The resort was amazing in all aspects. It was close to the strip, had a beautiful interior and exterior, and great views from all rooms. We would have preferred a south facing room but were not disappointed. The suite had everything we needed, plenty of space, and the jet tub was luxurious! One of our favorite aspects was the convenience store downstairs for those late night snacks. And the shuttle was so convenient! We will definitely be visiting Wyndham Desert Blue again the next time we travel to Vegas.
It was a nice place with a nice view. My only issue is that they dont offer room service due to Covid. Which means no cleaning the rooms. When we arrived we cleaned it ourselves.
Not sure if because they were short handed or why. Arrived at 6 pm, room still not ready. Then when we finally got into the room it was not the one we reserved. Was told it was the only one available. We were there for a 5 night stay. Never saw a single person in the very long hall, so not sure why they didnt have the right room. The only positive about the stay is the bartenders at the pool bar were the best!
I took my family to Club WYNDHAM Desert Resort in Las Vegas and it was beautiful. My family and I loved everything about it. I would recommend for everyone to check this resort out when you are staying in Vegas. I had a one-bedroom deluxe with a beautiful view. The service was great and in all aspects room service pool service, rooml service and front desk service. Everything was great and they had a workout gym and a game room. The best stay that I have had in Vegas in the past 3 years. We for every year for our sons football tournament. Hands down Club WYNDHAM Desert Resort was #1.
Generally clean. Staff are very responsive and the beds are not super soft. I appreciate that I can actually climb out of bed here unlike many places Ive stayed. Pools are awesome and there are lifeguards too. My daughter loved the splash area. I wish the pools were open a little later and the sales staff were a little less... pushy. Otherwise, great location.
I had a great time staying here. It’s a nice change of pace from staying on the strip. It is nice and relaxing and not far if you want to go to the strip. While I was there I left my AirPod Pros and thought they were going for good since I live in Colorado. After a week of thinking about it I called and asked if they found them. Less than 30 minutes after they took my info I got a text saying that they found them and a link to a site to have them mailed back to me.Great customer service.
Beautiful location! We spent 4 nights here in a 4 Bedroom Presidential Reserve Unit and it was wonderful. My Family had 2 other 2 Bedroom Presidential Reserve Units as well on the 18th and 15th floors. To include Clearwater FL, the owner update was professional, concise and informative 👍! Not a pressure sales tactic and I loved it😃. The gentleman at the member services desk after you check-in, (Alex, Michael and I cant recall the 3rd gentlemans name), were absolutely wonderful 😀, fun and professional. They really made our day with the laughter 😃 we shared. My Family and I love coming to this property. ❤ Thank you for a relaxing and memorable stay.
My favorite pool experience in Las Vegas! 2 pools, 2 jacuzzis and a splash zone! The day rental cabana is equipped with a refrigerator, TV, couch and chair inside with 2 lounge chairs outside. They lifeguards had Otter Pops for the kids, free popcorn with all the seasonings, free snow cones and then walked around giving out watermelon in the 108 heat! The bar has everything you could possibly ask for and the menu for food was impressive. The pizza is far better than I expected and the bacon topping the nachos is delicious! The best experience for Labor Day!
Amazing service. They have amazing accommodations and not too far from the strip. Rio is across the street, there is a 🔥 dispensary just 8min around the corner. The pool is fabulous & they do shuttle & store runs...We found a Gem. Now is the best time to go.
The room was clean and awesome, comfortably fit 10 people in 3 bedroom. Valet was awesome, very fast. When waited, was only a few minutes. Elevators were also fast, waited very little for as well. Grill area was functional and got what we needed, but not social friendly with other guests. Housekeeping was also fast with any extra needs we had, even at 3am. Cant really walk to strip from hotel, but glad to hear of their shuttle. We had car rental, so didnt experience the shuttle. Staff very friendly and personable. Will likely stay again.
Was in Vegas to see the Ravens play the Raiders, (by the way Las Vegas Raiders fans are awesome). A group of 8 family members stayed here and we loved it, especially hanging out at the pool. Planning a longer stay next spring.
