Flying Las Vegas to Oakland yesterday evening with Allegiant was quite a bad experience. I found the main air hostess to be very rude and confrontational.When I got onto the plane and found my seat I started looking for locker space for my carry-on bag. However all the open lockers I could see were full so I started opening and closing some shut lockers but they were also full. I had just opened one when the middle-age blonde air hostess at the front yelled at me Theyre all full!OK... I replied.Theyre all full! she yelled again, giving me no more information or any helpful advice. Meanwhile theres people standing waiting for me so Im feeling a bit under pressure. I approach the air hostess.Ok, what should I do with this? I ask, holding up my carry-on bag.Find somewhere for it. All the closed lockers are full. I checked them myself She says.This seemed quite rude and direct. I also realised the annoyed tone she was using was because she felt I was doubting her amazing checking ability by opening the closed lockers, however theres no way I couldve known this system, especially since all the open lockers were full too! I turned to walk up the plane and without me realising she comes up behind me and SLAMS shut the locker I had just opened, right next to my ear. The slam was quite shocking and it hurt my ear (it even stayed hurting the entire night), she definitely seemed annoyed I had opened the locker... I turned to say something but she was already on her way back to the front.I walked up the plane and actually saw a space in one of the closed lockers. I only saw this by looking through the side of a full open locker (wow what a great system she had). I opened the closed locker to put my bag in. There was at least one nice air hostess on board as a different lady approached and kindly asked Will that fit in there?Yep I repliedOh well done she said, after Id put the bag in.The people who boarded after me were also searching for locker space but there wasnt any in any of the open lockers (they probably didnt dare open a closed locker), so the air hostess at the front told them she would check-in their bags. Im not sure why I didnt get this offer. It also means that this front air-hostess had not only deafened me, but had ordered me on a wild goose chase since there was no space in the open lockers.I definitely wont be recommending Allegiant from this experience. Not until this air hostess learns to speak politely to people, actually give them helpful information and not slam lockers right next to their head just because shes annoyed.Another issue Id add is nowhere in the confirmation email does it say you have to print your own boarding pass or get the app or risk paying $5 for them to print it for you at the airport. This should be fixed as people should be informed. Allegiant you are wasting your own time when every person at the check in desk has to wait for the customer to download the app.

Always have had a good flight with allegiant air. I fly with them often

Cheap flight and good service. Just keep in mind that you pay for what you get dont expect a luxurious flight by any means but you will get there safely and in a timely fashion and that is what truly matters.

I havent flown in over 20 years. Great flight and reasonable rates with Allegiance. Driving takes about 9 hours it took about 1 hour flying. Way to go

The fly was kind of enjoyable because allegiant is the stadium name on the raiders new stadium in Vegas so they make fun of 49er fans and cheer on raiders fans.

It was a good flight we left early got there early everybody was friendly playing was clean very nice experience

Boarded the place on time and then once the plane was ready to go we were told that we needed to take all our belongings and de-board the plane because they needed to do a pressure check.We were not told how long it would take and it took over an hour before we could get back on the plane.

Great prices, but never on time no matter where you are going.

Love the ease of their app and boarding passes. The stewardesses are all very polite. The boarding agents are less so. Definitely give them a try next time you fly.

Flying on Allegiant is great. Prices are cheap enough that zipping off to Monterey or Santa Cruz for the weekend is feasible just about anytime.

My plane was delayed going and coming back.

The plane ride was terrible. One minute we were being Roasted out of the aeroplane and the next minute we were freezing.

Just as good as Southwest Airlines. Except the baggage policy.

Light flight not many passengers which I prefer. Able to social distance with seating.

Seats are too close. The distance between my hips and knees is the same as the distance between the back of the seat ahead of me and my seat so the flight is uncomfortable and by the end pretty painfull. The bathrooms are not very handicapped accessable.

Fast and nice people but my rear end hurts after 3 hours of sitting badddd!

Quick load on plane.

Im scared to death to fly and they made it a wonderful experience. The stewardess was wonderful! The flight was comfortable and I felt like I was in good hands with their pilots.

On time and got me there safely.

