Went here because my usual salon was booked up. Made an appointment for 4pm and showed up on time, they made me wait at least 40 minutes before i was helped. Two employees were busy and one was just sitting there on her phone. Then they messed up my nails. One of my nails is completely angled sideways. Three have uneven tips. She cut the length without even asking me how long i wanted them. They didn’t let me get regular polish on acrylics, they made me get gel. Literally did not give me the option. Then processed to charge me 50$ and had the audacity to ask for a tip as if I wasn’t just ripped off. Will never be coming back here. Highly suggest you do the same, they rob people of their time and money!

Initially walking in I thought it was a super nice place! but the manager ended up being the one doing my nails and was pretty careless. the shape and thickness was not proportional, the design was really carelessly done too. I don’t think it helped that the health inspector showed up while she was doing them and she left me there to take some signs off the wall and put some things away… I probs won’t be going back it definitely wasn’t worth $70!

ABSOLUTELY horrible. The business is focused on how many ppl they can complete over quality service. I went back to give them another chance, same exact result. They place you with different ppl to ask you for multiple tips/padding price. They DO NOT go by listed prices. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE if youre looking for quality product/service. They want to take advantage of the location/demographic theyre in.

I really liked this place at first after another placed messed up my nails but then it got expensive and then they started getting careless about nails. different lengths, fall of easily, and one lady added a design when i didn’t ask for one. i might have to go back to dream nails as their fills are $20 cheaper than this place. they also overbook themselves way too often.

Dont bother making an appointment. It means nothing. I called and had a 2pm pedicare appointment as did another lady as well. At 230 I got up and was leaving and they stopped me and said they were running water for me, which I thought it meant someone would start my pedicure. Not so, it was 3pm before it started and both OS us that had appointments walked out at 4pm. Ridiculous. Nail walk ins were helped before any appointments. Poor way to run a business.

I will never come here again, usually when I come I pay $60.00 for toes and nails this time I just did my toes and took of nail polish I got ready to pay and asked how much she said 60 dollars I looked at her and asked her did you guys change the price, she looked to the manager and spoke in her language and they started laughing. I paid and left on the other note they ruined my nails they are so week and brittle now .

The service here was terrible. I asked if I could come for an appointment at 1:00 pm and they told me to come at 12:30 pm instead. I arrived at 12:30 pm and they had me sit in the spa chair and made me wait over an hour before they started my service. They did this to multiple people. They overbooked themselves and had more people there for services than they had technicians present. I asked for a discount for waiting over an hour for my service after making my appointment ahead of time, and she only offered me $5 off as long as I still tipped her. Not impressed.

Fantastic pedicure with great massage. It was super clean and one of the best pedicures I’ve ever received. I will go back.

Love going to VIP Nails! Very clean, very friendly and awesome nails. Busy facility but they go out of the way to fit you in!

My daughter and her friends went there and waited an hour before any were helped with an appt. Then other walk ins came in and were helped before some of the girls with an appt. Also, she did not get what she asked for. She should be offered a free Mani or money back.

Poor application of polish. Had to come back for retouch an hour later which was frustrating due to my daily schedule. Another thing....I would have given a tip of course at the end but the techs insisted for it, demanding $10 each. I have never experienced that. Plus after a bad job I never would give $10. All in all I will not be returning.

Let’s start with the owner yelling at the technician to not do my toenails over after she clearly messed them up, then she rushes out of the store never to be seen again, after I refused to let her do my finger nails.(she wears glasses🤦🏾‍♀️) she filed all my nails in one direction. My toddler could’ve done a better job with her eyes close. I had the technician do my toenails twice, and finally I told her to just take the polish off, both of the technicians that were there left the store without even locking the door, I sat in my car to see if the owner would come lock the door, so I could get my refund. That sneaky son of a gun never came back. This place shouldn’t be open, they have shady business practices, anyone willing to leave their business unattended, and unlocked for the sake of $40 bucks is SKETCHY AF.

Wow, this was a great pedicure experience! This highly professional & sanitized salon uses disposable plastic liners for each customer with new filing tools. This was very impressive and would recommend this salon to anyone in the Lakeville area!!

