Andrea office manager has been absolutely great to work with. She listened to our concerns and problems when it came to our 2007Ford Powerstroke 6.0. The mechanic Matt was very helpful when explaining the work that had to be done and the knowledge that he has working on these diesel vehicles made us comfortable to have them do the work. They did what they could to help us with the cost. I would recommend this shop 100%!

Very reasonable pricing. I just relocated out of the state to Vegas so I’m very happy with there service to get my car up and back running. Thank you Monaghans for you prompt service and diagnostics when I was in need. I was traveling from Zion National park to Las Vegas. My diesel truck towing a trailer over heated and the check engine light came on. I pulled over to let it cool down, when I went to start it back up, it would not start. I have a diag. checker, and it said I had a problem with the Turbo. we called Monaghans and Mikesaid bring it in and they would get me back on the road. After getting it there they diagnosed it as a fuel problem. in 3 hours the had me in and out, with my truck running better than before. Thank you Mike And Josh for all your help in this ordeal. Matt literally saved my life. I was on a tight schedule on the way to start a new job and my car wasn’t starting properly. Matt discovered I had a problem with my fuel pump and that my driving shaft was very loose/almost off. If he hadn’t found that made time to help I could be dead out in the desert right now. My car is still in the shop since the beginning of last month and I still have not got a diagnosis. But if they figure it out and fix it I will come back. If not I will not recommend them to anybody

Sunday - Funday - not so much for us.Weekend roadtrip to Vegas turned into needing to get our car fixed so we could get home and back to work on Monday. Thank goodness we found Monaghan’s. It ended up being a fairly easy diagnosis and fix and the guys were amazing to work with. Thank you Monaghan’s for your amazing service and for being available when I needed you. GO HERE IF IN VEGAS! The owner was super nice and I was quoted far less than the internet experts said it would be. They are fair, cheap, great service, have Netflix, and give great suggestions for food and entertainment while waiting. Best auto repair service I’ve had and I’m from out of state.

If I could award more than 5 stars, I would. Scott and his crew took such good care of our vehicle and of us! Our Ford E450 6.0L diesel school bus conversion RV was idling rough and shaking, and Scott squeezed us in for a same-day diagnostic, revealing that we needed new fuel injectors. He patiently explained what he needed to do and even showed us on an engine in the shop and answered all of our questions. The entire crew was friendly, hardworking, knowledgeable, ethical, and went FAR above and beyond to get us back in our bus and on the road as soon as possible. Had my car for 5 days, charged me $300, didnt fix anything. 😡

I took my father-in-law‘s vehicle there after he passed a year ago. He was not one to maintain vehicles and the vehicle had sat for a year. I asked Mike the owner to completely go through the vehicle to ensure its reliability for regular commuting to LA because the vehicle only has 94,000 miles. He replace the power steering pump, flushed and filled all coolant. Replace the water pump and the timing belt and gave the vehicle a complete check over. He was very detailed in the scope of work In all communication. Everyone that helped me their weather on the phone or at the front desk was courteous and professional. They gave a very different feel from the “usual “auto shop vibe. We will definitely take our other vehicles back for service.

I came to this place twice in my life I will definitely come back if I have any problems with my car I had to replace my breaks it was a Camaro 2019 SS V8 they are reasonable and affordable not like the other places charge me like 800 or more to replace it this one here did it for 200 or so they did a perfect job! I would recommend coming here the wait may be long but its worth it trust they keep u updated on your car they are positive and chill people great energy!

OMG! Talk about service!We were driving from San Diego to north Idaho. We broke down about 90 miles away from Las Vegas.They arranged a tow and even worked on Sunday. The mechanic was in constant contact with me. Our AC compressor broke off the pulley and threw the belt. The quote for the replacements and labor was only $1350!Considering our 6.0 power stroke is in a 2005 E-series van I was so happy.I even had them change the oil and keep me posted if they found anything else.I just had to tell everyone how great these guys were and I will follow up once the work is finished.

