We really like this place! They helped us a lot in choosing just the right vehicle for us. Jorge is very patient and good at what he does. Follow up service so far has been excellent. They give a 30-day return guarantee and a 90-day full warranty. They also offered me (and I accepted) purchase of an extended warranty. Prices are a bit high, but I guess we cant blame them for that, all things considered. Cassi in Service is great!

Sold vehicle to CarMax was a very easy process and received more! for trade in than Toyota Dealer & possibly a slight amount less than online used car buyer company. I knew the process was seamless if you have all correct paperwork which we did. Process took less than an hour and very professional employees even though we are from out of state.

I went in to sell my truck. The gentleman at the front counter greeted me right away. He had me sit down with another employee, who was the appraisal person. She greeted me with a smile and asked me a few questions about my truck. I waited only a few minutes for my appraisal, and it was an extremely fair offer. I took the offer right to the business office. I waited a short while for them to do the paperwork, and received my check extremely fast, and with great service. It was a very easy process and I definitely recommend CarMax to anyone looking to sell their car.

Paid to have car shipped here. Went in and said we are ready to buy. Told to wait 1 hour. Ended up waiting 3.5 hrs. Asked for a bottled water and told to get it myself. Told by staff I should come back tomorrow. Completely unacceptable. Staff lounging around while customers wait for nothing. Customer service doesnt exist here. Stan the greeter at the door not friendly, lazy, not understanding, acts like he doesnt care if we buy or not.

All I can say is WOW!!!!!! My personal experience was just amazing today. Big huge shout out to KEVIN in helping me make my car purchase today as it is the first legit vehicle I have ever owned off a lot and not from Craigslist or OfferUp lol. The process was so simple, fast and easy. To be real, the wait time isnt ridiculous like other dealerships I went to. Also the environment and atmosphere is very clean and pleasant. Not a large selection of mid size SUVs at this time. But found something nice and reasonably priced. Will continue to choose Carmax for auto purchases. Helen who took care of our car buying experience was great!!! She answered all our questions and extremely professional. The problem we had is that you let a couple sit and purshase a car With No Mask in your building for hours. We had to say something to your manager for our saftey. Even then tbey didnt put a mask on. TRAIN YOUR STAFF!! MAKE IT MANDATORY FOR ALL. WE couldnt belive that your company would allow that but you did. Please your our favorite car place but implement Mask !!! Ty

The parking lot with cars is really big. You can walk around hundreds of cars on your own. Not sure its that easy to get attention of a sales person to help you review cars you like. The prices at the moment seems to be very high, they approach the price of a new vehicle in some cases. Overall this might be one of the best places to buy a used car, considering the choice of vehicles available.

CarMax offered me $2500 more than any Hyundai Dealership did for my Tuscon. The process was simple enough but there was a 1.5 hour because there were customers ahead of me. I would recommend working with CarMax especially for trade ins. I received the offer at the Henderson location and the offer is valid at any carmax for 7 days. great experience

I drove out of state to pick up my vehicle. I knew exactly what I wanted and had my financing in place, and made an appointment to complete the purchase. I arrived an hour early to my appointment just in case. They took so long (4 hours) to process my order that my credit union closed for the day. I kept asking our sales rep if there were additional steps we could be taking while waiting to speed up the process; he was brand new and I honestly believe he had no idea what the steps to closing a sale were. They would not allow me to take the vehicle to my local CarMax to purchase it there the following day. My only choice was to finance it with one of their financiers, or to wait two weeks for them to deliver it to my local CarMax. Five hours later, I drove away with my vehicle but still have to refinance with the financing I had already secured. They appologized and blamed the issue on being understaffed. If I had known they were understaffed, I would have arrived even earlier to ensure an easy purchase.Aside from the time issue, the purchasing process was pretty easy. They honored the online price I got beforehand for my trade and I didnt have to haggle for the price of my vehicle.I just wish it didnt take so long to purchase a vehicle.

Got a transfer initiated, a few days later I called to check on the status and was told that it was canceled by mistake and that the car is now being bought by another customer.No one at carmax tried to help and they just said that it was a human error. Very unprofessional, especially because I had setup my insurance and everything. Was even told someone from carmax would call to help me and no one ever did. Very unfortunate. Great cars, but customer service is non existent.

