AVOID THIS COMPANYI rented a property from them for 1 year. NEVER missed a payment, never complained about ANYTHING. The only service request I EVER made was when the AC quit working entirely. I even change the filters on my own MONTHLY. I was the IDEAL tenant.Yet when it came time to move out, they deducted roughly HALF of my deposit on bs fees. One of the deductions was a $325 cleaning fee. I sent them receipts of professional cleaning TWICE. This house was in better condition than when I moved in. I even put new weather strip on the back door because there was a huge gap.Now they are making me jump through hoops to get my money back. Im not playing that game. I am an optometrist, so that petty $600 is nothing to me. This is 100% on principle. I will write reviews until ALL of my deposit is returned.

Lived in a home managed by GoldenWestManagement for 4 years. I always had a great experience. Ashley always so helpful. Whenever I had a maintenance issue they would get back to me very fast. My AC messed up 2 times during the horrible summer and they would always send someone the same day I would have the issue. I never had a problem. I am so thankful because they made our 4 years living here very comfortable. The owner was also very generous during COVID. They were all very understandable all the time. We moved out in June and leaving was very easy. The only thing I had an issue with is that they charged us $100 for keys when he turned in all of our keys and garage door (which never worked since we moved in) make sure they write down what you turn in when you turn in keys and ask for a copy of the paper. Other than that they were great. Thank you Ashley for always being so helpful and responding to my emails and calls right away.

STAY AWAY!! This management company likes to keep your $1400 security deposit even after you left the property 1000% better then you received it. Even after a court ordered judgment to return said deposit they don’t want to return security deposit! Back to court!Edit: $1400 security deposit PLUS tried to charge me an extra $200 for BS!! Not a “few hundred dollars” maybe had you returned at least $1200 of my deposit we wouldn’t have been in this predicament. No damage was done to property so I’m not sure what property you are looking at! I have all emails and pics of before during and after of all the problems and stuff I fixed just upon moving in. I think they have their properties mixed up!

My family just completed our rental application to one of the properties of GoldenWest Management. We are really hoping to get to live in this beautiful home. I am so happy because Ashley who is their Administrative Assistant helped me how to easily apply to our chosen property by sending the exact link of our chosen property. Ive rented a property with this company for a few months and have nothing but good things to say! They processed my app quickly and walked me through the steps like what documents I needed to have. Move in was fine and Ive only ever had a few issues I needed maintenance for, but they always come out pretty fast and are really professional. They rent houses instead of just apartments and I like that, it makes me feel like Im really at home.

Golden West Management Inc,If you are thinking of leasing your property with them or leasing from them I would look elsewhere. The staff turnover is absurd and there is absolutely no communication from their office to the residents. When we moved into the property it was not clean and we had no trash cans. When we asked about trash cans we were told we had to contact the HOA office. Why would they be in charge of that? Long story short we didn’t get trash cans for over 6 months, but once we finally did we were charged for the time we didn’t have them. This delightful leasing office says we never contacted them, oh but we had via email and sent them all those emails. I guess it doesn’t count if that person leaves the company and we are left to wonder the status of stuff. They never once told us that our point of contact was leaving and we would be dealing with someone else. Now as we get our deposit back we are charged for a cleaning service. So the one we had done and sent the invoice to them seems to not matter. This whole company is a racket. We dealt with one nice person; Renee. If you deal with a lady named Amanda I wish you luck. You may be better going into the desert naked and hugging a cactus. Overall, the experience with them is disastrous and I would NEVER and I repeat NEVER recommend them to someone for either listing or renting. They have no clue as to what they are doing and will try to nickel and dime you throughout the entire process.We were required to get the house professional cleaned and carpets cleaned. We did this and submitted the receipts. Yet in all their wisdom Golden West Management charged us $160.00 for cleaning, $50.00 for general maintenance [were we not suppose to touch anything while living there?], $90.00 painting/patching, $30.00 trash removal [what trash? all trash was in the garbage cans that WE paid the month for], and $10.00 to send us pour deposit check. This company is a scam. Dont use them!!

In my experience I had a little bump in the road with this company but after I talked to the mangers they’ve been helping me with being responsive and very professional about everything.They’ve been keeping me in the loop about everything and that’s what I’m loving .Almost going to sign my lease with this company today to make it official .