I planned a trip with 4 of my girlfriends... let me just say, I want to stay here every time... it’s like having a condo apartment in Las Vegas... it’s off the strip, very peaceful, less traffic... omg 😳 the views, the room, the pool was breathtaking... all five of us who are moms never wanted to leave. We missed our families but we didn’t 😂 if that makes sense. There is a shuffle that has location drop offs.. staff made sure we had water soon as we entered the doors. Valet guys not off brought up our bags but our groceries too... I love to cook and that kitchen had everything I needed... I could go all day about this place but I want to save it to myself... I’m afraid people will find out and it will be fully booked all the time.. I was in love. If you book here, you won’t be disappointed.. very family oriented with game rooms and all..
Nice place, close enough to the strip to get there in a few minutes with an Uber for 10-15 bucks and much much cheaper than an equivalent suite right on the strip. Only bummer is they give you a sales pitch to attend some presentation for an hour and a half. Not what I’m into when on vacation. But that’s just me perhaps.
Modern place very clean and great staff. But a couple small complaints. 1. Place is less then half filled, however gave me a handicapped room.(giant bathroom but the rest of the room small) 2. You cannot bring any coolers to the pool. 3. You cannot bring your own alcohol to the pool. 4. No door separating the bedroom from the shower. so if someone is sleeping you cannot shower. Why they didnt use another pocket door like between the shower and toilet. Hard to believe the designer missed this.
Have stayed several times and the hotel pools and staff are always wonderful.the location and amenties are perfect. Its too bad the sales staff didnt honor what was i was told if i woke up early to attend a timeshare meeting. But they didnt so i didnt attend. I just wish i would have known so i ciuld have slept in.
By far the place we stay all the time now. The staff is great, the rooms are clean and great sizes for most of the floor plans. The pool is outrageous! It feels like you are on a resort. The plus is its super close to the strip. You can walk or drive. This hotel is close to everything and its a great stay!
Spacious suite room. However it got no stove or range for cooking. Only a microwave. Room was not ready when arrived at 3 pm and finally checked in at 5:30pm. The manager was super friendly and treated you like family.
My family had an enjoyable experience at this location. Most of the afternoon spent in the pools and water spa. I recharged on the King Size bed. I need a mattress like it. Rooms are spacious. The staff are well informed and super helpful! We had a minor maintenance issue but nothing that Tito from that department could not handle.
Enjoyed the wine and paint very much, thank you Jack for a lovely class
Very pushy sales tactics. Left feeling frustrated and angry. Room temp will not go below 70. Low water pressure. Carpets felt crunchy. No in- room laundry at least in the studio room. However it was Clean and roomy.
Enjoyed every minute staying here. The check in was quick and efficient. The pool and jacuzzi was lovely.Highly recommend staying through air bnb, our penthouse suite was fabulous from the view to the distance to strip. And found Cigar Box right around corner hidden in plaza. We will be returning!
Wonderful!!!if youre looking for a family hotel that is relaxing, and has a high end vibe at a affordable price... well this is my choice, hotel has a calming feel to it, and the staff is tremendous.Enough said!
Loved it because its free. Place was awesome, free margaritas on the lobby. Parking was terrific. Shuttle to Caesars casino was so so, i waited 30 in the bus before it left for the casino.
The presidential suite is so beautiful!!! The views were spectacular. The staff was friendly. The bell boys, the front desk and the concierge were all lovely people who made our stay a 1st class experience. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The water had great pressure and was extra hot just like I like it. It was not on the strip but close enough to walk or a short ride in a lyft or uber. The pools were great and very relaxing. They werent overly crowded and the water was nice and cool. They had a bar and grill in the pool area to order drinks and food.
Nice hotel rooms had washer and dryer, jet bath, and fridge
Hotel was very clean and the staff was nice and accommodating. Not sure how new key wrist bands are, but I liked having that instead of the normal key card that slides into the door. Location of hotel is a few minutes drive from the strip. The suit we had was very spacious and has a nice view of the city. Didnt hit up the pool because it was not warm enough outside for my liking. Everyone in my party was pleased with our stay.
