After 22 years with the same agent in another practice, I was hoping to find a family like experience with this agency. That was not my experience. John Sill and his staff have been very professional and helpful with my transition from my old insurance company to Farmers. I switched to Farmers 6 months ago. My only complaint, and the reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5, is that I was told that if I took an online AARP course I would receive a 15% discount. It was a very, very long course that I took, only to be told after spending a week, several hours a day doing this online course, that I would, in fact, not receive the discount until my husband also completed the course, even though it is my car and I am the only one that drives it. I was mislead to think I would get the discount if I completed the course. If I had known that both of us had to complete the course to get my discount, we could have done the course together or I would not have done it at all. My husband is a very busy man and does not have time to complete the course, unfortunately. Total waste of my time

I have called the agency a few times with some questions related to discounts and other questions. The staff has always been very helpful and answered my questions in a timely manner. When they did not know the answer, I received a return phone call promptly.
