I drove my Mini Cooper S in because check engine light had come on while my son in law was driving it to LAX.He said it had “ cut out” felt like lost power while driving.MMS was awesome, listened to what I said, did electronic diagnostics, put on rack and quick check.Diagnostic was good. Might of been DSC switch upright and on bumpy uneven roads wheel sensor could of been off.They were so nice, helpful and of course said get a more thorough check when I get it home to northern ca.Really appreciate their prompt help and thoroughness.

MMS Autosport completely saved my 2009 Mini Cooper S from the junkyard.It spent a rough time in Virginia and Italy before coming to LA. During that time, the engine was leaking, clutch was bad, suspension was shot, and fuel lines and pumps were broken. Mark, Jessie, and team basically rebuilt everything. New custom suspension. It rides like a dream! Better than new and worth every cent.Theyre the only ones I trust with the maintenance. Theyre quick, honest, and the best shop Ive ever worked with on any of my cars. I drive over an hour to them for everything.

Honest group of guys who know the ins and outs of the MINI family and they don’t bs you with extraneous things. The complimentary inspection saved me after finding a worn out water pump timing belt and pulley. Definitely plan on taking my JCW back to them for all maintenance.

These guys make MINIs affordable to own.Since moving to LA our minis have been punishing us. My fiances battery died at work (F60) and my N14 decided in N14 fashion to start leaking from every gasket and seal in the engine bay. Let me just say if you’re in the Southern CA/LA area MMS AUTOSPORT is the ONLY option, forget the MINI dealer. When her battery died they stayed late so we could jump it and get it there AND worked on it on the weekend (although they’re not technically open) so I would have a car to get me to work on Monday. Then the leaky project N14 we bought decided to stop leaking and start spraying. We had them do the oil filter housing gasket, turbo oil lines, vacuum pump, and water pump w hoses and a service. They knocked it out in a day including all the engine bay cleaning and quality checks.5/5 ⭐️Highly recommend

I can not reccomend this place enough. If you own a Mini and live in the LA county, there is no other shop you should go to. They know these cars inside and out and are honest workers who tell you exactly whats going on and arent in it to cheat you out of money or talk you into services you dont actually need. Their prices are fair for the quality of work they provide and always use OEM spec parts along with high quality fluids. Theyll do everything from basic maintenance to helping you with picking out performance parts for a track day. Ive been taking my 2011 Mini Cooper Countryman S to them for over a year now and could not be happier. If you own a Mini, you should be going to MMS.

I had taken my 2012 Mini to another shop for a previous oil change because it was close and convenient to my home, that was a mistake and I will never take it anywhere else but to MMS. Its a little bit over price, they may be good but the labor cost is too much and estimates are loaded with unnecessary repair ordes. If you dont accept the repair work the put together, they push you to do it as if its the end of the car, very annoying, there, I have to leave the premises with out the repair I insisted. The next day, I took it to the dealer and it cost me only one third of the estimates they offer me. May be a good place but the repair order and cost is over loaded.

Brought my car to MMS cuz I wanted a shop that specializes in Mini Coopers. My R53 had both driverside and passenger side CV Boots leaking grease and I also had a Service Engine Light P0444 code. I read all the great reviews so I thought Id give them a try. I initially spoke with Mark who gave me a fair quote over the phone for the rebuild of the axle and install. Jessie was the one that assisted me at the shop and he was professional and provided great customer service. I liked how their tech was thorough on their inspection of the vehicle where he was able to point out an oil leak around the oil cooler gasket, filter housing and power steering suction line. Though I wasnt thrilled with the unexpected additional cost, Im glad that the car is now free of any oil leaks. The shop is clean and the quality of work was top notch! The car runs like a champ! Thank u! I will definitely use this shop for future repairs/maintenance that I cant do myself.

I found MMS Autosport when my beloved Mini Cooper Clubman was approaching 80,000 miles and my previous mechanic was pressuring me to get a new car. I have never really loved a car before but this one is fun to drive, easy to park in a crowded city, and surprisingly spacious when I need to haul stuff around. Over the past few years Mark and his crew have not only kept my car running but now, nearly 30,000 miles later, it’s running better than when it was new. I am not exaggerating. They do an end to end inspection every time I have an oil change which allows me to stay ahead of any breakdowns or malfunctions. I have never kept a car this long but I feel like I can continue to enjoy my ‘lil minion for years to come.

Came in for numerous items to be addressed....the repair bill was massive as the car needsquite a bit. Discussed my drivability concerns and arrived at a semi affordable resolution. I was headed in the wrong direction and Jessie and crew got the train turned around. Car is on its way to being a solid performer. Left with a new waterpump, radiator hose, belt tensioner, rear rotors pads and stoptech lines all around.I did quite a bit already but the car needed help quicker than I was able to work. MMS squared it away big time.

This shop is very trustworthy and does great work.They have kept my Mini maintained and working properly for years. They are also capable of doing suspension tunes, corner balancing and sell their own house brand of performance parts. They have setup my cars suspension and it handles better than I could have imagined.

A couple impressions of the repair of my car.1. the clutch is butter smooth.the first time i put my foot on it, i was shocked by the lack of resistance. I thought that resistance would add to pedal feel, but the lack of resistance actually allows one to manipulate the clutch evenly to any amount of engagement. so in a sense the lack of resistance adds to pedal feel.2. the flywheel.i never knew how much i was fighting the sloppy flywheel. so much feathering of the accelerator and clutch to take off.3. don’t underestimate the value of shifter cables.it was like adding gates to the pattern, or like having a new transmission. the precision of the shifter, going position to position, flows. it feels like it knows where to go now.4.the check engine light air leaks.the light was annoying, but it was losing boost. before, my idle boost numbers sat at about 18-18.5neg.. with the leaks fixed it sits at about 12.-13 neg. it also seems to run boost pressure numbers into the positive more readily now too. that i believe is causing it to run slightly warmer, but still plenty cool. i will monitor that, but i’m curious, what is the general temperature range of the engine?5. the water pump and pulley.why would anyone want to drive such a sweet car, that sounds like there’s a flock of birds under the hood. no more embarrassing squeaks of unsightly leaks.thanks so much for everything, it has changed this car for the better. I tell everyone who will listen. i had it in two very competent shops in Reno, but Mini Motoring Solutions was the first time i felt someone understood the car and what i wanted to get out of the car.thanks again B.

Ive been taking my wifes Mini there for over a year. Mark is very knowledgeable, kind, and polite. He always emails you an estimate and breaks down the procedures he is working on. Sometimes, if the diagnosis is a bit on the expensive, he takes it in stages to get the work done. So far in our Mini life, hes the best!

A few years ago, I started going to Marks shop. My 2009 MINI Cooper S was experiencing major issues: the infamous chewbacca noise pulling into gear, shifting gears, and more. After calling the dealer and visiting a local mechanic, I decided to call Mark. After speaking with him for 20 min over the phone, I felt confident that he would be able to solve the issues. Mark not only fixed my clutch, he installed a better one, fixed a few additional items, provided exceptional service along the way, and didnt rip me off.3 months after the initial visit, I cracked my wheel after driving over a pothole. Instead of dealing directly with the dealer for parts, I opted to order the wheel from Mark. Hes super attentive, friendly, and all around great person and MINI expert.Since then, his shop has since expanded and hes grown his team, so its been great to continue to receive timely and unparalleled service from MMS Autosport.Highly recommend MMS for all the TLC your MINI needs.
