I took my Sienna to the Toyota service a couple weeks ago to change tires, alignment and to check on power plugs. I asked them to put the same type of tire the car has and they said they would order them and once arrived I would bring the car back and I did so. Once they replaced the tires I found out that they installed tires that is completely different than my choice. I was very upset and spoke about it with the manager. He offered me to change it to the right one but that would also require me to wait even more. I was just okay with these other tires. Another thing they did about the plugs: My power plugs were not working and I told them it is most likely the fuses but they told me that the fuses are good but the whole unit needs replacement and they quoted me $190. I said I will think about it. Today I took my car to a neighborhood shop and the guy there quickly found out that the issue is the fuses and fixed it about 5 minutes and charged $15.You can now imagine how ridiculous their business is. Idk if they are lying to get you more or if they don’t know what they are doing. I was thinking taking the Toyota cars to Toyota service would be the right thing to do but no more.Be careful you all. Don’t think what they are telling you is right. Research and check other options.I have been there other times too. They were not much different. They are quick to say no to repairs that will need experty but will quickly want to replace the parts to multiply the profit.
