The property I rented from RESE was decent but the communication is very poor. No additional relevant or helpful details were ever offered voluntarily when asking questions. The WiFi password took a week to get after I moved in. The furnace went out in February because it had not been inspected. Maintenance requests were mishandled. Upon calling them, we were told to email instead of calling, and my agent quit/left the company without telling me when my contract sold. They couldnt sell my contract after we had several and months and we had to find people ourselves/through friends.

As a tenant, you really have to push them to get them to get things done. During the wintertime my roommates and I were without heating or hot water for a good 5 days. It took calling in and yelling at them to get them to actually contact the property owner about it. Mind you we were the type of tenants who always paid on time and did our best to take care of the place.When we decided to move out we had to issue a 5 day notice to provide deposit disposition, and we even gave them an extra 3 weeks after their lawfully allotted month was up. I get being short staffed due to covid, but upon putting the notice on the property door the new tenant opened the door. A decent company should handle giving a deposit back to the previous tenants before putting a new one in. Absolutely would not recommend renting with Rese.

The worst place I have ever rented from or done business with period!! We are taking legal actions because they charged us for a damaged wall that we didn’t do. Keep in mind we told them about the wall when we moved in and we took pictures with texts from them stating keep this information for your records and these “idiots” still charged us when we moved out. Don’t get mad if you rent from these crooks and get treated unprofessional the reviews are the truth. I can go on and on about basement flooding, utility room flooding, house not cleaned when we moved in, etc..and one of their responses while the house was flooding was I am out with my mom on Mother’s Day please don’t call please text me. WHAT??? They are a joke.SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE!!

We have rented the house were in for 17 years. Originally we paid to Pacific corp until Pacific corp hired Reese Property to take over. Reese has raised the rent $100.00 for each year. This year my husband was diagnosed with aggressive kidney cancer. When he told Reese Property about it and that he wanted to pay monthly because he only has 6 months to a year when our lease was renewed, they said how sorry they were to hear about that so they raised the rent another 100 plus additional 100 per month. So hard to believe people can be so Calais after 17 years of being a resident, apparently Pacific corp doesnt care either because Reese Property said they let Pacific corp know. My husband wanted to pass here when it time but cant afford to pay this outrageous rent prices.

I was worried about all of the negative reviews, however my experience so far has been very positive. Anne did a great job of keeping me informed throughout the entire socially-distanced tour and rental experience. Anne always provided the necessary information and was very accomodating. Anne was very understanding of our individual circumstances moving from out of state. I will say that most communication was carried out by text, which may be the best way to quickly communicate with the overwhelmed staff and receive clear instructions that you can refer to later. The RESE tenant portal is very intuitive and allows you to schedule payments so you never forget to pay rent on time. The carpets were sparkling clean, although we will have to wait a couple weeks to have the previous tenants damages to walls and paint repaired. This was fine to me, as I needed the townhome now, and could deal with the inconvenience of having maintenance done later.

Honestly the worst management I’ve ever rented from. They claimed we had another tenant living in our home (which we did not) and posted on our door that we needed to comply or vacate. I called to comply and was told an inspection would happen and they would let me know when. (Honestly, the lady I spoke to was the most unhelpful person ever. Kept saying things like “I can’t give you that information” to basic personal questions about my account, airship and speaking to a supervisor..They never let me know and supposedly came through my house to do the inspection. After they found that nobody was in fact living in our home, they added $675 to my rent and took it from me for their troubles and “inconveniences”. Currently speaking to attorneys to take them to court. Ridiculous and dishonest people. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.

DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT LIVE HERE the management does not respond very quickly if not at all and they will start to charge you fees labeled “august” and “July” . They also love to do cleaning checks and not let you know until the day of. They would even charge us a fee if we were not at our apartment or if the apartment was messy. When COVID happened we wanted to see if we could have some help and get out of our lease 2 months early but they wanted us to pay $500 just for them to put the apartment up on the web and have them sell the apartment. Management was no help when it came to trying to figure something out. They nicely told us, too bad, good luck. So we decided to stick it out. When our move out happened we left our apartment way better than we found it, we deep cleaned the floors, the walls, even places you would never have thought to clean. They took more than half of our deposit and we got our deposit check back 6 months later. Forget about getting your deposit back. Don’t be allured by the nice town home for cheap. Not worth it. Management is bad, disorganized, and unprofessional.

This company is the worst at communicating. Someone came while I was sleeping to check the property. Then asked me if I wanted the air filter changed. I was charged $10 for the guy to take the old filter out and put the new one next to it in.

Anne was the best with everything on her plate and only working part time she was able to get everything done so quickly and worked with me and housing to get me in there before my move in date she explained everything to me throughly and also any questions I had got back to me in a timely manner

If you’re thinking about renting from any property from RESE don’t do it. We rented from them for one month and didn’t even get a third of our deposit back. We didn’t even unpack fully from moving in and still they found ways to charge us for over a thousand dollars worth of “damages.” Same things happened to our friends that also rented from RESE. We both got the same amount of the deposit back so it seems like they have a set amount they give back no matter what.