Arrived to check in at 5pm Friday room wasn’t ready until 11pm that night. I chose this hotel because it looked more updated. Some rooms I guess are not as updated as others and I truly received one not up to par. I called requested another room of course none available. Water pressure was low, bed & pillows uncomfortable. The Grill food was not good, the drinks were sweet with no liquor and bartender was rude not mention the pool closed at 8pm. I really was expecting better this was a rather disappointing experience especially for their prices.
Wow what a GREAT PLACE, AWESOME STAFF, NICE ROOMS W/ SOFT SHEETS & COMFORTABLE BED, & THE POOL WAS REALLY REALLY NICE AND CLEAN, DEFINITELY WILL RECOMMEND MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO STAY THERE
Staff was very friendly but no very helpful in getting us a taxi. We were told by a taxi driver they usually dont go that far. So we got Uber, very fast and wait time was less than 10 minutes rather than waiting 1 hr for a taxi.
We are owners and there is no pressure to buy. You can get the incentives up front. Our one bedroom was spacious and had a washer and dryer. Alex thanks for the recommendation to Mon A Mi Gabi. We had a great time.
Clean, spacious, pleasant employees. Comfortable beds (not sure about sofa beds). A very relaxing pool area with something for everyone. Security was present but not overbearing. Great views in the even numbered rooms.
Was able to get a unit by reserving it through RCI. Really great resort with a lot of good amenities. My family and I really enjoyed their pool area.
I recommend this place to everybody full size kitchen one bedroom and washer and dryers. The staff is superfriendly on the valet is awesome. They even call to make sure everythings good and you dont need anything if you call up front guest services they will get you anything you need so quick..I usually hate hotels and Im ready to go home because theyre so uncomfortable but this place makes you feel like youre at home They also have a pool table on a Football table.. Is splash pad a really nice pool and a little store at front.....Absolutely love it here its right across from the Rio so you have gambling very close.. Ill stay here over anywhere next time I come to Las Vegas..
The workers there were courteous and helpful. They were not pushy.
Beds comfy. Staff helpful. Great amenities.
It was very good ! I loved it the hotel was very very clean there was some nice size beds it was so awesome the pool was super clean they offered bringing our stuff up stairs the people working there were so nice they helped us because it was our first time they walked us all the way to our room and they even left some snacks in there for us i definitely recommend this hotel ❕
Last time I was in Las Vegas I stayed at the Wyndham Grand desert. This time I stayed at the desert blue. Its a much smaller location but it is beautiful. Very well kept very clean and very nice blue theme throughout. The parking was very easy right behind the building and the bellman service was excellent as well as the front desk service. I would definitely recommend this place. And its right across the street from the Rio so its away from all the insanity but still within striking distance. I stayed in the one bedroom deluxe. The bed was very comfortable the televisions were nice the one in the living room actually extended off of the wall and you could angle it so you could see it from the kitchen. Also very easily accessible HDMI ports so I was able to plug in my computer as well to the television. Wonderful stay all around.
This resort is very nice and clean, it is a time share sales place so be aware of that. We dug our heels in this time and refused to go to the time share seminar because we were only there a few days. The Desert Blue is not right on the strip but they do have a shuttle that will take you to and from the strip between 4pm till 1:30am. They do have a few pools but only one was open while we were there and a bar/grill to get drinks and a bite to eat. Honestly it was quite and relaxing while we were there. Staff was nice and the room was very nice and clean. One of the most comfortable beds I have ever had at a hotel. Not stiff as a board actually had some softness to it. Also the room came with a full kitchen which is great to have especially if your there for a week. Also in the mornings the shuttle will run to the supermarket. So all in all, nice place and I would stay here again.
Family friendly. Staff super nice. Then only down side was that they took long to have our room ready to be able to check in.
An amazing place to stay in Vegas to get away from the hustle of the strip!! Great staff that is informative and helpful. Couple and family friendly!!
First off we Specifically Booked this Hotel my Mother and father Loved it but when we checked in they had us Booked at another sister hotel we had this Reservation well beyond 5 months Reservation with this Specific Hotel !! Not some other Hotel Please make sure that you are going to Stay in this Hotel as they Move you without Notice we asked to speak to a Manager but Unfortunately they were NOT Available its Very Sad we Loved this place Unfortunately we will Never come back I Warn anyone else please make sure your Bookings are Secure
Classy, bujie and pricy, but worth the dough if your up for a very much deserved stay or vacation in Vegas.
