We rented for a few years through Pinnacle Management and had a good experience until the end. Marisela Carmona was our property manager, the home was always kept in great condition, we actually left the home in better condition than it was given to us. Upon our move in we asked Marisela to if the owner was willing to replace the appliances as they were old and filthy and the owner declined, which was fine so we bought our own appliances and marisela had the ones that were in the home removed. When we moved out we were charged more than $1,000 in items that did not make sense such cleaning the appliances we NEVER touched and trash removal when the home was COMPLETELY empty. We sent Marisela a few emails and tried to call her and she is no longer responsive to our messages and can’t even get an explanation from her. DO NOT rent from Pinnacle or deal with Marisela, she is extremely unprofessional and will seem nice upfront but once she closes a sale or rents a home she DOES NOT care about anything else. There are far better people to work with in Las Cruces.
Marisela has been our landlord and now our Realtor. Really couldnt think of anyone more capable and more professional than her. Shes amazing

I rented for 3 years at Country Crest and loved it! Only moving since I got an opportunity in Phoenix. Lisa in the office is a wonderful woman and is always thinking about her tenants first. My sister also lived here as well since I liked it so much. If youre looking for nice apartments with friendly staff and right by the university this is definitely the place for you!!!
We rented a house from pinnacle and had a great experience. Kita was amazing. Helpful in every way. When we called for any service, we had someone out within a day. Im sure everyone has a different experience, but if you take care of a house, then you shouldnt have any problems. Treat it like its your own.
I had a difficult situation. There was some major plumbing problems in our only shower.Maintenance was prompt with service and fix what they could.Despite the maintenance service the shower kept breaking. We were the only unit with this problem . The management staff was very understanding and helpful even discounting our rate after the issues continued.Eventually though they had to let us out of the lease and worked with us to move out quickly and affordably.I think it speaks a lot put in a difficult situation the maintenance and management staff did their best to make sure we had a safe and appropriate living conditions. Even when this does not make them the most money. Its not for the shower issue I would have stayed there long-term and we have no problem renting from them again. Michelle was very understanding and helpful, even when I was frustrated and rude.
I cant believe this, one of the employees who works for the management company . Stole something from me specifically a JBL Xtreme speaker that is worth retail $300 as well it was a gift for my 21rst birthday . I heard nothing from anyone about the status of it for maybe two weeks . The thing that gets me why take one of them when I have two identical speakers Im going to notice if one is stolen especially since they are right next to each other for a week in the same spot . There is no trust what so ever with the employees specifically the maintenance department .
I have rented from Pinnacle since 2016 and never had a problem with either Jason or Kita, unfortunately they both have left this company. Upon move out, I was charged a fee that was not stated in my lease. When I asked about the fee, and mentioned that when I had moved out of another property managed by Pinnacle, I was not charged this fee and both of my leases were identical except of course in regards to address, I was told that it was common sense. I said I understood but its not right to charge something that isnt in the lease. The manager then said it was policy and I asked when it became policy due to me not being charged the fee when I had previously moved out and she would not answer me. Overall, I enjoyed renting from Jason and Kita, but the new property manager is rude and unprofessional. I would recommend staying away from Pinnacle if possible.
I will never rent from this place again. When we first moved in the carpets had not been cleaned and we found urine spots every where in all of the rooms which caused the apartment to have a funny odor. Before moving in I asked if they had a roach problem and they told me no and all i have been seeing are roaches. I asked the neighbors around me and they say they too have this problem. Wishing i signed a 6 month lease instead of a 9 month lease I am ready to move out of here and find something more comfortable .
I rent an apartment at their country crest location on locust and it has been a great experience. Its super close to the university and rent is very reasonable. Reminders to pay rent are also sent out monthly which is great.
I had to leave my apartment early because my roommates were terrible. When I went in with my mother to sign the paper work to get off the lease we told the apartment manager that we wouldnt sign until we figured out how to get my part of my deposit back since my roommates did not want to return the money. She assured us that they would refund my money when the lease was up so that my roommate and I wouldnt have to deal with it so I signed the paper work. When I didnt hear back from them I emailed and asked how I would get my deposit back. Lisa then told me that since my name was taken off the lease that I couldnt get my money back. I told her that she told me that I would in front of my mother and the lady at the front desk and my mother also called and asked for her to call back but she never did. I got an email saying that I was mistaken and she said that she had never told me that. I am definitely sure that she did because I refused to sign the paperwork other wise. They are now letting someone else live in that apartment under my deposit. I will never be doing business with them again. I dont appreciate being lied to.
So far the apartment i got is good for its price, under the kitchen sink looks nasty, sinks are old and gross. Me and my love have our own shower head cuz we hate the ones from any apartment we have been in. i have taken pictures just in case they tell us anything when we leave in December, we did except it as is so i dont mind working around the bad but thats it. Good thing we have no kids or i would be worried. We chose La Mariana BTW
We are an owner and have been working with various companies in Las Cruces for over a dozen years. This is by far the most thorough, efficient, friendly, responsive and honest company we have worked with!
They’re rude!! Their apartments are Falling apart. My heat has been broken for 3 weeks with them doing nothing to help. They told me it was the plumbing companies job to give me a space heater. The plumbing company has done Everything to try and help. The staff has 0 consideration for their tenants and I will NEVER rent from them again. When my water heater was breaking, my maintenance man had to beg the people at the office to approve repairs I went 3 days without water. Through out living at a Pinnacle managed property, my dishwasher broke, my AC broke twice, my shower broke 3 times, my heat broke twice (once sending me to ER for carbon monoxide poisoning), my water heater broke and there are leaks through my kitchen sink.
This house management company is the worst here in Las Cruces. I have been a tenant with them for two years assuming that things would lighten up and settle down come to find out all the company dose is harass us. In two years rent has been paid on time even a day before and for (Jason) to be little tenants I would say if very bad for business. I definitely do not and will not recommend this rental management company to any of those is search of a nice rental with friendly property managers
I will never rent from pinnacle again. The apartment had no washer dryer hook ups the air doesnt work. I was never a day late on my rent and left the apartment very clean. I have the pictures to prove it. The management made up a clean up charge so I will not get my full deposit back. They dont care about their renters. The manager is one of the worst. I hope no one else has to experience this rental company like I have. Renters beware!! Every work order must be submitted through email, And it takes a couple of days to get things temporarily fixed.

