I forgot who assisted me. An older gentleman, I think his name was Bob. I didnt buy anything but the sales representative was very knowledgeable and quite friendly. This facility is limited to show-room appliances, you can order online and ship to the store for free. There are online promos as well as in-store financial specials. Bundle deals would be more suitable.
Service tech was helpful and professional. Tech was on time and really took the time to explain the issues and options. He quickly fixed the issue with my snowblower and also provided information on what to do to prevent issues in the future. Highly recommend using this service.
Its actually a new entertainment place with bowling, video games, pool, food n more
Over the top Great. I felt young again.
Terrible service, technician left lint and trash all over and tracked lint all over. He did not put all parts that were ordered on so my dryer is still not working 😕....
He left my basement a mess trash was left behind he left pieces on the floor my dogs stepped on it my one dog pad was ripped open blood all through my house and on my bed where I found her laying I also have pictures of everything
Its an arcade with actual machines from Japan, batting cages, a bowling alley, basketball court and a bar. You cant beat that combination.
Sears repair did a wonderful job on my garage door opener. It is a very old and interesting garage door built into the home in 1937 with siding on the outside. There is a window in it and it looks like part of house.Low and behold it opens with a Sears garage door opener and everyone is amazedMany thanks for maintaining this antique and to Sears for literally hundreds of years of service to the Church family for grandfather to father and now my girls who use the tools. I am 78 so that gives you some perspective.Jane F ChurchMy motto is if it says Sears on it call them. THey can fix and fix it right
Your service man was great in doing the job in good time. He knew what he was doing too!! My only problem for just 4 stars is because I had hoped he would have the part with him. Not his fault they cant carry a big inventory. We love Sears and have gotten all our major appliances with Sears for many many years. Thanks, June Jefferson
Actually I havent had any Sears appliance repair. After being racially profiled in a Sears store 28 years ago, I cut up my Sears card and never been back. Hope all Sears close for good. Thats why rated 1 star
Service tech John E was on time, friendly and very helpful. He diagnosed the problem with our refrigerator as a broken evaporator fan and showed me how to fix it myself with a part bought on Amazon. Seems to have fixed the problem and saved us $300 by avoiding a second visit. Thanks.
Very helpful. The icxe maker started working by itself. I would appreciate a call from the supervisor.
If I could give a zero I would. This was the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. The technician first came for a repair and one week later the dryer broke again (same issue). I had an appointment set up for 8-12 the next day. The technician never showed. When I called the office (which is not local) the technician had reported that I was not hone and left. The technician did not call prior to or after arrival and we have a RING door bell which records video of motion in front of the house and door bell rings. There was no record of the technician coming to the house. When I told the operator this they made no effort to rectify this issue only offering another appointment four days later. They would not send a technician back that day or the next day. They also would not offer a discount on future services despite not keeping the appointment that was scheduled. While Sears may claim they can give you next day service, the price and unreliability is not worth it. Next time I will wait a week for the local repairman.
My ice cubes were fusing together, and after the repair they still are fusing together. The repair did not work
The problem with my washer has not been resolved. Most likely I will have to request a third service. Very disappointed in my less than two year old Kenmore (Matage) purchased at Sears.
We are very happy with the service we received. From the moment I started my search and arrived on the Sears website, someone was right there via chat to answer all my questions. I had answers and an appointment in moments. It was a very smooth process. The technicians were also very friendly and efficient. I would definitely call again. Thanks!
These fellows rock! I own the last functioning Maytag Neptune in the free world. They have been to my home more often than my grand kids, know my dogs and cats names, AND have replaced practically every part of my washer at least once. All with good humor! Polite, handsome, most excellent at what they do, they are welcome here (all too often).
We called for our annual refrigerator check-up. Sears was able to schedule the visit on the same day. The repairman (Kirk) called ahead to let us know he was in transit, showed precisely when scheduled, and performed both refrigerator check-ups quickly and smoothly. Could not have asked for better service.
Ive used this service over the past three years to maintain my riding lawn mower. What I especially like is the speed of service. The repairman -- usually a guy named Dale -- arrives at the house, does the maintenance from his van, and completes the job on the spot. Belts tightens, filters replaced, mower deck leveled, tires re-inflated, blades replaced. The service is not cheap, $199, but its well done, and its worth the expense to not have my mower sitting in a shop for six weeks.