She trusts Alex, and lets him design her nails, and the complements dont stop, Im a even a little jealous that my wife gets so much attention.Not sure why, but the name comes up as this, but their official name is V. I. P. Nails.

Wouldn’t even give a one star, but that’s the lowest. My experience here was horrible. I came in and asked to have my powder gel manicure taken off, and my nails cleaned. I left with my powder gel manicure still on my nails, she only trimmed my cuticles, and charged me $15 for basically sitting there for over half an hour and not getting done what I asked, because she was too busy talking and watching something on her friends phone. Very disappointed. Not sure if I should be calling the manager to complain, since it doesn’t even seem like they even try to satisfy the customer.

Went to V.I.P Nails to get a basic french pedicure for $25 and thats all it was- basic. The lady did ok and was nice, but noticed some blemishes on a few of my toes and felt like she left my toe nails too long. They arent horrible to the point where I need to go back and get them fixed. All in all, Id recommend them if your in the neighborhood. It seemed like they had a few repeat clients the day I was there. Just FYI, this salon used to be Star Nails, but they are under new management now which is why the name is different.

This is the WORST place to get your nails done period. I went in and showed a picture of what I wanted. My nails look nothing like the photo. The woman continually filed my skin, she seemed to rush through the appointment and never gave me a manicure even though I got a full set. She filed one side of my nail too much and now there’s a huge bump on the sides. I paid over 50 dollars and these nails look like a seven year old did them. Once I was done she kept rushing me out of the salon. Do not waste your time or money going here. I have tried this place three times and I’m always disappointed.She also answered her personal cell phone while I was getting my nails done.

Got a Pedicure. Price was good, but my toes were cut in many places at the cuticle, and she pressed so hard when filing/buffing that I actually developed bruises under my toenails... then 3 of my nails ended up getting all gross and fungus-ridden (I have never had that problem before, so I suspect their instruments were not properly cleaned). I would never go back. In fact, I am now scared to go anywhere - I think I will try the Minnesota School of Beauty in Lakeville nearby, because I can probably be assured that an instructor is double-checking to make sure the instruments are properly sanitized.

I got my acrylic nails done there and they were done wondefully. They fit perfect, were strong and smoothe, and looked beautiful and natural. I am always excited for the times I get to go back and have my nails filled and repainted. Everyone there is very friendly. They always ask if you want or need anything, such as a drink. They are always doing their best to make sure the customer is happy, comfortable, and having a good experience. It is a very friendly atmosphere there as well. They make my nails look more and more beautiful each time I go there. Perhaps one of the most exciting things is the amazing designs they make on your nails. The designs are so creative and beautiful and leave many in awe. With such friendly staff, great service, and great prices, I definitely recommend this place to all. You wont be disappointed.

My nails are always great and their customer service is very good this was the case when alex was here now I dont know whats going on, I scheduled an appt for 12 but when I arrived I was told I had to wait 15-20min until someone came back but other people are walking in and getting their nails done. Its been a week and my $30 gel nails are already chipping. For the money paid, this is a rip off. The man I had doing my nails was very shaky. He spilt many things while I was there, including water onto my lap. It would have been fine if he had had great customer service, and sorry. However, he didnt and proceeded to clean himself and his side of the table off. Lastly, many of my cuticlesmall were cutdown to a point where they were bleeding which is uncomfortable and painful. Overall, VIP nails had horrible customer service and the quality of the nail waso lacking

I got a gel manicure. The guy was on his phone (on speaker, loudly) and texting half the time. My nail lengths were uneven and poorly finished. I suggest going somewhere else.

I had a few hours to kill and needed to get a pedicure. I went to VP nails as I had gone there once before and they had done a great job. However, this time, I didnt get the owner, but rather an older woman. The pedicure was the worst I ever had. My left (big) toe is still bleeding from around the nail where she dug in too hard. (I get pedicures once every 2 weeks. Ive never experienced the level of pain that I did in that pedicure.) The, massage was just awful. She literally pounded my legs. Asked her to stop, stated I was done, (cancelled the pink and white fill I was going to get after the pedicure, paid and left.) Today, my left toe is swollen and painful. Im bummed.Wouldnt go there. Wouldnt recommend it. Looks like others have had the same issue.
