I want to give Aidan a shout out he does a really good job and has great customer service skills keep up the great work!
This has been my favorite game store for several years now. Super helpful and friendly staff. I usually come in to pick up some MTG product and their punch cards can help cut me a better deal than most other places. Their selection of newer and retro games is also fantastic. If you’re looking for a new LGS to shop or play at, I highly recommend.
My new favorite store! I work at the Kings next door and its so nice to get off work and grab a few cards sometimes. Cant remember the guys name who helped me but he was super friendly.
Honestly I felt like I was treated like an annoyance and that they just wanted me out of the store. I got better service from Safeway.
Cool store! TTRPG + new & classic video games + geeky toys. We picked up Magic The Gathering cards, video games, a Shy Guy plushie, a Spirited Away wallet, and a Japanese toy terrarium. My daughter forgot her cell phone there and the staff picked up when we called it and held it for us. Great guys and Ill visit there again when Im back in town.
Always have some rare and unique older games and some fare to moderate prices at least on the vintage stuff love that they have multiple locations but again the prices from store to store do seem different tho one store may have one price while the other quite different wonder if different owners or why this may be it just makes it feel less organized
Best game store out there. If you all have never been here youre missing out, Their game selection is the best of any place ive ever been to. I find myself coming back here a lot because the staff here are some of the coolest people i have ever met. I have been a collector for the past 15 years and thanks to them I now own over 300 games and 9 consoles. Keep up your amazing business and keep on getting them games! Staff are also really fun to chat with especially John, the owner. :D
Staff were super friendly and helpful. They had the memory card for a PS2 I was looking for and helped my daughter and I find a few cool games for PS2 (my daughter is into gaming so I dusted off my old PS2 for her). Great selection of retro games. Highly recommend
Ben was incredibly helpful and patient. He took the time to explain ESRB ratings and help me find appropriate games for my seven-year-old daughter. Having someone like that who can explain what your purchasing from his own experience is so much more valuable then just reading reviews online. Especially when youre trying to find something age appropriate for a young child.
Fantastic location for classic games, and for rare imported games for newer consoles. There is a small area where many card games can be played amongst several guests. Some prices are far too excessive, however.
Stopped in from out of town to sell some retro games. The employees were nice and had a great selection of gaming stuff with tables to play card games etc. Would definitely hang out there more if I was a local.
Awesome store! Super clean and organized well. There is a lot to look at and check out. The staff is super friendly and helpful! Shout out to Ryan for helping me with my MTG singles list and for answering some of my questions.
Staff is super friendly, they have singles in store, and they sell off tcg prices!
Always a good experience good stuff to the right and every time I made a trade in I get a good amount back
Awesome place for all of your gaming needs! Friendly, knowledgeable staff. I found this store on accident and now I wont go anywhere else!
I was told the store was closed with 20 mins to spare before 8pm when I knew exactly what I wanted and wouldn’t have been longer than 3 mins tops.
Got some great old sonic game boy games!
Great place if you love games, lol way better than any gamestop thats for sure!
Wouldnt recommend this location as to being kicked out for no reason even though i was looking for some hard to find rpg. Was told by the gentleman its time to make my decision as they were busy which didnt seem to be the case as they only had 3 other customers in the store. Also being rushed and pretty much not feeling welcome. I would recommend going to the other locations as they are much more friendly and helpful.
Better than any franchised game store. Found some D&D stuff, along with a few PS1 games I was looking for. Definitely the store I will be hitting up again.
Great place with lots of cool vintages video game stuff! Lots of New stuff too! Very helpful staff. Lots of stuff everywhere, someone level 7 farted and it was hard to make a quick escape!
Awesome local video game store to get great toys, collectibles, plushies, cards and advice on systems ans games if youre new to the space.
Cool store run by cool people. They have done a great job of keeping that local feeling in the 5 years Ive been a regular customer. Its always a pleasure to stop by and chat up whoever is working.
Didn’t know how close level 7 games was to me and was easily to find what I wanted and more. These guys Rock and can’t wait to go back for more cards. Cheers!
Always a fun place to pop into! Staff is always super friendly and helpful when we have questions. One of the only game stores we will shop at because they have fair prices and their products are of high quality.
Really awesome store. Very nice and understanding clerks who know their material. Excellent selection and excellent quality. Best game store in Denver.
Love it here but I really dont like the one guy thats tall kinda fat and have short black hair because hes rude rips people off on trade in but the other guys are awesome
Great tcg store. Tons of stock and table space. Cant wait for sanctioned events
Such a cool and organized place. The employees are super knowledgeable and helpful. From throwback games to new releases. Their prices (at all locations) are the best in Denver.
