Art has been my barber for over a year now. Appointments fill up fast, but are always worth the time. I love the interior decoration, jukebox music, and classic feel of the store. More importantly, Art is a good conversationalist with an eye for detail, and unlike other stylists I tried before, he never argues me out of a style choice. Great place for vets and everyone else!

Art, is the best barber I have found in the area..he is attentive, funny, gives great recommendations on what to do with your haircut even if you are not thinking that is the way you should go and truly loves what he does.In 23 years of Army service, Art has been the best barber for me. This is the place you want to go to. Art is hands down the best all American Barber around that doesnt have the hipster feel like some of those guys in Tacoma. When you walk in the door youre greeted with an old school Barber shop feel complete with a fully functional jukebox. The haircuts are affordable and the man knows his stuff. Beacon Barber shop is where the advice and jukebox are always free.

Excellent work. Make an appointment a day or so ahead of time. He takes his time and does it right. Art is a skilled tradesmen. Tough to find these days but once you do... Youll keep going back to him.

Art has been in business for almost 2 decades and it shows. He knows how to treat his customers and run a good shop. Retired Coast Guard and Navy hes a top notch guy. Definitely coming back.

My son wanted to find a new barber shop closer to home and so we decided to go to Beacon since it looked like a traditional barber shop. It is! Complete with the Juke box, real old style barber chairs and a razor neck and over the ear shave to complete the cut. Prices are reasonable, cut looked great. ( and my son is really picky) and it was quick as well. The only thing to know is that the shop works off of appointments, not walk ins.

This gentleman provides an excellent haircut for an excellent price. He is a modern classic! You want a amazing old timey barber experience? Look no further. I will not be going anywhere else!

Went here and was told he didnt have enough experience to help me. And that there was an african barber down the street. Completely unbelievable!
