Would also highly recommend David, hes done my nails countless times and I have never been disappointed.

Picture taken a day after manicure. I never had an issue with this nail salon until Covid hit. Since they opened again they have been very bad about their time management. You make an appointment and wait for a couple of hours, I was a unhappy with their service and decided not to go again. I needed a manicure for my wedding anniversary and decided to give them another try. I made another appointment and was left waiting for an hour or so. The simple manicure was not done correctly, it took them at least 10 minutes to do it. Now my nails are breaking and they look awful. ....

I took my daughter to get eyelash extensions! We had an appointment scheduled for both of us and waited 30 minutes before they actually came to get one of us!!! They obviously over booked people and it was packed! They actually told some of the girls to stand outside to wait to be called! My daughter came out crying because her eyelashes did not look full or different really! I paid $45 for horrible lashes and I did not get mine done because I saw my daughter so upset. Three days later her extensions were falling out! We will not go back here!

I just wanted to preface this by saying I have worked in the beauty industry for over 10 years and I realize the demand we are under in these strange times.However, I attempted to get my nails done here Monday evening after booking my appointment in advanced online. After waiting for 10 minutes I was told that I didn’t have an appointment even though I explained I had a confirmation text and reminder text. Which didn’t seem to matter. I was asked to wait 40 more minutes or come another day if I still wanted the service. Who has time to sit around almost an hour after thinking they had an appointment at a specific time?Before the owner responds to this by saying “please get in touch with us” as they have done on so many other poor reviews, I already tried to days ago with no response. Don’t pretend to to start caring just because someone leaves a bad review.

Facial. I reccomend anyone that needs a rejuvenating facial its well worth it. I seen results right away. Kim is great giving facials as she is doing nails

Was told that they don’t scrub off all the dead skin on the basic pedicure and charged me five extra dollars for different color polish my nails where trimmed all crooked and rushed my service and when I told the owner that the guy didn’t get the dead skin off didn’t even try and she said that’s cause you chose basic !! If I could have left then n went somewhere else I would have in a second !!! Worse nail experience in my life!

Hi my name is janaya I came here last Friday got a set of white acrylics and a pedicure btw costedMe almost 90 dollars 15 for pedicure added because I used gel nail polish because they said the regular nail polish will take to long to dry and they don’t have their dryers working at the moment which wasn’t a problem they on of the ladies that I don’t normally see did my acrylics and they color is horrible it’s fading, pealing off and my nails aren’t shaped well at all also the way the paint is on there look like I done them on my own it’s so bad I will insert a picture of my nails if I can do it if you can’t see it on here I will gladly make another one that will show it. Right hand on the Bible I didn’t even do this

I have been here 2 times before today and they have always been punctual. Today I had an appointment for 12pm. I went in washed my hands and checked in. At 12:40pm I was still waiting. I was even told I’m sorry we don’t have you in the appointment book. I made the appointment online Sunday and it was confirmed Monday and I even had a reminder at 9am this morning. How can I “not” have an appointment. I will not be back.

I went in for a manicure. The young lady doing my was asked to go do someone else. He sat down continued and did not bother to do my cuticles or file my nails correctly. I asked him to do my cuticles and he said do you want me to. Us that part of getting a manicure. He was very rude. If I can give it a zero I would.

This nail place is one of many in Lenoir that radiates positive energy and has a good vibe going every time you go in there! You can tell they enjoy their work! They laugh and joke and it’s something I wasn’t use to when I went there. Every nail tech is amazing in their own way and their personalities join together for a visit full of laughs and smiles!! They’re great!

I went for a couple months bc they were the only nail salon open at the time. They are over priced an my nails would crack open a bleed every time after a couple days no matter how thick they made the SMS dip. And would not do acrylic like I wanted. Rude attitudes. I’ll never go back.

She does a good job when she does them. But getting her to do them at your appointment time is rare. I usually wait an hour after my appointment time before she starts on my nails. So if you have nothing to do that day and plenty of time too spare go there. Kim is the best and then the young guy. There the best. The one last makes youre nails to chunky. Then the prices change each time. I thought about going to first nails but they are more expensive. But if they can honor an appointment and do good work the extra money could be worth it. I went in asking for acrylic nails with gel polish, VERY Painful experience during and after appointment. Told me it would be $40 then charged me $56. Left with a lumpy thumb after he redone it three times and cut my finger. Kim did a wonderful job on my friend, she also got a higher quality manicure (SNS dip gel) & only charger her $50, not really fair at all considering I THOUGHT I was paying for the cheapest service, if you go ask for her.

I would not give a 1 star but that was the lowest possible. I complained about the quality immediately. One day later the polish was cracked and I did the best I could to take care of them.The person with me had gel nails, the quality was also poor. I made an appointment to have it corrected, explained over the phone that I was unhappy with the product. When I arrived at the shop and explained that the quality was horrible she said that it was not and that I had to pay full price for it to get fixed. Then demanded I leave if I didn’t pay to get it fixed. When I left the shop they called me to ask if I was coming in for appointment. They are disrespectful, unprofessional and deliver poor quality product and service. In addition, they are way overpriced. They charged $20 for polish change and $32 for gel - ONE coat each. 😡I gave them a second chance and now they want me to call? they did nothing to correct when I was there, so, no...I will not be going back OR calling. When anyone asks where to get nails done this business will not be one that I recommend.