Views of the Vegas Strip are spectacular and the 3 bedroom units would make a wonderful home for most of us. Except for the Rio, it is a little remote from the casinos, but they do offer a free shuttle to the Strip and a local grocery store.
Excellent hotel, very clean, comfortable suite, convenient location for getting around to explore the area. We really enjoyed the pool area, its very clean, and the lifeguards really do pay attention. Staff at the hotel were friendly, from reception to maintenance. The hotel also has a complementary shuttle that goes to several locations, with longer service hours Friday and weekends. Great experience.
Friendly staff. Nice place. Enjoying it very much.
This is a very clean and comfortable hotel with a premium feel set about 2 football fields off the strip near Caesars. The Presidential suite was amazing with large glass walls facing the strip and very high vaulted ceilings. The shuttles to and from the strip, grocery store and mall run like clockwork. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Additional comments to my last review: they allow you to drink at the pool, but you cant bring your own alcohol. You have purchase their alcohol...isnt the cost of the monthly HOA fees enough???
Very very nice place clean the customer service was great..
Beautiful quiet place. Service is outstanding.
Lovely establishment & staff little understaffed but on point willing to go the extra mile to see that your happy, thanks Club Wyndham Desert Blue
Stayed in a Presidential Suite on the 16th floor. Excellent view with 3 different panoramic windows - Customer service was friendly & courteous - Assisted & accomplished any inquiries/needs wanted.
Wo...loved this place!!! Very clean and professional, friendly staff. Loved the pool & BBQ area, truly felt like home thank you!!!
Great stay. It was clean and the beds are comfortable.
The rooms were wonderful and very quiet. The pool was perfect and all the emplwe had contact with were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again.
Beautiful well kept Resort. Great service and Staff.
Great Resort! Wonderful service and facilities! Looking forward to a good time ...
Perfect view of the fireworks great staff you are vip at this place for sure valet is on top of there game as well
Beautiful hotel with plenty of amenities. Games pleasant pool with bar and grill
I haven’t even gotten into my! I wouldn’t recommend staying here. No ones wants to do their job and no one has any answers either. Never EVER staying here again. I’ve never been so inconvenienced in my ducking life
Facility was clean. Concierge was very helpful and complimentary valet parking attendants are quick.
Great staff nice pool and very clean hotel
Great place to stay! Clean, and comfortable.Friendly staff!
Amazing hotel for the price. 2 nice pools and 2 hot tubs. A billiards table fitness room and a beautiful view of the city. Great hotel for a fairly cheap price.
The hotel and staff was great, I was very disappointed by the sales pitch! Telling us that the maintenance fees would be over double in January over $600. This is the second year using it. Found out it was a lie to sell more points. This needs to stop.
New clean modern facility. First stay at a Club Wyndham property and Im impressed. Also great view of Strip and easy access on uncrowded back roads.
Great place. Quiet and friendly staff. Stayed at one of the Presidential Suites very posh, comfortable mattress; didnt care for rather uncomfortable chairs in the living room area, felt like waiting room chairs, couches at a dentists office.Liked the shuttle not only to the strip but to Smithys, a local grocer.
For over 15 years I have stayed at the Wyndham Las Vegas Grand Desert. This was my first time at the Desert Blue. I was very disappointed. I felt I had no value to staff at check in. I was early and was prepared for a long wait for my 3bdr Presidential Suite. Therefore I occupied myself a couple of hours at Ceasars and at breakfast. Upon return my suite was still unavailable and though assured repeatedly that it would be only a short time before it would be ready, I waited more hours in the lobby. No one attempted to provide updates. Once in the suite there was a distinct odor (sewer). Housekeeper Arturo was familiar and arrived with spray and assured me he would add an additive ? to the toilet/ bathroom in question. Also the sheets on the master bed had a stain and had to be changed. Arturo was helpful and courteous.