I have had almost 2 years to reflect on my experience with Rese Property Management LLC. I think its funny they sent me a request to review my experience now.The rental time was fair enough, but when its time to move out and get the refundable deposit back, be prepared to just take what they offer!This company missed my walk through at the beginning of the contract, and didnt make it to the walk through when I moved out. That made things particularly impossible to negotiate or argue regarding items they charged from the refundable deposit.While I went through and took pictures of the damages that were there before I moved in, they were not accepted as proof when I moved out. Even though it was there agent who asked me to email them to him and said they would be accepted as proof, because they missed the walk through appointment.They also expected me to contact the vendors they contracted to make repairs to the home, to argue what were existing damages, or what were being upgraded. One of these repair men, I think was a family member or friend of someone in the company, who got to stay in the home while they did the repairs.I obviously didnt expect to get my whole deposit back, I figured I would get charged the normal fees for cleaning and wear and tear, but with all the cleaning I did after we moved out (3 days cleaning the carpets, mopping floors, repairing small holes in the walls, touching up paint, washing the walls and dusting), and the repairs I made to the interior and exterior while I lived in the home (that I never asked the company to provide), I thought Rese was a little more than shady in returning what they said would be the refundable portion of my deposit.This company did all they could to charge me for the repairs the home needed before I moved in and the upgrades they decided the home needed after I moved out, like the garage door that was already dented and hard to open when I moved in, repairs to cabinets that were over 30 years old, a new garbage disposal, and the list goes on.For those thinking about using this company, my advice for you would be, dont plan to get the refundable part of your deposit back. And good luck disputing anything they say you did to the property that you dont agree with, or disputing any upgrades they add you didnt get to use while you lived on the property.Rese will draw out the dispute process until you finally just give up.I waited over a month for them to return what they felt I should get back. When I disagreed and started to dispute, I spent a little over 6 more weeks, countless calls, emails, and requests to speak to a manager, and got nowhere. They only defer, defer, defer until you give up.I wish I would have read some of the reviews before I used them.To those of you who have to use them, just dont count on getting a fair return on your deposit back.

Worse than awful service. Was left with no heating for a majority of the winter and only got heating back once RESE had sold our property to another company (repairs under new management made fully in a week). No accountability was taken and no reimbursement was given for the cost of having to rely strictly on space heaters. Not once was their an offer to send out a new vendor to do the repairs, as they rely on one very unreliable and unprofessional repair man for heating and AC.There were no maintenance checks made prior to moving in and we have been left to figure out one issue after another. Poor management of the overall property grounds as well.Overall my experience with RESE was an absolute nightmare and I highly regret doing business with them.

I have over 150 properties around the county and I can tell you that there can definitely good, responsive managers and bad, unresponsive and expensive managers of properties. Ive worked with RESE now for approximately 8 years, I believe, and they have managed several of my local rental properties. RESE has a good balance of being firm with rent collection but flexible with their owners. They allow me to use my own handymen, and are quick to respond if they need to schedule maintenance. I appreciate their professional and flexible attitude to working with homeowners like me!

I began renting with this company in 2018, and rented there for 2 years. The house wasnt in great condition, but it didnt really bother me. When we moved in there was a shower curtain rod in the shower and a can of paint on the table. Nothing that would bother anyone. I took a video of the whole house so that if any disputes came up later on about walls or anything I would have my own proof of how it looked before.Nothing of importance happened over the next two years, I paid my rent every month on time for 2 years until we finally decided we were ready to move out. I messed up and didnt read the clause that said you had to move out 30 days in advance, so I had to pay an extra months rent. It was an annoyance, but in the end it was my own fault.When I notified them that we were ready to move out we received nothing to assist us in our move out process besides a notice to vacate the property. I asked for a list of things to do for moving out, but received nothing. Again nothing that bad, but it wasnt a big deal. When we moved out we cleaned the apartment thoroughly and made sure it looked as good as it did when we moved in.We moved out a month before our final move-out date and didnt hear anything from Rese for that entire time. No bills, no phone calls, nothing. Until a month later we received a letter in the mail saying we owed a significant amount of money.Now to my surprise there was a charge for several things that I did not agree with, so I called them and they immediately said to just send an email to the help committee. So I did.A portion of the fees ($405) were for cleaning fees. Which I expected since every property manager does that. Another portion (more than $100) was for replacing light bulbs (none were burnt out when we had left, we actually replaced bulbs when we first moved in that were burnt out) re-installing a bathroom tub plug, and removing a shower curtain. There was no shower curtain when we left, but instead just the shower rod which was there when we moved in. I tried to dispute these, but got the response of All repairs completed were assigned after reviewing the evidence in our system. Unfortunately we are unable to refund you for the repairs completed. Ridiculous, but again I expect nothing less from a rental company.Now to their credit, they did refund me for a key that I was never given.But on to what truly bothered me. I was charged $268 in late fees. Now if you have ever seen a billing statement it will usually bill you when something is due, and if you dont pay it by that date you will receive a late fee. I am totally okay with that, but above I was told I would owe rent for January, but that bill never came in January. Instead that bill for Januarys rent wasnt charged until the 4th of February. I wasnt given an opportunity to pay for Januarys rent on time, and instead I was immediately charged a late fee for something that I didnt know existed.I called multiple times when I moved out to make sure I had everything settled, and never received any sort of indication that I had done anything wrong.Now since being charged that late fee I have gone through all of their steps and I have gotten a response through email saying Unfortunately there is nothing we are able to do regarding the late fees. As weve explained, the late fees are in accordance with your lease. If the rent was there to pay in January I wouldve paid for it and there would have been no issue, but instead Rese decided that through their own error I should be the one to pay it. I called and tried to talk to billing, their broker, and their management team, but instead I got put on hold, then was told they wouldnt speak to me and eventually got hung up on.Now maybe my review is an outlier and others may have good experiences with Rese, but the lack of respect to someone who never had an issue before moving out is a bit sad to me. I wish I couldve given a better review, and that I would have at least been treated with respect.

