NOT DIABETIC FRIENDLY! If you or members of your household are diabetic, be prepared for them to give you food that can kill you over time. Have a plan for passing along the high carb foods to someone who can use them. Dont take that high carb junk home. Planning, preparedness, is the key to success!!! They dont mean to sabotage us diabetics but its sabotage nonetheless.

Casa de Peregrinos is it fantastic organization that provides food to families across our county. Hunger is a serious issue, this organization theres more than any others to alleviate hunger.

Ive always referred people to this food Bank and really appreciate the hard working polite volunteers. Sometimes its hit or miss on the quality but its based on donations so you cant expect perfection. I just know they will help anyone.

Never got my stimulus check need help to get it

They hand out commodities (food) on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Limited to once a month per household. You get a good selection of varying foods.

Very generous. Its very unusual for a food pantry to be out of cereal, but they were out when I was there. Theyre in the same building as the Community of Hope, which aids the homeless. The next building is El Cadito soup kitchen.

I was only there to donate food so I cant really rate it and I only can say its okay because it exists and it takes care of a needy part of the population

If youre short on food or at the end of your rope this is the first stop. The staff is courteous and non- judgemental. By comparison the treatment is better and the resources are more than most other assistance oriented places.

We go once a month and they give you enough food for the whole month. We are very grateful for this resource

We have worked forever y we have been poor forever. we rarely reach out for help but we were so hungry. never have we been fed so well. never. blessings to all who give their finest so some of us can, just for a moment perhaps, stop worrying about basic needs and actually live. many, many blessings.