Very welcoming staff. Great service. Usually I go in to learn more about some of my hobbies and everyone on the team is great at answering my wierd vague questions. Plus the prices are pretty good. Environment is awesome. Definitely check this place out!
Bought an xbox controller after being told that it would work on my iPhone 11 Pro for COD. After it didn’t work and tried to return it they basically told me tough luck. Don’t have your reps tell someone it will work when it doesn’t and then basically laugh at them and say jokes on you buddy. I’m never buying from this place again. I’d give negative stars if possible. Guy was absolutely rude to me. I work in the service industry and I know if I talked to a customer the way he did to me I’d be in serious trouble.
Great place to head to and get your nerd on.
Best LGS in Lakewod IMO!
Friendly employees! Nice selection of goods!
Awesome placePeople there are very helpful with all video gaming questions and most card type games. Pokémon and magic they were most helpful
Helpful staff, clean space, and amazing prices on a huge variety of games. Best game store around!!!
Awesome store lots a variety in merchandise and a friendly staff
Staff are very helpful and nice
Best game store/ collectable store in the area hands down! They always make it right by me and the trades are always fair!
GameStop might go under but I will do everything in my power to support this business going forward.
Great customer service and amazing atmosphere. The employees are eager to help and answer any question I ask.
Best gamestore in Colorado hands down!
Great place, great selection, and very helpful employees.
This location is a little out of the way for me, but worth the drive. Big store, great selection, fair prices, and friendly staff.
Always have what Im looking for and great to stop in and see what new games and stuff they have in stock!
Best place for Magic the Gathering Ive found. They have an awesome owner and great employees. They draft on Saturdays for 13 dollars with pack per win prize support and a promo to top seed based on Wizards of the Coast standards. They also have commander on Sunday afternoons and other formats play throughout the week. The regulars to draft and commander are a good mix of veteran and new magic players that will make you feel welcome.I suggest this store to anyone looking for a good place to play Magic the Gathering.
Very nice store and employees! They have an amazing collection of retro games and merchandise! It’s definitely the best Video game store in Colorado!
They have alot of nice retro games and a decent price also the staff is nice
Usually a great place to go. It really tries to make a fun environment. Before this, Id go to them over any other store. Then today I got a copy of the FF7 Remake happily brought it home, installed it, only to find THEREs NO PLAY DISK. So I spent 50some dollars on a game and wont get a chance to dive into us for another week, all because they couldnt verify the disks were in the damn box! Thanks guys, it was a genuinely infuriating load of completely preventable nonsense. If they dont remedy this absolute fckp I will never shop there again for anything.
Friendly service and they do pre-orders for new games over the phone. Definitely the spot to shop.
This place has it all from Retro games, Figures, 40k figures, a extensive selection of both singles and sealed content from most major TCGs and an amazing Owner and staff who are patient and knowledgeable enough to make anyones visit worthy of 5 stars 👍🏼
Been looking for this game for years. Pop in on a whim and bam! Almost perfect condition!
I won’t shop here anymore such a disrespectful place. Everything is over priced and they never have anything new in stock.trades are worse here then GameStop
Very friendly and helpful staff that gave me a great deal on a trade, went out of their way to get me 2 games from a different location that this location didnt have in stock, and the store itself was clean, big, and had a great selection of games from older gen to new gen, as well as other things from action figures to t shirts. Even had cool Nintendo Switch games that Gamestop doesnt even carry in store or on their website! Great place to come play card games too!
These guys are the epitome of great customer service and you can tell they love their job. I had an issue with a used game, and they fixed it without question and were more than willing to fix the issue. The store is super cool too. Its great for game enthusiasts, both video and board alike.
There is SO MUCH to look at here. Walking around in this store is an exercise in nostalgia. Theyve got video games from Atari all the way to the newest consoles and games. They even have TVs setup around the store you can play games on. They also feature table top games like Magic: The Gathering and D&D.The vibe here is super friendly and fun, and the staff are incredibly personable. If youre looking for a welcoming, casual gaming environment, this place is top notch.
This is a good game store to BUY AT not trading in I learned I sold them a game worth $200 for $10. They screw you over before you get a chance to accept. DO NOT SELL YOUR GAMES TO THESE PEOPLE.
My kids love the kind, personal attention they receive each time they visit Level 7. My daughter was extra excited to see their sidewalk standing chalkboard featuring a hand drawn pic of an Animal Crossing character (the new game release she is ecstatic about, but game doesnt come out until mid March so shes driving our family crazy! LOL!).
This is THE best place to get old games for almost any console. They always clean the disks before you take them home. Also is a great place for Magic the Gathering cards and other types of tabletop games
Fixed my sons PlayStation 4, super cheap and picked up Starfox for my N64!!
Great selection of video and table top games! Also you cant beat there dice price!
Friendly staff and well kept store. Will come back.