Is it possible to give less than one star? My land lord hired rese to manage their property and we were already good tenants in good standing. Rese came in and raised rent, started charging fines and fees for every minute thing, and making demands that were unreasonable and sometimes impossible to accommodate. Unfortunately it’s not just their professionalism and customer support thats abysmal. It’s always a hand off and a blame game with them. They don’t function with out a convenience fee or the threat of a fine. They don’t hold up to their end of any bargain.Drop boxes for example. They required us to have one that they would provide, then never provided one, then threatened to fine us for not having one and leaving it out so they could access our living space in our absence. They “LOST” our key and required us to replace it. They didn’t think “Wow, maybe one of our former employees has a key to our tenants house. We don’t know. Not our problem. We just need to be able to go in your home whenever we want. Don’t concern yourself with the fact we have caused your living space to be completely unsecured and we won’t be held accountable.” I kept record of correspondence to ensure if my joke was ever broken by use of a key, we’d know where the intruder likely obtained it. It’s all liability avoidance and plausible deniability of any responsibility with them.I have every email and text message I’ve ever exchanged with them saved in case they do what I expect them to do, which is operate in bad faith and shady practice. As it turns out, my land lords stopped using them as their contract expired and I’m no longer under their thumb so I’m no longer worried about being retaliated against by them for telling the truth about my experience with them.I thought for a second “maybe I’ll have to do business with them again. I shouldn’t write this review.” Then I thought “you know, there’s no way in hell I’m ever doing business with them again. I’d rather be homeless than rent from an owner that uses them as a property management service. No hyperbole. Not exaggerating. I’d rather sleep in my car than deal with them.These are my opinions. These are the facts as I experienced them. I cannot recommend never using this property management service enough.Sigh. Wow. I feel a thousand tons lighter knowing I’m done with them.

I called to look at a property to rent and they were very good with scheduling a time to see the home. We got it scheduled, confirmed and waited. We called after 15 minutes of waiting AFTER the set time of meeting. It was after hours and there was no other number to call. Judging from the outside, trash is left outside and not cleaned. Blinds left open. Cobwebs everywhere. If you are an OWNER, they don’t manage your property well. We waited a total of 30 minutes after the set time to meet and no response. I’m writing this as we leave. Will not work through RESE ever again, even if the deal is a steal. Would not be excited to work with them to own or rent.

AFTER READING REVIEWS NOT THE ONLY TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED. Not one to leave bad reviews but come on super unprofessional. Found a babysitter to watch our kids and drove to see home at 615pm. Waited for 15 minutes no one showed up. Tried calling them their office was closed. Waited another 15 mins still no one showed up. A courtesy call that they couldn’t make it, would have been nice. Was interested in the house at 529 W 2540 N Lehi Utah but 100% we are not renting from this management company. If going to see a property from them ONLY GO DURING THEIR OFFICE HOURS

Do not do not rent from Reese they are a FRAUD PM group they steal from you! I had a home I rented from them professionally cleaned it cost my $350. They still took money from me for the cleaning. They said that the 10 yr scratched paint on the front door was my fault along with a strike plates for the doors that were missing since we moved in. They charged me 200 dollar for the front door to be re‐painted. They told me that they clean the 10 yr old carpet when I moved in they did not and then they charged me 300 to have it cleaned. Do not rent any homes from them. They also took 6 weeks to return part of my deposit, I could give them a zero I would!

We rented a place to live through RESE for almost 3 years. Any time we had a problem with the property they were right there to solve it. They were super friendly and great to work with. When we were ready to buy a house, they helped us through that process and got us into our first home! Highly recommend!!!!

My husband and I rented from them a few years back. They were extremely difficult to get a hold of and communicate with.My husband left a 1 star review YEARS ago and recently received a reply saying wshouldnt take our anger out on them because we were evicted for non-payment.We legally sold our lease and even received our deposit back. I have all the correlation in emails. Our loan processor even called Reese to verify we were responsible tenants as this was part of the home buying process.Whomever is responding to Reese Propertys reviews is only making them look worse. So unprofessional, but also helping in proving their terrible at communication.Guys, save yourself the trouble and rent through a company who is organized, honest, and professional.

I have had a great experience with this company so far. Anne was so helpful and made us feel like we were her top priority. She responded to my questions and concerns promptly and made things very easy to understand. The girls in the office were also very helpful and took care of a pressing matter in minutes for me. The runners they sent to show me a home were also very friendly and professional. All around I have had a far better experience working with RESE than any other property management company.

They have quick communication regarding my property and the portal is a great way to keep up on a monthly basis. Tony has a quick turn around from repairs, filling a vacancy as well as collecting rents. I highly recommend RESE Property Management.

RESE contacted me via text to make an appointment to view a unit at their Westview Apartments property after confirming the appointment twice - both the day before and the day of - the scheduled meeting. I arrived on-site for the walk through at the confirmed meeting time, and after waiting for 10 minutes I called the number that I had been texting with. The woman I spoke with on the phone at first told me that she didn’t have me on their schedule. After reading her my texts with a RESE team member she finally found my appointment and told me that her agent, Larry, was running late and that he would arrive in 15 minutes to meet with me. After waiting another 30 minutes Larry finally arrived and seem annoyed to have to show me the unit. He apologized and said that he received a text from our sting of messages that said I had to reschedule. I reviewed my messages with him and showed him that there was no communication about my having to reschedule. I asked why he wasn’t there in the 15 minute window that the woman I spoke with on the phone said I should expect him. He responded flippantly that he had to come all the way from Salt Lake to West Jordan for our meeting and that traffic was bad. I told him that I too had come from Salt Lake for our meeting and that he should have notified me that he was running late again. I viewed the unit, and he said nothing to try and make things better or to try and sell me the space. I left after a quick walk through and said thank you.I’m very disappointed that this company does not respect people’s time. I do not have to live here - it’s a choice that I have the luxury of making. In my case, RESE’s unprofessionalism and inability to manage their schedule and staff show that they don’t value my business, or even value me as a human being.After reading RESE’s reviews and the horribly written responses from their team, I’m not surprised by my experience with them. It’s quite a shame that the owners of these properties don’t see that these issues continue to occur and reprimand RESE for it.I do not recommend working with this company or renting from them.