I took my Mercedes in for an A Service and I was beyond pleased with my experience with the entire service department. I would like to especially thank Maria and Darrel, for going above and beyond, to ensure that my vehicles needs were met on a timely manner. When they noticed I was stressed out about not knowing how to get back to work (Im a nurse and I work at a hospital) they quickly came up with a plan to allow me to return to work on time (since my rear rotors/pads also needed to be replaced). I could sense the urgency of their concern to help me with my situation and I was treated as if I were family. The overall atmosphere, cleanliness and positivity of the service department made things run more smoothly and seamlessly. I highly recommend this locations service department to others. The professionalism and service that was delivered most definitely surpassed any level of high-end service I have ever received at Fletcher Jones Mercedes Benz. Thank you for everything!

Employees and managers are subpar. Barely know anything about their vehicles and all they care about is getting their sale. Carmax is not the same as is used to be. Fortunately, theres a lot of alternatives. Think twice before buying something from them.

We went in on a Saturday and test drove a few cars deciding what we wanted. We narrowed it down to a car, but we needed to do some research since it wasn’t the car we had planned on buying. Our sales guy put the car on hold for us and we told him we’d be back Monday night. Monday night we came back in, got there at 7 ready to buy the car. Waited an hour before someone could help us which I understand they were busy but it was frustrating because seriously all we needed to do was sign the paperwork. Our sales guy was out of town so someone else helped us. He showed us the car one more time and we sat down and started the paperwork. After we finished the paperwork we just had to wait for the financing department to come and have us sign. We waited almost 2 HOURS before financing came out to talk to us!! At this point, we have a toddler who’s ready for bed because we thought we were just going to walk in and sign paperwork. Finally financing came out and clearly Daisy was ready to go home because rude and short doesn’t even BEGIN to describe her attitude. Like it was our fault that she had to be there so late when we were ready to sign paperwork over three hours before. So she rushes through it and tells us to sign. Well heaven forbid I wanted to read what I was signing to make sure all the numbers were correct. Finally after I sign she huffs off to the back to print the paperwork. Then she comes out and literally throws the paperwork TO the desk, says “have a great night” and walks off. So yeah, I’m mad. I yell back “so where do I get my keys??” And she turns around and yells “your sales guy will give it to you” and boom she’s gone. Like seriously, I wanted to walk in and buy a car. It took longer to walk in and buy the car than it did to pick the car, and that’s supposed to be my fault that Daisy was there so late. The sales guys were fine and nice enough, but seriously your finance department needs to get their attitudes in check.

They treated my family and I with respect and as though I was not their customer, but their friend. Went to sell my sisters car after her demise. We provided all the paper work for the sale and were told it would take about an hour. I left my phone number to call when ready. After two hours, not hearing from you, we called. We were put on hold for over an hour during which time we went back to CarMax to find out what the problem with. We showed them we were still on hold. They told us there was a lien on the car. After much investigation we called the supposed lien holder who advised there was no lien and it applied to the previous owner who turned out to be CarMax. This whole episode took over 5 hours before we finally got it resolved. Seems CarMax is not interested in customer service but refusal to answer their phones or putting you on hold indefinitely. Your phone call is not important to us contrary to their current answering protocol.

Had to get an oil change and general maintenance done on our car, took us months just to finally get a hold of someone for them to tell us our appointment would be a month out. At that point we needed our oil changed immediately (Car smelled like burning oil) and ended up doing it somewhere else but kept the appointment up for the maintenance (Tire rotation, fluid levels, etc.). Once we brought the car in not only did they insist that they had to change the oil but they never did any actual work other than the oil change. Replacing our old oil and filter with cheaper variants.

Had an amazing experience. They gave me a fantastic trade in price. I reserved my new truck online for a test drive. I came in and drove it, and asked if they could hold while I secured outside financing. Mo offered to hold it for a whole week with no further questions. As soon as I had the financing I was in and out of the dealership in an hour. I could not be happier!

