Asked for an estimate and was very pleased with the customer service in terms of scheduling someone to come out and bid our tub repair. However, when I received the estimates, I was told they would only provide a 1 year warranty because this was a rental (as opposed to a 5 year warranty in an owner occupied home). This was, I was informed, industry standard. The conversation continued about getting pictures of some of the products they use on countertops and the spec/care sheets for the product because then, I said, I could potentially build some of the care instructions into the lease. I even had a day scheduled to have them come do the work. While I did say I was disappointed and thought it seemed a bit unfair to provide different warranties, I also said Id never heard of that type of distinction and was just asking questions both to understand the repair work and the business model. Instead of getting colors and a spec sheet, I got a withdrawal of their estimate to do the work at our condo. While this business can refuse to do work for someone, it certainly took me aback as I thought I had the way forward with looking at the care instructions for lease terms. Im posting this as a warning that this is a very sensitive and touchy business that is clearly not interested in working through issues with a customer. After reading a couple of the other reviews, seems like I dodged a bullet if they are difficult to get out to do repairs to their work in the first place. So, get a bid, but dont question any component of it...

Tubbys Tub and Tile painted the sink and bathtub in our guest bathroom. The first coat seemed to have finished improperly so they came back and fixed the final finish. It all turned out amazing and our bathroom looks and feels new! This service has helped us save money while remodeling our home. We had our tub reglazed thinking it would save us money, but it was a bad decision. The paint started chipping a few weeks later so we called them to come fix it. They did, but that didnt last very long so we called them again. We had to call them one more time and then just gave up. My husband ended up buying a can of spray paint meant for tub and tile and that actually worked out better and lasted. Dont waste your money.

Tubbies refinished an antique cast iron sink in the new mud room. We’ve owned several of these sinks and the final result was so outstanding and beautiful we were shocked. The entire staff is outstanding. Highly recommended.

I have had tubs refinished in the past. However, the person I used years ago was no longer available. I contacted several tub refinishers and just was not comfortable with them. When I found Tubbys Tubs, I talked to Michelle and immediately appreciated their method of doing business. They are extremely professional, organized and also very prompt. They quoted me a very reasonable price and I had them refinish my garden tub. John did the work and my husband and I were more than extremely happy with his attitude and work product. While I appreciate the work done on my bath tub I certainly dont appreciate the mess that was left. My bedroom looks like a dust bomb exploded when the work was done in my bathroom.