I am going to be completely honest my fiancé and I had already filled out another application with a different management company and we were almost ready to sign a lease but we were turned off by the lack of responsiveness and their inability to answer our questions. We decided to fill out an application with Rese and we’re so glad we did. Anne has gone above and beyond to help us out. We are moving across the country during a pandemic which isn’t easy, but she has been there to answer every single question we have had and within minutes. She has really made this process very smooth and has been nothing but professional and amazing. This experience has definitely been a great one and it’s all thanks to Anne.So I have to add to this review because I can not stress how amazing this company has been. The process of moving in was so smooth, but like any home that’s mainly for renters this one had a couple issues with it. We reported all the issues and Gabriela has gone above and beyond to make sure everything is documented and what needs to be fixed has been. All maintenance request have been answered so quickly and everyone we’ve interacted with so far has been INCREDIBLE!!!!!! The professionalism that Gabriela has showed us is beyond words, we have probably emailed her 50 times since moving in and she has not once ignored us or gotten upset. I am so happy we went ahead and rented with RESE !

Rese is a complete joke. My move in date was pushed back two days before I was supposed to move in and the construction still wasnt completed. I sent a long list of issues to Rese which included many broken windows and they still wont acknowledge the issues nor will they have them fixed. All communication with them is a complete joke as they dodge everything you ask them and if you call their office, be prepared to be told you must submit a request. I call and simply ask to speak to anyone who can help and I eventually get hung up on. Their staff must be trained to not answer questions or help in any way shape or form. If you are a renter or an owner, Rese is not a company you want to go through.FYI - I have never put a review on google...ever! But I feel that I needed to post a very honest review about Rese. And I will continue to do so until they act like a property managing company. I can provide proof to anyone who would like to contest this review.

This place uses a third party app called rently which is a scam by raters, and rated 1 star out of 5 on the better business bureau. This app makes you take lots of pictures of yourself and your drivers licence, and makes you fork over a credit number in order to use. Additionally they could get your finger prints from the key you use to look at the property as well. Additionally the rese rep said they dont know how secure it is. I went into a property and it wasnt cleaned... very poor customer service as well as they wanted me to email rese about questions i had instead of getting back to me... very shady place, never doing business with these guys again... if i find out my personal info was given or sold to others im going to sue the hell out of these guys for their negligence... f this place!!

I moved into my new place 6 days ago. NOTHING was clean, TRASH EVERYWHERE, BELONGINGS STILL IN THE HOUSE, NO KEYS, ITS A COMPLETE DISASTER, so many repairs that were promised to be taken care of before move-in.I sent 70 pictures and still sending to unanswered responses, other than someone will get back to you AND only communicate via email. Called several times today, they blocked my calls but when I called from another phone it was answered then hung up on when they knew it was me. This place is a serious JOKE. Ive been a property manager for 16 years and I cannot believe these people are even in business. If you are a RENTER or an OWNER expecting them to do anything for you, you are asking WAY too much. We lived in one of their properties for 3 years and they knew about black mold that was all over the property but proceeded to do nothing about it. They don’t ever want to take responsibility for anything and don’t give you the time of day unless you are giving them money. Their staff is very hard to get ahold of and are very unprofessional not listening to anything you have to say. They hung up on me and blocked my number after I called them out for lying. I highly recommend not renting from these people

I have never seen property management like Rese. They dont answer phone calls, never complete a job without problems, never return phone calls, takes weeks to take care of emergency. This is the worst property management i have even seen. I wish you stay out of the property they manage. I have had enough. i WARNED you unless you are desperate and have no any other option.

They are The worst management ever wears then TPM and all the other management companys!!!! all they wanna do is charge you for everything, and when you fill out a maintenance report they take sooo long to get back to you! And even longer to fix the problem, but when it come rent day uuh they want the money right away and even if its there mistake on paying the rent late they still charge you for everything no exceptions!!! Yeah they tell you to email them saying why and they will dismiss the late fee but NOOO!! They will never dismiss any late fees!!!!! I choose to give these guys 5 stars for a good reason. I rent an apartment in a complex that they took over towards the end of my lease. I am also involved with several Property Management Group so I can be a little picky. I feel like these guys are great. They took over my complex most the way through my lease. In fact my lease is up and Im paying month-to-month just because I like them so much and dont want to deal with any other company. I was worried they wouldnt care about my concerns because I was leaving in a couple months. However, it was quite the opposite. They are always Pleasant to work with and quick with a reply anytime I have a concern. Also, their prompt about maintenance request and work very hard to make their tenants happy. For those of you that dont know much about a property managers relationship between an owner and a tenant. It can be quite the challenging task trying to make both parties happy, and these guys are great at it!

I paid my rent in the 24th of the month. They went in after the fact and added in another fee and of course I thought I was fine because I paid all balance due. I am now being charged 169 dollars in late fees! Called to see what was going on. They were rude on the phone and said it’s my fault for not checking my app after I paid my rent. I would never ever ever ever ever use this company as a landlord and I will never rent from anyone who uses them again!

I put in multiple requests for maintenance and they weren’t taken care of until months later. I also paid an electric bill and was charged for that plus processing fees! I even provided proof that I already paid that bill BEFORE they sent me my security deposit! When I called and asked about it I got absolutely no help! I was also charged to fix holes already in the walls before I moved in I was also charged for the lock box that I left on the door as instructed. I have called multiple times asking to speak to a supervisor and I’m always told I will get a call back and not a single person will call me back! This has been absolutely the worst experience of my life! I am a single mom and have had 0 help from this company in getting back the money that is mine!