Going to look around and shop at a traditional dealership is usually a nightmare. Old school lame sales tactics designed to make you uncomfortable and make a irrational decision. CarMax simply put is none of that. Its a refreshing experience. You can actually look at whatever you want without having to worry about pressure or having to negotiate price. Take it or leave it. They gave me a fair trade in value as well. If youre open to a used vehicle CarMax is worth a visit.

Recently just bought a vehicle at this location. The service center customer service is really poor. Ive had so many problems with my vehicle, it stays at CarMax more to be fixed than me actually driving the thing. I can never get ahold of anyone in their service department and with all these issues I would have been better off buying directly from a car dealerships.To add to this, every time I take my car in for repairs I magically end up with 200 extra miles on my car. Like make it make sense. This company is ran very poorly and I do not recommend.

I bought my car at the Rancho location but service it here. Its closer to my house is the only reason! Maria Colon is amazing and her bosses need to give her a raise! Her customer service is amazing and communication is on point. Everytime I bring my car in for anything she has been there, friendly and ready to help. I can say nothing but good about this location because of her. The whole team is great and friendly but Maria stands out to me the most. I purchased a car requiring a shipping fee. The vehicle arrived on time, I spoke to a salesperson Tatiana who specifically mentioned the vehicle would be detailed, inspected and ready for delivery upon set time for the purchase.On the day of the purchase the vehicle wasn’t ready. Our sale was on the 31st of August. The vehicle had a oil pressure light the following day. We returned the vehicle for repair.Our repair went worse than the purchase. The service department didn’t contact to inform what the issue was or when an expected repair would take place until 7 days later. Our car didn’t get returned until 10 days later.The service manager and a few of the employees just kept flinging the “30 day money back guarantee, just return it and get another car” I requested a survey multiple times and was not provided one. Not one regarding the service department or purchase experience. I was contacted on the 10th of September, because Carmax personnel hadn’t ensure the check was signed by myself and the co-owner. Something I specifically asked about before and during the purchase.This is my second vehicle with carmax. My first experience was a lot better than this one. I wouldn’t recommend this location.

A pleasant experience talking to a representative. Very knowledgeable, answered all my questions. Stopped by a few days later and purchased the car which took no time. Everything was explained step by step, all questions answered. It took a 2 weeks for CarMax to process my paper and send it to DMV. At the end we ended with a sales rep name Doug who from start to finish was amazing, he reminded us of the old days how they wanted to help you find the right fit for you. I bought a 2017 Nissan Rogue from them. Not even having the car the full 30 days. The battery completely dies out after they told me and gave me all this paperwork stating everything has been checked and passed inspection. I have the max care plus and still had to pay for car battery out of pocket. I refuse to buy a car from them again.

Overall my experience was great! We showed up to buy a first car for my daughter! The staff was helpful and friendly. Once we found the car she wanted it took longer to get the car in the system, because it wasn’t yet, then it did to actually get approved and do the paperwork. That part to all of 20 minutes, which was amazing. Our salesperson, and I can’t remember her name, was excellent! I give it 4 out of 5 stars only because there were supposed to schedule an appointment to fix the one part of the leather that was messed up and I still haven’t heard from them, but other than that, great! We will be going back for my other daughter’s car next!

This review is more a reflection of CarMax as a larger entity, I guess.When I came across the ad for my new car, I loved everything about it but was especially excited to see the AC Seats feature. Well, I had the car shipped from afar and delivered to my local CM facility. It arrived and I test-drove it, thought everything checked out and loved it so much, but then took it to the Jag dealership and they said it did not have the AC seats feature, and thats why you should only buy from dealerships. I dont know how much extra value the AC seats give the car, but I feel like there should be a bit more fact checking before posting a car ad. I definitely should have asked more questions and ensured all stated features were in fact there, so this is not entirely CarMaxs fault. I will just live with sweaty bum & thighs in Vegas LOL

Extremely disappointing customer service. My wife wanted to purchase one of the higher end cars on the lot. Everything was fine except one of the tires had a cut in the sidewall, which CarMax promised to replace. As she was paying for it, they reneged their promise and said they were not replacing it for her. Obviously we are not paying top dollar to buy a car just to have to replace the tires after they promised to replace them. Go here and get scammed.