He was in business under another name and admitted to me that all my bills were inflated but do to his partner and I cant believe you dont know what is going on in your office. I had to put a new engine in my dodge and it cost me over $7000 and I was left with no warranty and Im sure the cost wS inflated. Thanks to Scott

I’ve been to many auto mechanic shops in the valley and this is the only shop where I’ve come back too. They do quality, honest work and do not sell you on stuff you do not need to make an extra dollar. I will be taking my vehicles to them from now on! Every employee there is awesome, especially Almiera as she is very thorough with whatever you are trying to get done on your vehicle. Overall a 12/10 experience.

My truck was having intermittent AC outages. Ive taken it to several different shops that were unable to come to a diagnosis on the problem, but all of them said they fixed something and charged me. Ive now had mu truck back for well over a month with NO issues. I cannot stress enough how grateful I am for the mechanics at this shop and what they did for me. Being without an AC in the summer in Vegas is no fun. I just wish I could give them 10 stars! I will be back, although I hope not anytime soon. :)

This shop has excellent customer service and they are very honest and reasonably priced. I am from California and they took care of me well and did not try to lie or cheat me out of more money, also they were very time efficient.

I went to Scott for years and sent several friends and family his way as well. Idk what happened to him but he is not the honest mechanic I met 5 years ago. I sent my sister his way and she left with an estimate for 2k in repairs and all she came in for was a squeaky bearing and an ac check. Turns out, none of the things they listed for the bearing were necessary repairs. She had a garage mechanic change her brake pads and all the noises went away. Pretty sure they sabotaged her power steering as well. It never had issues or leaks until 2 days after she went there she found a noticeable puddle in her driveway and her steering felt stiff. They had recommended a leak repair on that. In addition, they supposedly charged the ac so they could test it. That also turned out to be false as her ac never started blowing cold. I’m very disappointed with Scott and his establishment. Myself and my friends and family will not be going back in there again.

These guys did a fantastic job on my 01 Ford explorer sport trac. My ac went out and I had an issue with my truck not going into park. With the assumption that it was going to be super expensive to fix, I was shocked with their honesty when they told me that the issues could be just something really simple. And sure enough when it was all said and done, nothing major needed fixed and I ended up paying way less than I expected. These guys couldve easily said I needed a new ac compressor but all I needed was freon put in and a new connector. Needless to say. Ill definitely be coming back here if I ever have any future problems and Ill always recommend them to anyone!

I have a 06 dodge ram 2500 that was in an accident in late 2019 which threw out my steering and few other things but these guys were amazing, i was in and out of their shop for 3 weeks fixing everything i could on this truck for a road trip, all i have to say is they are the go to shop for me in vegas, everything that is found is brought to your attention with pics and a nice drawn up quote with exact prices and everything, very professionally handled and very nice all around staff, my last project was due to an old ac compressor and i had been there since they had opened 9am, at 230 pm the part had arrived and was installed but the new compressor was a dud right out of the box and locked up, these guys bought me a lift home and delivered my vehicle to me the next day...thats customer service at its finest!👌 THANKS GUYS!

These guys know what theyre doing and are honest and reasonably priced. Im a solo female with a dodge diesel 1 ton. They did a LOF and I requested an inspection so Id know maintenance work that needed to be done. They gave me a list, with estimates...lots of work to get done, but nothing I didnt expect. I totally trust them, will go back to them for maintenance work....I highly recommend them.

Scott, monaghans auto’s owner was a reference from a friend, she said he was a really good and reliable mechanic and person. My family and I drove from Utah to north Vegas and our A/C stoped working and we had charged it a couple of times without any success. When we took our car to him he explained the possibilities to us and ran a couple of tests just to find out that it just needed charged in the right way and he did an amazing job, I totally recommend him!

