I love this place 💛 The owners are amazing… so friendly & helpful! All the employees have also been so very nice! I’ve had many pedicures & manicures with gel polish done. I’m a hygienist… and with washing my hands, using hand sanitizer and taking gloves off & on all day I have not had good luck with keeping gel polish on for very long without lifting. 2 weeks ago I tried the powder dip for the first time per the owners suggestion after talking to him about my situation. I wish I had talked to him sooner 😊 the powder dip is fantastic! It looks beautiful and hold up like nothing I’ve tried before! I went back today and had them redone… not because they were lifting or peeling… only because my nails had grown out! I could have easily gone another week! If you have had any issues with gel polish but don’t want to do acrylics, try the dip! Thank you Impressions! I appreciate you!

I went after work after being recommended by serveral people to go here. I was hesitant since Id had the same nail tech for over ten years, but relocated and had to find all new. Im very picky and cant handle a bad nail job. Impression Nail Salon exceeded my expectations! Anthony was personable, funny, and kind. I had no wait time despite arriving with no appointment, and my nails are killer! He listened to what I wanted and asked for my opinion along the way. I will be returning. :)

I got the Volcano Spa Pedicure 😌. SoOoOo relaxing! Much better than the regular Pedicure, although they are nice too. This was just special!!!! Thankyou for the experience! Love all of you ❤💕

The spa was nice the atmosphere relaxing. The service was lacking, the products are old and did not stay on not even a week. I paid for a gel/ shellac.

Went in fo prom nails, left very unsatisfied. the manager lemme come back in and get my nails redone, so i really appreciated that. their website says they chargin for “nail art” but i asked and it seemed like none knew how to do any so, i just wanted to put that out there because that’s the only reason why i went to this place. but overall the inside is nice, and the guy w the plaid shirt is cool. 🐛🐛🐛🐛🐛🐛🐛🇵🇭

Good service just watch the add ons. They dont tell you when they switch to more expensive items. Save tip until you pay, take off up sell money from there.

Super clean and relaxing! Love having pedicures/my acrylics filled here. The acrylics always last (no chipping, shape is great) and they will take their time. Best in lapeer, which reflects in their pricing... worth the extra couple bucks.

Clean and friendly staff. However, I was told I was paying extra for a nice 60 minute “very good” massage. It was 45 minutes at best and the “very good” massage consisted of rubbing lotion on my legs for 15 minutes; wasn’t a massage at all. Very disappointed.

Can’t do simple lines in the nails, can only do solid colors. doesn’t know how to do the simplest designs or even how to put acrylic on the nail right, it was so thin so I had to go way shorter than I wanted. Do not recommend

The best nail salon in Lapeer! Anthony was hilarious and did a fantastic job. The Volcano Pedicure was extremely relaxing and left my feet so incredibly soft. They really care about their customers and make you feel like a top priority!

I called and got an appointment within 40mins. They were very professional and the business was very clean. With COVID going on they made sure to cover all the precautions. I received a fill and a deluxe pedicure. The gentleman who did my pedicure was gentle and took his time. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Initially upon walking in, I was impressed for a walk-in only salon. The environment was beautiful. The first woman who initiated my greeting did a fantastic job at making me feel relaxed and did a great job with the first half of my pedicure (massage, lotions, wax ect.) Then when the time to apply shellac came about, a completely different girl traded places and begun the painting. She emphasized that she didnt like matte and warned me about the color I had chosen not looking good matte. I figured it was an opinion and had her proceed. (Oddly enough, as the first woman was addressing my feet, a gentleman came over and told her not to use that specific color either as it didnt ever turn out right and suggested a different polish of similar color that would lay better. It wasnt switched out.) When the second girl was done with my polish, it honestly looked very sloppy and the pigment was terrible. My right foot was much darker, especially the big toe alone as it was laid on thicker, and I pointed out to her that I could deal with it but that it was noticeable and not great. I was going back and forth with her about how I could potentially just paint over them if I absolutely couldnt stand it. She was telling me that I had to deal with it unless I paid for another complete pedicure just to change the polish. Thats insane as it was 45 dollars. I wished they would have done as the man said and switched it initially. Eventually she offered to change the color because there was no one else waiting, and as she began she told me, I dont know if theyll charge you or not. I told her I needed to know before hand. I wasnt going to pay double for something like that. She went and asked, came back and said they wouldnt charge me. I was planning on getting a matching mani and was starting to reconsider due to the burden I had felt I became. So, when the second color was finished, it looked MUCH better. I felt grateful that she had changed colors but she made it apparent that that would never happen like that anywhere else and that I would be told to deal with it. Cool. I now feel even more of a burden and should have just left. I let her proceed with my manicure anyway. She seemed to have rushed the entire process and cut a good chunk of my skin off clipping the cuticle. I made a comment on how I hoped it didnt get infected; since Im going to have an open wound during the rest of my day. She repeated Infected?! Why would it become infected?! Assuming I meant because of non- Sterile equipment. I think she was offended because her statement seemed defensive. I told her that wasnt what I meant. She continued to rush and compared to my normal nail tech, did a no so great job. It looks like I did it at home and Im no good. Its all over my cuticles and this open wound proceeds to hurt and is becoming red and inflamed as I knew it would. This was my first pedicure ever and I was trying to treat myself for the first time in a long time. Unfortunately, couldnt wait to get out after my toes were painted. I wont be back.

