Outstanding service for the entire time Mike has been in business -- we followed him when he left his mechanic position in South Lansing and opened his own shop.I dont remember who originally recommended that we utilize Mikes services, but it was about 21 years ago and the guy was right: Mike is terrific.Mike has cared for our cars over the past 20+ years, and now he cares for our kids cars as well.Mike is careful, smart, detail-oriented, personable, and honest.I fully trust him with my cars, my kids, my dog... Mike is the best.

I just want to thank Mike this guy is a smart caring true mechanic who cares. I personally have had two cars worked on by him and never had to bring them back with the same problem. He is very price reasonable and will tell u what he knows is wrong with your vehicle. . Highly recommend him.

Do NOT get your car serviced here, especially if youre female. I had a problem with my car occasionally not starting. I took it in and they looked at it, said everything was fine and I should come back in 700 miles for new brakes.Well, my car still had the problem so I went to AutoZone for a new battery, but my battery was find, and the employee recommended a different shop. The new shop kept my car overnight and diagnosed the actual problem . They also told me that my breaks were 100% fine and I was being bamboozled by Mikes. Do not go here, theyre dishonest!!Edit: my prior legal name was Joy Strong. This is the correct shop.

Its very difficult to find an honest mechanic. Mike is amazing and I truly appreciate his honesty on what is worth fixing, whats not, and all the hard work he has put in for us!

Honest! I was told I needed $1,000 worth of shocks and struts but took it to Mike for a second opinion. He actually said I didnt need any work done. This was a couple years ago and now he is my mechanic. Today I called early in the morning and left a message. He was overbooked but still got me in and took care of at a reasonable price.

I had some issues with my car, took it another shop, got price gauged, and quoted way over my budget, took it to mikes shop, not only did he fix all my issues, he also fixed issues I was unaware of, for an incredible price! I cant thank you guys enough!

Best experience ever with an auto shop! Submitted an email regarding my needs (I have two vehicles both over 10 years old and both imports but I maintain and plan to keep them as long as possible). Mike contacted me promptly and we discussed what he could do and what he recommended based on my information. I scheduled an appointment and even showed up early, and Mike was all ready to get things going for me. The estimated cost and time to complete the work was more than fair. The work was completed in time and the costs were even less than I anticipated!It was so refreshing to deal with honest, dependable knowledgeable, professional people at an auto shop! i never got that uneasy feeling that I was being taken advantage of and I plan to bring both of my vehicles to Mike as long as he lets me! Great Auto work. At a fair price.

I had work done here on 2 vehicles in past years. Recently, I took a vehicle to another shop, thinking I had one problem, but found out that I had another. The problem I had was caused by a small error made at this shop over a year ago. I took the old part to Mike and explained what I had been told. I knew the repair was out of warranty, I, only wanted to let him know. Mike was apologetic AND wrote a check to cover my loss -even after I told him that it wasnt necessary.THATS INTEGRITY !All other repairs have been appropriate and priced fairly. Ill be back.

We have taken our vehicles to Mike for the last 3 years. He has always been courteous, honest, helpful and fair in dealing with us. He truly wants to remedy our vehicle issue and not charge an arm and a leg like a lot of car dealers.

Got a same day appointment today. They addressed each issue I wanted looked at, and Mike gave me a call with an estimate (consistent with a quote 8 months prior) before they did any of the repairs. He gave me a good opinion to hold off on a fix and the car was done by late afternoon. I will be bringing my Galant in within a few months!

I seriously will not take my car anywhere else. I had a junky car for a while and Mike was super honest with me every time something went wrong. Hed keep telling me he could fix the issue, but he consistently told me the car was a money pit. I could see he had my safety in mind. They go above and beyond here. This is a place you can trust without a doubt. :)

Worst place I’ve ever been to, rudest and most pricy I called 3 other shops to fix a freeze plug n they said from 150-200$ he was charging 2x that and was rude as hell also seen him laugh at a foreigner struggling to speak English plz plz look past this place to not waste your money !!!!

This was the worst automotive experience ive ever had. My car wasnt running for a couple of weeks and i called him to ask if i could tow it there. He said fine. This was my 3rd or 4th time going there. So i had it towed there and as soon as he received the car he called me and said he refused to fix it and I needed to come and get it. I asked why and he said because it was so dirty and smelly, and hes tired of people bringing him junk, he cant get his guys to enter the car and he doesnt want to catch any diseases. I offered to come clean the car out and he said no just come get it. My car isnt any more dirty than it was all the other times I came. I have three kids, they dont make and effort to keep the car clean. There was no smell I could detect and i drove the car daily before it broke down. I have also heard that im not the first person he mistreated. If I could give him zero stars I would.
