My tire blew out on the freeway and I made it to Jeds in the nick of time. He was very caring and helpful. I would 10/10 recommend them!

Today it was pouring rain and we blew a tire on the interstate with 3 teenage girls and a 8 month baby in the car. We had a spare tire but not the right tool to change the tire. We limped our way off the interstate on the rim. We were looking for a gas station but happened to run across Jeds. They got us right in even though they were busy. They were friendly and professional and got it fixed right away. We were scared of the answer when we asked how much we owed them. To our surprise they said nothing. I have been taking my auto repair and maintenance needs to Jeds for many years. They have always been honest with any work that is needed to be done and there price is always what they tell me and many times under the quoted amount if the required work or parts is less than expected. They never tried to sell me services that were not needed and were up front with me when services were going to be needed in the future. I called to see about getting an ATV tire fixed because of a leak. Chad answered the phone and was very professional, friendly and glad to help. When I arrived with the tire, as I walked to the front to set the tire down, Chad was there and recognized me due to the ATV tire I was carrying (I assume), introduced himself and said “You just called, I’m Chad and I’ll take this and get to work”. He was finished in about 15 minutes, loaded it in my truck then didn’t charge me despite my willingness to pay for his service. He went above and beyond for even a little service request. I did buy a tire repair kit for my ATV, so they did get some money... thanks for the great service.

Very pleased. I called to check availability and they were able to see me directly. All of the crew were friendly and courteous. They were even able to ring me up a cheaper price than quoted!

They are the only tire shop we go to! They take such good care of us and treat us and our vehicles great! We have had multiple sets of tires put on by this business. I recently had a flat tire and I dropped it off right before they closed and they had it fixed first thing the next morning and didnt even charge me for it. The staff is great, they are good honest people and I highly recommend them.

The shop is amazing! All the workers are fast and friendly. I got a quote from another tire place for a mount and dismount. They wanted to charge me $50 dollars and they said it would take 3 hours. I went to Jed’s. They charged me like $16 and it took them only 10 mins to do. They even sell inner tubes to use on the water or the snow. I would recommend them to everyone.

If you live in Davis county, then Jeds is the place to go! I worked with Gary and he was awesome. Took his time talking to explain my options for wheels, tires, and a lift. No pressure and super professional staff. Not only were they great to work with, Jeds came in $700 under for the wheels, tires, and suspension package that the nearest competitor with better quality items. Jeds has a customer for life!

Phenomenal service always.

They advertise radiator repair. They don’t do that. Just will pressure test if in the vehicle. They should take radiator repair off their website. Kinda misleading.

Great prices and amazing service.

My brother and sister-in-law had a tire blow out last Wednesday (08/05) on their way to Salt Lake City. They were able to get a ride to Jeds Tire Pros as it was the closest and one of the only open tire shops at the time. They were told that one tire would cost $160. This did not include actually putting the tire on the vehicle. Apparently, that tire was the only tire that would work for their Mazda 3. So they took advantage of my brother and sister-in-law because they didnt really have any other choice and they jacked up the price of a single tire. After checking with their local auto shop, they learned that the tire wasnt even balanced. I am disgusted and frustrated about it. There is no excuse for the way they were treated.

These are the best guys in the business. Always friendly, and helpful.no reason to go anywhere else.

Update:Changed the review to a one star after mechanic failed to secure the throttle cable. Drove about 90 miles and started hearing whining. I pulled over to find the throttle cable resting against the fan blades. The fan blades wore down the insulation round the cable down to the harder plastic casing. Im not sure if it will have long term issues; Im just glad that it didnt break or catch on the blades. Im also happy to say I had some zip ties to hold up from falling down again. (This cable and the air intake are right above the replaced alternator)Original:This would be one star but the people there are friendly and I have friends that swear by them (because they dont sabotage their cars as they have had experience with other shops) and they actually charged me the amount they said they would for replacing the part. Saying that I have a old truck with very high mileage. I bought it for $1200 and it is a $1200 truck with its fair share of issues. So what did they do, find the most expensive part (2X of a reasonable part kind of like craftsman vs snap on) on the market added an expensive warranty and charge me time as tho I was an insurance company. I asked for an explanation of services and that is how I know what they charged me for. Only reason, I used them is my vehicle broke down within towing distance and my friends referred them. So if you want to be overcharged for time and product use this company. I would highly avoid this company because any other mechanic will give you a fair deal and charge you for the time they actually did on your car. You may ask why complain when they told you the exact amount they would charge and they did it? I was baffled by the quote that I thought it was an estimate hoping they would be honest with their labor and that they wouldnt treat my Mater truck like its brand new with a 200k miles left on the engine. FYI, I got two other estimates from shops that I trust but were way to far to go to and they were almost half the cost. So Im bitter, I kind of hope the part goes out so I can take advantage the warranty. But then again, I would be in a place where that warranty wouldnt be honored and I would be paying for it again. Dang Jeds Treads, I didnt even get dinner out of the deal; just some soreness.

Awesome place to go for tire work! They had the best I could find on a front-wheel alignment anywhere around, and got finished very quickly (almost an hour and a half earlier than I was expecting)! Not only that, but they were very friendly, extremely professional, and had just all around great customer service.

I have 3 vehicles and have been going to Jeds for years. I have had them replace a radiator, starter, brake service, front end work and tires among many other things. They are honest and very fair with their prices. It is hard to find a auto care place you can trust. I trust Jeds Treads.

These guys are absolutely the best I go to the dealer, Layton Dodge Chrysler and they want $1,500 to repair a minor mirror or door panel I go to Jed and $300... spread the word the good guy still lives on but not in the form of a dealership theyre all Crooks...

I fumbled around for years trying to find a shop that I consider my guy that I go to. A friend recommended Jeds to me a couple years ago and wow what a treat! They always take care of me on flats and the little stuff that sets a great shop apart from a good one. I see a lot of ladies coming here as well. Garry is awesome, doesnt try to upsell anyone and just gives it to you straight. I send my wife and daughter here all the time and dont have to call ahead...they just take care of them.

Jeds is one place I can go, and still be treated like family. I send all kinds of friends, family, and strangers into the shop. I know they will get the same kind of treatment as I receive.

I would not take my cars to anyone else. Gary is always happy and will do what it takes to make sure that my car is good. Being a female I was worried about being taking advantage of. I can not tell you how many times the will tell me if it is a have to right now or in 3 months, or 6 months, etc. Very honest bussiness.

It makes me sick to even leave 1 star. This is the most dishonest car shop i have ever been in. They will nickle and dime you. Fix parts that dont need to br fixed and charge you for it, and then act like they helped you. Stear clear!