I applied online, went into the store and drove off 3 hours later with my car. It was our mistake for not reserving a time beforehand, but my husband and I were able to look through the lot before the time slot they gave us. We found the car that we were interested in the most, and by the time we met with our guy, apparently, the car was already on hold for somebody else! Being it was our first time at Carmax, we didnt know to try to put it on hold for ourselves. Luckily our guy (apologies for not remembering his name at the moment) found out that the person who had it on hold didnt even have insurance so they were able to get the hold off for us! We were able to test drive it and the rest of the process was really easy and direct. I was also happy they had a new payment option of debiting our checking account without having to wire transfer. We were able to pay off the car in full with no hassle! Everything was pretty smooth, they washed the car, and we took pictures with the yellow ribbon on the car. Very happy with our experience and the car we bought!

My closest store back in JUNE 11th... it took til JUNE 22ND to even ship the car out... the car arrived a week after and I was left unknowing when I would even be able to see the car at all.. til about JULY 12th.. by that time my loan company had to extend my loan and my insurance came out.. which, I was trying to avoid. Throught this whole process, I had NO contact from them unless I called them first to only get a half response ... why did it take that long to see the car? The title never showed up... why wasnt this sent before shipping the car if they knew I PAID to have it shipped... and the amount of people I spoke with.. and only about 2 people have been the most helpful. By far the worst experience for me.. when I got my car finally.. everything check out great other than the gashes in the right passenger tire thats apparently up to carmaxs standards ... concerning.. really.. cant forget the tail light was out.. how did you not notice this when you were cleaning the car? Or moving it around? Thats basic maintenance... so much for the well inspected car... a month into having this car my battery kept dying..which, I had to replace myself since they didnt have an appointment any sooner than Wednesday..I did get a refund on this as well.. but wouldnt this be urgent? And the amount of times I was thrown around just for the refund was crazy.... it shouldnt take that many approvals and people to issue a refund thats within the warranty. I also did my registration when I got my car.. why did anyone there fail to tell me they dont mail the plates to my house.. instead, thankfully, when I got my refund for the battery, I was able to get my plates 3 days before the temporary tag expires...My sales agent, Kevin, who helped me with the purchase was very sweet.. he made it easy for me to purchase my car. The lady from business was very helpful as well.. if it wasnt for her I wouldnt have been able to get my car.. she was the only one who gave me updates and wasnt so quick to hop off the phone..I would have given this more stars, but this whole thing stressed me OUT!!!!! If I wanted to be this stressed buying a car I wouldve just stayed with honda west and how bad they were at communication.

I cannot find my previous review from April so heres a new one. I previously brought my car in April complaining of hissing from air conditioning I was told it wasnt making any noises when the mechanic checked it. Keep in mind Ive only had the car since the last week of March. Now here it is first week of June I bring it in they say hose needs replacement in the air conditioner. Service brakes light came on need brakes worked on. I drop it off at opening Thursday. They keep it all day Thursday and Friday. Now I need a loaner because my car is sitting across the street waiting for alignment all weekend! Wow. Now Im just waiting and waiting. This is the most stressful car buying experience of my life! Its just like a corporate car buying experience. If you dont buy someone else will do they have absolutely no empathy or compassion for a hardworking single mom who needs a car to get around to care for their children. Shame on you carmax. Calling corporate does absolutely nothing they just pass the complaint back to the local carmax anyway. You are just a number and if you dont like it too bad.

Made an appointment and someone was able to help me immediately. I had to wait about 10 min for an appraiser to come but once they arrived it was quick and smooth. They submitted the information and I had an offer in less than 10 minutes that was reasonable and fair. I would recommend CarMax to anyone needing to sell a car.

The Car Max brand portrays everything as simple and easy transaction wise. However the reality is just the opposite. The Las Vegas office has the most unprofessional business office leader in Pat. The entire leadership team is unresponsive, delegates work back to the customer and does not follow up on customer needs including emails. You cannot reach anyone by phone. I gave Car Max a chance and will take my business elsewhere.