Golden West management is a midsize property management company that handles several different properties here in Las Vegas and Henderson. They have some special programs for low income potential clients. They have been around for a while but since rentals are moving so fast their inventory is small at this time.

What a sh--show. This company has listings for rental properties on Zillow and you have to go through an automated system to connect to someone who doesnt know anything. Then they send you a link so you can sign up and be on their list, and then after signing up you try to schedule to view a property and it says no available time slots! What a waste of time. There is no knowledgeable person there to provide any kind of answers and nobody to show you a property. What a joke. If I were an owner, I would NEVER list my property with this mgmt company. They are not managing anything. Do I sound angry? Absolutely. I feel bad for the property owners who use this company.

Ive been a tenant for almost 3 years, and have always had a good experience. I want to shout out Jessica for always being on top of my repairs. She is very responsive and makes sure things are fixed correctly and in a timely manner. She always answers my emails within an hour of sending them even if its after hours. Thank you for caring.

I was recommended to GoldenWest management from a friend who told me they were great in helping him rent out his house. Upon his referral I was welcomed with open arms. Trina, Veronica and Rona were very responsive and took care of all my needs. The company was extremely easy to work with and all the paperwork I needed done was all online, which was very convenient for me. During the pandemic they helped outline numerous options for me and my tenant. They were extremely knowledgable of all options. I would highly recommend them as a company to rent from or have them help you with your property.

The 5 star reviews are fake . Once you are excepted and get to know Veronica you will see the nightmare your dealing with. I think she should be a probation officer and not a property manager. I heard the way she talked to my brother who pays his rent on time and a simple question is too much for her .

THE WORST MANAGEMENT COMPANY I HAVE EVER RUN ACROSS!Zero Stars would be the correct rating.This company performed a bait and switch attempt on us when we rented a large home with three car garages, a nice manicured lawn and all the rest, then advised after the fact that they intended to sublet one of our garage spaces.Nothing in the lease, nothing in the ads, nothing at all except snotty attitudes and entitled behavior that makes us sure they do things like this on a regular basis.Despite a legally binding contract this company harasses tenants and bullies them in attempts to maintain their apparent side hustle.Do yourself a favor and find a reputable landlord.

Everything seemed great at first! When I moved in, I hired a landscaper so come and clean up my yard, but after a month these other landscapers started coming. I tried to explain to them that they had the wrong address and I had a different landscaper already but they argued and there was what seemed like a language barrier between us as they didn’t speak English too well. I gave up trying to tell them as they just kept coming back regardless and cancelled my landscaper. Well it turns out that either the management company or the owner of the house I’m renting took it upon themselves to hire these people without telling me (even though the landscaping is MY responsibility) and then hit me with the bill after 8 MONTHS! That’s an $800 bill! They sent me copies of the bills that were all addressed to the management company and to this house yet I never received a bill, the first one they received was early March! They have tried to tell me the owner was billed, but I don’t see how since it’s not billed to them! The woman I was speaking to gave me her managers information since she couldn’t answer my questions and the manger has still not gotten back to me, it’s Monday and I emailed her on Thursday. While I’m willing to arrange some sort of payment plan for the bomb they dropped on me, they are refusing to answer any questions and instead added it to my rent. I had been trying to decide if I was going to continue to rent through them and renew my lease, but after this I don’t think that would be a good idea as they are being so unprofessional.

We worked with Marla who gave us information and a tour of a property. She is kind and answered our questions about the property. She was upfront in that the property needed repairs and stated they will be done in a timely manner. We had no difficulty in working with her.In addition, we worked with Veronica at GoldenWests office and she was kind and answered all our questions regarding a lease. She confirmed that repairs are being done to the property and handled working with another agent we worked with prior to viewing the property. She is wonderful.

Everyone is very professional and on top of things. I’ve never had any issues. Maria has been great, she got my AC work order resolved in 1 day.

