This was the best car buying experience weve had to date.. I spoke with Michelle who was our salesperson and advised her which vehicle we were interested in and she walked the vehicle and sent me an updated video/ pictures. I advised that we would be coming from North Florida and would like to have all paperwork completed prior to our arrival. We were literally in and out of the dealership within 30 minutes. First, we worked online via messaging with Sales and Leasing specialist Trey Lawrence Chapman to work out the deal for a new 2021 Tiguan and the trade of our old vehicle. He promised that he would have everything worked out and when we came to the dealership we would be in and out in an hour or less. Well, he came through for us. We met Trey at the dealership and we brought in our trade which they quickly looked at and then we finalized the paperwork with Business and Internet Manager Bradley Frazier. All of this was done in less than an hour and we drove the car home and for a great price on top of everything else. All of the process was no pressure and was the most calming car purchase I made in my 63 years of life. This place is family-owned and operated and they have a great family feel about it. Great place.Josh is the best car salesmen I’ve met. He was accommodating for my whole family, including my dog. No pressure, he knew I was not trying to deal in monthly payment but rather total price. In the past Lakeland Toyota ignored me and it has been on multiple occasions salesmen have ignored me due to me wanting to talk overall numbers rather than monthly payment.I didn’t want to play that game and josh respected that.We didn’t talk for a week or 2 and when he got what I wanted for the price we were looking for he reached out to me. Again without pressuring me.Overall the only complaint I have is with myself. I should have had my numbers in line better. The car dealership was asking a bit more than value for the car. But my wife is happy and I paid virtually nothing for a full warranty.But do your homework and go in there and ask for josh. You won’t regret it.

Let me start by saying WOW! I have been around the block you could say. I am no spring chicken and I have had many experiences in dealerships over my years. None quite like this though. I called Lakeland Volkswagen in regards to a pre owned vehicle. At this time I had been searching for just the right car for some time. I am not local to Lakeland so I thought I would give the a ring to see what info they may be able to provide me on the vehicle. I was able to get a hold of a sales guy ( Trey Chapman). Right off the bat I could tell this guy was not trying to sell me anything and truly just wanted to help provide me information in order for the to make an informed decision. I had many questions in which he was fast to answer with knowledge. He even went to the point as to text me from his person cell with a picture of himself and all his personal contact info. This felt like it was a friend trying to help me at this point. He not only gave me all the info I needed but sent me a video walk around of the vehicle pointing out things along the way. By the time I went to the dealership I felt as if I had already seen the vehicle in person and knew exactly what the price would be. I just needed to drive the car at this point to make sure the vehicle didnt shake or wobble. All was good and I made my purchase (in and out in under two hours might I add). Terrible inventory, charming associates. Perfect recipe for a blooming business. Brought up an issue with my vehicle, which I have NOT even had for a month, was told to bring it in. Took it in, and service dept took note of issue and brushed it off, stating it was because of the “newness”. Long story short, company told me they don’t recall my visit and I ended up paying a large sum of money in excess to what was for a vehicle bought less than 90 days ago.

Scheduled an oil change and was out of town so my wife took the vehicle in for service. They turned on lights on the dash that were not on when she gave them the keys, they advised her to have the tires rotated when the rear tires were bald and recently rotated so it would be dangerous to rotate them, didn’t put new oil change sticker on the car, didn’t wash the car, and charged $237 for unnecessary services that I declined over the telephone. They record their phone lines so the rep asked my wife to call me on her cellphone. When I called the dealership two days later when I saw the invoice they accused me of trying to get free service, even after the manager and I caught the tech lying on speaker phone and I had said I want to pay for my oil change and be refunded for the additional services that I had declined. The service manager offered 15% off my next service. I wouldn’t recommend anyone go to this dealership due to their lies and refusal to make the situation right. Now I also have to go to a shop and have the tires rotated again to be safe in the rain.

This dealership is a joke. Tried to sell me a car without floor mats. NOT EVEN CARPET FLOORMATS. Every car in America comes with floor mats. Manager said “it just slipped through the cracks” they wouldn’t give them to us unless we financed through them.I highly recommend driving 45 min over to Kuhn VW if you’re looking for great customer service and an even better deal!

I had a great experience here. Very rare for dealerships this day and age. Hunter was a great point of contact. He was helpful, kind, and professional. Someone get this man a golden ironing board and iron😂. Used sales staff also great. Finance guy was also realistic and upfront. Great all around, pricing was very fair.
