Pete Smith has been helping me decide whether I should have my authentic Turkish rug professionally cleaned. I am considering using my hardwood floors without the rug. Mr. Smith and staff did an excellent job cleaning my extremely dirty and somewhat fragile rug, after I had spilled a mug of hot cocoa on it, which had dried up. It also contained years of ground-in dirt and I wasnt sure the rug was even worth cleaning. They managed to give it new life and all the stains came out! They are professional, friendly, and provide excellent customer service. I also really appreciated watching the videos on their website, which taught me a lot about handmade rugs. I will absolutely use them again; they know what they are doing and are reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

I had four rugs that I wanted cleaned. Two of them had strong smells from children vomiting, another from the playroom had a combination of dog and kid urine, and the last one mainly foot traffic. I found this business on a search and they answered my questions when I called. I took them up on bringing in the rugs myself to get a 15% discount. I felt like they gave me a fair estimate and were honest with me when they told me there probably wasnt much they could do for the playroom rug without me spending more on it than I would to buy a new rug. They told me to expect the rugs in a week and then called me back 3 days later to tell me they were ready. They were very helpful loading and unloading the rugs. The cleaned rugs no longer had the horrible smells they did and are back in place in our house. Overall, very happy with this service.

Pete was nothing but professional. He made sure I knew everything he was doing to my rugs and kept me informed during the entire time he had them. He both picked them up and dropped them off at my home, so the experience was as effortless as could be. Best of all, the rugs came out so very clean! My rug was last cleaned at a specialty place in Atlanta Georgia. My Persian rug is over a 100 years old and is considered in the palace Category. Mr. Smith and I went over the rug before cleaning and honestly there were a couple stains that I was very worried about. With Mr. Smith Single batch hands on rug cleaning process the rug did not even require stain treatment. Mr. Smith and his team do quality work and I will most assuredly recommend them and will be using them again in the future.

The cleaning services have always been first class, carpet cleaning has always left the carpet looking like new. Pete Smith at Smiths Fine Rug Cleaning went above and beyond to save my handwoven Turkish rug. It was damaged and I didnt know where to turn when I called Smiths. Pete explained that he didnt have a weaver on site, but he could help me find one. There are two shops in the western US with weavers doing this kind of work, and he was going to Dallas in a few weeks to see one of them. Pete brought my 4x6 rug with him on the plane to Dallas, and had it returned to him after the repair. Some of the fringe was tangled, and Pete steamed that straight and clean before I picked up the rug. He also listened patiently to my worrying over the problem as he helped me find a solution. I cant thank or recommend Smiths enough. There are not many businesses left where you can find this kindness and quality of service.

I contacted Smiths Fine Rug Cleaning and could not be happier with the outcome of my rugs. I have a dog that would use it for a pee pad, I thought it was destroyed. Pete and his crew worked magic !