I had a good experience at this place the first few years of my stay. Unfortunately, lately the area has been invaded by squatters. The very next one to this property is one.The heating system and air conditioner has been a problem every year. As amatter of fact as I am typing this message, I am in the cold for more than a week. The schedule to fix the heater has been cancelled four times since the 26th of this month.A different company came last Friday but unfortunately a parts needs to be replace and promised to come back today. I just called but they are still waiting for the parts supposedly to arrive today. So again they scheduled me for tomorrow.Hopefully everything will be fix tomorrow so I could comfortably function in this house without getting sick.Thank you for your concern.Alia Berry

Jay is a fantastic property manager. Recently, Jay was the manager in charge of our property. In the transition time period between tenants, he was very professional and attentive to all of our needs/wants. His communication was clear, recommendations welcomed and warranted, and always seemed like he had our best interest at heart. Rarely was there a time that I needed to follow-up on any requests or reach out to him as Jay was very quick to respond. It took 5 months to fix things that were supposed to be done before the move-in date, including a drawer that was completely useless in the kitchen. They did not know which mailbox belonged to the house and they gave me a garage door remote that was not compatible with the opener. That was fixed in the second year after sending 2 different repairmen.As issues would come up, if the owner decided that they found it too expensive or otherwise not worth fixing, the request would be discretely closed as if completed without remedy, reason, or reply.I had to pay $400 out of pocket in my second month because the master cylinder for the sprinkler system broke and water was constantly flowing. I had not even seen the sprinkler system yet and they took 4 days to send someone out to fix it. When I asked for help with the water bill, they said the owner did not want to use their one-time payment reduction program in case they need to use it again in the future.The house only has 8 of 16 screens on the windows and no screen on the sliding back door. Replacements have been refused, but only after closing the requests as fixed twice before I had to call and let them know it was not fixed.Very little communication is performed unless there is an issue with payment. On the plus side (the second star) they leave me alone if the payments all go through.I cant wait to see how much fighting has to be done to get any deposit back. Im sure they will try to charge me for cleaning new paint and carpet that was not installed for my move. Some stains and issues were there from the previous occupants.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. They are very condescending and try talking down to people as they try to explain away their blatant LIES. And for the record this is only day two in this house. I will keep you updated as the tragedy goes on. Superb customer service! GWM staff is always helpful with any concerns I have. My AC broke down on a weekend and I am somehow expecting that it will take awhile to be fixed as I previously experienced with another property management company. Two hours after I placed a request, the tech arrived and fixed the issue. Thank God it was minor but I appreciate the fact that I was given assistance on a weekend. I truly appreciate the service. Thank you for saving my weekend on a 100 degree weather.

GoldenWest Management was great to rent from. We sold our house in August, 2017, and the owners leased it back to us until our new house was complete. The owners used GoldenWest as their management company and Im glad they did. The experience was great. If your tenant is late paying the rent they dont mess around and serve them immediately. I’m not sure if these Google reviews can be trusted. They asked me to write a review before they approved my rental application. I’m assuming it’s possible they get a lot of their positive reviews this way. I have a screenshot of when they sent me the google link to post a review, 2 weeks before I moved in and 30 min before they approved.These people dont reply to maintenance requests in a timely manner. Its kind of absurd how long its taking to resolve a somewhat urgent matter with my dryer. Ive been using a laundry service for 3 weeks now. Veronica Gomez, the property manager, didnt reply to anything for over a week. The first vendor they sent didnt even work on the unit I have so they left after 30 seconds without doing anything.The bathroom lights are malfunctioning. They sent a vendor who canceled 15 min after time of appointment and despite working at this building before, doesnt know what parts to bring.Despite the normal stuff like scuff marks on the walls and some chipped flooring, I believe my unit was not properly cleaned to a normal standard before move in. The unit had dead bugs in it, a thick layer of dust on cabinetry, orange sludge near the bottom of kitchen area, dirty tile grout, and my feet turned black when walking around barefoot. I ended up cleaning this all myself. Also the ice maker had copious amounts of strange green sediment in it. I cleaned it and they did send someone who replaced the filter. This is the only issue that has been resolved.I sent evidence of the issues and Veronica Gomez, the property manager, ignored 3-4 emails requesting the place be cleaned. When she finally replied regarding other emails, she didnt address this at all. She is currently ignoring my emails again.They made me post a review before they accepted my rental application which is shady. I should probably report it to Google since their real score could be 2.5 stars or lower. A common theme in the bad reviews is that tenants are complaining that repairs take unreasonably long to resolve.Edit: she is now out of the office for 5 days after I sent an email just now, what a joke.

