Ive been using Jerrys Automotive for a couple of years now and I wont go anywhere else. After years of bouncing around other mechanics, looking for a place that was affordable, honest, did quality work, and communicated quickly and politely, weve finally found it. These guys are great. I cant recommend them enough. Ive brought my car here for just about everything, from a leaky roof and a muffler that fell off on the highway, to mystery engine noises and a simple oil change. They always come through for me.

I have been a loyal customer for about 30 years. The company has changed hands a few times, but I believe those involved are of Jerrys family. But no matter, my mechanic is Mike. He knows my cars. Now, he works on both of my sons cars.When I am car shopping, I always call and ask if they can inspect the car for me. Mike has never steered me wrong on a car purchase. I have never been charged for this service. They provide fast service and thoroughly explain the issue(s). I cannot say enough about this repair shop. Jerrys has been around for a long, long time. Its not easy to find a mechanic for life! 😁

I am just as surprised as Jerrys Automotive as I have never been there before and I have never left a review. That being said I am a business owner also and take reviews quite seriously. David was very professional and informative! I appreciate how polite and honest he qast with me, especially being a female. Its nice to know theres a mechanic shop I can go that the employees arent going to be condescending, take advantage or try to upsell me on things I dont need just because Im a female who doesnt know much about cars. I will be referring them to anyone looking for car repairs!

I have nothing but great things to say about this business!Due to COVID, I had to leave my car here for five months while I took classes from home in another state. When I returned to the area, I noticed my car was very noisy in the rear and I was concerned about my brakes. I was also about due for a tire rotation and oil change. I consulted my fellow classmates for a recommendation, and Jerrys received astounding praise. I now understand why!From making my appointment to being charged out, I was met with friendly attitudes and professionalism. They were able to schedule me to get everything done at the same time, and allowed me to bring my own oil and filter to save on some costs (student budget, after all!). They called me promptly when my oil change and tire rotation were finished, called me again when they had diagnosed the problem I was noticing (warped rear brake rotors), and finally called me to let me know when everything was completed. I felt in the loop and well informed throughout the whole process, which only took a few hours. The cost for everything was very reasonable and they were able to quote me before they fixed the rotors and replaced my brake pads.I believe Clint is the gentleman who worked on my car, and he was very polite in answering all of my questions whenever we spoke on the phone. The other gentleman I spoke to when I booked my appointment and when I paid was also respectful and genuine. As someone who worked in retail and reception for half a decade, I know great client communication when I see it, and these guys had it!Having work done on my car always causes me a bit of anxiety, as I have been taken advantage of in the past as a young female. However, Jerrys exceeded all of my expectations and wished my worries away. I hopefully wont need to be back soon, but they would have my business again if I do!

Really pleasant experience getting my brakes done here. I’m always anxious about going to a new mechanic, but Clint was honest and pleasant to interact with! Would recommend and will use again!

I have been a customer for YEARS, since I was 16. My grandmother and mother have gone to them for even longer. They have been pretty honest, cheap, and friendly. I’ve never had any issues until now. I called Friday (7/19) before they closed to schedule appointment for Wednesday (7/23). Drop the car off the second they opened. Didn’t hear anything for two days, only to have them tell me they left for Golfing and still had not even touched my vehicle. Was told Friday (7/25) it would itll be done Monday or Tuesday before i go on my vacation on the 31st, but now it’s maybe Friday (8/2). If you need your vehicle as your daily driver, I recommend going somewhere else if you are in a rush. It seems like they just keep pushing me behind other jobs more and more because their one of the cheapest in town.Update: I spoke to a manager about my vehicle Tuesday after noon and had him solve the issues i was having and actually got it to me by the time i needed. Much appreciated will be back again.

I have used Jerry’s on a few occasions. I had an oil leak that could have been expensive but they started at the top of the motor replace a plug and problem solved. Wasn’t expensive at all. EGR replaced could have cost up to 500. This was a little harder to get to as it was in rear location cost 287. I also recommended them to my daughter and she was treated honest and fairly priced. Very professional a five star business.

Took my car to the dealership where I purchased it, for an oil change. they told me I NEEDED $900+ worth of repairs before i left. my dad suggested Jerrys, for a second opinion. my battery and heater hoses (which failed at the dealership) were perfect.as a young female, its hard to find a mechanic that is reliable and honest. (not just trying to scam me).ill never go anywhere else, I recommend you do the same.TRUSTWORTHY!

Never have a problem taking vehicles here. They usually tell me what needs to be done and what other issues that may need to be done later on.

Was going to give a 5 star yesterday. Shop seemed clean, seemed service was going to be honest and efficient, BUT on the efficient side of things they said it would be ready by 10 am next day. Sitting here today at 10:00 and now they say 2 hours before ready for 2 tires and oil change. Hubby had to go to work. I appreciate small biz and love to support . Editing my post, will consider returning. Staff hussled and got me out in 1 hour. Thanks and I appreciate the quick response!!