Very warm and comforting when you walk into the nail salon. They greet you right away. The take your temperature and have you sign a waiver about covid related symptoms. Very kind and professional people who own the salon and take care of the clients. They answered all my questions and talked with me throughout the manicure.

This was my first time ever going here. I typically get my nails done downriver where I work. The facility is beautiful, the massage chairs were comfy, and all of their protocols during COVID were very appropriate. I noticed multiple staff cleaning in between clients and making sure everyone felt comfortable. I got the volcano pedicure and really liked that! The shellac on my hands unfortunately started peeling off after 48 hours which was strange. When I called to let them know, the told me to come right back and they will fix it. They redid my entire shellac manicure and were very kind and apologetic. I will continue to go here because I know that some nails just dont always hold the gel polish for a variety of reasons.

Will always go here from now on! Very clean and calming. They pay attention to details.

I recently went to Impressions Nail salon and spa for a full and regular polish. The fill was fine but she applied 2 layers of polish back to back to my nail and I accidentally messed one up. She made me feel bad which made me even more anxious. I then messed up another nail and she made me feel even worse. She told me she should charge me 10 more $ and talked about me to her husband/coworker. I stood right up and left. I went home and painted them myself. I do not recommend this place what so ever. Especially if you have social anxiety to begin with. Mind you I paid and tipped 10$. What a waste.

This was My first visit. The place was very clean, inviting and the music relaxing. My nail tech was great, very friendly and did a wonderful job. I had an appt. But they didnt get me in till 30 minutes after my appt.

My daughter got her nails done on the 12th and they looked poorly shaped from the beginning. She is too shy to tell them that it was really bad. That was a week ago. Now her nails are grown out like she had them done 3 weeks ago and one broke when she was changing a roll of receipt paper. Called to get her in and the lady that answers the phone was so rude to her that I had to call back and let her know we will never return there. This lady started screaming on the phone at me with violence! Seriously! I was hoping to find a place in Lapeer that can actually do nails well like we have had done for years in the city. I had heard good things about that place. Unfortunately this place isnt it either. I will drive the hour to get the service and great nails for less than what these people charged from now on. If you havent had your nails done properly then you wont know what you are missing. I dont usually have bad experiences and need to leave a negative review but this was ridiculous! No I am not a Karen and Im not cheap but I dont like wasting money either.

Impression is my favorite nail salon. The staff are all nice, and have been happy to help me. They change appointment times on short notice when I have to also. Recently I have had Emily work on me, and she does a fantastic job on both my feet and hands. She also tells me things to try on my very dry skin, which is so heloful! I absolutely love this place, I’ve been getting my nails done here for several year and I’ve never been disappointed.

Salon has taken a lot of measures to make you feel safe by installing shields between customer and technician, space between chairs, etc. I was a customer before covid-19 and will continue to be after because of the importance they have placed on sanitation. Linda did a phenomenal job on my pedicure and manicure. She is a perfectionist, taking time to correct things I didn’t even notice!

Made an appointment and they were able to get me in the same day, however my pedicure did not start until about 20 minutes after my scheduled time. Waited another 5-10 minutes after my pedicure for my dip manicure to start. Pedicure was great and the polish looks wonderful. The manicure on the other hand is terrible. The man doing my nails barely spoke English (to the point where he couldn’t understand when I said I wanted rounded nails). And the dip is so thick and uneven on my nails. Overall wouldn’t recommend getting dip powder here.

Have had two pedicures at this salon and it was absolutely amazing, I get the volcano because it’s make my feet so soft and soothed after a long hard day, I see Kelley she is the best, always takes her time and is very particular about her work, she makes sure your relaxed, and satisfied before you leave her chair. She makes sure all your nail needs are taken care of, if your gonna make an appointment make sure you book it with Kelley.