Departure and arrival were on time. The flight would have been fine except it felt like we were flying inside a refrigerator. The air temperature throughout the flight was unreasonably cold. I might have felt comfortable in a heavy sweatshirt with another long sleeve thermal layer underneath. You shouldnt have to dress like its winter when you fly in June.

Nice efficient deep discount airlines. Love that it is a non stop flight. Used wheelchair service and the attendants were wonderful

Only reason I give this airlines 3 stars is their counter agents. Flight crew is always awesome makes up for the ticket agents.

Yery satisfied with service and cost

Allegiant good. Security has no idea why we pay $150 for global entry. Still wants you to remove shoes and jacket. Even after shown rules from their website they ignore all info.

I only fly for emergencies. I was mortified to see how crowded my flight was. It was worse when the attendants didnt enforce the mask rule. The lady that was caddy corner from me was drugged out. Her mask was either on her chin, hanging from her ear or on the floor. I thought after the attendants made a pass or two down the isle, someone would say something but they never did. My entire flight felt digusting, anxiety filled and claustrophobic. It was miserable.

Luckily the flight wasnt crowded. Flying on this airline is like Flying on a crop duster. Noisy, uncomfortable seats. Thank goodness I didnt check a bag . As they nickle and dime you to death I was grateful i didnt have to pay to breath.

Good pricing for that vacation youve been longing for

Great prices if your smart they do charge for each item, airfare great but once you add carryon, check in bag etc adds up quickly

On the way to Vegas we were delayed by an hour due to not knowing how to count

People at the desk lied about TSA pre being closed and it wasnt. They charge for snacks, no free water. No sanitizer wipe given during covid-19 pandemic, no temperature checks, no plane cleaning, plane small, no screen, no charging port, my head hit the ceiling, $5 to print boarding pass, cant check-in at airport. Everything is awful. App is bad. Phone hold music (wait for 2 hrs) said no cancellation charge but they charged me and still didnt give a refund only credit.

No social distancing at all. There are empty rows of seats but they pack everyone to the same row. Great job trying to prevent COVID.

Horrible-delayed in first flight sat in hot plane for over an hour rude flight attendants. Had to wait 2 hours for bags when we landed. Delayed return trip due to mechanical issues changed plane 3 times. Sat in hot plane with no air-would not give us our bags to book another flight. Bathroom sink not working. Customer Service was awful! Will. Ever fly with them again!

Had a good flight. Seems similar to southwest with the ability to pay more to get an assigned seat. I will fly this airline again and would pick over southwest if they continue to offer competitive pricing.

No thank you. Very uncomfortable seats with even less leg room than normal (and Im only 52) plus you have to pay for any bags you bring on and they dont even provide a drink! Youre better off just paying to fly a good airline like Southwest.

Poor customer service at the gate. Got delayed 4x due to Mechanical issues. They didnt really want to deal with trying to assist with comping passengers or reimbursement for delays. We all were lucky we even got a soft drink and some crummy pretzels. 4 passengers went and called Dominos for pizza for all the passengers. We all thanked them. Alegiant doesnt think like they did. Sorry you guys really suck! I will not recommend you at all.

Great airline! I always fly with them & I have never had a problem. The prices cant be beat! They are always there to accommodate my needs as a disabled traveler. Yesterdays crew was a hoot! Very entertaining! I like that they have different choices for snacks & drinks, even though you have to pay for it.

(Also loved that seats did not recline; no head in my face.) No frills, yet great quality all around. Comfortable, affordable, and on time.

The gentleman that helped me, went over and beyond to help me with all my needs. From pushing me in a wheelchair, and helping me with my personal belongings. This was 5 months ago and his name was Jason Smith. I was in Vegas for a family emergency and his Hospitality made it a lot less stressful for me ❤

In Las Vegas, its a long, long, walk from baggage check-in, to security, and to the boarding gate. Trams would be a great idea for the elderly, infirm or families with small kids. This was my first flight ever with Allegiant and I feel the price was right compared to other airlines. I only flew from California to Las Vegas, a nice short flight. The Pilot and flight attendants were courteous and not bad to look at either. Overall, a good experience and I will book Allegiant for future travel.

