Called in for a tow, and I was told it would be about 20m. Waited for 1h 45m. No contact from the company at all. Call in and the guy tells me his partner was supposed to call me back and tell me it would be 40m instead of 20m.Last I checked 1h 45m is more than 40m. I understand things happen, but it is not acceptable to be 1h 25m late without any contact and no update to when they will actually be here.Called them to cancel so I can give my money to a competitor. I cant imagine a company being this unprofessional. Glad, that I didnt have them repairing my car.

I like the guy that works the counter. I, however, didnt care for the mechanic who came out to tell me I couldnt work on my car there. The radiator popped and I was adding water to leave. If this was a ploy to get me to leave it there for service, it had the opposite effect. Id never hire anyone who came off as rude.

It was years ago but,when I used to work at a competing gas station on lake Lansing and hagadorn.we used to have repair service.no wheel alignment machine.we chose this location over the Mobil on Haslett and hagadorn.value was better along with experience.the snack shop has everything you can think of in here.in recent years,the location decided to get more local Michigan products to promote the state since it is near the interstate freeway.the owners have been at this location since 1976.the current building with some updates has been around since 1989.I’m good friends with the attendant who has been with them a long time when he used to work most overnights.(he works other shifts now.)the station is now closed overnights and I believe no garage service on weekends:it’s still a good location regardless and very rare to find a gas c/stop that still fixes cars and let’s you use the car wash.I saw other reviewers discuss whether or not one could use the pumps overnight by credit card and/or speedpass?I think there is a law preventing patrons from doing that without someone working there though other states less populated are able to do so.keep up the good work and hope to see this place celebrate 50 years.

Jake and Greg in the mechanic shop are two great, honest, and hard working guys. Came in for an oil change, they not only told me my brakes and rotors were needing a replacement, they also SHOWED me the proof and had a quote prepared with competitive pricing. Will for sure continue to use this place in the future!

FYI The service center & gas station have different hours. Service is only open until 5pm M-F.

Its easy to overlook the service component of this station, but its there and they do a great job. I had a problem with what turned to be related to the transmission. I booked an appt online and was able to get it in the next day. Jake quickly identified the ssue and also noticed a number of additional issues with the car. I knew about these and was going to get them fixed eventually, but he did a thorough inspection, identified all the issues, gave me a reasonable quote and promptly fixed everything. There were a lot of things, so the price tag added up, but the cost was very reasonable. Overall the service and communication was great. I moved the the area relatively recently and am glad to have a reliable place for car service in the neighborhood.

I would recommend Lake Lansing Road Mobil services to friends and family.Before visiting, I knew my vehicle needed a lot of TLC and Ive visited many other mechanics around town. What I really like about this place is that I am comfortable trusting Jake and everyone else there. Repairs may not be cheap but the diagnosis and work Ive had done here is all in the best interest of my car. I have many more repairs to go but after every visit my car is drastically better and I got detailed reports of everything done and what needs to be done.Jake is honest, a great mechanic and I appreciate his hard work. 6/5 stars all day.I will be back!

I came here for a car wash. It didnt do much for my car. Ill have to wash by hand.

I had a tire with a slow leak and I needed it patched or replaced as soon as possible, as we only have one car. I called a few places and nobody could get me in right away, and besides that I would have had to leave my car for half a day to get the tire patched.So I called Lake Lansing Road Mobile (less than a mile from my house, I should have called them first) and Jake in the service department was the one I spoke to and he asked if I could be there in 20 minutes. After he took a look at the tire, the wheel was seized onto the car and he couldnt get it off with a rubber mallet, which meant he might have to use a metal hammer on the wheel, which would result in more parts/repairs on the metal wheel. Jake came to the waiting room and explained how hard he tried to get the wheel off with the rubber mallet without damaging it, but it just didnt look good.I appreciated him talking it over with me, he really wanted to make sure I understood what the issue was and that I agreed before he took any more action. So I told him to do whatever he needed to do to get the wheel off. A while later he came back to the waiting room and told me he was able to get the tire off without damaging it after all, I was really pleased! A simple patch job after all. He also gave me guidance about which tires would need to be replaced before winter, etc.Jake clearly understands customer service as much as he understands cars. And before I left he mentioned that I was due for an oil change, which I thought was brilliant, and I happily said please do it.My car just got out of warranty and Ill need to start paying for repairs soon. Im 57 years old so I have been to a lot of shops and mechanics in my life. Shops that dont try to gouge you and honest mechanics like Jake are hard to come by. Jake earned Lake Lansing Road Mobile a new loyal auto repair customer, and I will continue to recommend Lake Lansing Mobile to people for trusted car repairs.