Love this shop and the people! My husband and I are new-ish in the area and we had no idea where to go when another shop cracked our oil pan. Chris and the rest of the staff were very helpful and got our car in the shop immediately and fixed in no time! Definitely making this our main car shop from now on! Thank you!

I was driving by one day and was having a problem with my van. Stopped in and 5 mins. Later it was fixed. Been dealing with this problem for months. Gone there with different vehicles. Found them to be honest, caring about getting your vehicle back on the road and in A 1 condition. I have let several people know about them. It feels good to know there are still honest people out there. They always explain in detail what the problem is. They saved me $2400.00. Just today. I highly recommend them.

Top notch auto service! I took my car to a major chain to have my rear brakes looked at. They wanted to charge me an outrageous amount for what I needed done. (Pink tax?!)So, I came to Jerry’s and they were able to do the same job for an affordable rate. The technician who helped me was very courteous and professional, and took the time to explain the work that was done on my car. I’m definitely coming back the next time I need my car serviced. Highly recommended!

Jerrys did an UBER vehicle inspection for me in late July 2019. They were much more thorough, than any of the places offered for free by UBERs affiliate. It was very affordable as well. Also, all of the staff was friendly and courteous during that visit.About a week later I had an alignment scheduled with them. Again everyone was friendly, courteous and the service was very affordable and quite competitive.Over this Thanksgiving weekend (2019), my vehicle had a problem stalling upon acceleration from a start. I went in and scheduled an appointment for first thing Monday weekend. On Monday the professional technician at Jerrys Automotive, diagnosed the problem in about 3 minutes, a cam solenoid, there are two on the vehicle, and one was bad. I liked the quote to replace one, and said just do both of them. After I agreed to the service, the technician had the work completed in less than 20 minutes, and I was in and out in less than 40 minutes. On the way out I said, I could not have be happier with the outcome.In my opinion, people without a lot of auto maintenance experience can feel comfortable that Jerrys will only fix what is needed to be repaired, and it will be running well; upon completion of the service. I took my car into the dealership a few mo that ago for a air bag recall, when picked up my car they told me I had numerous things wrong with my vehicle. Including a oil leak, transmission leak, Axels being rusted out along with other things. I called Jerry’s, they got me right in. 90% of the things the dealership wanted me to fix/replace wasn’t accurate or needed. Jerry’s is a very honest and friendly place to have work done at, would highly recommend them!

Jerrys diagnosed issue with my charging system for 2004 Honda Pilot. I had taken it to Ryans who had replaced alternator for a ridiculous amount of money but it wasnt charging still. So I had bought and installed new alternator and had to replace belt myself because Ryans forgot to change belt. Still wasnt charging. Jerrys figured out that the ignition fuse behind the dash was bad and replaced the that and replaced the worn positive connection for my cables for $124. Will definitely be going back for more work in the future!

After a brief call with the owner Chris, we were able to effectively communicate and clear the air of the initial confusion and frustration I had with my bill. He was very calm and professional the entire time we were discussing where the break down in communication came from. I apologized for my initial frustration and outburst onto social media about the issue. In the end, things were resolved.

Great service and great work. Nice to deal with a family owned business that cars about its customers.

I just want to thank the guys at Jerrys for fitting me in last minute this morning! I was coming from Detroit area and started to have engine problems. They got me in, fixed my car and I was able to get to my appointment on time!

$500+ in repairs. Fixed issue at hand in reasonable amt of time although when I picked up the vehicle once done, all in cab buttons and heater no longer worked. No rear defrost, circulate option inoperable as well. Vehicle blows both warm and cold air simultaneously. None of these issues were occurring when dropped off. Suggest going out of Lansing for vehicle repairs.

These guys are very good. they are not bs when it comes to your vehicle. They just replaced the engine in my Chevy Equinox 2013 they did a phenomenal job I like it they respect the time. The most important things I love abt them is they very patient with customers I was a lil bit delayed on my payment they do have patience to work with and call me to check on the status of my situation got resolved. I said a big thanks to them all especially Chris...I definitely recommend you to check them out for your vehicle repairs and maintenance

I took my vehicle bin on short notice but they fit me in and had an issue with the alignment machine got it fixed and had my car done the same day constantly in touch with me on progress and situation great staff and great service will be going there for more service when to much for me

The mechanic that did the diagnostic on my wifes car quoted her at $2,700! When I called back I spoke with the manager and let him know that I had called a number of other garages and received quotes for considerably less. The manager then said they could do the job for $1,400. I said go ahead and do the job. Then shortly after the mechanic called my wife back and told her that his manger was wrong and the job would be $2,700. At that point I had the car towed to another garage and that mechanic fixed the problem for $1,400. Im not sure if they thought they could screw my wife over because shes a woman or what but be careful with these guys quotes. They like to OVER CHARGE by HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS!!!