I called Sears because my refrigerator and freezer (only 2 years old) were not cooling. They got someone out that same day (a Saturday) which was nice. But when he got there he said the fridge and freezer were cold again. He said because we unplugged it and plugged it back in we corrected the error. He didnt look at anything or check anything. The only thing he did was charge me for the visit and say that if it happens again dont unplug it, call right away. That same evening it stopped working again. I called the next day (Sunday) and was told I had to wait 24 hours to make another appointment. So I called Monday and was told they said they soonest they could get someone out is Thursday. So Ive been without a refrigerator for almost a full week because their first technician didnt do his job and I still had to pay him for nothing. They dont care though because theres nothing you can do. I already bought their products, which I will never do again and I wouldnt recommend to anyone. Its no surprise theyre struggling. They should treat their customers like gold if they really want to stay in business.
The repair tech was very thorough, pleasant and knowledgeable. He did a great job. Also scheduling was easy. I called on Monday and they came Tuesday. Prompt courteous service. I highly recommend it.
On time, with regard to our daily schedule. Well spoken and knowledgeable. Not only repaired dryer, but explained why and gave several valuable suggestions to avoid dryer breakdown in the future. Neat, clean and efficient. Top rating.
Stay clear at all cost! Had two appointments scheduled now that my wife took off of work for. First time they called three different times during the day they were suppose to come to push back the est. time they were arriving. Finally at the end of the day, they called to say they needed to cancel. Rescheduled for another day early in the morning. They called many times to remind us of our appointment and then late the night before we received a call saying they needed to cancel. Called customer service and were told that they could only reschedule us for a week out but could not tell us why they kept cancelling. Asked to speak to someone in charge and after 30 min. a supervisor told us the same thing that they could only reschedule us for a week out even though we told him numerous times that date did not work. Asked why they kept cancelling on us and were told sometimes they overbook appointments. Still have not had anyone out to our home. Stay AWAY!!!!!!!
The repair was done correctly and very quickly. The technician was courteous and knowledgeable. HOWEVER, the repair was vastly overpriced. The call out charge was $79 and the repair cost was a flat rate of $90 for a total of $169 for less than 20 mins of work. Thats an effective rate of over $500 per hour! There are high priced attorneys that dont bill that rate! Insane.
I have owned this refrigerator since approximately 2007. Every time I have had preventive maintenance on this appliance, I have told the technician about the banging the compressor does whenever you shut the door and every time they have told me thats normal. This time when I had the repairman here and told him that, all he had to do was LEVEL/BALANCE the refrigerator so it sat perfectly square on the floor. Perhaps this could be passed on to other technicians.
My technician, Jim, was very nice and diagnosed my issue correctly. I have had the same issue with this dryer 3 times...the internal fan excessively collects lint and then causes the thermistor to blow. I cannot reach this fan on my own to simply clean it to prevent this issue. I think SEARS should offer a free yearly cleaning of this component for me....NOT the $120/year service option; or recognizing that this is a product flaw...should offer me a trade-up for a newer version of this dryer with this issue resolved. Otherwise it is simply a matter of time for me to experience another failure for the exact same issue....and another $$$ service call.
It took four (4), yes thats right four (4) tries to repair my refrigerator,THE TECHS were AWESOME. The PARTS DEPARTMENT left so much to be desired...three (3) that right, three (3) times the PARTS DEPARTMENT sent the incorrect part...and the techs had to return...this FIASCO cost me $800 in time off pay because of their ineptitude. Thanks to the service techs who showed great patience and thanks to SEARS for NOTHING.
Technician arrived on time, was very pleasant and answered all questions.
Great service
The technician was very helpful in fixing our washer under warranty. He was also able to supply me a belt to allow me to fix my dryer at the same time, even though the operator on the phone could not tell me if I could get this from the technician. I almost drove 45 min. each way to pick up this part in Harrisburgh, PA. Thanks to the tech!
Was glad I could get in so quickly and actually TALK to a person to set up my appointment without all the prompts! Was very helpful and completed job in a timely manner. Was not real happy about a $20 charge just to remove a sock though. Thought that was a little excessive.
