Hands down the VERY BEST barber shoppe in the world! Bob was the only person my dad trusted to cut his hair. When I had my son,(2002), I started to bring him in as well. Put it like this, my family and I have been coming here to Bob for over 15+years and weve never once had ANY negative experiences nor negative things to say about any of the barbers. Theyve always been very courteous, friendly, and fun. Not to mention as soon as you step into the shoppe you get this relaxing feeling and a sense of calmness. Im not too sure if its because of the atmosphere or their choice in decor, but whatever it is, it works for me. Just one thing, you probably should consider making an appointment beforehand because they do get super jam-packed with people and other appointments. Just saying. But, take my word for it, theyre definitely worth checking out. :)

Had the best experience!! As soon as you walk in everyone greets you. I took my son in with an appointment with Joseph, he did an amazing job!! He took his time and made sure we were happy with the cut and we are! even my son says he wasn’t to go back!! Would definitely recommend!!!

Im new to the area and have been bouncing from one barber shop to another. Though, I think I have found my barber shop. Since I was new I called ahead to see if I needed an appointment, but was told that they werent too busy and should stop by. I stopped by and sat down with my son. I wasnt told that there was a sign-in sheet, so I ended having another father/son ahead of us. I didnt mind, but wish u would have been told to sign-in. Once one of the barbers were available, Jenny kindly asked what I wanted and then proceeded to cut my hair. She took her time to ensure everything lined up and looked really good. The same went for my son. No complaints here. **just be aware that this is a cash only shop****Update** Me and my son waited for 2 hours patiently to get anyone to cut our hair. I understand that they do have appointments. But when people on the list after me get priority over me because they are past customers is a bit upsetting. Sorry that Ill not be coming here again. I really enjoyed my first visit, but it was my last.

I took my 3 year old son to get a hair cut and they did a great job. We walked in without making an appointment and didnt even wait ten minutes before they helped us. I was impressed with the barbers patience since my son was not completely still the entire time. My son had a huge smile on his face once he looked in the mirror to see the result of his haircut. The staff was very friendly and professional. I recommend this place and will be coming here again for sure!

I definitely liked the service.... Though their methods of balancing appointments with non appointments.... and the non appointments sometimes dont go in order of arrival if they have a preference on which barber they wanted.. made my wait slightly longer because someone else that came in about 30 minutes after me w/o an appointment went first because he had a preference of which barber he wanted. Strange, but nonetheless I enjoyed everything else!

Simply put the best shop in the AV to get your haircut at. Now Im not sure about womens haircuts but as far as male style haircuts go they Rock the socks off anybody out here. I have pretty crappy thin hair and if they can make my hair look good then Im pretty impressed. Everyone is very friendly, and in general pleasure to be around. One word of advice though youll probably be better off making an appointment here, sometimes you can sneak in and get right in, but most of the time youll be waiting a while.

Havent been to a barbershop in years. Was looking at reviews and decided on this shop. Great experience and very satisfied with the cut. Give it a try. I regret not trying the beard trim.😀

Bring my little man here and he Loves Bob! Not excited that it coats extra to make an appointment and the wait is usually extensive but they let me leave and come back if I need AND they feed me beer... so theres that. Love the modern barber shop atmosphere.

Haircut was good the first time. second time I went I had an appointment at 3 guy started cutting someone elses hair at 3. why have an appointment time if its not gonna be honored.

Called and got an appointment with Rosie today. Incredible job, the hype is real. Great cut up on the hair and beard by a gorgeous and talented lady. Nice to chill in a cool atmosphere with silly people that have talent and awesome prices.

I really love going to the Chop Shoppe, Armondo is awesome, I just show him a picture of what I want or give him an idea and he makes it happen.

I went in to get a fade and I had to wait 45+ minutes but I was a walk in so that was expected. I had excellent service Justin did a great job. Friendly atmosphere and an awesome hair cut. Thanks guys. Youre awesome.

A cool old-school style barbershop. My haircut was done well and attention to detail was there. Loss of a star as my barber wasnt particularly friendly, probably because I came near the end of their hours. Be warned: they are cash only (but very forgiving for those who dont realize this).

I have been going to the chop shop for years. This place has the best barbers in the AV .I always go to Bob because he fades me up perfect all the time. You wont be disappointed. If you dont like to wait you can make a appointment for a few bucks more.

Havent been in yet, but I called for an appointment and this is what I got: +$4 if youre a woman, +$5 for an appointment, and minimum of 2 hours to schedule appointment. So my hair is really short, electric clippers short, but it costs $4 extra? Hopefully I can update this with a really good cutting experience.

Came here for about 6 months and put up with it only because they are the very few barber shops in this desert. They tell you to make an appointment even though they hate it so your other choice is wait 2 hours then be told to talk to the barber so they can tell you that you’ll have to wait for another 2 hours. Honestly you’re better off driving to the valley or going to a new barber shop in Lancaster

I went and got a straight razor shave done. March hooked it up. Good atmosphere in the shop. I highly recommend this place for people who want there stuff done right.

This place is only good when bob or Jenny are there. If they arent there the barbers are slow and talk instead of cutting hair, very unprofessional, no one acknowledged me when walking in and they dont even let you know how long we might be waiting.I will only go there when Bob and Jenny are there,They are the only professional ones there!

This is the only place to get a great hair cut in the Antelope Valley. My son and I have had our hair cuts by everyone at this Shoppe and they are always on point. This place stays busy so grab an appointment.

I dont recommend this place, i went on a Saturday at 2:00 and they close at 4:00 and the old lady told me that they are not cutting anymore and was all with a attitude and the owner looks like a douche bag ! And never greet you when u walk in, theyre barbers arent great anyways so i will never go back! Bad experience !

If you want a great haircut come here you might have to wait awhile but thats a good sign bring a book are you iPad or tablet to entertain yourself time will fly by

Always get a great hair cut from anyone at Chop Shop. Totally love these men and women who make it enjoyable. You do need to make an appt however. So if you want to go Thier and I suggest you do, call and make an appt.

Only good barber is vicki. The rest are douchebags. Got a cut, didn’t even get the cut i asked for. Guy had a bit of attitude. Never coming back

When I lived in the AV, this was the ONLY place Id get a hair cut. Now I live over 60 mins away and I still get a hair cut at the Chop Shoppe. Thats how good they are!

If you dont have half the day to waste, then dont bother. Weve gone here for years, and the service has gotten worse. Weve tried making appointments, going in on off-peak times, and sihning in then coming back, all to no avail. AND, if youre a female then forget about their offering you a beer...sexist much? Perhaps their customers need to drink in order to endure the 2-3 hour wait!! I know the thought, God, Im gonna need a drink when we get through this!, has often crossed my mind while I wait, and wait, and wait. They used to give fantastic cuts, but it seems like their overworked, or dazed & confused. Either way, if you dig in, have a fully charged battery on your smart phone and bring snacks, you might make it through.

So I waited another hour and finally said something only to be told if I didnt want to wait I can make an appointment for tomorrow?Well its painfully obvious these barbers hate their jobs or what.I went to Johnnys Barbershop