I took my car in for an oil change. The people there were helpful and kind. They did an excellent job. Ill go there again when my car needs maintenance in the future.

Told me eveything that was wrong with my car but what I sent it in for. Took it to Outback auto next day east fix two oxygen sensors. They charged me $200 in diagnosis and didnt fix a thing I love the gas station but these guys will rob you if you let them..

Employee had a bad attitude, just sell me my fuel and skip the derogatory remarks obviously the employee has no skills when it comes to dealing with the public the guy mumbled during our exchange, hire personable people.

The staff at Lake Lansing Rd Mobile are super friendly, easy to work with, great with communication, and provide wonderful service. I trust the staff to complete quality work at a good price.

I have been a customer of the Lake Lansing Mobil station for years and wouldnt trust anyone as much as I trust Jake and Greg with my cars maintenance. They are the best.

Gas and a car wash. All worked smoothly. Pumps were well maintained and clean.

I was very disappointed that when I came into the gas station the ATTENDANT and 2 customers did not have masks on despite there being a sign on the door saying masks were required. Very disappointed.

Great place to drive through a touchless carwash! The works is the best option!! We always stop by everytime were near by Lake Lansing Mobil gas station. I even got a $5 gift card for downloading their Mobil app to pay at the pump with a credit card without swiping at the pump. This is a great option so you dont have to worry about fraud. My daughter’s car broke down. I live 80 miles away. I looked online and found Lake Lansing Auto. From the first phone call they were awesome. They towed her car, diagnosed her car and fixed her car. I spoke with Jake 3 times about her car. When she went in to pick it up Jake have her a 94 dollar coupon, which is a LOT of money for her. Highly recommend them.

This is my go to gas station as I travel from Northern Michigan to the Lansing area. It is conveniently located by the ramp for the freeway. Now, I have never gone inside for anything to elaborate on that. Just keep fresh water in your window washer container and a squeegee that works well because the bugs have a hayday on my windshield.FYI... I love Rockin any gas station pump I stop at with a special little something-something. You can keep it or rehide it. #gaylordrocks

When using the self service car wash after I had already paid for the car wash and waiting for the receipt to print. The attendant yelled from the door that it was closed and to go away. If it is closed then you should not have the machine accepting payments. Now I have to dispute the charge with my credit card company. I have had dozens of car washes at your facility but never again.

The car wash is a waste of money. The sprayer goes around your car and leaves it slightly cleaner and you have to pay extra if you want it dried.

It was a desperation stop for gas. There arent many gas up opportunities on that part of highway to someone unfamiliar with the area. It was overpriced but I had no choice.

Great place to get your diesel fuel. I buy 99% of my fuel here and after changing my fuel filter with 30,000 miles on it the filter still looked brand new!

I go to this mobil all the time. The same couple of guys are always working. The pumps work and will authorize even when they are closed with the speed pass app. Its always clean. Also the have great deals on gas. Especially when you get a carwash. They have bogo coupons for carwashes on the back of Kroger receipts.

Jerks. My son ran out of gas IN their parking lot feet away from the pump. They wouldnt let him use their gas can unless he paid $12. The attendant is super rude and condescending. Ive deeply with him twice and both times he was very unpleasant. You should really hire better people.1st time: I was looking at oil and he asked if I needed help. I said I have a hard time wanting to by a quart of oil for over $5. He said, that I couldnt get oil under $5 anywhere. I told him I usually just get it at Wal-Mart for under $3, at which point he literally laughed in my face and said, No you dont, but ok. Why do I still get it for $2.37 then?2nd time: (today) I lost a dollar in the car wash self-service machine. When I told him what happened, he kept cutting me off and interrupting, so it was hard to explain the situation. When I finished, he laughed at me and said, so can you tell me what happened again in a way that actually makes sense?As I attempted to tell him again, he just kept laughing and interrupting again. Finally I said, Ill just take the loss, because your just rude and condescending. He replied, No Im just trying to make sense of what happened, and threw the money on the counter.Very rude and unprofessional. I use to only go to speedway gas stations, because theyre... Better, but driving Uber after my day job, and this station being close to work I started using this station. Well, Ill be going out if my way to find Speedways again. Im sure theyll thank you for your terrible service causing me to be a return customer for them. Especially since I go through at least two tanks of gas a week driving Uber.