I started using GoldenWest in 2012 to manage my condo. Previously I was managing it on my own, and I wasn’t sure that a management company would give me the level of service I wanted because it was only a single unit. But over the past 6 years I have been extremely satisfied with GoldenWest. They always responded quickly to service requests, handled rent issues efficiently, and did it all for a very reasonable price. It was a great experience and I highly recommend using them to any prospective landlords.

Freaking AMAZING!! I went through three other property managers in four years with tons of shady and illegal issues and this company is no bs the only one to be honest, prompt and conduct business legally. GoldenWest Management was a pleasure to work with. They handled everything from start to finish. Their fees were very reasonable and allowed me to enjoy benefits of owning a rental property without the hassle or worry. I highly recommend their services.

We recently relocated to Las Vegas, and had to find and set up a rental in one weekend. The entire staff was amazingly helpful in getting us into the place of our choosing, and have been absolutely wonderful to work with. Despite having hundreds and hundreds of properties and tenants under their management, every time I walk into their office, there is a warm, peaceful sense of calm and friendly professionalism exuded by those in the office. Maria and the people who work with her are amazing. I would highly recommend GoldenWest management if you are an owner or a renter!

GoldenWest management is the worse management company I ever had contract with. They do not do anything right. If the tenant need service call for the property appliance. They call the owner insurance without letting the owner no about the service call. And the owner will get charge $85 are whatever their insurance is charging for service call. The service call could be a simple things that the owner can fix it him self. Like a broken windows blinds stick. Take less then 2 minuets to replace it. And it cost $1.99. But they GoldenWest is not confirming that to the owner calling the owner property insurance and costing the owner $85. And always they send the rent late and short for the ridiculous their company keep changing their policy. And keep changing the owners. And when the one year of the tenant contract about to be done with them. They take $250 from the rent holding for them self as hostage for the owner to renew the contract with them again. I had headaches since I had my 1st year contract with GoldenWest management. They find me a tenant they said it’s only two people on the contract . And there was 3 other people living with those 2 people without been in the contract. I find out because the neighbors called me and complain that there is 5 people living in your property and not following the property rules and regulations. Parking their car all over the places after hours playing loud music and living trash all over the complex . I called the GoldenWest talk to the manager by the name of Christie Tecson. She ignore me. Never solved the issue. And I had to tell the tenant my self. And the tenant start getting worse. I had to convict them out of my property.witch cost me $240. The tenant did not pay 2 months rent before they left. And destroy my property. And the GoldenWest management took $385.50 out of the $790 the tenant deposit for them self. They are the worse management company I ever had for period of 15 years was GoldenWest. (Very unprofessional and dishonest.)

Since taking over as our property manager, Goldenwest has been great. Our previous property management company, now out of business, took shortcuts and were basically horrible. Ive had no issues with Goldenwest and theyve been quick to respond to work orders and they always follow up with me afterwards.

I have been using GWM to manage my single family home in Las Vegas for 2 years now. My other 2 properties were with another company. GWM’s service is far more better than the other company so I transferred my other 2 properties to them. They recently raised their fee but it is all worth it. The other company charged me lesser but I rather pay for quality service.

I have known Elizabeth Yang for many year because she has been my Realtor since 2011. She has always help me and my family out any time we need anytime of Real Estate service. We have had our rental home managed by Golden West for over a year now. The house had some gas line and sprinkler issues recently. Elizabeth has worked very hard to trying to get the issues resolved. She spent a lot of time communicating with various parties and was on top of everything. We really appreciate with shes done for us.

Overall my experience has been great with golden west. The HOA in my neighborhood is a nightmare but it has been nothing but quick and easy fixes thanks to my Golden West property managers. The team always responses quickly and helps whenever I have an issue. Highly recommend GoldenWest if your looking into renting a property.

Recently purchased a house, and decided to use golden west management. Chrisinte is great. The first time i met with her, she was so nice. Walk me through the whole process step by step. She was very honest, detailed, and punctual. I just felt that this was the right property management company. I never felt like i was talking to a sales agent trying to be sold something. I highly recommend this place.

