I would recommend going else where. Took forever for me to get a referral, thats after calling multiple times. Now that I need a doctors note to go back to work, still taking a long time to let me know if Ill be getting one.For my zoom appointment, I never received any information about the Zoom meeting until the doctor started calling me asking me if I was still attending.Seriously, look elsewhere. You wont get a timely response.
About two weeks ago there was an issue with my daughters prescription. So I call Nevada mental health and try to resolve the issue. My daughter has not seen her provider via tele-health visit for a few months due to her Dr being on a extended leave of absence. I am not leaving a bad review for the Dr not being available, we really hope she is well. My one star review is for the response of the personnel when trying to get renew my daughters prescription. To make this (unnecessary) long story short, multiple phone calls almost daily to the office where I was assured the issue was being taken care of. I was told that the requests were sent to the medical assistant (multiple times) and then sent to Dr Jeider (multiple times). My daughter was very low on medication so I was scrambling to make this work. We are working with a psychologist and making great progress, if we run out of medication it could be devastating to all of our hard work and progress. Then it happened, my daughter ran out of medication before the doctor submitted the prescription. We have already decided to move to another provider at this point but of course we can’t be seen right away by the new provider. So I still called daily to the office pleading if they could refill the prescription as we wait to be seen by our new doctor. Finally after running out of medicine this week and explaining we were moving my daughter to another practice, her prescription was filled. If you go to the Nevada mental health website, they have posted that Dr. Jeider is a “top doctor 2020.” How can one of the top child psychiatrist in the area not even fill a prescription in a timely manner? To be honest I was not even given an excuse or a reason for the delay. The receptionist only told me, “I wish I had an update”, or “I wish I had something to tell you.” This was just the straw that broke the camels back. We have had many issues with scheduling and billing. The most recent example, I received a bill in the mail that was a “second notice,” but it was the first one I received. Not only that it was billed to my daughter (a minor). I have received bills after paying in full, (no insurance), so there’s not even an excuse of an “insurance mix up.” As far as scheduling goes we’ve had to change our appointments almost immediately after making them all the way up to just days before something coming up.Dr Jeider might be an incredible Dr. but, the service surrounding him falls well short of acceptable. I hope they make some changes and get things right and I really hope no one goes thru what I did.
I would never recommend this facility
