If I could give this place no stars I would! Complete liars! I called 3 times on 3 different days to make sure I could pick up a Western Union for a larger amount. The first time I called I was told that they didn’t have the money and to come back the next day. After I got off work the next day, I called to make sure they still had it and the lady told me that they stopped doing western union at 5:30. So she told me to come by on Thursday because they are open later. So once again.... before I head out there I call and make sure they have the money. The lady told me yes. So I made the 1 hr drive to the location and I get there. The lady immediately gives me attitude and says I cannot pick up the money. She said she doesn’t have it. She also says she was not the person I talked to on the phone. Then later admits that she did tell me she had it. So I said okay why can’t I pick it up? And she says we don’t have it. I asked why she told me on the phone that she did and she just shrugged and said sorry come back tomorrow! So day 3 and I still don’t have the money! I ask for the managers name and number and she says come back tomorrow! Ummmm no! And then she tells me I can leave with my attitude. At this point I only want the managers name and number but she refuses to give it to me!

This place is the worst place ever! I went there twice and both times i had a terrible experience. I should have learned my lesson the first time, but apparently Im a glutton for punishment. They should realize they are in a service based industry and there are plenty of other places to cash checks and work on their customer service skills. I find it hilarious that they dont see the irony in the fact that the name of the company is Friendly Check Cashing when in reality they are the exact opposite of friendly. The lady behind the counter is something that rhymes with punt. The first time I went there, even though their website as well as the signs in the place mentioned cashing personal checks, the friendly lady behind the counter let me know they dont actually cash personal checks in a condescending way, as if this is common knowledge and I was an idiot for not knowing. Apparently It might have killed her to say youre welcome or even acknowledge the fact that I said thank you as she completely ignored it as she stared blankly at me.On my second trip to their lovely establishment, I arrived at a few minutes to 7pm to find the door was already locked. The sign said 7pmso really I should have had a few minutes, but fine they closed a few minutes early. Thats life. Where it gets nice is that the lady who rhymes with punt was behind the counter, and looked at me watching me pull the door only to find it was locked. I simply said to her I just have a quick thing to do, would it be possible for you to do it real quick? I was totally expecting Ms. Personality to say no, but she took it a step further and made a face of disgust and then turned away without saying a word. I will NEVER go there again and I dont recommend anyone else go either.. unless you like treated like crap, in which case I can give you the number of a lady that for $50 will kick you in the nuts repeatedly while you call her Mistress Candy.LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES & GO ANYWHERE ELSE OTHER THAN HERE!!!