So i was not evicted for non payment of rent. As a matter of fact i sold my remaining lease after i purchased a home. Thats slander and better fact check that and supply proof. Look rese property management was an extremely difficult company to get ahold of we would call for multiple days and weeks and get no response. That is why i gave a one star rating. But to lie about an eviction for unpaid rent is completely absurd and i will find the email and documents to upload that proves the dishonesty and deception on your behalf to hopefully turn away any future customers you may get going forward

We would not rent our home with out a property manager. He has been Great. We dont have to collect the rent or deal with arguing or problems like that.We are quite old now and appreciate someone else helping us with our property and helping us get wonderful tenets and other help when we need it. Like I said, these guys do fine. I did like the face to face contact I had with them, it was just hard to get any maintenance requests pushed through and when we moved out the process seemed more onerous than it needed to be.

I have been using RESE for almost 2 years now. They are managing 2 properties for me. I have only had 1 tenant in each property so far, so it makes me happy I dont have to worry about tenants changing so frequently. They have found some good tenants so far, and I havent had any late payments. They have a cool system that lets you see the condition of your property for the quarterly inspections. I have noticed that sometimes I need to ask for the inspection report, but it is a really good way to make sure your property isnt being destroyed!

Do not use RESE Property Management. I used RESE PM for four years. Was okay for the first couple of years, but then got really bad. I believe that Tony, the owner/manager, is dishonest. Accounting is absolutely horrible. Either the accountant lacks appropriate skills or is dishonest. They never admit to making a mistake, they cover it up. They are not responsive to tenants, and have virtually never physically visited the property. They make unauthorized repairs and then say I gave someone verbal authorization. I talked to a tenant from another property, and they charged her $900 in late fees for rent that she had proof was paid on time. They refused to meet with her to look at her documentation. I would not recommend RESE Property Management.

These folks did amazing work and I could not be more grateful. My particular case was pretty work intensive as I was rehabing a duplex with tenants.It was complicated, it was messy but they made my life much easier by helping me locate the right vendors at the best prices, along with new tenants. I can’t imagine navigating this project without them.They continue to monitor my property month after month and have done an excellent job thus far. I’ve worked with them for 2 years now and I plan to work with them for as long as I have my property.

I just want to say Thank you to Rese Property Management for the wonderful maintenance and vendor experience I have had with this company. I am moving into a Duplex that is perfect for me in every way and Rese went above and beyond in getting my new residence in fabulous condition...they even put in brand new light fixtures. painted and got my new back yard in perfect shape...anything that needed repair was done and I couldnt be more pleased. Also the staff, from the Leasing Agent, Anne to the receptionist Kasey are amazing to work with. The maintenance supervisor Gabriela is also on top of what needs to be done. In so many ways I feel like I am part of the Rese Family now and feel safe and secure in my new home. They also have a wonderful home buyers plan should that be something you are interested in. Go with Rese, you will be happy you did.

They dont even deserve one star. This company evicted a elder woman that was caring for her 2 grand children. The lady is on oxygen and was told she had to be out in 3 days. This happened because neighbors called and complained about her children coming around to much and said she had too much traffic coming and going. This company sucks and I would think twice before you rent from them. I will be very surprised if they even let this review on the website. Shame on them.

Current Review:As a property owner Id like someone to manage my property long term. Ive yet to have a rep last longer than 6 months before I get a new one and I am NEVER notified when I get a new one. They just stop notifying me and when I call someone else answers or calls me back like nothing has happened.RESE also has a contract for emergency services that allows vendors to perform repairs to your home at whatever cost they feel like without authorization. I had a water leak in our back yard and they notified me so I immediate went and turned off the water. Then some vendor showed up after I had left, put in a $3.00 coupling for 15 minutes of work and changed me $350! Then I told RESE it was not an authorized repair and they said they got it down to $250 for me. WHAT?! This is seriously our last straw. If something like this happens again were done with RESE.Original Review (5 stars):Im a property owner and have been using RESE to manage my property for only a few months. Ive worked with a handful of employees at RESE and have had nothing but positive experiences with them. Theyve communicated well, counseled me on cleaning and presenting my property, and finding the fair market value.They were able to place a tenant in my home 6 days after it was listed and charge one of the lowest RPM fees I was able to find. I had to replace a water heater and they gave me the option of doing it myself or letting them bid it out for me for free. I got a bid from them and it was very fairly priced.I am very glad they are taking care of my property and hope they take care of our tenants just as well.