An excellent store when a huge selection of magic the gathering, retro and current games, as well as need memorabilia. My experience with staff and protocols has been a bit inconsistent, but not enough to stop me from returning.
These guys are the best! Their prices match or are better than GameStop. I highly recommend these guys and their stores are unique and have a lot to look at! Best spot in town for any gaming needs!
Great to sell games to... NOT worth selling consoles to. I love you owners both you and the other level 7 in Lakewood just gave me wonderful fuel for Facebook. Thank you for being the perfect representation of your company!!!
Great people here who always take care of me! Would recommend to anyone and everyone!
Awesome store! Everyone who works there is very knowledgeable!
Friendly and helpful staff. Got some great games here for a good price. They sell fun retro games too.
Great guys with a real passion not just for games but for their community as well. From board games to card games, retro games to the latest releases, and T-shirts to figurines, these guys probably have whatever youre looking for and several things you didnt know you needed. Plus they buy and sell used games often at a much more reasonable rate than your local Gamestop.
Cool shop. A good chunk of the staff is cool to talk to. Some others not so much. A bit pricey at times, but I have left there happy more than once. I found the one and only copy of X3 I have ever seen in person there, so it is nice to see cool items make their way into the shop from time to time.
Amazing store with great employees. Went in with a gift card and my old PS4, traded up to a pro! They have great selection of games, custom t-shirts, cards, collectibles, and doo-dads. Local shop that has earned my business for the foreseeable future.
My first time at the new location and I left completely satisfied. 👌👌I brought in 4 games hoping to get some credit towards Red Dead 2, but I ended up not paying anything for the game! Straight trade. I know for a fact that Game Stop would never offer me that.Support local business and come to these guys first!
Love this place. A great place to play MTG
Excellent service and selection of retro games. Bought a PS2 game that didn’t work, they didn’t have another copy but let me exchange it for a game of slightly higher value, straight up and gave me another punch on my punch card for the inconvenience, amazing service! I highly recommend Level7
Wide range of great stuff, staff has always been exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Mostly magic the gathering stuff for TCGs, but enormous selection on video games. Worth checking out if you like any kind of game!
You cant beat the private shops for classic gaming. The place its a little small, and out of the way for some, but well worth it if you are an enthusiastic retro gamer. The staff are helpful, though a little bit less knowledge about some of their products.
I think this is a great alternative to gamestop. They even have somewhat of a loyalty program and if you purchase a certain amount of games you get one free. Depends on the punches on your card.
The employees are great help and the shop has a great selection of most everything you could be looking for video game and mtg
These guys are great! They will clean the games and also offer returns if they dont work. They will give reasonable trade-in values. Sometimes pricing is better than eBay.
Amazing place i love the atmosphere in here
The guy in the Oklahoma hoodie was super cool.. Didnt get his name, but he provided the best customer service. I will definitely be back. They have the best selection of retro games and the best prices. Boomer Sooner!
Friendly staff and good selection of products
Awesome store full of friendly people. The staff is great for recommendations if youre not sure what to play next. The store is full of new and retro. All of their locations are great, but this may be the best!
Great service and knowledge on the games they sell. I will be happy to go back soon.
Good hole in the wall always recommend my friends to check it out. Also nice the have so many retro games consoles etc everything you need right here. Started coming here because theyre one of the few places that sell ps3 games before i upgraded
Awesome place and employees. Had a battery replaced in Yoshis Island and when they put it in their in store clone console the graphics were garbled. They offered to switch it out with another copy they had in store even though all they had was my word that it was working fine before. I decided to take it home instead to try it on my Analogue Super NT before going that route and it worked fine. Just being offered to swap it out with only the customers word that it was working fine before though is top notch customer service. Anyone that would give a 1 star rating to any of the three Level 7 stores is clueless. P.S. Ill get that Jimmy Johns hat some day, I promise!
Awesome place with very friendly people. Had a dead pixel on a monitor that I purchased the day before, called in and came in and they had a replacement ready to go with no questions asked. Love the place been coming in at last once a week ever since me and my friends stumbled upon this gem.
Always amazing service :)Thanks again John
Awesome game store. Prices are comparable to those online and the selection of games is great.
I want to buy everything :(
The staff is incredible! Super nice and helpful. If you like ANY kind of game, this is the place!!!
Really like this place iys one of the only places to get ps2 games but the past 3 games Ive bought have worked up until a certain point then they just stop I know they exchange but Ive misplaced the receipt so keep yours dont make my mistake but a great place to go
They have a good selection of games at a good price but this is my reason for 3 stars: as a customer, I was never greeted nor asked if I needed help. I felt like even though I was the only customer in the store at the time, I wasnt welcomed. The guys were smoking outside when I pulled up but were they mad that I iterupted their smoke break? Im sorry about that but when you were willing to help the next customer who came in, asking what he wanted to find and even called up the other location, I feel like I didnt count as a customer. Im not the kind of leave a horrible review because the place does have good stock but I just personally didnt feel like the customer service wasnt as great as everyone raves about. Maybe it was just a bad day but that store wasnt very inviting for me. I didnt feel comfortable shopping there.