For the non-military folks I would honestly rate Allegiant at 3.5 stars. Its price point cant be beat but they tack on luggage fees, priority boarding and seat selection fees that nickle and dime an initial cheap ticket price up to something more substantial. Most of these fees are waived for active and retired military and reserves which makes ticket prices VERY competitive. As military you also get #2 boarding priority which is great for families traveling together. If you pay careful attention to fare rates and arent super picky about your travel dates Allegiant can be a good bargain for a military travel family or person. Highly recommend for travel from Vegas to Austin and back.

Its the waffle house of airlines. You know what your getting.

They have improved a lot over the past few years. Much more reliable. My only complaint was we were sold outdated transfers to our hotel and had to spend an hour to get it fixed. No one seemed to understand how to fix it. A flight attendant that I ran into on a elevator was the most helpful. She gave us the right ones. Flight crews were good and an enjoyable flights.

Direct flights to airports that may not have many airlines servicing the area.No frills service type of airline, but the six flights Ive taken have had great customer service.If youre Military luggage is checked at no charge.

The airline is great, its discount but its discount with courteous Airline staff. Stay away from the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel as it is operating with a lot of aspects under construction or review. We did not have the opportunity to use all the pools. It appears as though only the Nirvana pool is functioning. Perhaps this is related to the purchase of the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas by Richard Branson.

Late for 3 hrs again

Not a fan. We were charged $100 for bags that we werent charged for on the first leg of our trip. I understand we were in a zone that didnt allow for extra weight but the cabins above our seats were full so we had to put them above people several rows behind us anyway. When my boyfriend calmly explained what happened they immediately threatened him with not letting us on the plane. The staff in South Bend, IN were particularly rude not just to us but to other customers as well. Coming from someone who works in the service industry, they could have made more of an effort to be kind (after all that is what theyre being paid to do).

Great flight both ways. Pilot was so smooth you didnt even know we had touched down.

Probably the worst social distancing in any flight. Even though we paid for front row, they packed 3 in on DEF and left ABC open. As we listened, the attendants felt it wasnt fair to separate us because it wasnt fair to the other passengers. Flight 96 to Springfield 2/8/2021.

We loved this airline! First time and we are impressed. Our son is obsessed with airplanes and the captain even let him seat in the front we him. What an awesome experience for out little one.

Always late taking off, boarding, arrival. Inconsistent luggage considerations, when it came to size allowance. Staff seem a bit rough around the edges. Not sure how they kept this budget airline going after the crashes and CNN did a special on how they fly old airplanes and hide malfunctions.Strongly recommend you avoid this airline.

Allegiant air is the worst airliner. I arrived over 30 minutes before the flight was supposed to take off. There were 0 employees at the check in counter. No one I could talk to to try and change flights or anything. Does it matter that I bough the flight insurance?? No of course not.I hope you dont trust your Christmas or holiday plans for these guys because they are the worse. They are nothing but Thieves when it comes to peoples money. They dont honor their insurance plans. so dont bother. They are 100% out of the way and still expect people to be there 2 hours early for their flights. And if your not there. they leave early. they dont care. they already have your money.They are very willing to take your money and give you nothing but bullshit. we had to wait 30minutes just for customer service to pickup the call.Ive never had such contempt for these people who run this place. They have no ruined 2 Christmas for my family. They have no heart and no soul. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ALLEGIANT AIRLINE!!! they are nothing but crooks.

The flight is perfect for a cheap price. I wish the seats were wider. Or two big guys together with wife shoulders and it is very uncomfortable sitting at angle.

Good news is they fly to small cities. Bad news is you have to pay for seat selection, carry on and checked bags. Their flight schedules are also limited.

Awesome as always I only flew one way this time from Las Vegas to Sioux Falls SD then traveled by auto for a couple weeks. Love the affordable prices and the clean aircraft and the crew has always been great.

Spare yourself the headache of this scamming airline. I paid 80$ for a 45lb checked bag.. Besides this, poor customer service, she acted as though my 45lb bag was going to break her back putting it on the belt. Never will fly again, will also advise others not to as well. Id rather spend my 80 dollars on a decent airline, even the flight attendants were acting a fool like flying was a joke.