I had attempted to try and rent through this company and was treated poorly by Anne who was the leasing agent. I had first been denied because they stated that my credit was too low. I had stated that I have a wonderful payment history with other Property Managements and has also increase in the last year and a half. She stated that if I could get a co-signer and double the down payment, they could get me approved. I told her that it is ridiculous to have to have both. I told her I could get a co-signer.She stated that she would speak to the broker about only having a co-signer and have my co-signer send it a app. She stated that she would wait to check their credit until she got approval from the Broker.I didnt hear back from her for 2 days, so I reached out to her. She said that because she didnt received the app back that she had to go with other applicants. I told her that we were waiting to get that back to her until we heard if the Broker would approve. She said that she told me she needed the app first before talking to the broker. She never said that.She has given me attitude the whole time I have dealt with her.I was also stood up the first time I went to look at the place. I drive clear across the state in a snow storm to make it to my appointment and no one showed up.I messaged Shayla Christensen through Facebook messenger to find out if they were still coming and received no response back. I called and left a voicemail for the office and received a call back the next day. They told me that because their power went out, they werent able to cancel appointments or get back to anyone. This has got to be the worst property management company I have ever experienced. I read reviews before renting from them and I was a little nervous given the poor reviews but I did it anyway.I was always on time with rent! Took care of the place as if I owned it.Now I have moved out because the owner was selling the home. I left early so the realtor could get in. The owner gave me a rent credit which took over a month to get from Rese. They told me they mailed it so it wasnt their problem. I had to pay them $30 to reissue a check and send it certified!I was told I would get my deposit back 30 days after move out day. It is over 30 days I havent seen it. This is what I was told...I just received an update from maintenance, Your security deposit is in a trust account, it is on our radar, as soon as we finish the move out we will be mailing out the disposition. We are working on it, thank you for your patience. It is a busy time of the year.- RESE Property ManagementWhen a tenant moves out of a property we have to contact a few different parties, vendors..ect. that had gone to the property before and after move out if any. We need the deposit disposition approved by the broker and recorded accordingly. We just need to neatly move you out of our system and save -you as a past tenant.- RESE Property ManagementWhen I said I was told 30 days I got this...Some take longer than expected.- RESE Property ManagementThen I asked for a timeline and got this...I dont have that information.- RESE Property ManagementAmazing! Just dont do it. Dont rent a house if it is managed by this company. We read all the reviews before we decided to rent and found a lot of them to be negative. Weve always had good experiences with most rental agencies, so we thought there was no way it could be that bad. Oh, it was.In the end it all worked out but we had to fight really hard to get what we were owed for our deposit. It is not even worth it though. Dont think you will be the exception. You wont.They will try to buy your good review with Sees gift cards, etc. Dont fall for it. Take the gift card and then be honest in your review.

Angie applied a $100 fee a week before my rent was due. The reason they applied this fee was because I had asked them to provide a copy of my original lease agreement, which was supposed to be shared with me on my portal in the first place. So basically are trying to charge me $100 for a document which should have been provided in the first place. Dont rent from these swine as they are horrible to deal with even though what you are asking for was completely supposed to be provided by them in the first place. Such a terrible company with terrible people.

The companies they use are very good and communicate with us regarding scheduling and our satisfaction. Hands down the worst renting experience ever. I rented a store front and paid cash up front for 6 months. Therefore we were never late during that period. The owner of the property gave us a month or two free because we had to build the space out and fix many issues in order to run a business. So once the 6 months was up we spoke to them and both parties agreed we had 1 more month. A mistake we both made. As soon as it was realized we owed that month we paid it within a few days. That left us tight on funds. So the following month we were 5 days late. This warrants a 10% late fee at worst case. Well, they served us a 3 day vacate notice for being 5 days late. More recently, the company decided they want us to qualify to continue the lease. Although the lease states that our lease automatically renews at a 3% increase. We never had to qualify in the first place. Now we are left without a space. This company has horrible communication skills. Also, the CAM fees we paid each month went unserviced. The snow was rarely removed, the dumpsters overflowed, the trash never cleaned up. On top of all that, the utilities were never equally split up as there are not a correct amount of meters. Theyre maintenance put holes in our awning and left them, the list goes on and on. Nothing but a bhad experience.

OWNER REVIEW: Im an owner of a 4-plex in Salt Lake and have been working with RESE for about 6 months now. I was in a very bad spot with a property management company that did poor management and I had to fire. This is universally a challenging process and can be a challenge. This one certainly was, but the team at RESE stepped in, addressed the issues and challenges with the transfer of management, moving over the leases and the like. Tony and his team have been fantastic! They are professional, proactive (one of the issues I had with my prior management company) and responsive.We had some frustrated tenants due to the prior management company which the tenants took out on RESE, which isnt reasonable, but they stepped in and did their absolute best to address the complaints and issues the tenant had based on promises they had allegedly received from the prior manager.I own about 50 doors in other markets. I have been fortunate to have found RESE, through unfortunate circumstances, to be the management company for my one property in SLC. I have experienced good and bad management. I have 2 other management companies that manage our other properties in 2 other markets, so I believe I have a point of view with some weight.To owners seeking a management company, RESE will not let you down. They will manage professionally and effectively. I am incredibly please with them and look forward to them further stabilizing my asset and working together to have a successful investment. I highly recommend them to take care of your home or portfolio.

Absolutely terrible to work with! We tried using Rese to rent our house in Orem. From the start, the people we worked with didn’t seem to know what they were doing. Then we never knew who to contact cause Rese employees were either leaving or being fired. Then multiple renters came and left our house without us knowing and caused thousands of dollars in damages. Had to completely rip out all the carpets in the house and redo a bathroom plus multiple other things. Rese wouldn’t get back to me and then when I wanted to pursue the renters in small claims, Rese magically didn’t have any contracts or paperwork with them.... my opinion is not to touch Rese with a 10 foot pole. For us, they were a nightmare. The epitome of “give us your money and we do nothing for it”

