I love the bootcamp classes Ryan provides and couldnt wait for my son to turn 5 and start karate. Ryan is so patient with him and makes the classes fun and engaging. My son gets bored easily, but not here! I am so happy with how much he has learned already.

Sensei Ryan is an exceptional person and an even better martial artist. Ryan truly follows and embodies the essence of a martial artist well and does his best to explain and demonstrate the techniques in a way that is easy to understand. My martial arts journey started when I was younger, but I never thought I could do it. Now, I am back into martial arts and fortunate to have as good of a Sensei as Ryan. I highly recommend the dojo.

Ryan is superb with my four-year-old grandson who is a great student. I am so glad that I have enrolled him in this wonderful program and Ryan is so patient and really good with these kids. I have been to the other martial arts classes and Ryan Dean Martial Arts is by far the best.

I went to Ryan to try to get back in shape. Lifting weights at the gym was barely making me break a sweat. I joined The Dojo for the boot camp, but ended up taking some martial arts classes, as well. Ryan is first class, and will not try to sell you programs you are not interested in taking. He is the real deal, and walks it like he talks it. He cares about his students and is incredible with the kids. His own children are prime examples. If you are looking to learn from someone with passion for what he does, go talk to Ryan. Ive worked with Ryan Dean and the Dojo for more then six years. My children have worked with him through classes and summer camp, and I have trained with him at boot camp for a few years. I can tell you that his positive nature and commitment to his students shines through every class and he constantly works to change up his programming. The equipment you work on is in fantastic condition and the gym is always kept up to the highest standards! The staff I have worked with have also been so much fun, always motivating and challenging. Ryan Dean is my Personal Trainer and is a Wonderful Instructor and Motivator!!! The Facilities of the Dojo are top notch. He has everything you need to get in shape and more. There are weights, jump ropes (high quality), punching bags, medicine balls, electronic scales that measure body fat, weight, progress, you name it, He has it! He plays music appropriate for the activity youre doing, whether working out or martial arts. There are mirrors on the walls, cushioned padding on the floors and the entire facility is spacious and clean. I have lost 30 lbs. this year in 5 months! I work out with him 3 times a week Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Sensei Dean possesses tremendous knowledge of the human body, diet and nutrition, Martial Arts and more. He works with you where you are and pushes you according to your ability to become better and reach your goals. I cannot recommend him highly enough to anybody looking to get fit, healthy and make a lifestyle change that will bring about increased confidence, energy and longevity.

Master Dean has trained me both of my children since 2004. He is extremely passionate about martial arts with the patience to teach and engage children.I moved out of town a couple years ago, but when Im in town I go by the dojo to either do a class or one on one session. Ive trained at several martial arts schools in different states since my first karate classes as a teenager. This is an EXCELLENT Dojo offering traditional Okinawan Karate and self-defense oriented Jujutsu training.Master Sensei Ryan Dean is a passionate instructor who walks the walk. He sets the bar as a role model for what you can achieve with martial arts training, and he is an excellent instructor.This is the place to go for martial arts training if you live in the Largo or Seminole area of Florida.

Sense Ryan works hard to take a personal interest in you or your childs goals. He and his team of teachers have been excellent at bringing out the best in my 11 yo son and 7 yo daughter.

Both my 5 and 4 year old attend classes at the dojo and it is amazing they burn energy while learning how to focus, fallow direction, and how to respond instead of react.

First class operation. Always a consistent message for the kids and the entire dojo embraces the teachings and the way of life that is taught from the top all the way down to the newest students. Very refreshing to see the students constantly cheering/clapping and supporting their classmates and pushing them to achieve their goals. Sensei Ryan & Sensei Matt are teaching these boys and girls real life skills for future.

Excellent Dojo. The kids are learning more than martial arts skills. They are also learning about respect, integrity, courage, honor, perseverance, teamwork, and friendship.

I have known Ryan Dean for over 15 years. Started my Karate/Self Defense career in his garage of his home. He is very excellent in his skills and knowledge of the Uechi Ryu style of Karate. He is a wonderful Sen-Sei to all his students both children and adults. I highly recommend Ryan Deans the Dojo Martial Arts to anyone.

My son was a student at Ryan Dean’s The Dojo for a little over a year. I loved how hands on the Sensei team was with my (sometimes difficult) son. He learned a lot about discipline and the Uechi Ryu style of karate. I felt that during lessons he was engaged in what he was doing and he truly enjoyed his time at the Dojo. Unfortunately, after a year of lessons he did not demonstrate a desire to continue to improve his techniques and form and decided that he no longer wanted to continue in karate.I miss the team at the Dojo and truly miss the improvements that I saw in his ability to focus, pay attention, and his temper. I would reenroll in in an instant if he decided to continue in karate.If you child is eager to learn karate, then this dojo is an amazing place for them to be. They will enjoy their time at lessons and will feel pride of their accomplishments!
