Chris at Raffi Motors is the real deal!As someone who doesn’t know too much about cars, he’s the mechanic you always hope to find. After seeing recommendations of his skills with Subarus on Reddit I decided to call him up and bring my car by. He was quick, communicative, and very friendly. My vehicle did not end up needing any repairs- but he checked it out thoroughly, topped off fluids, and filled up my tires too. At the end he didn’t even want money for his time or work. I will absolutely come back with any of my car needs. Highly recommend.

Chris is an incredible human being. Not only is he a master of his trade but he is honest, kind and humble. My family has been going to Chris for years and he literally goes out of his way to help me any way that he can. I am so thankful for Chris. He is such a great person and I could not recommend him enough.

Most honest mechanic Ive ever met. Super nice and super fast. Will not take advantage of anyone. Definitely suggest him if you have a Subaru, but even if not hes a great mechanic otherwise.

Everyone let me tell you, CHRIS IS BY FAR THE MOST HONEST MECHANIC I HAVE EVER TALKED TO. Very humble and kind too. He is obviously very knowledgeable in what he does, he specialize in Subarus. He gave me alot of tips and good recommendations for my car. He suggested about a product to use from Pepboys but he forgot the name, went to pepboys and had trouble finding it so I called him up to ask but he went above and beyond and drove over to the store to find it with me. Also told me about secrets of some shops trying to get you to do and buy some services and things you dont need. He couldve made some money easily from me but like I said HE IS THE MOST HONEST OF THEM ALL. I WONT BE GOING THROUGH ALL THIS EFFORT OF WRITTING THIS COMMENT IF IT IS NOT TRUE.

Chris is the best Subaru mechanic in Los Angeles.. hes also fully component on pretty much any other car you can think of. Never upcharges or does frivolous work to pad the invoice. Really nice and friendly and just an all around great guy. Ive been going to Raffi for over 10 years now and will continue to use it as my go-to garage.

No joke. This guy is for real. I expect the reviews are for real as well. He loves the Subaru cars. He does not want to do repairs that are not necessary. It seems to be part of his personality. Chris is an honest man and he knows the cars from working on them for most of his adult life.Our 99 Legacy runs like new. Chris has been the only mechanic I have taken my cars to since 2005. He has always been very reliable, honest, and provided fast repair services. Chris has also completed repairs that were needed but never charged me for them. When I did not have money to pay right away, Chris always said Come get your car, pay me later. He never made me sign contract,he never called to ask where is his money. He allowed me to bring the money when I could. I pray God continues to bless such an awesome mechanic. MY MECHANIC.

Quality work performed competently and quickly. I requested that both front axles on my Outback be replaced due to cracked CV boots. Chris called within an hour of dropping the car off to tell me only one actually needed to be replaced which he did for a reasonable price. On another occasion I had a seized O2 sensor replaced and the car smogged quickly even considering a holiday.Ive been to numerous shops in the southbay and this is the only one Ive been remotely satisfied with.

There is no more ethical and honest mechanic in the South Bay, regardless of who makes the car than Chris at Raffi. I had the pleasure of working with Chris on a regular basis as a former employer always sent their vehicles to him for repairs and service. I drive a 2003 Hyundai Sonata and would not dream of trusting my car to anyone else, PERIOD.