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY, and do not ever let them manage a property for you. If I could give them 0 stars, I would.Our AC has been broken for more than two weeks, and they have not responded to any of our emails or phone messages. When we finally got ahold of their secretary, she would not transfer us or let us speak with anyone else. She told us to just send an email. Well, after five emails, we still have not gotten a single response. They lost our work order, and have still not sent someone to fix the AC. They keep saying they are waiting for owner approval, even though we have personally contacted the owner daily and he said he gave approval the second day.When we asked about prorating their rent, they told us to read the contract and hung up.We have tried to contact them about issues in the past and it has taken weeks for a single person to respond to us.Our owner literally has a paper on the fridge when you first move in that says if you have any problems to contact him instead of RESE because they never do anything. In working in the property management field, Ive been able to see both sides of the Tenant/Property Management company views. I just wanted to give a little input with RESE PM as I know there are good and bad reviews with this company on this site. I have been a tenant with this company since 2016 and still continue to be one for the time being with the home we rent from them. With the basic small maintenance issues, we take care of it on our own due to the fact that as tenants, for example, when a light bulb is out, although we werent there when a new one was put in, we have some use out of it, so we will replace it. But when there are major issues such as a dishwasher just being old and no longer working, or roof tiles have been torn off by strong winds weve all seen and felt in the past, these have been reported to RESE and although they are bigger projects, RESE was able to get the issues taken care of. Weve had nothing but positive responses to our maintenance issues. Whenever a maintenance request is put in, a representative responds within 24-48 hours of the request letting us know that they will be working on the issue. I have read a few reviews that RESE uses gift cards to obtain positive reviews, rest assure, I am not receiving one for posting this, but to let possible new tenants know that there are positive things that this company does. I was moving to Utah from out of state and applied for a property solely on the pictures provided on the site. I was approved for the property and was very relieved to plan my move across the country knowing we already had a place lined up. They even had someone set up to show me the house as soon as I arrived in town so I was very excited. A few days after signing the lease I was called by Rese Property Management only to find out that, according to them, the owner of the home now wanted to raise the rent by $300 A MONTH from $1900 to $2200. The representative from RESE told me that If I was willing to pay the extra money I could still have the property. Of course I said no. I even asked if they could show me anything else in the original price range to which I was told they had nothing available. I dont even know if this is legal however I was extremely upset to find out that I now had to change all of my moving plans. I was forced to now leave my family behind and live out of a hotel for 2 weeks until I was able to find a place. On top of all that, they still had the person scheduled to show me the property contacting me to set up a time to view the home a week after all this! I would definitely look elsewhere if you were looking to rent a home from this company. Very unprofessional.

As a college student finding an apartment can be quite stressful. In the chaos to find an apartment for the Fall/Winter semester with a friend I found what seemed to be the perfect apartment, that had been left completely vacant just weeks before. I called to make sure it was still available and was able to look at it. The guy Porter who showed it to me said no one had applied yet. I quickly applied and payed the $30 fee but because I was under a time crunch I called a few times to see what had happened to my application. stressful! Finally I got an email saying the apartment had already been rented out and my money would be refunded. okay whatever, Id keep looking! Only my money never got refunded, at least not for a few weeks! After finally expressing my frustrations, Rachel one of the ladies in the office was super nice and even helped me by offering to double check to see if my money had in fact been refunded. She got in contact with me quickly, and when I double checked to confirm with my bank, it had! So id say Great customer service that patiently deals with concerns, but long waiting periods if you ever want to try and rent from them.

In the six years I have lived at the place that I live at they never follow through with anything that needs to be fixed but if it’s something that you did and it needs to be fixed it better get done right away. They also do not do their job correctly when it comes to a rent increase approval with Housing. Terrible communication, unorganized, always waiting weeks for a simple maintenance request to be fulfilled, which was never even resolved (broken dishwasher for more than 4 months up until we moved out) Had several different people contact us several times within a month span asking for a forwarding address, just to realize 45 days later that it never arrived in the mail and now we are being charged the fee to re-issue it? Received some unprofessional texts that came across in an aggressive manner because they cant understand why we would be upset over a fee that was completely out of our control. Also received texts promising they would update us regarding the disposition and when it was sent in the mail, and they never did. I had to follow up every time and when I asked for our refund amount to be disclosed over email, they told me they didnt have access to that information, but then the next day someone sent it to me.. so theyre all over the place. On top of that, you basically have zero chance of disputing any charges made regarding the condition of the place, because they pretty much charge what they want and leave a 3 word explanation for what the money went towards. So if we are going to have to just deal with the amount we are given, at least take some accountability with losing our check or figure out what happened with the mail carrier you used, because you failed to follow through with any your other promises. I will never contract with a place that is managed by RESE for several frustrating reasons, and I was nothing but a good, rule abiding tenant when I was there.In response to the message left from RESE on my review, since I guess we cant reply?1) I think I spent maybe 10 minutes looking over your reviews and didnt even get through a quarter of them to realize I had already read enough to know that the same reoccurring issues seem to be a problem. I recall one person even mentioning that if there are honestly this many poor reviews being left regarding the same issues, than clearly something isnt working and/or is a poor business practice. So rather than sit and explain how you guys rely on all these other vendors/systems to divert the attention away from RESE and why its never your fault. How about figure out a solution with your vendors and provide your tenants with an explanation of what happened. If you dont know what happened, than be sympathetic/understanding and offer to take care of it, rather than put it on us as if we had all the control. You guys constantly emphasize the fact that most things are out of your control, but than when its out of the tenants control, its our problem, never yours. I work for a company that deals with peoples paychecks, and when there are errors made on the employee side, we dont tell the employee to deal with it then pay a fee. We let them know it was due to their mistake but still take care of the fees to make sure they get a new paycheck, even if it wasnt our fault, because that is called good business practice.2) We went without a functional dishwasher for months, even after we made several maintenance requests and only had one person come by to basically tell us the problem, but then tell us that the part might not be covered by the owner or property manager? He assures us he will find out, but then we never hear anything again. We submit another request and nothing ever happened. Again, I dont know what processes are in place when it comes to having appliances fixed, but clearly it cant be a great process, because it was never dealt with even when we didnt break it.3) I could go on and on about the way RESE, not another vendor, communicated with us, but I think my first review clearly explained that. Also, we had to wait more than 2 weeks to here back from your decisions committee regarding our case to appeal the fee, just to be told we still have to pay a fee. Yet again, we are asked to spend all this time to put together a case we should have ever had to do, for pretty much the exact same result. Go figure.