I will never use again. First service man never showed up!! Tried calling 1800 # what a circus no one knew anything. Promised the next day, which they came and still expected me to pay in full. service man was very nice though.
The Repair Techs are great...but the fact that they dont send the same Tech to finish the job, is frustrating and the fact that the parts took most of a month to arrive...then they were not the parts needed to fix the problem, so I had to wait another week. Once all the parts arrived it took the Tech about 5 minuets to finish the job.
My experience was excellent. My last TWO experiences were excellent! A few weeks ago, a man named Jeff came and within minutes knew what was wrong and ordered the parts needed to repair my ice maker and the panel (where the water, ice, etc. is dispensed). Then my most recent Sears repairman, Vince, had everything repaired and all problems solved in very short order. He was very knowledgable and professional. So I give Jeff, Vince and Sears repair an A+!
Third time with same Hot water heater, third time I was out of hot water for over a week. Now waiting on a replacement water heater. Last time I get a Sears product. Takes forever to get repairs. Might come quickly but never have the parts readily available, then you get put on the back burner when they come in and wait a few more days. No more Sears, Im done.
We finally figured out what was wrong all along since last August, our 1st repair call. It was the little blue detergent cup that was getting clogged and not letting the water go through. Somehow, this cup got a weird, sticky-type substance on it and caused problems. Back in August, the repairman put a whole new part in, but not the little blue cup since it did not come with this part. Too bad, because it could have been fixed back then. But, the repair guys were great and were very prompt as well.
My daughter was actually at the house while the repairman came but I know the machine was fixed. I am pleased we were able to fix the dryer vut very disappointed at the cost it was 400.00 just to replace a knob with the gear box. Behind it. I would have bought a new dryer if I was there when the repairman was but I had to be at work.So the job got done but for a huge cost!
It was of satisfactory repair. Although the serviceman had to run for the part that was needed, after I told them what the problem was and what part was needed to repair the dryer. I told them everything, model no., serial no., and make of dryer(Kenmore). Once the repair was finished, I thought the bill was a little high, but said nothing to him. I called Sear Service department to let them know that. I thought part and service call to come out was about right at $100.00, but labor was too long to replace part I told them to bring. But overall satisfied with job done.
Came same day as called in the request (warranty-driven, annual check-up on both refrigerators). Technician on time, very focused. Smooth visit and outcome.
Service tech was good. Knew what to do and was very efficient. Cost of the repair was much higher than I expected. $400.00 to replace a thermostat in an 8 year old Whirlpool refrigerater.
The tech was extremely helpful and gave me a lot of important information about the problem my refrigerator/freezer was having.
Bill was fast and efficient fixing my dishwasher
My Kenmore dishwasher is over 10 years old but the plastic around the tines is wearing away and the tines are rusting and breaking off. Rust is a legitimate reason for a warranty replacement. The repairman contacted his supervisors and they said it was normal wear and tear and thus not a warranty issue. Only the bottom rack is involved. In my opinion, it should have been replaced for free as part of the extended warranty.
Our washer was acting up, and the technician corrected the problem quickly, and the quote prior to work was exactly what we paid. My only issue was the time I had to wait - first 5 days to get an appointment, and then I was asked to be available from 10am-2pm. At 1:56 I got a phone call that the technician was on his way. He showed up 30 minutes later.
Had my range repaired 4 months ago. Paid $300 to get it fixed only to break again in 4 months. Contacted customer service and there is nothing they can do for me since warranty is only for 3 months. What a total rip off. Horrible company with horrible service. I am done with sears.
I wish I could give zero stars...the first repair was scheduled within 24 hours...and $300 later, we thought the problem was fixed. Now, were a week out, the problem remains, and we have to wait 5 more days for another person to come out...our house is dysfunctional without an operational dryer and nothing sooner can be done...perhaps the second fix will work...lets just say I dont feel confident.
The service person was prompt. Let us know when he was coming. He knew exactly what to look for and found the problem. He resolved the problem and we have a working dishwasher! Very happy with every part of the repair experience!
This was just a warrenty check but the service guy was very thorough and crossed sold services for my other appliances which I found very helpful.