I bought a 2016 Scion TC from Joseph ( head sales person ) from this carmax, at the time of purchase the car had cosmetic work that needed to be done. I was told by head sales person to bring it back and theyd take care of the exterior damage, just to schedule an appointment with the service station, have my car retained in their possession for 3-4 days to be told nothing could be done in that regard and to go pick up my car to find white paint stains on my vehicle (even tho my car has no white on it what so ever). They offered to pass it thru a wash to remove the paint, 90% of it came off but some still remained on my hood, 3 hours later I open my trunk to find they had stained the inside of it as well. There was no reason for them going inside my car as the service order was specifically for exterior damage, I return to the dealership for an explanation of this issue to speak with the manager (Michael White)and have him tell me the best they can is fill my car with gas and whipe down where the stains are. My trunk and hood are still stained, I plan to call corporate about this issue, the service job for which I took my car in was not done right, and to make matters worse I got my car back more damaged then when I took it in.Upon furthur review of my vehicle, they ended up damaging one of my rims as well.

Financing was a hassle. I was initially told I didnt qualify for a CarMax loan. I applied at two banks but was turned down as the vehicle was considered overpriced. CarMax finally gave me a loan but at a somewhat inflated interest rate. Overall I think the price was a bit high, but as the van is well equipped and the mileage was on the low side, the price wasnt that excessive.It also took a while to get my vehicle. It had to be shipped from California to Nevada and that took over a week.There were several things that needed repairing. CarMax did the repairs, but it took longer than expected. I had the additional expense of having to continue renting a car so I could get to my out of town job. The two main repairs were not done satisfactorily. The front end is still out of alignment and the mid-row seat wont move into position to let people enter & exit the rear seats easily. The front end was improved but it still pulls significantly to the right.The seat did work correctly twice, but now it wont move at all. Although these things should be covered under warranty, it will be difficult for me to get the vehicle repaired as my work schedule is Monday-Friday. I may be faced with the expense of renting a car while the repairs are being done. Other minor things that need attention is the transition pan is leaking a bit, and the rear bushings are a bit noisy. The cabin air filter also needs replacing. On the bright side, the vehicle is just what I want and need, and it has most of the options. It runs well which is the main thing. Once these repairs are taken care of, I should be driving this van for a good number of years without any real problems.On the good side, on the day of purchase the sales rep, Philip, did a fine job. The loan processing and paperwork were done in a timely manner, and the vehicle was clean and filled with gas when it was given to me. Phillip even took a photo of me with my new van as a keepsake. Overall, Im happy with my purchase.

I purchase two vehicles in one week from two different locations. First experience was horrible. Sales person was lazy and stayed on her phone the whole time. At 6755 W Sahara location. Las Vegas7 days later went to 1000 warm spring, Las Vegas location and was a much better experience. Max was great and very helpful. Did not question me with anything I wanted to drive and was very helpful the entire night.

Absolutely shady! I put 9k down on a car. 2 weeks later it starts making a hissing noise. They cant get anyone to even look at it for a week in a half. I had to take time off work to pick up this car. They make it seem like they do all this testing and diagnostic to make sure you dont get a lemon. They give you 30 days to see if you love it but if any issues arise they cant get you in until 3 days before 30 days is up. 3 days before car had to be Registered. Or you can sell it back... For less money or just keep driving possibly voiding extended warranty. Nop8body checks fluids or hoses? Nobody makes sure everything is functioning on a 2009? Its an older car and no one checked all fluids before selling for 13k? Shady!!!! Corporate office is absolutely no help I called them too! Save your time 2009 16k at the end of it all and Im not even sure if its safe to drive. They just want your money! You are a number and that is all

I found a vehicle online and immediately did a pre-qualification application. I was 100% going to buy this car.I went to go pick it up and the car had serious cosmetic flaws inside and out that were not disclosed in the description. The car also had a very obvious loud engine noise and a very obvious power steering leak. After bringing this to the attention to the manager he told me that the damage must have happened in the lot/in transport. It was literally lazily filled in w the wrong color touch up paint so someone is lying. I was told CarMax does a thorough inspection on every vehicle.When I asked how did such mechanical issues pass through a rigorous inspection, I was told the problem must have happened after it was inspected. The power steering leak has been there for a long time. They wanted top premium price for this car well above KBB price. Now I have a inquiry on my credit for no reason. The manager refused to come down in the price or compensate a similar vehicle to the same price. Thanks a lot for nothing. Totally a waist of time and now my credit took a hit due to a scam listing.