The only thing they did is place tenants and after that basically I manage my property with things such as maintenance as their excuse was that they were always busy. They were not too busy to collect the monthly fee though or not too busy to offer their services to sale my house. The guy Tony Du Preez and Kyle are a joke to be honest they hand you off to people that don’t know anything about customer service. As a retire military and current Gov employee the service is below 0. I am very concerned for any renter, or owner that is trusting this company with their property. We recently went and looked at a property to rent and it was in TERRIBLE condition. The house smells terribly of cat pee and cigarettes, and the yard has been torn apart. They are charging $1250 for this house, and $1,250 security deposit and $350 pet deposit. For what? I worked in property management and I would be ashamed for the people I was renting to and the owner I was representing if I had a property in that condition. I am disgusted.

Ive never met a group of people who accomplish their goals that they set, and work constantly on keeping them. I would recommend RESE to anyone trying to find a property or even wanting to someone to manage it for them. Two thumbs up for RESE.

The team weve been dealing with, thus far, as been wonderful. I had an issue with our dead bolt and not being able to lock our door properly. After writing a request, I was contacted very shortly after and had an app set with their maintenance worker. He showed up, fixed it, and now it works like a gem. It might seem like a minor fix, but the service was fast and great and I really appreciated it. So thank you!

Constant changes in managers, poor handling of renters account ledgers. In the 2 years Ive lived here Ive had several different managers, none of whom seem to know whats going on, bills that get added multiple times to my ledger (which Ive already paid), emails go unanswered, Im not even sure who to talk to any more to get things sorted out. Every month its something new theyve messed up and I have to fix the billing. I also receive bills for maintenance I didnt request. Ive scoured my lease agreement and theres nothing about them being able to charge me for unspecified maintenance or repairs I didnt request, but they do it anyway without explanation. They are really intrusive and rude.When I move Im going to avoid anyone who goes with RESE. Property owners - PLEASE use another management company! These people are terrible! I love this house but I hate the management!I wish it were possible to comment on other peoples reviews. I feel like Ive had similar experiences and would not be surprised if many of the same things end up happening to me.

This is not a professional company. We called a week before on two separate days asking to be shown a property. We never got a call back. I called on a Tuesday and a Friday. I then called the next week Monday and said I had not yet heard, theyve been scheduled an appointment for me the next Tuesday. The person that showed up to give us a tour of the rental property, was high on something and had her boyfriend there as well who was also high on something. It was so unprofessional for the boyfriend to be touring the house with us and making comments opening doors and cupboards and suggesting we rent a room to him. The person showing us the rental didnt know anything about the rental. They then try to scam us the next day saying there was two people ahead of us and we should apply soon or will you lose our spot. That is just a market scam to get a rental rented. Absolutely disappointed, unprofessional company. People beware if they tell you it or act like there is urgency, there isnt theyre just trying to get a place rented.

Before reading my review, please consider the following.Some of the people we have worked with from Rese have been wonderful, and this is not a personal attack on the individual employees. This is not a review based on fictional distress, this is a review based on a true experience that has been inaccurately outlined in the Rese owner response attached to this review. To be clear, we rented a unit through your company for one year, and we ended our lease according to contract.My Review: This business, from a renters perspective, deserves a 1 out of 5 star rating when considering the end of a leasing period. The application and initial lease signing stages are fairly good, but that isnt the part that resonates with us.After reading multiple reviews about Rese, both good and bad, it should be clear to any prospective client that people are saying the same things over and over again. Communication is rare, unclear, and fairly unprofessional. Documentation provided by renters is lost, not recorded, or perhaps overseen by contractual contradictions?Your customers/renters are reaching out to review platforms as a last resort to hear back from you guys. Please Acknowledge this as a problem and consider their customer experiences before it reaches this nasty point.

DO NOT RENT FROM RESE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT.I repeat, do not rent from them. I wish I would have listened to the other reviews.Go and read all of the negative reviews - theyre all similar. I promise, you will regret renting from them.Weve almost been with them for a year now. The house we moved into wasnt super great - it was nice for its price, but definitely not great. It wasnt cleaned before we moved in. Shortly after (within the first two months) our water heater stopped working. The owner of the home wanted to blame us and charge us for things that had nothing to do with us. The owners parents also came over OFTEN without any notice, which theyre required to give AT LEAST 24 hour notice - and the property management didnt do anything to enforce this. We felt like someone was always coming over and never leaving us alone. Then the house had more issues, and they had to completely destroy the yard to fix the water problems, and even had the house flood in some rooms.During all of the problems, RESE was very hard to get in contact with, and they never gave us direct answers. Not only that, but when they had told us one thing about any issue/comment, they came back and told us something completely different. They would send someone to inspect the house, and they always gave us rave reviews - we took care of the house and kept it clean, and they STILL wouldnt leave us alone. We had to start keeping every conversation in writing, as they were lying to us. They have made living in this house absolutely miserable - and continue to do so. Even writing an email to them asking for a prompt response wont get you anywhere. So I guess if you DO decide to rent from them, keep everything in writing, make sure what they put ON THE AD IS ACCURATE (because yes, they even lied about what was on the ad) before committing to buying/renting anything from them. Oh, and make sure they read your application thoroughly, since they tried to take us to court over something that was THEIR MISTAKE - when they had just forgotten to tell the owner about something on the application. Bad bad company. Most unprofessional place Ive ever worked with. I dont know how theyre in business.

If I could give negative stars I would, this is the most useless property management company I have ever experienced. They never follow through with maintenance, always make excuses. The staff are completely unprofessional, they are liars and they make up false charges that the owners dont authorize.I am so grateful I was able to get in touch with the owner of the property he learned the truth about them and fired them. Thank god I dont have to deal with Rese any longer .

I have been seriously unimpressed with RESE PM. An amazingly disorganized group that has proven multiple times that tenant safety is far from their top priority.