We were just passing through Las Vegas partway through a roadtrip from Canada, and my car started acting up just outside of town.Scott got us in on short notice, and found and fixed the problem super fast. The car was repaired and we were on our way quicker than I ever would have hoped! He showed us exactly what and where the problem was, and I felt like I was given honest and reliable advice.*EASILY* a five star review. I had visions of being stranded in town for days and being taken advantage of since We were just passing through, but we were in and out before we knew it. Just purchased used car and made it 10 miles down road before power steering went out. Took into this shop with no appointment or notification and within 15 minutes diagnosed problem and ordered replacement part. Fast fix without having to make follow on appointment and good price. I am from out of state and just visiting to purchase this vehicle that could of left me stranded. Great guys and hopefully repairs last for return trip. Will follow up once I make it to destination.So, I made it to destination and had no issues with the car. The repairs held together through the harsh heat and long distance. I will definitely recommend anybody needing auto repairs in the Vegas area, take your vehicle here and get it done right. This shop is quite honestly the best auto repair shop Ive ever been to. They BELEIVE in honesty, education and integrity. I took my car in for a pre-trip inspection and to have them check out my brakes, which I knew were failing. When I got there, a woman was profusely thanking them for the work they did within her budget. They fixed my brakes for a reasonable price, found nothing else worth paying attention to for my 2000 mile trip, and told me a bunch of stuff about my car that I didnt know that will help me take care of it in the future, no matter where I take it to. The owner drove me home, and I wholeheartedly believe his business thrives because hes an honest, caring business owner.

I recently moved here from out of state and called about 15 mechanics before choosing to come to Monaghans. Even during my first phone call Scott was super helpful and friendly, above and beyond all the other shops I called. During my visit he went above and beyond to diagnose and resolve my issue. He also kindly pointed out things I should keep an eye out for in regards to my specific year motor /vehicle. His knowledge of diesel motors is very impressive and his honesty is well beyond that of most mechanics Ive encountered. This will be the only shop to work on my truck while I live in Vegas. I highly recommend this shop.

I was recently in Vegas for the SEMA Show and experienced a power steering failure on my pickup. Great! I needed to be at the show and then leave for home and was instead stuck with a dead truck! I checked with a few friends - one of who recommended Scott and Monaghans (thanks @robby887) I reached Scott and explained my situation - AAA brought the truck to the shop and I was off to the show. Scott and his team were able to get the truck done that day and he even stayed late while I battled Convention Center traffic to get to the shop. I made it home safely to Phoenix that night thanks to his excellent work. Highly recommended!

Absolute terrible customer service here. I would not recommend Monaghans to anyone. I called and had an appointment to have my car looked for my AC and engine (if they had time) early Tuesday. I dropped it off Tuesday morning and called at the end of the day and they said they havent looked at it yet but were just about to. I called Wednesday morning and they said the same thing. I continued to call everyday morning and night and was given the same story. Fast forward to Friday and still my car was not looked at. Scott told me he was on his way to the shop and would call me back soon after looking at it. I waited 4hrs without a phone call back...ended up getting a $20 lyft to the shop and no one is there...I call and am told that they wouldnt be there today and wouldnt be back to look at my car until Monday. Im not sure who I was talking to but I let him know I NEEDED my keys...he hangs up on me, and ignores all my calls after. I ended up having to hire a locksmith to get a new key....After 5 days of not having my car, being constantly lied to, and paying $200 for a new key I get no apology. And on top of all this...they dont lock your cars when they are gone or when they are not using them. I have never been treated like this and am amazed at the complete disrespect they have towards their customers.