Loved the location. The view of the strip was perfect from here. I’m not a fan of being in the midst of it. I prefer the seclusion of the location. The view allows enjoying the ambiance without the stimulus overload. The place itself is lovely and the staff’s great. Love the rooms and whole get up. Kitchens rather tiny but, it’s no big compared to the whole of it. Its wonderful. If you’re not an introvert, you’re probably more of a Grand Desert person.
Hotel was very cozy, the ambiance is surreal, everything was so fine. Definitely one of the best hotels to stay in vegas!
Had a good if not quick weekend in Vegas. The stay at the Desert Blue was very good, clean and close to the Strip
Clean, very well organized, pool small but ok, parking at this point compared with other vegas locations its very convenient 👍
Speakers in all the rooms? Beautiful resort. Dont do the Update. They lie.
Veer nice customer service is top shelf. Everybody working here is about the visitors. Loving my vacation. Thank you Wyndham.
Beautiful place and right across the street from the Rio Hotel and Casino
Beautiful place to be really enjoyed my stay the staff is greatly wonderful and to top it off love the Anniversary gift t was not expecting that
I just want to mention after putting my review. I have been responded back by wyndham group to send email and they will contact me. I did that and sent 3 more reminders but no one call back. So it seems they just put in portal to show they concerned. But actually not follow.I know Wyndham is a chain of hotel. My review hardly make difference to them. But I still want to put this as I want to share how they made me and my family feel. Who planned happy vacation and they made the WORST EVER MEMORY to me and my family. One of the TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE of my life with this property and the lady at the reception (I know her name but humanity does not allow me to put that on social media) But she is the pathetic one that a hotel can make stand on reception. Well my family started 4:00 am from NJ. I was my friend and there are kids in my group. We reached here in Vegas and had a reservation about a month back for Presidential Suits 2 Bedroom. When I reached property the lady at the front desk about to give me/offered me Standard Studio -- Even though I booked presidential suits (confirmed on my Itinerary). Well she lied, yes she lied and told me, Ok so the Suite will take some time to get available and cleaning done and told she will call me when things done. After 30 minute she called and shared. There was an issue on booking and we can not give Presidential Suite. They SHAMELESS PPL keep on saying that I booked Studio Though I have in my Itinerary clearly mention I booked Presidential Suite. Wanna accommodate 6-7 ppl to a place of hardly ok for 4. She asked me to reach out to my Bank I used to book the reservation with this property at Vegas. This was proved to be the worst ever day of my vacation and I ended up almost 5 HOURS CUSTOMER CARE and my family remain waiting in CAR without room for whole day almost. The worst ever property and worst ever staff... pathetic experience.Never - Never Recommend and I wish they may feel same as I felt and my family felt. Dishonored and No-Respect.
Very comfy beds, typical time share amenities. Great for relaxing with family. Armbands are given out for keys, so make sure the kiddos keep track of their armband.
This place set the bar really high, Customer service was extremely great. Just the overall experience was awesome.
Hot tub was nice and strong, everything was clean and the staff was great, especially the valet staff.
It was a very nice resort! Everyone was really nice and very professional! Of course helpful to . were definitely coming back here. Sometime really soon.
Very nice. They are just missing the terrace.
Awesome property. Rooms are large and very well maintained.
Good resort, nice facilities, and you may still visit the computer room and activities room despite COVID so long as you keep your mask on. Room service and cleaning employees are friendly and warm. The front desk employees I found were not friendly but they were knowledgeable. The pool and cabana is so nice that you should spend a couple days there! Not to mention you get a bar in the pool area and a fire!!PS the beds are the most comfortable, cozy, warm yet breathable resort beds Ive ever laid in!
Convenient location close to the strip. Food is limited to the pool bar but it was very good. With covid restrictions if you want to hang out at the pool all day you need to reserve a cabana, otherwise you are limited to 2 hours. Newer property so its in good shape. We dont go to Vegas much but if we do we will definitely stay here again.
Great staff, comfortable and clean rooms
My favorite place in Las Vegas. Close, but not too close, to The Strip and convention centers.
Nice pool area suitable for family activity.
The Presidential Rooms are so awesome 👌