Still a bit early to give a proper assessment on their handling of my property but so far I am very happy with the service I have received.The ad I saw placed on Craigslist was excellent. Really loved the 360 degree shots and the clarity of the pictures. Your website is also very neat and easy to browse. Every time I have phoned with a question, your staff have been very help full and friendly.I cannot that I have ever had any other of my properties sign a contract and move in a few days later…well done. Goldenwest has been very helpful on issues with my rental. I used to manage it on my own but it was getting out of hand. Since I hired them everything went smooth. When I did a Google search, it turned out that Golden West Management had the highest rating with a lot of good reviews. After reading the positive reviews and talking with Christi (Property Manager at Golden West Management), I knew that this company would do a great job managing my rental. What is impressive is that they inspected the house, took pictures, listed the property, and found me a decent tenant in three days. I signed the lease agreement after five days of listing. They have been very responsive to my inquiries and always responded to my phone calls and emails right away. I needed an apartment ASAP because my current apartment was being sold by the owner and I didnt want potential buyers walking through my house every weekend. I went with my agent to see a couple places, put in an application that night and got a call and email from Maria the next day! I was so surprised with their turnaround- and Ive heard them mention that they try to get back with an answer within 24 hours! However, doing the process they needed confirmation from my apartment PM- I thought that I was out of hope because the office wouldnt answer their phones to confirm that I lived there. Luckily Maria put in overtime for me and went directly to her manager to get me approved for my apartment with a screenshot of my online portal account ledger. Two days later, I am moving into my apartment! Best management group Ive dealt with since moving to Vegas! Thank you so much ladies! When I buy my home, I will definitely work with you guys for property management.

Leasing process is easy and straightforward. I was approved for a property within 24 hours and moved-in in a week. Very helpful staff. I love the house I rented and all maintenance issues were addressed right away. Thumbs up to Goldenwest!

Golden West took 12 recently acquired units that other companies failed to occupy for me, and brought them up to full occupancy in about a years time. Elizabeth and Jessica are both very attentive in responding to emails and phone calls, and handling all issues that arise with units in some tough markets with the utmost concern. They are patient with tenant issues, resolve problems logically and expediently, and the accounting and reporting is always correct and on time. They have turned 12 non-performing units into good investments through hard work and at reasonable prices! Not much more you can ask for out of a management company!! Keep up the good work girls!!

I applied for a house and I viewed the same day. Got approval the next day and moved in within a week. Seamless. House is rent ready. I appreciate all the assistance they gave that lessened the stress of moving from out of state. Thank you Goldenwest staff!!

Thank you to Jessica for resolving my AC issue in a timely manner. I reported that my AC stopped working in the middle of the night. 10 am the next morning, a tech came to my house and fixed the AC. I am so thankful or I don’t know how to live on 105 degree weather. Thank you so much!!!!!!

If I could give Christie Tecson 20 stars I would. My Mother who owns the Las Vegas property and myself live out of state. Prior to moving from Las Vegas my mother (Landlord) ensured her property was occupied with tenants. After a month of renting out her property, and when time came to pay the rent, the tenants were not responsive. They claimed the property was infested with roaches all to withhold rent. We sent out a company to determine if the property had roaches since it had been roach free for years when my Mother lived there. The pest control service confirmed there were no roaches, vermin, termites, or any other insects. That is when a RED flag appeared and we decided it was time to look for a reputable Property Management Company. I am so glad, we found Golden West Management.Every time, we had a concern or question Christie and her team were very quick to respond or return my phone calls. Needless to say, the tenants (problem tenants may I add, that my Mother rented to;) realized they were dealing with a reputable company and would not be able to pull any shenanigans.I highly ....highly.... recommend this company. I have been a tenant for 2 1/2 years and have never had a bad experience with GoldenWest. All of my repairs were handled in a timely manner. I want to personally thank Jessica the maintenance coordinator for all her help with making sure my family and I are comfortable. Our AC went out in the middle of summer and due to past experiences with property management companies we called in yelling, and took our frustration out on Jessica thinking it was going to take days to fix. To our surprise Jessica was very calm and reassuring that she would have our air back in no time. About 30 minutes later the technician showed up and fixed our AC in no time. Thank you Jessica for everything you do. We are very happy to stay with GoldenWest knowing Jessica is on the team to take care of us.