The service is good for awhile, if you live in the Majestic Point apartments the service is terrible. Almost everything in the apartment is old and breaks and when the maintenance man fixes things its usually Half ass. My ceiling fan made a cracking noise and no longer turns on, I submitted a work order and all the man came into my apartment to do was label my AC.. He literally wrote AC on my air conditioner switch like if i was stupid. My sliding door is currently stuck open and wont close and OF COURSE THERES NO After hours number. So here I am going to bed with an open sliding glass door in 36 degree weather. I cant submit a work order either because the stupid website wont let me log in or reset my password. I pay $495 of my hard worked money I think I deserve some DECENT services.
Horrible, horrible company! My daughter, her husband and their small children have been without a water heater and a stove for months. They have no hot water, no stove and worse of all NO HEAT! Rachel Reyes and someone named Jeff keep putting them off with promises that it will be taken care of, and they do NOTHING! We have repeatedly called, left messages on their phone and email and they just dont care. We are now withholding rent with an order of abatement and still nothing! They are lazy, incompetent, uncaring and in my opinion criminal. So if you plan on renting from this group, I would think twice and consider other options, because these people just dont care.
When we first moved in the garbage disposal was broken, when the maintenance guy came and fixed it he left all of the pipes unattached. I was very upset a few days later when I noticed dirty water and food sludge under the sink, and of course I had to clean it up. all he had to do was screw the pipes together, it took me literally two minutes. the apartment was filthy when we moved in. the floors were filthy and there was curry grease all over the kitchen. we were able to clean up most of it but when we moved out there was some curry grease in the kitchen light fixture that I had tried and failed to remove with large amounts of de-greaser and they took $100 out of our deposit to clean it. I should have listened to the stories my friend had told me about this company; taking advantage of college students who cant afford legal representation.
I rent from the university court apartments and pay rent early, every month. Michelle (front desk) lied and gave wrong information as to why a $35 fee appeared on my bill. I made a mistake and typed in the wrong account number (because if you dont use your bank account info to pay your rent, they charge you another fee) while trying to pay my rent. No one informed me that i made the mistake and they threw a $35 insufficient fund fee onto my bill. Michelle told me to get ahold of my bank, because they charged my account and it bounced. This was not true, whatsoever. I called my bank and asked why the payment bounced (because michelle said it did), and they told me there was no history of that ever occuring. I called pinnacle back and michelle told me i would still need to pay this fee. I was frustrated that the company was trying to scam me into paying a $35 fee that they lied about. I provided information and sent an email. It wasnt until then that they discovered the true issue about me not providing proper information. WARNING: IF YOU DO BUSINESS WITH THEM, MAKE SURE YOU SCREEN SHOT ALL OF YOUR TRANSACTIONS AND YOUR BANK HISTORY. THEY WILL TRY AND TAKE EVERY DIME THEY CAN OUT OF YOU.

I notice the management gives non-answers with lots of Im sorry responses but there are no resolutions. I know someone who rented from them and this company is slipshod, shady and greedy. Dont ever expect your deposit when you leave. I cannot stress enough how reprehensible this company is.