Not happy with service. Phone scheduling agent was told 2 techs were required because washer and dryer were stacked, only one tech showed up. Because he was alone he was not able to lift dryer off washer and consequently could not do a complete inspection of broken washer and missed the obvious broken belt. It took two more visits to complete the repair. Had to go to pay laundromat, very inconvenient.
Our washer and dryer are fairly new so it was an in and out visit. He checked the normal operatins and all checked good
Unlike your incredibly inept phone people the service was done very well. He was pleasant, funny, and skilled. There was a problem with the bill and he handled it for me.What a shame that you cant find people that speak and understand english to set up the appointments. Your Techs are very, very good and always have been. My family used Sears since the 1950s. I doubt if i will go through the extreme frustration again to schedule an appt even though the service work is superior.
The service technician was excellent! The repair went smoothly and took just about an hour.
Texting when the repair person would be there-great! Quick efficient service.
It was good; service engineer arrived within the allotted time schedule and completed his work in a polite and timely manner.
The technician was competent, but more focused on making more money for Sears than trying to saving some money for the client.
All was good.repairman new his job and was great.price I feel was about 50.00 to high for the area but I needed this mower done in a day so you pay the price.thanks Sears
Actual repair was fine. Problem was diagnoised, part order, installed, all working fine. The problem was getting all of this done - the people we talked to on the phone were not helpful at all. They promised things that did not happen. We were not called when they said they would call. The repair person never showed up when promised and no call to let us know that. Dealing with the office people was horrible - and all we were offered for our trouble was a $30 gift card. Two days off from work, being confined to our home in case they might show up and all they offered was a $30 gift card - which we have never gotten.
The Tech came out but Sears internal systems were down. He had no access to any parts or repair information on his computer or even over the phone with the Sears Help Desk. He stood in my kitchen for 40 mins on the phone. Never looked at my fridge. Tried to sell me an appliance warranty plan and was a total dick when I declined. Sears proceeded to charge me for the service call regardless of the fact that the Tech refused to even try to diagnose the issue. I have been fighting with Sears over the $105 charge since August of 2016 which they have now submitted to a collections agency. I WILL NOT pay for services that were not received. I will NEVER use Sears ever again.
This was just before Thanksgiving. The repair man came took the piece that was mailed here and tried to install it. He then informed me that the piece that was sent was defective. That was the first let down. The second blow was when he said, he couldnt return to fix my range until Dec.4th. You would think with the protection plan and none of this being my fault, that they would have tried to get it fixed sooner. Another control panel came on 11/25/15.
Repairman never touched the washing machine, declared that the pump was bad. It was not the pump, but the computer panel we later learned from the Samsung repairman. Sears charged me $63 for the service call that misdiagnosed the problem and cost me a week of delay. I have been a loyal customer of Sears forever, not any more.
The Man that came was great. Answered all our questions.
Service and service technician were excellent. Very disappointed in price gouging and pressure to purchase appliance plan
The Sears repairman spent the time that was needed to accurately diagnose & fix 2 significant problems that we were having with out refrigerator/freezer unit. It is now working very well.
Arrived within the time frame, completed the job well, no complaints!
The tech was very helpful and did a good job! Thank you
Technician was rude and impersonal and hesitant to even answer the simplest of questions. Wont use Sears again...very disappointed.
All work completed to our satisfaction.
Great. Quick and knew what he was doing.
Excellent service, very knowledgeable repairman.
So not happy with Sears repair and customer service right now!! I would hesitate buying their appliances in the future after my experience with their customer service.
The applicance was delivered on time and properly installed.
The repairman was very goodbut you keep sending faulty partsthis will be the fifth time i have someone coming out to fix it Iam not satisfied at all
Repairman was super nice and efficient!
Very experienced, capable and pleasant serviceman
Way over priced. Do not waist your time and money on these guys. Just buy new.... 350 dollars for a repair. Please hear my warning.
Great job done, fast service
The repairman was very nice, but the problem was still there after he left.
The problem was diagnosed immediately and now the tractor mows great!
In the end the issue was resolved. However, it took two weeks and they left my kitchen rather filthy. Not the best experience.
Stove working great, now!
Good experience, wish that service guy would put something over his shoes when walking into my house (it was raining that day)
Wonderful. Very professional.
Service Man Roberto was EXCELLENT !!!!
Labor cost outrageous
Prompt, friendly service
Very good
Friendly & professional!
