Brandi is just the absolute best - every time i have questions, i have answers same day. she follows up on things that got started weeks ago when i forget to call back. she always asks about my family and genuinely cares for us. And all this from INSURANCE. Amazing. My favorite thing about SCI is that i have a human to reach out to, rather than a call center somewhere in the world. I wanted to share my experience. After a car accident in March 2020 I had to get a new vehicle and my parents wanted me to get my own insurance. When I purchased my new vehicle April 2020 my father went looking for a reasonable car insurance policy for me because I have never had my own car insurance policy. My father was quoted by our local progressive agency, Stephens Chapin Insurance Agency in Lawrence, KS. My father wanted to make sure I had full coverage car insurance and the policy coverage was set too high (500,000/500,000). Once the policy was set the infromation was sent to me via email to sign. Stephens Chapin Insurance Agency did not inform my father that a 24 year old individual does not need a 500,000/500,000 policy, because I do not own a house or have a lot of assets.I recently contacted Stephens Chapin Insurance Agency to ask what could be done to lower my car insurance monthly rate and Brandi Ogunnnowo gave me a few unhelpful options and then told me that one of the accidents I had on my driving history would fall off in September and my premium would go down. I then contacted other car insurance companies to get a cheaper quote. I gave the GEICO agent the needed infromation and he told me that my policy coverage with progressive (500,000/500,000) was too high and most people my age have (300,000/100,000) or less for the policy coverage. Because I am not well versed in auto insurance policies I did not know that my coverage amounts were too high I was overpaying nearly $100 a month... that was really Stephens Chapin Insurance Agencys job to inform their customer of reasonable insurance policies. With the same 2 accdients on my driving history, and my policy coverage now adjusted GEICO lowered my car insurance monthly payment from $220 to $146! I called and cancelled my progressive insurance the next day! I emailed Stephens Chapin Insurance Agency to ask if there was an error made in setting my coverage so high and Brandi Ogunnowo emailed me back and said when she initally spoke with my father they discussed putting your liability limits the same as your fathers. I thought you had looked over the coverages, and again my dad and I are not experts in auto insurance policies.I would NOT recommend Stephens Chapin Insurance Agency unless you want to be overcharged $100 a month/$1200 a year.

Chris and his team provide a variety of insurance products for our personal and business needs. They find the best plans and rates for us and their insurance providers have always been more than fair with claims payouts. We have made homeowners hazard insurance claims for hail and wind damage, several auto claims and were very happy with the outcome each and every time. I highly recommend them!