Hi guys! I wanted to thank you for helping me with my diesel Jeep. GAWD I hate Jeeps! Anyhow, you helped me with the transmission fluid leaking. You guys were able to secure my vehicle at night in a time I didnt think I was dropping it off at a shop. I had valuables in there and nothing was messed with.I came back the next week b/c I had found water in my floor board. I went back through the paperwork on my Jeep and forgot I had my windshield changed out a few months ago. I went home that night and called on the windshield people to replace the windshield immediately. Great Diesel mechanic, and excellent customer service! My 2008, F350 diesel stopped running while driving - luckily, Monaghans Auto happened to be the closest shop to me at the time. Monaghans dispatched a tow truck to pick up my vehicle, and start to the diagnosis. The team at Monaghans quickly diagnosed the issue (contaminated fuel), and were ultimately able to repair my truck and get me back on the road.After repairs to my truck in the past completed at the dealership, I will now only take my Ford Diesel truck to Monaghans Auto - they know what they are doing, and will do it right. This place is going to be hit or miss depending on the owners mood I suppose.They had some great reviews which is why we decided to give them a try but in the end our experience was absolutely horrible.Was told to bring our vehicle in on a Tuesday and on Saturday it still wasnt looked at.In all fairness, this was Thanksgiving weekend so we didnt expect the shop to be open Thursday (or even Friday) but every day (including Friday) we were told the get to it that day. It got to the point where calls were being ignored.Even though the owner said theyd be open the Saturday after Thanksgiving they were not.Unfortunately they had the only copy of out key and we ended up having to get the car re keyed to get it back from them since he decided he wasnt opening back up till Monday, almost a week after us dropping the car off.A little honesty and communication would have gone a long way here.

So after a year of getting quotes to do exhaust manifolds on a 2005 Nissan Armada I finally found someone willing to do it and quoted me the hours from the book. Scott is honest and spent time with me before I gave him the job. He got it done in the time he told me. If you want an honest mechanic that gets the work done on time at the price that is fair Scott is your guy. I will be going back to him as needed on my vehicles!

CUSTOMER BEWARE!!! He doesnt honor his warranties. He blames the engine failure on customer neglect. How can the hoses pop off while you are driving down the road be the customers fault. Four mechanics have told us that it is impossible. He can lie to himself, he lie to us, but he cant lie to God. He doesnt have his cars in a secure area. Our truck was broken into twice while we waited for the repairs to be completed. If we could give him a zero or less rating, we would.

Best mechanic Las Vegas. I called at 7pm and being a holiday weekend the owner Scott answered the phone when no one else would.He came by a friends house and looked at my van and advised to bring it on the shop tomorrow and now Im pulling out of his shop headed back to Phoenix. Scott Monaghan is awesome! Our 1998 Plymouth (yes, a 20 year old vehicle) needed a rebuilt transmission a couple years ago and although working on our van was hell, he did it and did it right. Recently, our van had some main computer issues and Scott worked with us to get the problem fixed. His rates are more than reasonable, and we recommend him highly. Thankfully we have another vehicle that is much newer, and if it ever needs work we will take it to Scott. He is a master at what he does.

Needed a duramax diesel repair for a few months. I checked out the shop to speak with Scott about the issue. Liked the google reviews, shop, staff, estimate, and probable repair issue. So drove across town and turned in the vehicle for repair; some minor issues came forward but were remedied by Scott. Vehicle runs great now past 1k miles. Would recommend shop to anyone looking for an honest mechanic with timeliness and good work.

It is hard to find an honest mechanic in Vegas. Mr. Monaghan is the the mechanic that tells you what is wrong with the car then he tells you why it is wrong explaining the mechanics of the parts then gives you a realistic expectation. Im so happy I found someone that will just take care of it.

Scott is a great and knowledgeable mechanic and diesel mechanic. My Dads Duramax diesel pulling a fully loaded trailer, stopped running just over the Baker grade. Found good recommendations for Monaghans on line. Scott was waiting for us. As luck would have it, he drives the same Duramax and knows it inside and out. Diagnosed the problem right away. Gas tank had to be dropped and cleaned. promised to had it done by 1 pm the following day. We were on the road at 1245 pm Any later would have caused us to miss our deadline in Page Arizona and would have ruined our vacation. He saved the day! They even stored my loaded trailer over night as opposed to leaving it in the adjacent parking lot to be ran-sacked. And, when I came to pick it up, they had hooked the truck and trailer up, saving more time. Scott knows his business. Just look at all the Technician Certificates on the office wall. Thanks again Scott and company.