My daughter and I had something called a volcanic pedicure. Which was $15 extra. But, so totally worth it! My feet feel amazing! You can pick from different scents. We picked Tropical Citrus! Smells so good and all the different creams and stuff they scrub with and put in the water, its just great! Very clean in the whole salon and staff was incredibly attentive!

Have been going to Impression Nail Salon for approximately a year. I have never had a bad experience. I go in for pedicures and also to get my nails done. The staff is always professional, friendly and so helpful! I have had several back surgeries and have nerve damage, and they never miss a beat helping me out with anything. I appreciate the beverages offered while I get pampered as well. This is “the” cleanest nail salon I’ve ever been to.

Love the way my tiger eye acrylics turned out. My daughter got the same thing and hers are awesome as well. The service was pretty good, its always super busy here. I called a few days before to make an appointment because I had 4 girls in a bridal party needing something from a full set to gel polish and a regular manicure and they initially told me I couldnt get an appointment. But when I mentioned how many I had in my party I was able to make the appointment. I prefer to have my nails done by the owner or his wife.

Recently I had to travel and could not get in to see them so I had my nails done in two different states let’s just say I that I never want this salon to close because the service I got from the other places just was not good. When I finally made it back Anthony he had a lot of work to do to get my nails back in shape. Thank you Impression Nail and Spa for great service all these years. I’m hoping they’ve improved from when I went. My experience wasn’t super pleasant at this salon. I got a full set of acrylics with regular polish and it was still expensive. Not to mention they all started falling off 6 days after getting them done. My sister came with me as well and got gel nails done and when she saw some dust or something in her nail she asked the lady if she’d take it off and she kept saying “you’re the only one that will see that”. Hers also peeled off in a few days after getting them.

I just paid $52 for Dip nails and the gentleman that did them did an awful job! He dipped 7 of my nails 2 times less than the other 3-making them not uniform in color by any means. The 5 of the 7 that were under-dipped are not the right color and look awful. The female owner even had to reapply the gel topcoat in one of my nails-she had to have noticed the variance in the color of my dip and she offered nothing to fix this. I will never go there again or recommend anyone to go there. What a waste of money and 2 hours of my time

The people are very nice. My pedicures are wonderful. I got a manicure yesterday and not even 24 hours later every one of my nails are chipping badly! For 18.00 the polish should stay on for longer than that!

Took my girlfriend here and it was absolutely awful. Her nails were way overpriced, we should’ve just went to the other place because it’s cheaper and they do a way better job. She was not very happy with the nails, said they were thin and uneven. Waste of money.

I have been getting my nails done for 30+ years. I stop in here to get a new set of nails put on. They do the best nails and pedicures I ever had. The massage chairs are the most realaxing chairs. They can massage you hole body if you choose to. The staff is very pleasant.

I first want to say I have never written a bad review ever. I also want to say that I have received pedicures here before and have had excellent service and been very happy. However, today I was extremely disappointed. I was a nail biter and the last 2 months finally grew my nails out. I went in to get a manicure and shellac. After my nails soaked she took my right hand out and started cutting my nails off. I think I was in shock and it took me a second to really process what she was doing. When she got to my left hand I said wait a second did you just cut my nails off? She then said Oh you didnt want your nails cut I said umm no just a manicure and shellac polish put on. She then said Oh usually when people want shellac put on they want their nails cut down .......Really??? Oh my goodness I have never heard of that!!!! I mean who goes in to get a manicure and want the nail tech to cut your nails off!!! She said Oh next time you get a manicure you might want to say you dont want your nails cut....WOW, Really??? I have to say, I want a manicure, shellac and Oh dont cut my nails off. I just figured she should know better working in a nail salon that when people come in asking for a manicure that DOESNT MEAN CUT THEIR NAILS OFF. I literally have no nails left :(

Went to Impression for a pedicure and eyebrow wax for my BFFs birthday. The facility was very clean and had a welcome and relaxing atmosphere. The staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful to ensure we got the items we wanted. Our pedicures were done very well and we thoroughly enjoyed them. The eyebrows came out one of the best I have had. I would go back and back and back again!

My first time at the salon today. I got the VIP delux pedicure and it was amazing!! The staff their are super friendly and fun. It’s a beautiful spa inside and very clean. I usually go to another salon in Rochester, but after my visit today I will be making this my new place!