I had purchased Skyrim for the Xbox 360 and was told it was backwards compatable for the Xbox One. Got home it and wasnt. Had called and they had said I couldnt bring it back for the price I bought it and/or exchange it for something else. Ive had it for a week, and the policy from what I was told was it would have to be returned same day for me to get the price I bought it for. I work five days a week and cant be there that same day. So this is a bad policy and would hope this could be rectified.Edit: Was reached out to and the situation was pleasantly rectified by the employees. Thank you for your help. I appreciate it.
A cute little store with a good selection of old games and the like, but I was pretty turned off because they were selling counterfeit Nendoroids. It seemed really strange to be selling counterfeit toys without at least a disclaimer on that status - and I didnt see anything of the sort, unless I missed it. Im sure no harm was meant by it, but it made me pretty uncomfortable with the entire environment, unfortunately.
I loved Riddle School Game on riddleschoolgamecom It has so much more than 1 and 2, and it feels so much more fleshed-out.
It was my first time visiting Level 7 Games and I was impressed when I walked in. The store is clean and organized with a great selection of games and merch. Some people were shopping while others were setting up for an epic role-playing game and the staff was attentive and friendly. Great atmosphere for anyone even remotely interested in video games.I stopped by to sell several games, consoles, and peripherals I had from years past that I was finally ready to part with. I had called beforehand and spoke with Damian to ensure I wouldn’t be an impact on their time. I got there and was immediately seen by Damian which was great. We chatted about my stuff, exchanged pleasantries, and got to verifying everything was in order. Two quotes were provided to me – one for cash and one for in-store credit and both were reasonable (Jon B. helped with that, if I have the name correct). So far, so good. While we were waiting on a console to update, I walked the store checking out the selection. I found some items of interest – a Rick and Morty Funko – and asked, if in exchange for a stack of video game guides (14 to be exact) and some PlayStation 1 and 2 peripherals, I might be able to have one as part of the trade as the Funko were only $10. Damian had already mentioned before this conversation that they don’t pay for guides or some of the peripherals I was bringing in and Ill admit this was just me trying to sweeten the deal slightly given the amount of stuff being traded in. Unfortunately, Damian said no, but I still provided the items anyway as the shop might still make some money off them in the future and I didn’t need them anymore. I bring this up only because you might want to temper expectations on negotiation. I understand Level 7 is a business, but it was disheartening to me that it was flat no. I provided items of value and I don’t think my request was out of bounds. Perhaps future customers might get some different consideration depending on the trade or the purchase – a little goes a long way. However, this review was not a 5-star because of that. Up to this point, I was content and pleased and would gladly write a 5-star review. It was what happened next that compelled me to detail my experience. Before the cash payout, I asked Jon B. (the gentleman providing the quotes) if he factored in a controller I had brought in. He said no and adjusted the quote – additional $5 for in-store credit and $3 for cash. As Damian took my info, they chatted briefly to the side and Jon told Damian about the adjustment. I heard Damian say that he already quoted me a number less $3 and that was exactly what he brought out in cash. When I questioned him on his math, giving him a chance to correct the issue, he stood firm with the lower value, despite being told by Jon B. about the adjustment. I pushed more and he finally said he could grab $3 out of the register. Feeling disappointed at that encounter, like I was a jerk for want the full amount I was quoted, I initially said forget the $3 and was going to leave. However, I spoke with Damian and asked if he could just take $3 off a Funko I was looking at which he did. And I appreciated that.In the end, all was taken care of and the world was right again. I’m not writing this to affect anyone’s career or get anything for free. I simply wanted to call out that I almost got screwed out a lousy $3 for what? I can’t imagine that the $3 would have impacted anyone working there and to initially fib about it made it even worse. I can understand a business being somewhat stingy with merchandise regardless of trade value, but there’s no need to knowingly stiff someone out of the value of their goods. In fairness, I only have my experience and given how things worked out okay ultimately, Im not saying that anyone working there is intentionally trying to scam anyone. This is an opportunity for Level 7 to make some adjustments so someone else doesn’t miss out on something as small as $3. I’ll gladly go back to buy and sell, I’ll just stay vigilant when doing so.
Awesome place to go for gaming! Staff is always friendly and helpful and informative! Recommended way over Gamestop!
Great selection of games newer and old. They also have Magic and Warhammer and an assortment of gaming collectibles. Awesome place worth checking it out.