I wasnt super happy with the lash extensions I got this week. I had made my appointment the week before and got a phone call 10 minutes before my appointment time to tell me who I booked with didnt come in that day and someone else would have to do them. The girl was then rude when I got there, glued both eyes shut, and they were uneven. I ended up having to take them off after two days due to a reaction to the glue, I had specifically asked if it was latex free because I have an allergy and was told yes it was fine. I wont be going back for lashes

My mom scheduled an appointment with them showed up early for her appointment. They sent her to the car which was fine to wait for her to come in then she noticed a woman going in and never came out well 30 mins past she called in and they forgot about her.. the person acted like my mom should just be okay with waiting for 30 min. in a car. Who forgets about customers with actual appointments? Not just a walk-in. Needless to say thats bad buisness and no excuse for it.

My cousin and I got there at 11:30 and we didn’t get our nails started until 3 o’clock and got out of there at 4:30. The ladies were very nice and they were gentle on other peoples nails but my cousin and I got the male and he did our nails and he was very rough and he was rushing to try and get them done and cut my nail and made it bleed and cut our cuticles down to far!

I got a full GEL set the next day, they start bubbling up and chipping. While getting my nails done, another lady came in with the same issue so that should have been a sign. Based on Mary’s reputation I was hopefully but was sadly disappointed. I feel as though the “regular” customers get quality work while others are rushed along.

This is a very nice salon and the people that run it are super nice. I gave them 3 stars because of that. The pedicure was nice but not as nice as I had hoped for. I opted for the collagen treatment due to my dry skin, and while I watched the one beside me getting the royal treatment, mine seemed to be half done. It was also and extra $15, which made my total $50. While it was nice, it wasnt $50 nice. I still have dry skin on my toes and heels and polish speckled on the side of my toe. Its a rare treat to get out of the house and away from kids for this. I felt that I couldve enjoyed spending that much money on something else.

I called around 5:45pm to see when they closed and she said 7pm. I got there at 6 and told them I wanted an acrylic set with the coffin shape. The wait wasnt long, so we started around 6:15. Everything was going well with my nails but I felt like the technician wouldve rather been doing anything but doing my nails. She seemed very annoyed. I can understand that its getting close to the end of the day, I work in customer service as well, but I did not feel welcome there in the slightest. After my nails were dry, I went to pay with my debit card where the man working there told me that it was cash only. If I had known this prior to getting my nails done, I would have either went to the ATM or come back another day. Luckily I had a friend with me and she went and got the cash for me. He asked if I wanted to Venmo the money to them but I didnt feel comfortable doing that. If an establishment can only take cash, that should be brought to light before the process even starts. I may have missed it, but I didnt even see a sign for cash only. Only reason Im giving 2 stars is because my nails look okay, but the customer service was garbage.

First time going to Mary’s nails and I am very please with the service!! The lady who done my sns nails did a great job and took her time to make sure it was perfect. They guy that did my pedicure was very nice, he did a great job and was gentle. I will definitely be going back!

First time going to Mary’s Nails and the Pedicure was done amazing but the Gel Manicure was done awful and was rushed. 4 days later the polish started chipping off of all my nails and when I came back to get my nails done they didn’t believe me and wanted to charge me to get them done. I advise don’t ever going to Mary’s Nails. You have people (staff) vaping in there and talking about private life conversation aloud. I will never come back

I’m a truck driver and when I’m home I don’t have time to sit in the nail salon for 2 hours just to wait to get my nails done! They go by appointments and stay as close to appointments as they can! Been going to Mary’s Nails for over 2 years

Been getting my nails done for 16 years. I have never found a salon where the manicurists are so kind, and knowledgeable. Not to mention they are up to date on current nail trends so I dont feel like I have to convince them to try something new with my nails. Important : the salon is cash only or Venmo!

Kim is wonderful. I show her picture, she does just like it. She has helped me grow my natural nail out. I now do SNS and love it! My nails are so healthy and strong.

My nails were chunky and uneven, despite me repeatedly pointing it out to her and her ignoring me. My dips barely lasted two weeks, and Ive had them a million times elsewhere. Normally they grow out long before they chip or lift, but I had two nails pop off after barely two weeks, and they chipped a couple days after getting them done, which Ive never had happen to dips.

They do a great job but they need to hire more people! It takes way too long!!

The best nail salon around, I live in blowing rock and the 30 minute drive is more than worth it. Kim is a true artist and dose an amazing job at sns especially ombré.I am so pleased to have found a good nail salon in this part of North Carolina.

We had scheduled appt. They were short handed. Our finishing technician was hurried and alittle sloppy. Our initial technician was very good. Will go back.

I was really excited about going here. Ive heard great things for a while. The wait time wasnt horrible considering the amount of people waiting to be seen. However, Im kinda disappointed about my visit. The settings on the Dremel were wrong. This caused the male nail tech to cut my pinky finger. It broke the skin. Instead of offering to compensate me for the obvious mistake (i would have been happy with a $3 discount), I was charged full price for my nails. I even asked (which I shouldnt even have to ask for a discount after you cut my finger) and was denied because of a rule. I was in no way looking for a handout but its a businesses job to correct mistakes when they are made. I came here with every intention of making this my new nail salon but I will not be returning.

I got my nails done last Thursday with SNS for the first time. I noticed Sunday they were cracking on all but 3 of my fingers. I called and told them what happened and asked if that was normal. The lady on the phone said to come in and she would fix them. I then proceeded to go to the shop where she then told me to come back in a couple of hours, that there was no one there that could do them.

The new location is beautiful and as always, Mary knows how to run a shop that provides quality work. I drive 20 miles past all the sub-par shops in Morganton to come t ok Marys Nails. Always worth the trip!

They may do a good job on nails but DO NOT go here for eyelashes extensions,or eyebrow wax, etc. The lady was extremely rough on my eyes and I had to remove the extensions the same day I got them because they hurt so bad from being done improperly. She actually glued my top and bottom lashes together and pinched my eyelids with tweezers.
