Went into the store to look for vinyl flooring. The woman at the desk was very kind & helpful. My husband and I were able to find what we were looking for and we placed our order. We provided the delivery date that we needed the flooring to arrive and that delivered early in the morning. Very smooth transaction all the way through. This would be our 2nd time using GA Floors-2 years ago for carpet and now for vinyl flooring. Both times we were greeted by Derrick. We went in looking for something in particular & he lead right to what we wanted. Actually, fell in love with something else :) Very reasonable prices. Date of install was provided- guys showed up as promised and I couldnt be happier with my floors. I also have to give shout out to Steve and the guys who installed, very nice and efficient work. Will use again in the future if needed.

We used Georgia Floors Direct two different times to put wood laminate in our house. The store staff was friendly, very helpful, and were able to accommodate to work with our schedules. Fred and Steves crew, their installation job was fantastic. Our 1st purchase was 2.5 years ago. We put wood in our entire downstairs living area. Our second purchase was complete at the beginning of June of this year. Georgia Floors Direct installed white front steps with wood risers, wood in our loft, and wood throughout our master.The entire process was seamless. From starting in the store with a salesperson to completed installation.We will use Georgia Floors in the future to re-carpet the other bedrooms.

After reading this stores reviews we decided to visit this store. Upon entering we were greeted by the manager Derrick. He was super nice and friendly and answered all of our questions. He wasnt pushy and explained the difference in carpet. He set us up with Tony the carpet installer. He did a great job! Thank you both for the great job. We will see you in the near future.

Always a great shopping experience. Staff is very helpful and never pushy. Theyll answer any questions and offer advice if you have questions. But then they leave you alone to look around. We spent some time trying to decide between 2 options and it will really nice to do that without someone hovering over you just wanting to make a sale. Ive bought laminate flooring and living room carpet at the Lakeland office and been extremely satisfied. Ive also gotten several carpet remnants that work great for entrance and dog rugs. Very happy with the service received from Georgia Floors Direct in Lakeland Florida. Derek the manager was polite, and helpful with my laminate flooring purchase. There was a delay in getting the molding but that was due to the manufacturer. The crew that came out to do the installation were also great. Fast and professional, did a great job removing the old carpet, moving the furniture and installing the floor and completed the entire job in one day. Highly recommend these folks and I will be back when I re carpet my bedrooms.

Georgia Florida Direct was amazing. They had the best prices and a great selection. Their staff was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Our floor installer, Leroy, was also a pleasure to work with. We only did our kitchen this time but we will be going back to them for other projects.

There prices are fair but I found I could had done better. The real issue is with the installer Tony. He was late and came and left again. Installation not that good. I would recommend them possibly for the flooring but not the installers.

This is my first time leaving a review but I felt that I needed to. After visiting my elder mother in Lakeland Fl she said stated she wanted to do new floors in her house. I only planned to visit for 2 weeks so time was a concern as I wanted to be here to help my mom out. We first called the company who advertises on TV and then visited a few other flooring stores in the area before we stopped in and met Derrick the manager. Instantly felt comfortable with him and my mother adored him. He showed us several products and described the pros and cons of each. He said he would get the floor installed in my time frame and assured us it will go smoothly. Derrick provided us a few samples to take home and we agreed to let his contractor come out and measure our floors (Steve K). The same day he called and came out and measured! The next day we stopped back in and received the quote. My mom was happy with the price and Derrick scheduled the install for later in the week. The guys came in the home and treated not only myself but my mother like she was their mom. In one day the floor was done and the furniture was put back! I cant say enough good things about the guys and Derrick for making my mom happy. We truly appreciate Derrick who went above and beyond for us and I cant thank him enough. Only negative is I cant use your company in Iowa!

I love my new carpet and padding. Derrick made my purchase so stress free. I shopped around and received quotes for carpet and padding from other stores. They were substantially more money than the quote I received from Derrick at Georgia Floors Direct. My floor looks beautiful and I am very happy with how it turned out! The gentleman who came out to install my carpet was very nice as well and did a wonderful job, but unfortunately I cannot remember his name. After shopping 2 places and calling 2 more it seemed I couldnt get help for a small piece of carpet I was in need of. I then called Georgia Floors Direct and Derrick answered. He told me he had a great selection of carpet and if I came in he would get it cut for more as long as we were patient as he said he was the only one working. We drove 45 minutes to get there and upon arrival the store was busy. Derrick greated us the minute we walked in and said he would be right with us. After a few minutes he made it to us and helped us out. After we paid he said he would get it cut as soon as he could. Within 20 minutes we were cut and loaded up. Its hard to find customer service like his these days. We installed the carpet yesterday and couldnt be happier. Youve earned any future business we do or my moms (she loved him as well) and will recommend you and your store to everyone.

OK.. first review i think ive given to Georgia Floors in Lakeland. Weve used them since we moved down here in 2009; this is our 2nd home we moved into since then. Never had any issue with them at previous home, where they did ceramic tile & laminate flooring in all rooms but living room. At current home, we used them to remove carpets in bedrooms & install water resistant/waterproof laminate in those rooms approx 1 3/4 years ago..still looks great! Recently, this week, we needed our master bedroom & mother inlaw building carpets removed & replaced. Derrick was awesome & in a week, the installers came this past monday. The 2 areas to recarpet were rather large and needed a good deal of time. Their INSTALLER, Tony, called the Friday past and couldve come the following day, saturday, but we werent going to be around, so we made it for Monday the 21st. Tony was AWESOME, came on time, and went right to work! The first day, he was by himself due to scheduling issues, but darn, he did it all by HIMSELF.. i offered to help, but he had it down pat! He worked until the in law building floor was completed, then started on tearing out and prepping our master bedroom suite. He worked non stop except for a nice visit from his family who brought him dinner! He finished all the prep work and said hed return first thing in the morning; it was going on 8pm and he was rightfully so, exhausted and we had no problem with it even encouraged him to stop! He came back first thing in the morning with a nice helper, his stepson Tristan. They worked their butts off and did an AMAZING job! Tonys been doing carpet for over 20 years and it shows! Our in law building looks AMAZING, and now our master bedroom suite looks INCREDIBLE! Thank you Dereck or Derrick .. lol i get the spelling mixed up, but the thanks really go to TONY for the EXCELLENT work he did!! Flooring didnt last a month. The laminate started bubbling 3 weeks after install everywhere in my home. There were no consequences or refunds to accommodate our situation. The biggest waste of money was purchasing flooring and using their contractor. I could have done a better job myself.

Sales staff was ok, but installation looks terrible. The installer they sent was nice but the results were terrible. Every seam very visible. Its embarrassing when guests see the carpet. There is a gap in the carpet at the seam between the living room and bedroom. I pointed out all the issues to the installer before I paid and he assured me that the seams would improve with time but after 2 months thats not the case. I called the store to tell them about the seams and the ONLY REPLY they had for me was exactly this: The seams arent guaranteed to be invisible. Basically zero customer support after they got our money. I would not use this store again under any circumstances.EDIT: They did come out to look at the seams, but finally said that if they tried to fix them it might come out worse than it already is. Seams still look bad.

Walked in the store and nobody around. Walked around the whole store and still not a single person around. Then as we walked back to the front door there was finally an employee at the desk that ignored us and never said a word while we stood by the door still looking at some clearanced flooring. The man behind the counter never acknowledged us 1 time till we were walking out the door. Wont come back!
